Baraz Fateen Aalasee Son of Baloo and Sergeant Friedkin
"Awh, I know, Melly." Baraz sighed, rubbing one of his big hands through his snowy-white hair. A pair of honey-golden eyes turned to regard his other best friend. Tumelo was chill and a good pal, even if she was a bit more grounded than the energetic Bala.
The large bear boy leaned back on one arm, then, his hand gesturing vaguely in the air. "I just...gotta worry sometimes, ya know? Bally wants to help the Isle kids, yeah, but what if they jus' wanna hurt her? She can wanna help 'em all she wants, but sometimes, you can' help folks that don' wanna be helped, know what I mean?" He was very, very worried about Bala's safety, most definitely. She was good and pure and kind, and horribly brave for wanting to do this in the first place, but what if one of those kids hurt her? Or upset her? A worried grumble came from the towering boy as he considered it.
If they hurt Bala, why...why...he'd hafta give 'em a good thrashin'.

Danica Rhea Fagin Daughter of Dodger and Rita
"Oooooh that absolutely tears it!" Danica didn't knock on her friend's door before she helped herself in. Tia wouldn't mind, and Tia's roommates? They'd probably understand when they found out who had earned the dog-girl's eternal ire. Yeah, she liked that word. Ire. It summed up exactly how much she hated this awful, raggedy-ass witch that decided to go and shed all over her day.
A mirror fell from the wall when she slammed open that door.
On a normal day, the Fagin girl prided herself on being cool, collected, and possessing the upper paw in most arguments and social interactions due to her chill. That chill was gone, right now. "Tia honey, are you sure we're the dogs here, and not Bella? Because she's quite possibly the biggest b-" A growl of frustration interrupted this thought, and you could almost see her hackles raise before she spoke again.
Danica fell back onto the bed of one of Tia's roommates, hands covering her face. "I'm jealous of all the people that haven't met her yet! Do you realize, Tia, how happy I'd be as a person if her mother'd actually swallowed?"

Saros Mateo Butterfly Son of Star and Marco
"Trust me, I've already apologized to Toby." Saros replied, looking almost meek about it. "...and the people who fight the fires. Although, I also told them our lamp caught on fire, not my painting. I don't need detention." He admitted, sitting down on her desk. "Again." Detention was a frequent punishment for the boy princess, whose inclination to use magic for everything rubbed the school officials the wrong way on an almost daily basis.
Something still seemed slightly off, though. Normally, mentioning his impressive collection of detention slips was a joke to the Butterfly boy. He'd swear in Spanish, then laugh it off like it was no big deal. But for this moment, the brown-haired boy simply stared at his hands, apparently thinking about something.

Beatrix Eurus Bakerstreet Daughter of Basil & Miss Kitty
Beatrix closed the case to her violin, tucking it into the corner for now as she went to close her window. Nodding along for now with Saros as he spoke. The firefighters deserved an explanation and a thank you. They did their job well. Beatrix was about to say this out loud when she noticed the more deflated tone to his voice.
Now, Beatrix wasn’t exactly that great when it came to comforting others, but she knew when something was off, and right now something was definitely off with her friend. She glanced back over at him, a question lingering on the tip of her tongue. Would Saros even want to talk to her? She knew she wasn’t exactly the comforter of the friend group. She mostly took care of the lectures and judgmental music.
Even still, the girl felt compelled to ask. ”Saros,” she started, moving to go sit on her bed by her desk, feet dangling over the edge of her bed. It wasn’t that the bed was particularly high up, she was just small. ”Are you...alright?” Beatrix asked hesitantly, looking the boy princess over. No detention jokes, no Spanish swearing. He just sat there, looking at his hands. It didn’t take Basil of Baker Street to know that something was off.
Beatrix didn’t exactly consider herself that close with anyone in her friend group, as sad as that was. In fact, there were days where she wondered if she was even in the group at all, or rather just that one kid that tagged along to make sure everyone lived to see morning. However even so, it seemed clear to her that Saros could use someone to talk to, and though she might not be his first, second, or third option. She would still listen if he needed someone, a friend, there.

Montez Rivera tragoudó son of miguel and calliope
Getting confirmation from Toby that he was fine relieved Montez. No matter how many times the fox boy got injured he always had to make sure he was okay. If anybody he knew got hurt he would go and help, it was just part of his nature. Montez had never been the type to just go on without checking to see if somebody was alright, even if it was perfectly clear that they were okay such as right now. ”Just try to be more careful, mi amigo. You don’t need to end up with a broken finger or hand.” That was an actual concern for the son of Calliope and Miguel. He knew the day would come with how accident prone Toby was, but he was still worried for that day. Montez shook those thoughts away. Now wasn’t the time to get caught up in such ruminations. He was glad for Darcy when she spoke up.
The boy rolled his eyes, snickering faintly. ”One day I’m gonna take that master title right from under your nose.” It may take months or even years, but he was ready. Montez was willing to do whatever it took to get that title. Not that Darcy wasn’t a master, but that title was pretty tempting to have.
As Darcy threw some fish crackers toward him he reached out, managing to catch a few in his hands. As for the others, well, he wasn’t that lucky. Some of Toby’s accident proneness must have rubbed off onto Montez for this, or fate wasn’t happy about him planning on taking Darcy’s name of master. At least he had been lucky enough to blink before it happened.
Before he could stop it a fish cracker landed right in his left eye. Somehow the little stinker got stuck against his eyelid. Montez jumped up, his other eye closed in instinct as he slapped a hand over his eye, trying to get it out but failing in his panic. ”Get it out, get it out, get it out!” Montez cried out, stumbling blindly around in the room. Right now the poor boy couldn’t talk about ships or the game right now, he was just too worried about getting this menacing fish cracker out of his eye.

