Pluto Rokkett Type 1 Shifter (ferret)
Rope, right. She needed rope, and apparently she also needed to be quiet. Lame. Still, Pluto listens and nodded, though she said nothing as she turned away from the edge of the boat to look around it. There was no rope in her immediate sight, so it looked liked Pluto would have to search a little bit, and that was easier to do when she was a furry demon noodle. So without looking about it, Pluto shifted back into a ferret, her light hair changing into white, brown, and gray fur. Soon she was nothing but a furry noodle on the floor of a boat.
Now it was time to get searching, so Pluto took off, scouring the first floor of the boat since she was definitely not going further inside without good old Chester with her. He at least knew what he was doing, Pluto was still just as clueless as ever. This was not her area of expertise, this was more of Nero’s thing. Pluto was more of the kind of girl that stayed behind the screens, staring at a computer screen and helping everyone else do boat-robbing things while never actually being in the line of danger. This was new, uncharted territory for the girl.
After a long search of the boat, she was able to find some rope and quickly shifted back, picking the rope up in her arms as she ran back to where she had landed. Pluto poked her head off the side of the boat, waving to Chester down below. She said nothing, but she lifted the rope into the air and pointed to it, mouthing the words “I got it” to him. Then she threw one end of the rope over and tied the other to a secure location.
Well, she had done her part, the rest was up to Chester.

Rory Hayes Type 1 shifter (white headed capuchin monkey)
Rory was fluffy. He was fluffy in his monkey form and he was just as fluffy as a human. His human hair fluffed up in a way that shouldn't be possible but was. And he loved every second of it. Sometimes he would just let his hands sit in his hair because it was soft and he liked to touch it. When it got cold, he'd hold his hands in his hair instead of investing in a good pair of gloves.
So even as Rommy challenged him (or accepted his challenge) he continued to wear a smirk on his face as he watched her from across the table.
The smirk slowly faded as he watched Rommy transform from the human girl across from him into a very fluffy snow leopard. "Aw, come on! That's not fair!" Rory argued, looking devastated that he'd lost the title of 'fluffiest'. "I was talking human... not animal." He watched her for a moment before shifting into a monkey. He shrunk down smaller and smaller, hair growing all over his body, until he was looking over at her through the eyes of a monkey. He slowly moved to perch on the edge of the table. He did smile victoriously as he watched her try to drink as a snow leopard. At least he still had hands. He looked down at his little monkey hands and let Rommy turn into a human again before he followed her example and was soon sitting across from her as a boy. "Animal forms don't count," he agreed, the playful tone to his voice proving that he didn't mean any harm.
Fluffiness forgotten, he focused on their spy conversation. "Your knowledge of Enridck the Great is beyond useful for this mission. We thank you for your service... Rudolph Springsteen and all of his men," he said, fighting a smile. "One day, Endy will turn to the good side," he agreed, shaking his head in mock disappointment at the boy.
"Oooh! Peanut butter!" he agreed. Peanut butter had a strong taste and he could definitely see it overpowering the cheese. "Let's get home and actually make this feast!" he said. He got to his feet and reached for Rommy's hand, a bright grin on his face.

