God, I have a love/hate relationship with this feeling I've got. You know when you're full of ideas, and you know they'll go away, so you wanna use em while you got em? That's me right now.
But I have a fun idea for a world to do! Perhaps someone else might be interested to try it out with me?

(Alright, so the idea goes as follows.) (It's a completely different plane of reality. The universe is fixed and paradoxical in some ways. Most supremely, 'space' as we know it is completely filled with matter. Mostly oxygen, nitrogen, etc, just like Earth's. Only, this means there's no planets, yeah? Instead, there are floating dwarves, which have a property to which they kind of 'nudge' the stray gases of space aside, floating around peaceably. Some are as small as a single mountain, others are 1500~ miles in diameter. Approx. the size of Pluto. There are few that big though. Gravity is lessened here, of course, and science has all sorts of weird properties. The final bit of information is how stars work. Rather than their usual state, they're paradoxical; these 'stars' are super dense balls of superheated matter that are 100% stationary and produce light. Finally, they do create gravity, and thus the dwarf planets will orbit them, but here's the trick- only one side of the star creates light. So, again, paradoxical in many ways.)

(A young scientist finds himself on the brink of the scientific discovery of a lifetime, that could change the way everything is looked at, but he's hunted by the Church, as they believe it will ruin their belief of the stars being little gods, running the world. And in fact, it does, as it explains the star's behaviors as not benevolent, but instead scientific. So, he tries to find a group to support him. Happens upon someone who can protect him.)

(Ooh that makes it fun.) (Would you make another post in 1v1 off topic for us? I'm not experienced enough to make a proper looking roleplay, but you seem to know your stuff.)