Saros Mateo Butterfly Son of Star and Marco
At Beatrix's question, the Butterfly boy looked vaguely surprised, like he was somehow not aware that Bea was going to call him out on being moody. He kind of stared at her for a second, lost, before he finally gave her a valid answer.
"It's nothing, it's just..." Saros started, then mumbled. "Estoy nostálgico." The boy princess didn't translate, or elaborate further on that in English, and instead, asked his friend a question, looking up.
"Do you ever miss where you come from, Bea? Like...you come to school, and you start thinking about how different it is from here?" That was as close as he could get to elaborating on the point, and Saros was struck by surprise when he realized that he had no idea where his friend was from. That was mildly worrisome to him, if he was being honest. Like, he had no idea where anything in Auradon was, sure, but he didn't even know the name of her town or kingdom or whatever.

Beatrix Eurus Bakerstreet Daughter of Basil & Miss Kitty
Beatrix simply watched him as he explained...sort of. Now, Beatrix didn’t actually know Spanish. She knew French, but not Spanish. So without any sort of translation, she didn’t actually know what he said. However his demeanor combined with the question he had asked her was enough of an answer for the girl.
Saros was homesick.
Her chest ached with a small, familiar pang at the realization. She knew what that was like, though probably not to the extent that he did. Looking away, Beatrix eyed the floor of her room. ”Sometimes I do. I miss my father the most though. He might be a little eccentric, but in a good way,” Beatrix leaned back, hands grasping the edge of her bed. ”He’s my father, but he’s also my best friend. No matter how terrible the day was, he somehow always made it better,” she explained through a fond smile.
However quickly noticing she had gone on an unnecessary tangent, Beatrix cut it off there. She was here to listen to Saros, she certainly didn’t need to talk about her own life. ”I don’t miss the location so much as I do the people I left behind when I came to the school,” she finished, looking back to Saros.
The mouse girl looked him over for a few more seconds before scooting a little closer on her bed. ”It’s okay to be homesick though. Everyone gets a little homesick at least once. I’m sure Auradon City is a lot different than Mewni.” Beatrix had never been to Mewni and never actually planned on going there. From what little she had heard about it, the place seemed like a world of chaos. An interesting world of chaos, but still chaotic. It would have to be different from anywhere on Auradon. It made sense that Saros would miss his home, even if it seemed like one giant dimension of chaos and insanity to her.

Saros Mateo Butterfly Son of Star and Marco
Saros nodded in agreement, listening as Beatrix spoke about home and her father. He understood where she was coming from, after all. "I know what you mean, sort of. It's weird being somewhere and not having your family with you." They agreed on this point. He missed his father and grandmother's sensible advice, or his mother and grandfather's energetic encouragement.
But that wasn't entirely the problem.
"I miss my family, yeah, but I at least have Stella and Hex to sort of help with that." He explained, then added, "I miss how things made sense in Mewni. I know it might seem terrible to you..." A teasing grin was shot towards the painstakingly logical mouse girl. "...but to me, everything was familiar back home. It made sense. You guys are all great, don't get me wrong, but a lot of people in school..." The Bêtes, for example. "...they treat Stell and I like freaks. Which, I get. We're weird. But I was placed in Remedial Goodness because I wasn't from Auradon. I was given detention for using magic against Winslow and Ray's hellbeast the other day." It made no sense to him. "Back home, I'm responsible for protecting my people. It's why we have magic. But here, the same tool for protecting my people, my friends, is treated as evil and dangerous."
Saros sighed, leaning forward and propping his chin on his hand. "I was excited to see Auradon, but it's like almost every second here, I'm reminded that I don't belong here."

Beatrix Eurus Bakerstreet Daughter of Basil & Miss Kitty
Beatrix could only listen as Saros went on to explain how he felt. It wasn’t ever something she would truly be able to understand, seeing as how she didn’t have magic, she didn’t grow up somewhere with magic allowed, and she was certainly not a transfer from another dimension. Sure she was weird and she understood not exactly belonging anywhere. But beyond that she didn’t know what it was like to be in Saros’ shoes.
Not quite sure what to say, Beatrix shifted on her bed, fingers tapping the top of her bed covers and eyes following along the lines on the ground. ”I don’t...I don’t exactly understand what you’re going through. I really don’t, and I won’t pretend that I do. But I do know what it’s like to feel like you don’t belong somewhere, and to be thought of as weird...” Beatrix slowly brought her green eyes back up to Saros. ”The first year that I came to Auradon Prep, I didn’t know anyone here and I, well, I suppose I was a little odd.” She still was, honestly. Average and common in the most basic ways yet odd enough for people to avoid her. Odd enough to be common yet not normal. It wasn’t the same, and she knew it. However it was as close as she could get. ”The entire first year I spent here, I wished for nothing more than to go home,” she admitted.
Beatrix rested her head on the back of the wall by her bed. ”I know that’s not the same, but I just want you to know that you aren’t entirely alone. I know Auradon is strange and different, and the people here are not always...pleasant. But not everyone is like that. The way things work here might not work the best, and there’s always room for fixing. It must be hard to go from using magic so freely, to it being banned here,” Beatrix looked him over for a few moments. ”I’m sorry.”

