SnowingLight nodded quickly, stepping closer to the tom so she could make sure he didn't fall but also make sure she didn't fall into any snow banks and such. Her eyes searched the horizon and she took a deep breath, letting the freezing air fill her lungs.

((Alright then. I'll begin.))
"Finally, we're here.." Scatterflight mumbled, his thin form shivering intensely as he quickly limped into the small tunnel of the cave. Immediately he was graced by a difference in temperature, something he greatly appreciated since he felt as if he was two minutes from freezing to death; the warmth seeped into his body and renewed a bit of energy, causing his sluggish padding to become a series of excited hops. He followed the tunnel until it opened into a cave, one that was shining brightly despite only having a small ray of moonlight breaching it. "This is where we speak with StarClan. The closest thing we have to a name is Starstones," He moved over to the crystals protruding from the wall of the cave, gazing over them prior to laying beside them, careful to keep a good distance away from the sharpened points. He turned his head to the she-cat and watched her, almost hoping that she'd lay beside him so he could be given the extra warmth.

SnowingLight nodded slowly and padded forward. "So... do I speak with them alone and you just wait or... how does this go?" She was beginning to feel nervous, her fur prickling.

"To be honest, I'm not entirely sure. I've never done this before, Oakfall was the one to bring Flurrystar here for his nine lives. I may be there too, but maybe not. It's best to just head into it without thinking too much, because then you won't be able to sleep- and sleeping is a vital part of this." The medicine cat found himself rambling as he spoke, his own nerves beginning to show themselves now that he had time to think.

SnowingLight took a deep breath, willing her fur to lie flat as she padded up to the stones and seated herself beside them. "Well... lets go ahead and do this shall we?" With that she touched her nose to the crystal and was immediately swept away into sleep. After a few moments she opened her eyes to see at she was in a starry clearing, trees rising up on all sides with bright mist floating between their trunks. She turned around and around but saw no one for now.

((Oooh, I'm excited I love new plot ideas))
Scatterflight drifted off after Snowinglight had done so, not joining her in her ceremony but being brought to a separate part of StarClan, one where he could visit with his former Clanmates; forest cats, of course, from the Clan he lived in previous.
--
"Welcome." A large tom slowly padded slowly forward, seeming to materialize from thin air as he approached, muscles beneath his pelt visible with each step. He was heavily scarred and bore only one eye, the other heavily marred and sealed shut. He stopped a short distance in front of the she-cat, his steady amber gaze focused on her. He flicked his tail, wanting to speak briefly before giving her the life he was meant to. "You may not remember me, as you were still young when I led the Clan, and my time was up before I truly saw who you were; I have watched over you since you became deputy, to assess what your intentions were. Snowinglight, I see great potential in you, and I could not be more proud to have a cat like you lead BlizzardClan. You are true in heart and you have the ability to make this Clan not only survive, but thrive. My son chose well when he selected you as his deputy."

SnowingLight looked at the tom for a while before realization dawned in her eyes. "You're HawkStar. You're the father of FlurryStar and WinterWolf. You had two, very wonderful sons. I couldn't be prouder or... more scared... to be walking in not only yours but FlurryStar's paw print as well." Her eyes shone with knowing. She hadn't been that old when HawkStar was lost but the few memories she did have of the tom seemed to burn brighter now, filling her with a sense of strength.

Hawkstar emitted a low, rumbling purr when Snowinglight recognized him, pleased that he had left an impression on her even while she was young. "I am here to give you your first life, and I will warn you that it can be painful. You must endure for your Clan, you will be much stronger for it." Deciding that now was the right time, the tom lowered his head and touched his nose to the she-cat's head. "With this life, I give you dedication. Know that everything you will do is for the good of your Clan and the cats living within it. You will sacrifice much for them, but nothing will bring you more satisfaction."