Kaia Ridge Type 2 hybrid (cheetah x giant panda)
"You sure I don't need to beat this kid up?"
As long as she was dating Apollo, Kaia knew she'd have to deal with questions like that from her cousin. She rolled her eyes playfully as she looked at the zebra hybrid sitting on the couch. His eyebrow was raised as he awaited an answer and she couldn't help but be amused at how he'd lost some of his usual chill and go with the flow attitude when it came to his younger cousin's safety and happiness.
She chuckled. "You don't have to beat him up. I promise. Apollo is a good guy." He really was. Maybe she was just a teenage girl that let her feelings guide her, but she truly felt something for the hybrid. Something that she hoped would last past high school and into their futures - whether that was college or growing up and getting jobs and getting married. Of course, they were only teenagers. She didn't want to focus on a future when they could enjoy the now and she certainly didn't want to alarm Apollo by letting him see what thoughts had crossed her mind at some point.
"Fine, but I'll drive you. I want to make sure you're going to his place and not some party or abandoned haunted hospital or whatever." Zander let out a long sigh as he climbed to his feet and turned off the TV. It wasn't long before he was ready to go and he grabbed the two motorcycle helmets from his room. "Here, kiddo," he said, handing her the purple one.
Kaia held the helmet under one arm as she followed Zander out to where his motorcycle was parked. She climbed onto the back, holding on tight as Zander started the motorcycle and took off down the street. Of course, he knew where Apollo's house was. He'd dropped Kaia off plenty of times. It wasn't that she needed the ride. In fact, she was completely capable of getting herself to her boyfriend's house in one piece, but it was the fact that Zander wanted to make sure she was okay.
She was all he had and he was all she had. Sure, they may seem closer than most cousins, but they'd don't have much family besides each other. Zander was a cousin, a brother, a father. He was everything, all in one. And she knew that she was his daughter. His sister. Sometimes his rock. She was everything. So she wasn't surprised by the way his chill attitude dropped whenever her safety or happiness was questioned. Would Apollo keep her safe? Would he break her heart? Would he treat her right? These were all questions that Zander needed to make sure were answered correctly.
Otherwise, he wouldn't be afraid to fight.
"Thanks," Kaia said. She gave Zander a quick hug and then slipped off the motorcycle and headed up to the front door. She saw Zander waiting in the driveway, his hands resting on his hips as he sat on his motorcycle. He was going to wait for Apollo to answer the door so he had the chance to give him that 'I'm-watching-you' look that fathers and older brothers everywhere had learned to master. She chuckled at the sight of him waiting, his face hidden by his helmet, as she approached the door and knocked. At the same time, she sent Apollo a quick 'im here' text so he didn't even have to look at who was on the other side of the door.
How efficient.

Levi Rue Type 2 (grizzly bear x raccoon)
Levi knew some hybrids wouldn't eat meat and he didn't blame them. He was sure it was odd for them to eat meat when they were part animals. He had never had any Bear or raccoon meat, but he was curious to see if he'd feel a bit of discomfort at the fact that was eating animals that shared the same DNA as him. But it wasn't something he liked to think of. No, he just thought of the fish. His stomach grumbled as he thought of everything they'd brought home from their weekend in the woods. Salmon was definitely his favorite and he was glad to see that his obviously superior tastes had rubbed off on his feline girlfriend. One would think a cat girl would enjoy fish, but he knew that Ivory had her own preferences. She was allowed to like something over what Levi liked and he ate... well, anything really. He didn't discriminate when it came to food and would try anything at least once. He'd always been that way. He did have a special place in his heart for salmon. Other fish was good as well, of course, but salmon... Man, that was a good fish. By far. He'd eat it anyway anyone wanted to cook it.
Levi himself wasn't the best cook. He could... usually cook without burning down the apartment. There had been that small fire a few weeks ago, but luckily the coworker they'd been having over for dinner had jumped into action and put the fire out before Levi could even react. The bearcoon hadn't said another word over dinner, embarrassed by the fire, but their coworker hadn't been expecting much more than he received. Everyone at work knew Levi didn't talk. That was part of the reason he worked in the back. Even the idea of talking to a customer was enough to make him shudder. Of course, he knew he couldn't expect Ivory to take on the only role of a cook and a cleaner. He couldn't expect his girlfriend to waste her days doing nothing but caring for the house. Instead, Levi took over a decent amount of cleaning so Ivory had more time to do things she enjoyed as well. They were really making this 'living together' thing work. He'd been nervous about it at first, but it was working out and he was falling more in love with the lynx every day. She was too good for him and he knew it. She deserved better.
Levi chuckled at his girlfriend's words. "Hmmm. I can think of some other things I want, but topping the list is definitely my girlfriend." What else? Food - specifically salmon. A cabin out in the middle of nowhere. A motorcycle - they always seemed cooler than a car or the bus. Ugh. He hated the bus. "What? Is there something wrong with me putting the most wonderful lynx in the world at the top of my list?" he asked innocently. He held her in his arms, enjoying the closeness of his girlfriend as he looked over her shoulder at the fish. "Mmmm. And that's smelling wonderful, my love," he teased, finally letting go of her.
"I ask for that every day," he agreed with a long sigh. Levi always looked older and more tired in the city. Maybe it was the lighting or maybe it was his soul and joy leaving his body. He just felt so... so... confined. So irritated and trapped. He wanted a cabin in the woods with his girlfriend and maybe a few children one day. Of course, their children would be just as self sufficient as their parents. They would learn to respect nature and how to live off the grid. Hopefully they'd never end up trapped in the city against their will like their parents had. Levi hated it here and would've left by now if he didn't have Ivory. He could spend some time on the streets until he could afford a cabin, but his girlfriend deserved a roof over her head until they could achieve their dreams.
Levi watched her leave the kitchen with a plate of fish and raised an eyebrow as he took a seat on his special chair. He tore into the fish with his teeth. While he knew how to eat politely around others, he ate like... well, an animal when it was just him and Ivory. "You can win a hunting game while eating?" he asked. He didn't have an animal form like his girlfriend did, so he had to rely on actual hunting. Guns. Now and arrow if he was feeling fancy. Shooting was his specialty. "I'd say I have the edge when it comes to shooting," he argued, his words muffled by the fish in his mouth as he spoke. "But go ahead!" he gestured towards the game as he continued to eat, passing on the silverware and only using his hands and mouth.