Darcy Dollie Duck Daughter of Donald & Daisy Duck
Darcy watched as a fish cracker landed in Montez’s eye. She blinked in surprise. How often did that happen? Well you know, to anyone other than Toby. Darcy wouldn’t be surprised if he got fish crackers stuck in his eyes all the time. However this wasn’t Toby, this was Montez, and as he jumped around, clasping his hand over his eye, Darcy didn’t know whether to resist laughing, actually laugh, or be concerned. In the end the duck girl’s concern won over the need to laugh. She could laugh after she made sure he was okay.
So getting up from her bed, Darcy reached out and grabbed her dudefriend by his arms. ”Hold still Tez, I can’t help ya if you keep dancing around like that,” she told him, already trying to figure out exactly how to get the cracker out of his eye. If they were careful and did this right they could avoid a trip to the doctor. Now that would be a story to share. A fish cracker that just wouldn’t get out of a kid’s eye.
Once Darcy had a firm enough grip of his arms, still trying to get him to calm down, an idea came to her and she looked over at his eyes. ”Kay, now open up your eye and don’t blink, we’ll have that cracker out of there real fast,” she told him, frowning slightly. Usually when you threw supposedly harmless snack food at someone, you didn’t have to worry about it getting stuck in their eyes. ”Sorry for throwing fish crackers at you, Momo, didn’t think they’d get in your eyes,” she apologized, wondering if she’d have to touch his eye to pull the fish cracker out, of if they might be able to get it to fall out on it’s own. She cared about Montez and all, but she also really didn’t want to have to touch his eyeball. That would be just a little too gross for the duck girl.
Though, just for the record, she would do it if it was needed.

Tumelo Nneka Kamau Daughter of Terk & Tantor
Tumelo shook her head lightly at her friend. His worries were valid. There was a good chance that their girl Bala could get hurt over there. There was no guarantee that she wouldn’t. However Tumelo also liked to believe that Bala could take care of herself, and if she didn’t, she’d have good ol’ Basu there to watch over her. The leopon boy might be a bit uptight, but he probably knew what he was doing.
”Awh, Bare, you’re underestimating her. Bala’s more capable than you think. She can handle the Isle, and besides, she’s got other people there with her. It’s not just Bala and the Isle. There’s Basu, and Khari, and a bunch of other people too, she’ll be fine,” Tumelo told him, pocketing her phone. She’d probably have to be here, talking sense into her bear friend for awhile. Tumelo could enjoy the video again some other time. ”I think you know that though,” she added, looking back to Baraz. ”If y’didn’t, you could’ve told her to stay and she would’ve listened. Bala’s always gonna listen to you.” While it was true that Bala could be stubborn as a mule and Tumelo personally hadn’t ever been able to talk her out of something, it was easy to note the closer friendship between Baraz and Bala. Bala listened to him.
Leaning back comfortable, the relaxed elephant-gorilla girl placed her hands over her stomach, resting in the shade. ”You just gotta have a lil’ more faith in our girl. She’s got this handled, and I’m sure she’ll write, we’ll get a letter back from her soon and then you can see for yourself. She’s probably having a grand ol’ time over there,” Tumelo reassured him with ease. She trusted their friend to come back in one piece, and if she didn’t, well...
She’d just have to show the Isle what an elephant-gorilla girl could really do.

Carmelo Dorian Rivera Son of Dante & Collette
Carmelo smiled over at Berlin, swallowing down a mouthful of pizza. With a nod of his head he broke off the cookie into two halves and offered the second, bigger half over to the dog girl. ”Always happy to share my treasure,” he replied cheerfully, going back to the pizza he had been eating beforehand. ”Soap huh? Sounds like fun,” he told her sarcastically. Sure he knew soap was important, especially if you wanted to smell nice and not like a dog who had previously been rolling around in a dumpster. But soap was also just so boring. It was too bad that Berlin couldn’t be doing a commercial for something a little more exciting, like...like rollerblades. Now rollerblades were cool.
No, wait, a skateboard commercial, yeah, she should do one of those. Carmelo liked skateboards, even had one himself. Granted he didn’t use it as often as he would like to, but he still made sure to use it enough to be good on it. ”You should do a commercial for something more fun, like a skateboard, skateboards are awesome,” he told her, taking another huge bite out of his pizza slice, soon enough it would be gone.
Once the dog boy had finished off his stolen pizza, he quickly shoved his half of the cookie in his mouth. This was how he got most of his lunches. Taking one or two things from someone else’s already established meal. It wasn’t very “good” technically, and if he ever got caught he would probably be in trouble, but Carmelo left money - or whatever he could find in his pockets - behind. Surely that was good enough. ”So, when’re you supposed to do this commercial thing?” He questioned, looking over to his actress friend. Carmelo had always found filming to be interesting, though he preferred to be behind the camera. Still though, it interested him, all of it did. He was curious about this commercial Berlin was doing, even if it was about boring old soap.

Tatiana Gisela Petit Daughter of Georgette & Tito
For Tatiana Gisela Petit, today had been rather normal, and now that she finally had some time to herself, she was going to read her magazine, take a few stupid quizzes, and then maybe track down Gabby for awhile to hang out with her friend. However all that changed, at least for the moment, when Danica came fuming into her room, venting about Bella and whatever despicable thing she had done now.
Tia looked up from her bed, sprawled out on top of the fluffy pink covers, a magazine in her hands. She had been enjoying a quick quiz in the magazine when her friend had barged into her room, in such a mood that only few could get her in. With a dramatic sigh, Tia flipped the page of her magazine, peering over the top of it to look over at her cousin like friend. ”Don’t growl, Dani darling, it’s unflattering.” Though Tia really couldn’t say anything, she was a the one that frequently yelled in Spanish. That wasn’t the point here though. With a quick glance at her friend, Tia shook her head, looking back to her magazine. ”What did our dear, lovely princess do now?” Tia questioned idly.
It came to no surprise to Tia that out of all the people that had angered Danica, it was the eldest Bête princess: Bella. No offense to the girl...no wait, actually, complete offense to her, but she was more of a...ehem, ”female dog” than Tia herself was...or her mother, and that was sort of hard to beat. Now, that time she meant no offense. Her mother was a lovely person. Truly she was. However both of Tia’s parents had...high strung personalities.
Maybe that’s why Tia acted like the little diva that she was now.