SnowingLight tensed, her jaws clenching together as fierce, undaunting pain raced through her. he gasped when the pain ebbed, not having realized that she had been holding her breath. The pain was now nothing more than a warmth in her chest and she knew she would do what t takes to protect her clan
--
The next cat to pad forward was pale brown, the youngest out of the ones SnowingLight would see in the coming moments. Her different colored eyes shone with happiness and it looked as if she was trying desperately not to explode with excitement at seeing SnowingLight

Hawkstar stepped back, dipping his head to the she-cat and moving to sit down a fair distance away from the two.
"Hazelpaw," Snowinglight breathed, her excitement mirroring that of her late sister's. She kept herself firmly in place as she waited, not wanting to somehow disrupt the ceremony or something of the like. Even so, she desired to race forward and press against the she-cat, having missed her more than anyone could imagine. "It's so good to see you." She managed, voice quiet and close to breaking. (I hope this is alright? I don't want her to be out of character)

Perfect! She was really attached to her sister after all))
HazelPaw purred lightly as she stopped in front of her sister. "It's good to see you as well SnowingLight. I've missed you even though I'm able to look down on you everyday." The she-at then stretched her neck out and touched her nose to her sister's. "With this life, I give you happiness. Even in the darkest of times there will always be something to smile about. An that one thing, could lead to hope and happiness for all, after all, the two things are greatly connected."

Okok I'm glad!))
Snowinglight eagerly met the touch and closed her eyes, too overjoyed to truly prepare herself for the pain. Agony twisted in her chest and she clenched her teeth to hold in a cry, claws digging into the dirt only to loosen after a moment; there was an echo of the happiness she felt upon seeing Hazelpaw, but doubled, warming her and soon overwhelming the pain. It became a dull ache and she relaxed, opening her eyes once more and looking at her littermate, desperately wanting her to stay.

HazelPaw laughed lightly and nuzzled her sister before padding off and seating herself beside HawkStar.

SnowingLight looked at her sister for a few more moments before gazing around, wondering who she would see next.

A young calico she-cat wasted no time bounding up, nuzzling Snowinglight affectionately and purring, nearly forgetting why she had been there in the first place. "It's so good to see you! Well, talk to you, I've been seeing you this whole time, just from here while you're there-" She was interrupted from her excited ramblings by Hawkstar, who murmured a 'Berrytrot' in a warning manner, attempting to get the she-cat back on track. "Sorry, sorry." She laughed lightly, shaking out her fur and pressing his nose to Snowinglight's. "With this life, I give you compassion. Use it to help those that are in need- you never know what friends you can make when given the chance." Her eyes glimmered as she finished speaking.

SnowingLight was bent over with joy to see her old friend. Like had been slow and empty without the she-cat. The life that now soared through her was piercing hot but had a subtle gentleness to it and SnowingLight felt her heart prick slightly, love coming back into her.

You should totally help with my new clan!!!!!))
The next cat to pad up was graceful. Her eyes showing years of knowledge though still having an adventurous spark in the. Her white fur shone even brighter and her two black spots looked like bottomless holes as she padded to her daughter, a smile gracing her features.

((What would you need help with? : o ))
Berrytrot wanted to linger spend time with her friend but once she saw the next cat, she knew her time was done. She quickly trotted over to sit with Hawkstar and Hazelpaw, settling down to watch the rest of the ceremony.
The next cat had Snowinglight's eyes as round as saucers, her surprise matched only by her admiration and anticipation. She had never met the she-cat before her but was immediately aware of who she was; she'd know her mother anywhere. Hesitantly she took a few steps forward, her emotions whirling as Moonpearl's scent invaded her senses. The last time she'd had any trace of her mother it'd been a fading scent in the nursery, one dismally mixed with death but still recognizable. She found that she couldn't say anything, simply standing and staring at the cat before her.

pm me and I'll tell you my idea))
MoonPearl dipped her head but tears were started to surface in her eyes. "Hello dear. I'm sorry I wasn't strong enough to stay with you. Tough I can tell that you do recognize me." She laughed lightly. "I am so proud of you SnowingLight. You know... I named you SnowingKit before I died because the last thing that crossed my memories was the day I found out I was expecting. The snow was falling that day and when they told me a snow flake landed on my nose. It startled e greatly. I was sitting by some hazel which is how your sister was named." The she-cat now stepped forward and touched her nose to her daughters. "With this life I give you a mother love. Use it well to love your whole clan as your own and then, and only then, will you b able to do whatever it takes to protect them all."