Kira Baker-Adams Human
Cas grinned when Perce agreed that he'd need to take it easy on his stepfather. "One day you can be like me," Cas promised with a laugh. The child seemed amused that the older man (and his mother) couldn't always keep up with him. But that was okay. He still enjoyed playing with Perce. "Fiiiine," he groaned. He sat down on the blanket, setting his football in his lap as he watched Perce set out the food.
"See? Isn't this a nice little family picnic? Especially now that my son is actually sitting still for once in his life?" she asked, sending a teasing look to her son.
Cas shrugged, reaching for some food with his dirty hands. "Perce is right. I didn't get dirty. The dirt just wants to chill on my face," he said with a second, more lazy, shrug.
"Hey, we don't need that kind of defense, Perce," Kira argued with a laugh. She reached over with her napkin to wipe the dirt from her son's face before grabbing one of the plates tucked into the bottom of the basket. She handed one to Cas, knowing he would only eat with his hands if given the option. He was a handful and Kira was glad to have Perce by her side as they attempted to raise the little monster together.
(Don't worry! Sorry this is awkward and weird)

McKenna Blake Type 2 hybrid (macaw x crested penguin)
McKenna had never really been called a genius. She was smart enough, but not overly intelligent. In fact, she'd always worried more about music than an education and had simply sailed through school with decent grades. Hearing Oberon call her a genius brought a gentle chuckle to her lips.
"At least someone thinks so, Obie," she said, leaning over to give him a quick kiss... if she could get her lips between him and his sandwich.
"You store love in your brain?" she teased. "My heart is filled with my love for you. No room on my brain. That's useless skills from school and music," she said, tapping her head with a finger as if to show him what she meant by that. "And my stomach is for food," she agreed with a laugh. McKenna was a small girl, but she certainly enjoyed a good sandwich. She laughed when Oberon agreed to give her his items. "Hmmm. I guess I'm pretty okay, but that shirt you're wearing right now is really cool. I think it'd make the perfect pajamas when I inherit your belongings," she teased playfully, a smile on her lips as she watched him. She admired his expressions and even the way she moved.
She loved this man.
Her boyfriend was so dramatic and she loved it. It was obvious by the amusement dancing in her eyes that there was nowhere she'd rather be than sitting at the table with him and eating sandwiches in the apartment that they officially shared. "Hmmmm.... maybe I can take you back..." she said, seeming to consider that. "But it'll cost you... maybe a back rub?" she teased.
She perked up at the mention of video games. "That racing game?" she asked. There had been an ad for a racing video game the other day and McKenna had gone out and bought it. While the purchase had seemed stupid to her afterwards, she was glad she'd gotten the game. It was fun and they could play for hours without getting bored.