Berlin Silverlake daughter of Bolt and Mittens
Berlin gave him a grateful smile before taking a bite of the cookie. It was good one, not one of those pure sugar gross tasting things Berlin had become used to. This actually had texture to it. She liked it to the least. "Mmm, much thanks to you my friend."
She took another bite before responding to Carmelo. "Oh yeah, you know soap. It's so much fun to... clean with." Her voice ended on a dry note. Her overly exaggerated unamused face quickly changed to an overly exaggeratedly amused grin. "Skateboards are much cooler. I'd be so much more willing to do a commercial for that. At least they are more fun to have, than some simple soap."
"Commerical is tomorrow, later in the evening," The dog replied after a moment of thinking about it. She had already memorized what she needed to though, but it wasn't like she had the ability to move the actual date to tonight so she could unconcern herself with it and focus on other things. "I believe if we actually get the commercial done tomorrow, not a lot of bad takes at least, the commercial itself will be released a week or two after. Y'know, editing and all."
She paused as she thought about it. The actress was glad she didn't have to deal with listening to the audio and editing the scene one million times before it would be good. Memorizing actions and words was so much easier. Not like she needed to concern herself with that. Berlin finished her half of the cookie with a mmmm.

Montez Rivera tragoudó son of miguel and calliope
Had this happened to Toby it wouldn’t have been that surprising. Odd things like getting a fish cracker stuck in an eye would have very likely happened to him, and probably had a few times before. Now as for that happening to Montez? One in a million chance. He was pretty good about avoiding accidents regardless of what they were. He had never broken a bone, had never tripped over something more than once in a day. Sure, he had sprained muscles and joints from time to time, but nothing serious. The most he had ever done was sprain his wrist and that had been the worst week of his life. He hadn’t been able to play his guitar for a week straight due to the pain and his parents keeping a close eye on him, knowing that if they left him to his own devices he’d try playing his guitar which would have only made things worse. Not even the fish cracker in the eye could be worse than that - at least he could still play without eyesight.
Montez would have continued running around like a chicken with its head cut off had Darcy not come into play. He felt her grab ahold of his arms, and before he could fully stop himself he bumped into her, stumbling back a bit, lucky to have her there to help himself regain balance. Already he found it easier to breathe now that Darcy was here. There was a certain comfort that washed over him, a particular warmth that let him know he was in good hands. He trusted the daughter of Donald and Daisy. Some would call him dumb to trust her, but he did.
A few deep breaths and some muttered curses under his breath, Montez managed to calm down. Even though he felt as calm as one could with a fish cracker stuck in their eye, his voice cracked with worry. ”You want me to open my eye? Por Dios, that’ll kill me!” He was starting to freak out again, heart racing. ”I’m too young to die, I’ve got a whole life ahead of me, Pato! If this kills me you better make me a special ofrenda with as many pictures as you can find. Let Carmelo know he’s a good boy, and I will haunt him until the day he dies if he doesn’t get back with Maya.” Instead of crazy body movements this second freak out consisted of him going on and on about what he wanted after he died, because a fish cracker touching his eye would totally kill him. If he was about to die he needed to make a last minute will, and Darcy would uphold it surely.
Some more deep breaths. He wasn’t going to die, everything would be okay. The worst case scenario would leave him with a sore eye for about two seconds. That was much better than death. Much, much better… Okay, he could do this. He could do it.
As quick as he could he opened his eye. Out of instinct he flinched back, the cracker falling away from his eye and down by his feet. Only a few crumbs had gotten in his eye and after a few blinks they were all gone. Montez sucked in a deep breath of air, relief flooding through him. He looked up at Darcy with a wide smile of triumph on his face. He had survived the man-killing fish cracker.

Darcy Dollie Duck Daughter of Donald & Daisy Duck
Darcy tried her hardest not to snicker at Montez as he made his last demands before the evil fish cracker took his life. However, the more she thought about it, the more Darcy realized just how hilarious this entire situation was. Here was Montez, who somehow, despite all odds had gotten a fish cracker stuck under his eyelid, dancing around like some crazed monkey, positive he was soon to meet his maker. It took everything in her power not to let out a quack, or a chuckle, or something.
Rolling her light blue eyes, Darcy gently whacked Montez’s arm. ”You aren’t going to die, Tez. The worst that’s gonna happen is that you won’t be able to get that cracker out of your eye on your own and I’ll have to grab it for you, and I mean, I love ya, dude, but I do not want to touch your eyeball. That’s just gross,” Darcy told him, scoffing lightly, keeping a firm grip on his arms to keep her dudefriend from continuing his weird headless chicken panic dance.
Then, just as she had hoped would happen, the cracker fell carelessly from Montez’s eye the second he opened it. The duck girl couldn’t help but let her shoulders sag in relief. For a minute there she had really been worried that she’d have to touch his eyeball in an effort to pry the snack from the gooey eye. The very thought made her shiver and recoil slightly in disgust. Thank all the gods and goddess out there that she did not have to do that. ”See? There. No big deal. You’re fine,” Darcy told him, dusting off his sleeves as she let go of his arms. ”You’re not gonna die from fish crackers today. Maybe tomorrow,” she told him, smirking slightly.
Now that it was clear that he was alright, the hilarity of the situation came back to the daughter of Donald and Daisy Duck, and without stopping herself, a loud quack filled laugh came from her. The girl just couldn’t contain her laughter any longer, as she stood there, clutching her stomach and laughing. ”Quahahahaha, you thought a fish cracker to your eye was gonna queheheh, kill you, quakakaha,” she was sure going full on duck laugh today. ”Sorry, sorry, it’s just...quakakahaha, it’s a fish cracker! Ha! Such a deadly, evil, ahaha, fish cracker, quahakaha.”

