(Honeypaw is open.) Honeypaw sat in the clearing, her eyes half-closed and her tail wrapping neatly around her. She daydreamed about catching thousands of mice in an unfamiliar forest.

“Pretty good, I guess,” Emberstorm replied, glad to have something to talk about to distract her from the rain. “I mean, the Clan’s doing pretty well, especially since it’s so new.” She looked at Pineflame. “How’d you find DoveClan?” she asked curiously.

Even though it was raining, Honeypaw was happy to sit it the rain. Honeypaw yawned, water flowing into her muzzle. Now, when I want water, I can open my mouth! thought Honeypaw.

Tigerpaw noticed Honeypaw sitting in the rain. He didn’t mind water all that much, so he ran over to her. “Hey Honeypaw!” he meowed.

"Hello, Tigerpaw!" responded Honeypaw. "I love this rain. Don't you?" She said. (My dad said I gtg in 5 minutes)

( okay )
Tigerpaw shrugged. “Sort of. It’s nice but it seems like a lot of cats don’t like it,” he replied, looking around and seeing how few cats hadn’t taken shelter from the rain.

"I was a rogue." Pineflame meowed. "Dovestar saved me from a fox attack." He admitted.

Autumnpaw’s eyes grew sad at Firepaw’s statement. “I’m sure he hasn’t forgotten about you!” The she car insisted, nuzzling him in a caring manner.

Emberstorm nodded. "So you were a rogue too," she said quietly, a part of her wishing she hadn't brought up the past at all. It was making her think of her own life as a rogue, which she prefered not to think about.

Firepaw shook his head, "it doesn't matter." He murmured.
Pineflame nodded, "I was all alone as a rogue. My mother gave birth in a harsh leafbare and my siblings didn't survive. My father was never around and my mother died from greencough when I was 7 moons old."

"That... really sounds terrible. I'm sorry that all that happened to you," Emberstorm said sincerly, wrapping her tail around Pineflame to comfort him. "I know what it's like to be all alone out there, it's horrible."

(Okay, got it.) "I'm sure it's just us out here." Honeypaw replied, watching the rain. "It's nice, though." She mewed.

Tigerpaw nodded. He opened his mouth to catch some of the raindrops. "Rain isn't really that bad. I bet more cats would like it if they gave it a chance."

"True," she responded, not taking her eyes off the gray clouds. "They should try to at least soak their fur.".

Tigerpaw followed Honeypaw's gaze to the dark clouds above. The rain was nice, cooling, relaxing... but the dark clouds were another story. Forboding, mysterious, unpredictable, even dangerous. "It's not going to start, you know, thunder and lighting, right?" he asked.

"I have a feeling it will start thundering, but I'm not sure about the lightning." She said slowly, as if she were focusing on the clouds more than what she said. Her tail flicked with doubt, but she didn't show her doubt of thunder nor lightning.

“Well, do you want to go for a hunt or something? Since neither of our mentors are clearly going to need us today?” She mewed, using her paw to draw in the dirt. She was bored and wanted to go on an adventure.

Tigerpaw nodded. "Thunder's not that bad. But lightning on the other hand..." he looked at the sky uncertainly. "Lightning could kill a cat."

"Lightning causes fires, too. If they were cats, I would rather meet Thunder than Lightning." She stated, looking thoughtful. "Rain is better than the two. It brings water and cleans our fur.".

Eagletalon walked into camp and looked around. He makes his way over to the leader's den and places a flower near the entrance.

Dovestar exited her den a short time after Eagletalon had left and purred when she saw the flower. She knew it was from her mate and would have to remember to thank him when she saw him.

After hearing Skunktail’s repsonse, Ashheart turned to the east and nodded in agreement. “Yeah, I smell them too. Let’s go that way.” He excitedly ran off in the direction of the mice.
“Oh. I guess that makes sense,” Emberstorm admitted. She figured there wasn’t really a place in the camp that was safe from everything, so at least the nursery was the most safe overall.
Skunktail nodded, dropping into a hunters crouch and stalking in the direction of the mice. Keeping his slightly above the ground to keep from making noise he could hear the small rodents scurrying around close by.

Ashheart followed Skunktail's lead and also dropped to a hunting crouch. He could hear and see the mice but he wasn't sure of what to do, because he knew that if he caught one the others would be scared away.