Ducky Mallard Type 1 (duck)
It was a nice day for sure, and Ducky was making her way through the park. It had been a long time since the woman had actually taken time to enjoy herself like this. She'd been so busy and stressed lately, but now everything was over with and she could actually enjoy herself. Of course, her day was made even better as she had walked by the bookstore this morning to see her very own book displayed in the front window. At one point, she'd doubted it would even be finished and now it was actually selling. There was a sense of pride that came with it for Daphne Mallard.
Of course, nobody truly called her Daphne. She'd been advised to publish under her real name, but she much preferred to be called Ducky. The name had started years ago with her father and it had just stuck. Now everyone called her Ducky. In fact, some would say that the nickname started with her great grandmother - the first Ducky Mallard - but of course the modern Ducky wasn't around that long ago. She didn't know the woman, but apparently she'd been a pretty cool person. Ducky only hoped that other people felt the same way about her. She truly did right her best to be a good person.
Enjoying her little walk through the city, Ducky eventually made her way towards the park. She enjoyed a little bit of green and that was hard to find in the city. It seemed as though everyone was worried about rushing around and efficiency. Oh boy, efficiency bothered her. Not the concept itself - it was actually quite good - but the way people sacrificed other important things for the sake of efficiency. There was less genuine human (or hybrid) interaction. Less appreciation for the world around you. People missed out on the little things and simple joys in life.
Some saw Ducky as childish when she ran through the rain and splashed in the puddles. Or the way her eyes widened when she entered a candy store. They didn't see her need for bright colors or found her collection (if one could call her few items a collection) of stuffed animals. Or the way she wanted to see the sunset and the sunrise and sometimes liked to sit and count the stars in the sky - or at least what she could see through the harsh lights of the city.
But that was Ducky.
She always made time for the park if she could. Even when she was in the process of writing and editing her book and basically locking herself away, she still emerged for a couple hours a day to simply sit and enjoy the park. Now, there wasn't an incomplete story hanging over her head and it was even easier for her to relax and wander into one of the only remaining green spaces in the city. She dodged a small cat hybrid and received an apologetic look from the mother. Ducky simply gave her a smile in return and continued on her way, fiddling with the little duck shaped bracelet on her wrist. It was a gift from her grandmother when she was born, and Ducky still wore it today. Luckily it was an adjustable size... Her wrist was much bigger now than when she was a small child.
As she was wandering through the park, she made her way towards her favorite bench. Maybe it was stupid to have a favorite bench, but she did have one. In fact, she always found herself uncomfortable when someone else was sitting there. Usually she'd go and join them, either engaging in an awkward silence with the stranger or watching them leave only moments after she arrived. Very rarely would someone actually converse with her... Wow, people just weren't as outgoing and friendly as they once were, huh?
As she approached the bench, she frowned to see someone already sitting there. He was reading - likely one that would just ignore her - so she sat down beside him and tilted her head to see the cover of his book. Oooh, that looked good-
Wait.
Ducky fought a smile as she read the title that i haven't come up with yet because titles are hard. That's why it looked good. It's your book, you idiot. She slowly raised her gaze to the man's face. "Hi," she greeted slowly, hoping he would actually talk instead of blowing her off. "Whatcha readin'?" She knew that she should introduce herself - as Ducky, not Daphne - but she was practically bouncing with excitement at the idea of talking to one of her readers... especially if he didn't know he was talking to the author of the book.
Hopefully he liked it.

OOC:MALAKAI WOLFF .IC: Kai had only known Riley for about a year, yes, but in the time he had gotten to know the girl better probably than his own sister. And he meant that. Of course, that wasn't to say that he didn't know his own sister well, just the point was that he knew Riley really well. Naturally, he knew then that she got embarrassed pretty easily. Honestly he knew that since the day they met when Kai accidentally ran into her, so it was no surprise to him that she freaked out after not getting an answer from him. Maybe she was a bit quick to respond, but was that really her fault? It was a pretty serious thing Riley had admitted after all, it would have been really hard for her to say right to him.
Malakai held her tight to him as he felt her collapse into his embrace. The poor girl, he felt horrible for freaking her out like he had, he just simply had no idea this would happen and it took him by surprise. He should really have responded sooner though, because he knew how Riley was easy to freak out sometimes.
Slowly Kai nodded, keeping his soft gaze on her beautiful blue eyes. “Process,” he repeated for the third time, smiling a little. Gently he squeezed her shoulders with both his hands. “I just didn't know what to say, that's all. It was all a little sudden,” he explained, chuckling slightly at the end of his sentence.
Kai looked into her eyes, simply staying silent for a moment until Riley spoke up, a smile spreading across her face. Thankfully the smile was contagious and soon he was wearing one much the same, if a little smaller. Slowly he shrugged, looking down for a moment. “Well to be honest I didn't expect it to happen this way, but yeah, I guess we are dating now. Though, if we were both hiding this together… Does that mean our Saturdays are technically dates?” he asked, though honestly he wasn't serious. He didn't care to be honest what they technically were, he just cared that now he supposed they were actually dating. The thought made his belly flutter in nervousness. “Well… Do you want to go somewhere tomorrow? As-as an actual date? Maybe I can stay tonight, and we can spend Sunday together?” he suggested, gaze looking into hers again as he searched for her response.