Carmelo Dorian Rivera Son of Dante & Collette
As Carmelo went about eating his own “stolen” snacks, he nodded along to Berlin. Soap definitely wasn’t the most fun thing to do a commercial for. Though, he guessed that people did need to buy soap, and this company would want their soap to be the best one out there. Didn’t mean soap commercials were any more fun though, that was for sure.
”Well, maybe the next time you do a commercial, it’ll be for something fun,” he encouraged, finishing off the last of his snacks besides the juice box. Picking it up, Carmelo looked at it for a moment. It wasn’t opened yet, and the straw was still in it’s little plastic wrap, taped to the side of the box. He had been lucky to score this one before it had even been touched. The only real problem was that Carmelo wasn’t actually that thirsty. Hungry, yes, but not thirsty. Granted he wasn’t hungry anymore, having just downed two slices of pizza, a sandwich, and half a cookie he should be good for at least a couple of hours. However he still wasn’t that thirsty.
So, doing what any good dog boy would do, Carmelo held out the juice box for his actress friend. ”Juice?” He asked her, shaking the small juice box gently in front of Berlin’s face. ”I bet you’ll do great at the commercial though,” he continued, returning to the previous topic. ”You’re really good at all that acting and stuff. You’ll be able to make even a commercial of soap sound fun,” he stated, voice dripping with conviction. Carmelo had the utmost of faith in his fellow dog’s ability to make anything sound fun. Even if it was nothing but a commercial for soap. ”You’ll have to tell me when it releases, I’ll watch it! Then I’ll go and buy some soap.” He has to support his friends after all.

Berlin Silverlake daughter of Bolt and Mittens
Berlin doubted the next commercial would be any fun. Commercials in general were boring and short, sometimes really weird. Of course, there was still the small itsy bitsy little sliver of chance that the teen would actually do a fun commercial was there. Or at least a commercial worth people's time. Perhaps soap was useful, but were commercial's even necessary for something like that? She would really rather be focusing on preparing for and actual show.
The girl looked at the juice being handed to her and nodded with delight, gladly taking it. She mumbled a "thanks." Half a cookie and some juice would amount to decent energy until Berlin decided she was hungry enough to actually eat a proper meal. She took the plastic wrapped straw and removed the plastic part of it. Then she stabbed the little sucker into the actual box before immediately taking a sip.
As she listened to her fellow dog compatriot, Berlin found herself agreeing. Carmelo was absolutely right. "You are absolutely right." With a new inspired confidence, the actress-in-making was absolutely going to make the commercial great. "I am fantastic at acting. Absolutely great. Better than a lot of people, really. I suppose there is no other choice than for me to make the commercial as entertaining as possible. Even one about soap."
"I can bring plenty of fun and life in reality, it is only expected that I will do the same for this. After all, I am simply great and awesome." She ended it there before recalling a good point. "Just like many other dogs." Perhaps it was a bit of an afterthought. "Thank you dear Carmelo for bringing this to my attention. You are a good friend."

Montez Rivera tragoudó son of miguel and calliope
If he died he was going to haunt Darcy for the rest of her life. He would go ahead and haunt Carmelo as well, just play some pranks on the dog boy from the afterlife just because he could. Probably move some of his food around and laugh as Carmelo tried to search for it, confused on as to where he could have possibly put it. Now that would be fun enough to be worth dying for. Didn’t mean he actually wanted to die, though. Montez still wanted to live a fulfilled life. ”Hopefully you won’t have to ever touch my eyeball. We get this out without a hitch and nobody is touching any eyeball. This dang fish cracker won’t even have to touch my eye.” He hoped it wouldn’t. A fish cracker touching his eyeball would probably be what would do him in.
Luckily nothing had to touch his eyeball, cracker or Darcy’s fingers. In his relief the son of Miguel and Calliope walked backwards, falling effortlessly onto his galfriend’s bed. ”Sobreviví,” he chuckled under his breath, looking up at the ceiling with a new appreciation for life. He literally could have just died right then and there, fallen by a cracker. Montez praised the gods and goddesses above that they had been watching him in that moment and looking down upon him in a moment of favor. ”I lived for another day. Maybe tomorrow something will get me, you’re right, but not today. Not today,” he huffed, feeling victorious.
When Darcy began to laugh Montez couldn’t help but laugh alongside her rather than feel annoyed or embarrassed by it all. He did manage to shoot her a quick, ”You would have thought the same if it happened to you!” It was a legitimate fear to have, but a fear that one would only realize after they had experienced it. Though, soon, he was laughing once more, his body shaking with amusement. Darcy’s odd duck laugh was quite contagious. ”Ahaha, one day you’ll have something stuck in your eye, Pato! It’s not fun, not fun at all. I’ll throw some duck feed at you and you let that get in your eye.” Not that he truly wished that upon the duck girl, but it would help her understand the situation that Montez had just survived a lot better. No pun intended, but it would help her open her eyes to situations like that.