((Okok))
Snowinglight opened her mouth to speak but was cut off by the pain of the life, her body shaking like a leaf in a windstorm from how intense this one was. Beneath it was a fierce and undying desire to protect, to do anything she had to in order to protect her Clan from harm, to cut through any enemy and overcome every obstacle. She was left breathless when it ebbed away but with energy renewed, her determination became firmer than it had ever been. Before Moonpearl could walk away she pressed herself into the soft white fur, closing her eyes and inhaling her scent.
A lithe, short-furred she-cat slowly made her way forward, posture and gait full of authority and a sense of pride; a cat who would clearly bend to no one's will, stand down from no fight. She waited patiently for the two to be done, her emerald gaze as sharp as holly leaves. Stormbelly held respect for them both, so would allow them all the time they desired.

SnowingLight finally stepped back after a few moments and watched sadly as her mother padded to the other cats. She then turned and sense of warmth filled her t the sight of her mentor. "StormBelly. It's go great to see you. I'm sorry I couldn't do anything to prevent your death."

"Nothing could have prevented my death. StarClan chose it to be my time so Flurrystar could take my place." She spoke curtly, though her eyes softened and held warmth for the she-cat she mentored. "You can become the great leader I never was. I'm proud of you." Her sentences were short but they held meaning; she often had trouble expressing emotion toward others, so this was truly the best she could do. She touched noses with Snowinglight, the action reminiscent of when she was assigned to mentor the younger cat. "With this life, I give you justice. Know the difference between right and wrong, follow the warrior code and don't be frightened when it comes to punishing those who break it. You hold great influence, so make sure to guide other cats down the right path."

SnowingLight felt warmth but at the same time fury and uncertainty rush through her. She then understood that making the right choice could lead to many emotions coming to the surface at once. The life left her dazed and she watched numbly as her old mentor padded away to the others.
The next cat to pad forward was a yellow tom. He looked unlike most BlizzardClan cats, is fur very short and glistening brightly. He nodded to BerryTrot as she padded away before gazing at SnowingLight, only his eyes showing how proud he was of her.

Stormbelly flicked her tail at the passing tom, barely acknowledging him due to an old grudge she had against him. She had feelings for him back when they were still living but he had chosen Moonpearl over her. Not that it was something to be angry over, she simply was no longer fond of him. She sat down beside Hawkstar, head held high and posture straight.
"Sunswallow!" Snowinglight purred, approaching her father and pressing against him, breathing in his scent and relaxing due to the comfort it brought her. "I've missed you so much.. Not having you around has been one of the hardest things I've had to live with." Her father had been the longest living relative she had, and so the one she'd grown most attached to. His death had been devastating and sudden, leaving her without closure and a hole in her heart that was nearly impossible to fill. She met his gaze, emotions flaring when she recognized that his expression held pride, something that made her heart swell with affection and honor.

SunSwallow nodded and took a step back. "Come on now. Remember to not let your emotions get ahead of you." He smiled despite his words and stepped forward, touching his nose to his daughter's like he normally did when greeting her while he was living. "With this life, I give you bravery. Use it to stand firm in even the most frightening situations and, use it when you need the courage to step down from a battle that is not worth fighting.

Snowinglight accepted this life eagerly, already prepared for the pain it would bring and so enduring it much better than she had her last few. She felt a burning in her chest, something that made her feel as if she could handle any obstacle the world threw at her and stand up against any fear she had before; even now she had lost the anxiety revolving around receiving these lives, looking forward to the next one. "Thank you, Sunswallow." She held her father's gaze, wanting him to know just how thankful she was- not only for the life, but for this chance to see him again.
Oakfall approached slowly, her whiskers twitching in excitement for when she would get her own turn to speak. She wasn't well acquainted with the she-cat but she had been there for her kitting, watched her grow up, treated wounds whenever she got them. She was also there when Moonpearl and Hazelpaw died- one could say that she was a quiet observer to Snowinglight's life.