Feathertalon James to Tyse
“Really?” James questioned with a slight tilt of his head. That seemed kind of surprising is this age that there wasn’t at least a single hybrid within Tyse’s family. Anywhere you looked there was at least one hybrid around. Although, anything could happen. Tyse’s family was just a special case. There wasn’t anything wrong with being human, but in James’ experience, he knew a lot of hybrids. He even knew of some hybrids that looked down on humans for not being unique like them since humans are becoming less common. It was a good thing that he was nothing like that. Those kinds of hybrids weren’t the best people. He just gave a small shrug and continued talking. “My family is all hybrid, and most of my relatives are hybrids as well. There are a few humans here and there in my entire family though.” He commented. His entire family consisted mostly of raccoon hybrids with a few other hybrids mixed in and some humans here and there. It was a good mix.
James went to take another sip of his drink when the phone in his pocket started to ring. He set his cup down and dug out his phone. “Excuse me, for a moment.” He said to Tyse then answered the phone by pressing a button on the side rather than tapping the screen. He didn’t even need to know who it was by looking at the screen, he knew it was his parents.
“Hello?” He answered, and he was correct in assuming it was his parents as his mother responded to him. “Yeah… Mhmm… Okay, yeah, I’ll see you soon… Okay… Alright, love you. Bye.” The conversation barely lasted over a minute as he spoke to his mother and when he was done he pulled the phone away from his ear, hung up, and placed the phone back into his pocket.
“That was my parents, they got done a little early with their shopping and are on their way to get me.” James explained to Tyse, as he looked back over to him. It was too bad he had to end his conversation with the college student, but he really had to get going. He really would love to stick around and talk some more, but he couldn’t keep his parents waiting.
“Well, I had a good time talking to you. Most people just ignore me when I come to a place like this so it was nice to get to talk to someone.” James said to him with a smile that was warm and genuine. He was being honest when he said it was nice to get to talk to Tyse. He had gotten to meet someone that was around his age that he enjoyed talking with. It was nice. “I seem to come here quite often so, maybe we’ll run into each other again.” James said to him then started to stand up from the table he was sitting at. He stood up from the table, straightened out his clothes and made sure to grab his coffee cup that was on the table as well.
He looked back to Tyse one last time with a smile. “Hopefully we’ll run each other again. I’ll see ya around, have a nice day and good luck with your studies.” He said with a small wave as he started to walk away. Once he had said his final words, he turned his attention away from Tyse and to the door and then he walked out of the coffee shop.
Today had been a pretty good day so far.

𝕊’𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕖 Dakota to Nero
Dakota let out a small chuckle at the other hybrid's joke. A shifter magnet, huh? Well, that was one way to put it, and a funny way to put it at that. This boy was an amusing one, maybe he would keep him around. That is if he could. Who knew is this cat hybrid ever wanted to see him ever again after today. Although, he did agree to hang out with him in the first place, so he must be interested somewhat. He will see how things turned out after this interaction was over.
He took a quick glance back at Nero when he didn’t say any more about himself and turned the conversation back onto Dakota. There had to be more to this cat hybrid other than just who his friends were, guess he would just have to keep talking with him and gain his trust a bit more before he learned anything more about this cat boy. Yet another reason to want to keep him around. To learn more.
“Oh, I can tell you lots.” Dakota answered him, he had no problem talking about himself.
“Hmm, where to start…” He muttered to himself as he placed a finger to his lips in thought. He guessed he could start in the same place that the cat boy did. “Well for my friends, I have a few, but my best friend is Thema. She is a beauty and doesn’t even realize it. A cheetah and a blue macaw hybrid, it really is quite the combination. We gossip a lot, well mostly I gossip to her and she listens. She really is the best.
“What next, let’s see…” Dakota trailed off as he thought of his next topic. “Well, I have three other siblings that are panther hybrids just like me. I’m the second oldest, so I’m kind of stuck in the middle with my other brother. We actually get along pretty good as far as siblings go, but don’t get me wrong we certainly have our fights sometimes. I’m not the favorite of the bunch, but I’m certainly the one with the best looks.
“Continuing on. “ He said going right on to the next topic. “I live by myself currently, in an apartment that actually isn’t too far from here. I pick up a lot of odd jobs here and there, but my main job is… well, I’m a dancer of sorts.” He put simply since he couldn’t outright just say where he actually worked. He would have to save that for another conversation when they were a bit more comfortable with one another, maybe when they meet each other again. If they ever did…
Dakota continued rambling on about himself but paused for a moment and took another glance back at Nero. “Want me to keep going?” he asked the cat hybrid. He could talk about himself for hours and tell stories for days, but he didn’t want to hog the spotlight the whole time. Not everyone liked someone that talked about themselves all the time, and Nero might be one of those people that didn’t like it. He did share some pretty good things about himself, so it wouldn’t be a bad place to stop.