For the life of her, Cordelia couldn't fathom Laurie's surprise. Didn't he know that she'd lived a thousand lifetimes already, had journeyed to far off lands and undergone adventures with the best of them? Tom Sawyer, Captain Ahab, Marianne Dashwood, Sherlock Holmes, Anne Shirley, Odysseus - they were all great friends of hers, really. So what if she'd only ever known them within the yellowed pages of a good book? And if she'd lived vicariously through their beings, who was to say that the fun they'd had 'wasn't real'?
"Your astonishment offends me, not-so kind sir." The brunette spoke frankly; of all the well-bred beings in Auradon, she was one of the few who didn't play the tedious game of thrones pleasantries. Lia spoke always with purpose and without apology, refusing to play small - to play the part of a lady. "You know what they say about assuming; it makes an ass out of you and me. Well, mainly you." Ruby red lips curved upwards into a smile, and Lia glanced at him over her shoulder, mood light and playful despite the harshness of her words. "You'll find, my dear Laurie, that you've come across the best Bête," Cue a wicked grin from the brunette beauty. "Blondes don't really have all the fun."
There was a bit of pep in her step as Lia carried on down the hallways, brown hair cascading behind her, bouncing against her shoulders with every movement. Were they going to find an adventure, or was an adventure going to find them? The thought was still echoing in her mind when suddenly, the brunette had an idea. She spun around quickly, too quickly, and suddenly she was almost nose-to-nose with the boy - or would have been if not for their size difference. "Tell me, Laurie...are you familiar with Hogwarts?" Asked Lia, blue gaze bouncing off the corridors before she sidestepped and brushed her fingertips against the frame of an ornate painting that hung broadly across the near wall. After a moment of searching her fingertips made purchase with a small, invisible button - the picture swung to the side, revealing a dimly lit passageway. The brunette stepped forward into the dank darkness confidently, comfortably, and threw a glance over her shoulder. "Just call me Hermione." Her words echoed out to him as she moved further into the darkness, destination in mind.

Carmelo Dorian Rivera Son of Dante & Collette
Carmelo listened quietly as Berlin gave herself a little pep talk. She was right of course, but Carmelo felt no need to add on, so instead he just plopped himself on the ground, looking up to the sky as he lied on the grass, arms stretched outwards. The dog boy let out a puff of breath, pulling some grass from the ground and idly letting go of it, watching as the grass stems flew to the ground.
”You know, Berlin, ever since those kids left for the Isle, things have kinda been boring,” he expressed, glancing back to the girl. ”Other than that incident with the Roomba and the Disaster Squad, that was great. I filmed it,” he explained, resting his head back down on the ground. ”But I mean other than that, there hasn’t been that much going on,” Carmelo fell quiet for a second or two, rolling over onto his stomach, folding his arms in front of him so he could rest his head down in his arms. ”We should find something to do...Something fun,” he muttered under his breath.
Perhaps this need for something to do had been brought on by the fact that his best friend: Montez, wasn’t with him at the time, considering Montez had that club thing with Darcy and those other people, which Carmelo would have totally gone to, had he not been banned from the club for some odd reason. Or maybe, even more than that, it came from a longing for adventure. The trip to the Isle had offered excitement and adventure to anyone that decided to go, however Carmelo had chosen to stay behind, and although he didn’t regret it, a part of him couldn’t help but wonder what he might be missing out on, over there on the Isle. ”...Got any ideas?” Carmelo asked, looking back to Berlin with wide, hopeful brown eyes.

Darcy Dollie Duck Daughter of Donald & Daisy Duck
Finally her odd duck laughter began to slow down, calming to the point where only a few random quacks left the laughing girl. Still amused, she went back over to her bed and plopped down on it, grabbing the small cup of fish crackers she had brought over for Montez before the whole cracker to the eye thing happened. ”If I ever got something stuck in my eye, you can bet that I’d take it like a champion,” she declared adamantly. ”I’d be as cool as a cucumber, I wouldn’t do some weird dance around my room, thinking I was gonna die,” she spoke with confidence, fully aware of what she was capable of. Darcy was a champion and she’s take a cracker to the eye as one.
Plucking a few of the fish crackers from the cup for herself, Darcy held what was left to Montez. ”Here Tez, feast on the friends of your enemy, revel in your victory and all that,” she told him, giving the small cup a little shake. ”I got it for you before you freaked out. You’re welcome,” she added, waiting for Montez to take the cup. She was a good galfriend at times, or at least, she could be if she wanted to be. Though if you were to ask her, she was good enough as it was.
Finally, Toby decided to speak up, having watched the whole debacle. ”Sorry about the cracker, Montez. That happened to me before, only it wasn’t a fish cracker, it was a beetle,” Toby explained nonchalantly and Darcy stared at him, brow knitting together as she wondered how in the world the fox boy had managed to get a beetle stuck in his eye.
”How are you still alive after everything you’ve dealt with, man?” Darcy asked suspiciously as she eyed the freckled boy.
Toby shrugged in response, reaching up to tug lightly on his orange hair. ”I ask myself that a lot. Like earlier today, when Saros set our room on fire and then before I knew it, I was on fire...well, my hat was anyways,” Toby explained and shrugged again. Far too causal for a guy who had been on fire just earlier that day. ”Same old, same old. I’m used to it by now,” he continued and smiled over at Darcy and Montez. ”Still though, I’m glad you’re alright, Montez.”

