What is your opinion on this book?
Personally, I think it was the worst ebook. The plot was too rushed and all over the place, and it tried to throw too much information at us in a short amount of pages. The characters had no development either. Goosefeather's reason for hating Stormtail was so forced and could have been done better. His reason for being a medicine cat so early makes no sense, either. Not to mention, random cameos from old cats (Pearnose, Mapleshade, etc) added nothing to the plot and just took up space that could have been used for other things. And the ending was terrible.
I just did not like it whatsoever. It could have been done a lot better.

It could have been a super edition instead. I agree that Vicky tried to cram information in that was not very fleshed out, due to how short of a word count a novella is.

Should have been a super edition. It felt very rushed.

Is it bad that I can't even remember anything that happened in Goosefeather's Curse???

I liked it but it could have been written better.

I do not hate Vicky, but I'm just not fond of her writing quality at all. Especially since she tried to justify Mapleshade and Ashfur. Just.. no. I say her best ones were the first few ebooks like Hollyleaf's Story and Dovewing's Silence. Even Leafpool's Wish was okay. But the quality went downhill when she started to write about villains. Tigerclaw's Fury was fine, but she didn't need to add Mapleshade in there.

Honestly, it was good, but it felt rushed and would've been much better as a super edition. I think that they should have elaborated on his "curse". Personally, I think its a really cool power tho...

I really liked the plot, and would have preferred to see it more fleshed out in a super edition.

Goosefeather's Curse introduced a few very interesting concepts but due to it being a novella it was all too rushed. It really should have been a SE. Goosefeather's power, his curse, the fact that dead cats walk among the living, etc. was all very interesting and I would love to know more about it.
Also, Goosefeather and his curse kinda reminded me of Cassandra and her curse.

It was really rushed, and I also don't remember them saying anything in BP about The Great Hunger. Yes, these books came out years apart, but we're just adding more continuity errors onto the pile.

Good story but extremely rushed. Should have been a full fledged SE