CreamCrow Apollo to Dixon
Apollo thought that maybe his problem would be a bit more serious by the way that he was talking about it, but this was Dixon he was talking about. He should have expected an answer like this the entire time. He let out a small sigh and leaned his chin against the palm of his hand as he listened to Dixon. He made it seem like he was dying but he was just complaining about his life. This was just how Dixon was though, with all of his dramatics.
He thought it was nice to not have a busy schedule and not have anything planned, then you didn’t have to worry about anything and you could just relax. Dixon seemed to think otherwise, with wanting all his days filled with drama and flare. All of that just seemed exhausting. He was tired enough just having to go and work a few days a week. He didn’t even know how Dixon would even gain all of these things. Did Dixon even have any adoring fans? He didn’t really think so. A boyfriend seemed like the only realistic thing to gain on the list. Dixon wasn’t a bad looking guy, he didn’t think it would be too hard for him.
Apollo rolled his eyes slightly when Dixon flung himself back as dramatically as he could in the booth seat. “Wow, all of that sounds terrible.” He said in a monotone like voice, faking his concern for his troubles. He looked back down at the menu in front of him. “Your life is fine without any of those things, don’t worry too much.” He added as he finally figured out what he wanted from the menu and closed it up.
“If I were in your shoes I wouldn’t want all of that on my plate, I would rather just sit back and relax with all that free time.” Apollo commented as he looked up at the other hybrid. Although, with the way Dixon was acting, he didn’t seem much like the relaxing type. “But, if you really want all that stuff in your life then go out and find it. I’m not going to be much help though.”

. Chip to Goose
“Okay, great! See you in a few minutes.” Chip said to him with a bright smile when he said that he would wait for her. She waved back at him as he walked off to the break room then she went back to do her job for the few minutes that she had left. She already knew that Goose would say yes to waiting for her, but he really was the best when he said that he would. It just made her happy to know that she had something to look forward too once she went on break.
But of course, she ended up with a customer as soon as her break was going to start. And of course, they had to take forever and ask her a buncha questions. She was a few minutes over by the time the customer left and someone came by and took over for her at the register. Hopefully, Goose wouldn’t mind her being a few minutes behind schedule.
She made her way back to the break room and went inside. Goose, as loyal as always, was sitting there waiting for her. He really was the best.
“Alright, I just need to grab my things and then we can go.” Chip said as she entered the room that started to make her way over to her locker. She opened it up and took a glance over at Goose and noticed he was busy on his phone playing a game. He was always playing games, and it was always something new. “What game are you playing today?” She asked curiously and listened to his answer as she grabbed her purse and her phone from her locker. Once she had her things she shut her locker and took a few steps toward the break room door as she scrolled through the notifications on her phone. “I’m ready to go whenever you are.” She commented as she glanced over at him before looking back to her phone.