Stella Butterfly daughter of star and marco
With Saros gone Stella Butterfly was left to her own devices. Which, to say, was never a good thing.
She was bored out of her mind, not even Hecate was around. He was probably off messing with Raymond and Winslow or flirting with that Laurie guy, or she was sure that was flirting. Earth flirting and Mewni flirting weren’t all that different, though one involved a lot more corn than the other. Earth wasn’t as fond about corn as Mewni was for some reason. Stella had yet to figure that one out. She also had yet to figure out why people stopped her from eating grass. If anything they could stop her from eating actual grass, but nobody could stop her from eating grass flavored jelly beans. Now those things were absolutely amazing, almost better than actual grass. They were chewy and had a bit of a lime taste to them, something that Stella actually found enjoyable. Grass was better as it was, of course, much more authentic than a jelly bean and a lot of the time she was able to find stalks of mint. Though her knack for finding mint had ended up leading her to a patch of catnip growing not too far from the school in one of the many gardens that surrounded the building. To keep it simple that had been an...interesting hour and a half with the young Butterfly girl.
In her mindless wandering through the halls of Auradon Prep, Stella had found herself in the male dormitory wing, and before she knew it her feet had taken her to her brother’s room. She blinked, looking at the door for a moment. Saros wasn’t inside, she knew it, but a part of her still wanted to check and make sure. There was bound to be a slight chance that he was in there, right? Right. So as inconspicuously as she could - which, for Stella, meant a few giggles and a squeaky door - the strawberry blonde slipped inside her brother’s room which he shared with two other students - Toby Tweed and Adrian Bête. Out of those two Stella liked Toby the most, and totally not because she had a crush on him, no no. That wasn’t her reasoning at all. Okay, maybe it was, but seriously, Toby was really cute and she liked to poke his freckles. As for Adrian… He was okay. She didn’t hang out with him a lot, merely coexisted with him when she was hanging out with her brother in here. He was just one of those Bête kids that pretty much everybody told her to stay away from. Sure, he was kinda cute, but the Mewman had actually been successful in keeping herself detached from the boy. Probably because her affections lay on Toby right now.
With these thoughts in her mind she had found herself wandering around the room, stopping and paying attention to the real world around her when something caught her attention. A glint from the outside sun pulled all her interest onto one particular thing - a very elaborate and dignified looking case. The girl’s interest piqued, she couldn’t stop herself as she got down on her knees and leaned forward, opening the box only to find an equally as ornate and gorgeous violin. Amber-brown eyes glinted with that infamous curiosity that Stella Butterfly was known for.
For a while there she did what was natural and touched it. She ran her hand across the polished top, her fingers playfully picking at the strings. It was all going okay until a dumb, impulsive thought crossed her mind. I should lick it.
So, naturally, she did just that.
What ended up happening was something she had least expected. She had licked right across the strings, carelessly sliding her tongue along before everything went wrong. As soon as she tried sticking her tongue back into her mouth she realized right away that her tongue wasn’t budging. It had gotten itself stuck in-between two of the strings somehow.
An odd whine came from the girl. She shimmied around on her feet and hands, lumbering around like some mindless, wild creature, not caring about the health of the violin right now. ”Helpth, helpth!” She cried out. Stella gave up lumbering around and fell in a sitting position, grabbing the instrument with her hands and tugging at it, hurting her tongue more than anything. ”I’mth sthuck! Stharos? Thoby?” Hopefully somebody was around to help her. She was starting to think that getting her tongue free from the violin by herself was impossible.

Montez Rivera tragoudó son of miguel and calliope
Montez’s laughter echoed Darcy’s. After a few moments his own chuckles died down and he was able to pay attention to what was going on rather than focusing on his amusement. He cast a side-eyed glance toward his galfriend, chuffing at her comment. ”You think that now, but just wait. It’s hard being as ‘cool as a cucumber’,” he put the phrase into air quotes, ”when there’s a foreign object in your eye." The young man knew that Darcy was capable of a lot and was pretty tough, but when it came to having something in your eye nobody knew how they would react. Before today Montez would have thought the same as the duck girl. Now he knew differently. Having something stuck in your eye was not a fun experience, and he felt that his actions were appropriate in his position.
When given the opportunity to feast upon the friends of his enemy, he took it. Montez reached out and took the cup, taking no time to pop a few into his mouth. He rolled his eyes at Darcy as she went on with her words. She was certainly something, that was for sure.
His attention turned to Toby when the accident prone fox spoke up. He was about to say it was no big deal right when Toby mentioned he had gotten a beetle stuck in his eye. He had heard that right...right?
The son of Miguel was unable to keep the surprise out of his eyes when he turned to look at Toby. ”A beetle?” He asked. ”Seriously, how are you still alive?” He echoed Darcy’s question, sure that Toby was some sort of cursed kid that was cursed even more to survive all the awful things that life was throwing at him. From a beetle in the eye to being caught on fire, Toby was still alive. Somehow. Montez had no idea how this boy did it. How he survived was beyond him. ”Have you ever considered that you’re cursed?” Asked Montez, tilting his head to the side. It was a somewhat dumb question to ask. Curses couldn’t exist in Auradon anymore, could they? Magic was banned, it could still be used, but why would somebody curse somebody else, especially Toby? What had he ever done to get somebody to curse him anyway? Toby was a sweet boy. There was no way he was cursed. No absolute way.

Laurent Philippe Leclair Son of Lumiere & Plumette
None of which Cordelia had just said answered Laurie’s question on where they would be eating today. Instead Laurie had received an oddly playful princess, set for an adventure and calling herself some other girl’s name, one Laurie certainly didn’t recognize. It was a change of pace from the other times he had interacted with the more introverted daughter of King Adam Bête and his queen. Not that a change of pace was a bad thing, far from it in fact, Laurie easily found himself looking forward for whatever awaited the two of them. It was simply unexpected, that was all.
Though, like Lia had said, assuming things got you nowhere.
Laurie watched as Lia continued through the hallways, taking in her bouncing brown hair and her twinkling eyes. She was quite the sight to behold. Though, to be fair, all the Bêtes were fairly attractive. How could they not be? Their mother was known for her beauty, while their father...Well he was known to be a beast, but that was far from the point now. King Adam was a good ruler, he had come a long way from the beast he had been before.
Stopping when Cordelia did, Laurie watched as she revealed a secret passageway for the two of them to take, his light brown eyes widening as the picture swung to the side and Lia entered the passageway. How had he never known that was there? Imagine all the secret make out sessions he could have had if he had only known of this wonderful little secret passageway? Well, now Laurie just felt cheated.
Pushing that aside for now, the candlestick boy smiled playfully as Cordelia disappeared into the darkness, beginning to follow her inside. ”Whatever you say, Hermione,” he still had no idea who that was, but who was he to judge a possible kink of the girl’s? Laurie was rolling with it.

