FALLOUTS
This image belongs to Wikimedia and I stake no claim on it nor do I intend to use it for purposes that would infringe on copyrights. I just wanted to make this look cool!
In an attempt to study the effects of radiation on humans that were exposed to continuous amounts, scientists built a laboratory that could sufficiently sustain itself, like a self-contained city, and experimented on young infants by exposing them to radioactive iodine. Many died but a select few survived to grow into young children and teens that possess abilities beyond which the scientists never imagined. These children have never experienced life. They have been confined to their small level of the building all their lives, acting as lab rats for the scientists to study. They've never seen the sky or felt the grass under their toes.
The scientists took their freedom and made them freaks of nature. They've been kind enough, never inherently mean or cruel, just not loving or fair. They have fed them, clothed them and some of the scientists even named a few, though the names are just for show and they aren't spoken during testing. Mostly, they named themselves.
We named ourselves.
My name is Rysa. I've been here for as long as I can remember and I hate it. I hate these walls, I hate the food, I hate the scientists and their stupid, smug faces. They aren't like us. They can't do the things we can do. They've had us for so long that they've forgotten; they've forgotten who we are and what we want.
Well, hear it from me:
We are the Fallouts and we want out.

To keep this rp from getting too crazy, there are fifteen spots open for Fallout characters, not including mine, and a few for the main positions of power in the lab. The scientists/grunts themselves will be NPCs most likely because that'll make posts way easier if we don't have to worry about godmodding the scientists. Note: the positions of power in the lab are the only scientists who AREN'T NPCs. I know that seems obvious, but I wanted to make sure I said it.
RULES: there are a few
1. Follow the forum rules
1.5: be nice to people
2. no mary-sues or gary-stues
3. No godmodding OR powerplaying. like I know these guys have powers, but all of these powers have drawbacks and side effects. These characters, while enhanced, aren't invincible.
4. No killing off someone else's character unless they say you can. ALSO, you CAN kill NPC scientists, but keep in mind that if your char does that, they'll probably be punished for it.
5. This rp is in 3rd person, despite my little blurb with Rysa up there.
6. No restrictions on character preferences. LGBT characters welcome
7. I'm pretty chill about activity. Just be on once a week or so.
8. POSTS: must be about three sentences per, preferably more, but it's not required.
TO JOIN:
I hate forms. Just tell me the age of the character (around 6-17), their name, gender, whether they're a Fallout or a Scientist and what power they have. Appearances and personality can be described in the actual roleplaying.
CHARACTERS: 4/15
Screen name: Hawki || Rysa || female | 15 | super speed (drawbacks: Rysa gets exhausted easily if she uses her superspeed and she'll often crash into walls or injure her feet even if she has shoes on)
Screenname: valkoinenleuka || Valkoinen || female | 17 | strength (drawback: Aggression and impaired judgement)
Screenname: valkoinenleuka || Mikael || male | 16 | healing (drawback: exhausting)
screenname: petewentztheemogod || Mikey || 17 || Male || powers over fire (drawbacks: he can get very violent with his power, and his body heats up whether he likes it or not and if he uses too much, he gets burned. Badly.)
Screen name: LiliesoftheDawn || Aria || female || 16 || Aria's power is destruction. She can choose to turn anything into dust. However, it takes pretty large amounts of energy to destroy anything larger than her own hand and she must be touching it with bare skin. Plus, she has pretty bad control over it and is terrified of touching anything living, because she might lose control.