Chester B. Francis Hyena and Pronghorn Hybrid Chester waited awkwardly. He could get spotted very easily down here and if someone was to confront him he would have no choice but to run and leave Pluto all alone on the boat. it seemed to take Pluto ages before she threw down the rope. He quickly climbed the rope and not so elegantly stumbled onto the boat. "Alright lets take a look around." Chester whispered. "A couple things to look out for is traps, random animals that could be shifters and the owner to this boat." Chester added with a slightly louder whisper. Chester then almost immediately heading below deck. There was a short stairway that head down a bit and ended to a pair of locked swinging doors. Each made out of thick oak and both promised a broken shoulder if one would try to shoulder it open. "This maybe a trap but it may not be, im ready to take the risks." Chester shrugged and began picking the lock with a small lock picker he had most likely stolen. In under a minute Chester pushed open the once locked Oak doors and peered into the dimly lite room. "Lets find a light-." The motion activated lights suddenly flicked to life interrupting Chester and illuminating a fully furnished kitchen with a bar. The place even had a 50 gallon tank of lobsters. Doorways lead off to more rooms all furnished and full of stuff to steal and sell, "Holy macaroni with sauce on the side we hit a jack pot today Pluto." Chester wasn't even whispering any more.

Ivory Lince iberian lynx shifter
An amused purr-laugh slipped from the lynx’s lips as she heard her boyfriend speak up. ”No, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it,” Ivory started, a sly smirk then coming to pull across her features, ”I am pretty important, huh?” Now that was just a tease, but it had been right there and she hadn’t been able to stop herself. Ivory had never been the kind of person to see herself as better than others or even cocky in the slightest. She had her flaws, but being self-prideful and arrogant were not the traits that could be held against her. Don’t get Ivory wrong, she could be cocky, but not to the point of no return. She wasn’t the type to really put herself down, either, but she wasn’t so prideful that it would be counted as a sin against her. No, there were other things held against her, but at least it wasn’t pride or arrogance. ”I have to be more important than anything else. Air, water, even this fish,” she nodded toward the salmon, ”isn’t as important as me,” she continued with a tease.
For a moment there Ivory let herself enjoy the feeling of being wrapped in her boyfriend’s embrace. It was nice, the feeling of having somebody there to hold on to her. Ivory had never really thought of herself as somebody who would get to experience a truly amazing relationship like she had with Levi, not really. It didn’t bother her a whole lot as she was still a lynx at heart and lynxes were solitary creatures, but she was more sociable than most. Yeah, she wanted to get out of this city and leave it all behind even if that meant being all alone with nobody else. Being alone didn’t bother her like it would some people, but now that she has met Levi and had gotten used to his constant company - maybe not constant since they weren’t at one another’s side 24/7 - she didn’t think she could leave the city on her own. Ivory would manage just fine, but she would long for that sense of companionship. She had accepted Levi into her personal bubble and wasn’t too keen on letting him leave. Basically if Levi ever realized that he deserved better than a weird Iberian lynx then he was going to have a hard time since Ivory was pretty set on keeping him around for the long haul.
Snapping herself back into reality and pushing aside all those mushy, gushy “I love Levi so much” thoughts the shifter made her way to where the video game was set up. Before diving into her portion of fish she gave it a quick sniff as if she totally hadn’t just cooked it herself. Come on, Ivory, you didn’t poison the fish. After a few more moments she finally took a few delicate bites, her eating habits not quite as...feral as her boyfriend’s. If she could get away with it she didn’t use spoons or forks, they felt almost too human to her. Though even still she wasn’t the cleanest or fanciest of eaters. Never had been and never will. Blame the lynx part of her for that.
A few more bites later and then wiping her hands off on her shirt, Ivory picked up one of the controllers and then turned to eye her boyfriend, flashing him a toothy grin, or would it be fangy? Anyway. ”I could totally win while eating! And doesn’t matter if you have the edge or not, I’m still gonna win.” There was a difference between shooting an actual gun and a game gun. When it came to actual guns Ivory didn’t use them all that much. She preferred hunting as an actual lynx, and if she had to go as a human then she was more likely to go with a bow than with a gun, but despite that the shifter was certain she could beat Levi at the game even with her mouth full of salmon.

