I am almost always looking for new roleplay partners, and so this thread comes as no surprise. Due to the sheer amount of these threads that I end up making, I'll try to cut to the chase quickly.
Things to know about me:
What I'm looking for:
I do not expect you to be hugely active, as I'm not. Once or twice a week is entirely fine by me, and I won't push for replies - nor will I hunt you down if you decide to drop the roleplay. I won't pressure you; so please, please do not pressure me, as this will make me far more likely to never respond. I am prone to taking a while, and just because I haven't responded for a week or two (or even three) doesn't mean I've dropped. But if you decide to pressure me? I will probably drop, and so I understand if you feel like dropping.
I have Discord available for potential chatting, if that's your thing.
Though I do not have any current plot ideas, I'm down for brainstorming and there's some vague plot ideas I might have floating around. Please do not leave all the plotting to me, though.
Things to know about me:
- I write anywhere from 300 to 2000 words, depending on the responses I'm given and the plot. I will admit that I prefer to stay around the 500/600 range, thus meaning a good few paragraphs is generally what keeps my interest.
- Generally, I can be relatively uncomfortable roleplaying teenagers unless the plot is interesting. I'm better at it in larger-scale roleplays, but my usual age-range of original characters is around 24 and up. Most of my characters are in their thirties, though I'm relatively flexible all things considered. I've just found that this age range gives space to have a skilled character (that makes sense) who also has plenty to learn, making it more interesting for me to write.
- My preferred genres are crime and drama. I don't think I really feel like doing sci-fi, though if it's a good plot, I'm usually down for anything.
- I will do fandom-based roleplays, but I won't list everything I'm into as that would be a long list. You could ask to see if I'm into something, if you have a plot for it or you have an urge to roleplay it.
What I'm looking for:
- Someone who's willing to write 300+ words, who tries to keep up interaction points and who's willing to help push things along instead of playing a completely passive role.
- The drive to try to develop characters, as most plots are often character-based and as such, it makes for interesting development for a character who isn't immediately good at everything ever, who has things to learn (even if they don't think so).
- Willingness to brainstorm and plot, and discuss potential plot ideas to keep something going - and to ensure that neither of us are godmodding/powerplaying, and the like.
- ??? Whatever you wanna put here. I just wanted four bullet points to look like I knew what I was talking about.