Stella Bella cat shifter
There was really only one downside to being in her cat form and that was the fact that communication was limited. She could use her tail and ears to signal basic emotions like happiness, fear, and excitement but she couldn’t convey full sentences in this form with just her body. It sucked. Though this was probably one of the only times she had actually hung out with another human being - hybrid being? - and wanted to talk with them. Usually when she was around other people she would stay away unless she was begging for food. Stella liked other people, but she had learned the hard way that some people didn’t like it when cats were around. She couldn’t count how many times a human had kicked her or at her. She had even had a few hybrids do the same, though they hadn’t been other felines. But now Stella had met Moore and Mellow and she actually wanted to stick around. Mellow was cooler than Moore so she was glad she was stuck with the hare, but she wouldn’t have minded if the dog-alligator had stuck around either.
Well, either way it was just her and Mellow now. That was fine. Stella really liked Mellow. She even managed a really loud purr for the girl as she gave Stella a few pets. Man, if Stella could find somebody like Mellow every day then she would for sure be living the life. Though if she found somebody to always talk to then that meant she would have to stay in her human form a lot more than what she wanted to. She enjoyed being a cat way more than being a human; cat bodies were easier to get around in than some grimy human suit. The only pro to being a human was talking to people like Mellow. … Should she go back to being a human? Just to talk with the snow hare? It would be a good idea, and Stella thought Mellow was definitely cool enough to be a human for. So maybe, just maybe.
However, before the tortoiseshell could make a final decision her excitement got the better of her. At Mellow’s mentioning of blowing up a city or crashing a party, Stella felt too excited to give anymore thought to her problem at hand, er, paw. An excited meow slipped from her tongue, her feline way of telling her newfound friend that she really, really, really wanted to go and crash a party or burn down the city. Then, without giving it any thought she turned to bound off, not sure where any exits were at all, but she was determined to find a party or burn down the city, whichever happened first.

Tyse Crux human
All of this was really interesting, learning about this hybrid and his own family. Or rather, learning about the hybrid and human blood that was part of his family line. Tyse and his family was nothing but human, pretty boring in today’s world really. Of course he had interacted with a lot of hybrids, especially ever since coming to the city for college. There had never been a whole lot back in his hometown, which was somewhat odd considering how his hometown wasn’t too far from here. Well, he didn’t consider three hours all that far, now when some people would drive days or something to get here. A lot of the hybrids he had ever ran into had been here in the city, and he quite liked them even if some seemed like they’d rather be hit by a semi truck than speak with a normal, boring human. In smaller towns it was the opposite - humans thinking they were superior. Honestly Tyse didn’t see anybody as superior over the other. Maybe their DNA was slightly different, but at the end of the day they were all just people, some with added limbs or whatnot. He didn’t understand the whole “I’m superior over you” thing. But anyway.
Having thoroughly enjoyed his conversation with James, Tyse felt a bit saddened when he realized that the raccoon’s parents were calling him to let him know it was time to leave. Maybe they would get to meet up again at some other time. It would be nice to have another friend. James was a really interesting person, at least to Tyse, and he would love to get to know the hybrid more.
The human couldn’t stop it when a small smile spread across his face as James mentioned wanting to meet up again at some later date as well. That was good. This was good. It meant the other guy wanted to try and work out an actual friendship as well. ”Yeah, I’d love to try and hang out some other time as well. Maybe I’ll see you around.” The college student was going to stay at the cafe for a little longer, do a bit more reading and then clean up his papers, but he kept in mind that James frequented the place. Tyse would start bringing his studying over here more often then. The more he was here the more likely it was he would run into the raccoon again.
Right as James was leaving Tyse called out a quick, ”Thanks. You have a good rest of your day as well.” As for his day, well, it would probably be uneventful, but that was okay. An uneventful rest of the day was a-okay with Tyse.

I was thinking of using Cody Capps. I don't have his form on here but if you look on the Character-Floods on discord and scroll up, he's there. Or if you'd like I can just send it to you. ^^.)

Well,Nora is a bit reclusive, but she isnt trying to hide herself. She tries to be all serious all the time but thats mainly a shield so people dont think she's sorry for herself, even though she has a whole bunch of emotions about her situation, she just doesnt know how to interpret them. )
Sorry if that didnt make much sense, lol, but Cody looks interesting if thats who you decide to use)

I get what you mean! She sounds like fun, I do think Cody would be good for her actually. ^^ Aaalso I'm going to start writing, but I was wondering, how, or where more like, do you think it would be likely for them to meet and get talking? Maybe do you think the park, library, a cafe or just the street? And perhaps would he accidentally knock or run into her, or she catches him staring and tells him off or something? Just for ideas.)