Tobias Vincent Tweed Son of Tod & Vixie
Toby had been quiet during the fish cracker attack on Montez. The fox felt for him, he had been there before, it sucked. Though of course, his wasn’t a fish cracker, but rather, a beetle. However there was that other time where some grass had also gotten stuck in his eye. That has been an adventure. It was a miracle he could see at all after all of the stuff his eyes had gone through. Not that it was any different than what the rest of his body had been subjected to.
Fires, death Roombas, Stella, poisonous spiders and snakes alike, all sorts of bugs and insects, broken bones, potatoes, balloons with pebbles hurtling from them at top speed, tripping over his own two feet, breaking a finger with a pillow, trees, angry squirrels, most likely Toby had faced it all. It had left the boy rather used to getting injured, being on fire, and being a little too close to things exploding. Though perhaps the most interesting thing about all of this was that he somehow survived it all, and not only that, but he seemed fairly okay after. It was both a blessing and a curse-Toby paused. Did Montez just say he could be cursed?
It wasn’t as if the thought hadn’t crossed the fox boy’s mind before. After all, one could only have so many run ins with chinchillas out for blood before you had to wonder if you were just unlucky, or if the universe itself was out to get you. However, due to the idea of him being cursed was ridiculous, Toby had dismissed it and gone on with his life, simply assuming that he was just one unlucky duck...or fox, in this case. One very unlucky, accident prone fox boy.
”I’ve thought about it,” he admitted with a causal shrug, placing the two battle ship games into their box as he put the game away. ”But magic is banned on Auradon, and I don’t know anyone that would want to curse someone, not me or anyone else,” Toby explained, picking the box up. ”Sometimes you’re just unlucky-“ just as he said that, he tripped over a stray fish cracker that had fallen to the ground and stumbled forward into the book shelf.
Toby let out a groan as he pushed himself off the shelf, placing the game alway. His nose had been smashed against the wood, but other than a nice blue bruise forming, he was alright. So, turning back around to look at the not-quite-couple couple, Toby offered both Montez and Darcy a smile. ”See?” he asked, patting the bookshelf behind him. ”Just a little unlucky.”
After he said that, Darcy leaned forward on her bed, eyeing him suspiciously for a few moments. ”That’s some serious bad luck there, my friend.”
Toby let out a little chuckle, shaking his head. ”Accidents happen, Darcy. That doesn’t mean I’m-“ right as he spoke up, the shelf broke and book after book slid down from it, each hitting Toby until finally all that was left was the battleship game. Which then also slid down and hit the son of Tod and Vixie as well, following the books. ”-cursed,” Toby finally finished, wincing from the pain that the falling books and game had caused.

Honoka Vienna Hamada Daughter of Hiro Hamada and Vanellope von Schweetz
"Go baby go!"
What was Honoka Hamada - genius in the making, robot engineer, and avid gamer doing, hiding behind a trashcan, of all things?
Why, making history, naturally.
Her uncle had revolutionized healthcare on a whole new level, her dad saved the world before from a nutcase with nanotechnology, and her mother overthre a monarchy and remained the longest running, most elected President that Sugar Rush had ever seen.
The Hamada girl had change in her blood, and she was determined to make it for the better.
Thus here she sat, crouched like an idiot behind a trashcan, whispering fierce encouragement towards a little critter that looked almost like a cross between a bean and a marshmallow.
History started with little Maxie.
He was simply a prototype, she was planning a more ergonomic design once she got all the bugs worked out of his programming, but right now, those bright brown eyes were fixed on that little marshmallow beandog like he would solve a world of problems.
And hopefully he would solve a lot of problems with this specific test run. If Barkmax could calm down Bella Bête, she'd have no trouble developing him further.
For now, she hunkered down to observe, notepad in hand.
"Hello, I am Barkmax, here to help!" The robotic pet chirped, right along with his programming. Good, good. "I am detecting a high level of the chemical, epinephrine, in your system, indicating that you are angry or stressed. Would you like a warm hug, or perhaps to get some of that negative energy out by throwing me a ball?"
"You go, Maxie!" Honoka whispered again, pumping her fist in victory from her hiding place. He was performing exactly as he'd been asked to do, and so far, this test run was running flawlessly.

Bella Bête daughter of belle and king beast
It shouldn't anger her as much as it did, but it angered her. Oh, it did more than make her angry. It made her pissed. What had he even been thinking? That he could just stand up and go to the Isle without any repercussions? As if. And what made him think that going was even a good idea? Did he want to be stuck on an island of nothing, an island where only trash went to rot? The mere thought disgusted her, made her nose wrinkle up in an unsavory fashion. What had been going through Mackenzie Charming's mind?
She shouldn't be so angry about all of this. She had broken up with him before any of this had happened, had cut it off with him after some unpleasant things had been seen by the blonde. Maybe once upon a time she had actually loved the Charming boy, but she no longer believed in true love. That wasn't a thing so why would she pretend to believe in something as foolish as that? Love wasn't real and needing to keep reminding herself of that really got her going. She shouldn't be worried over Mac, shouldn't care that he had volunteered to get himself shipped off. Yet here Bella Bête was, worked up over the whole ordeal.
Bella paused in the hallway, taking a deep breath to calm herself. She was a princess and needed to act like one. Not only was she a princess, but she was the most important one of Auradon. As the daughter of the King and Queen she had certain things to upkeep, and being regal and poised was just one out of many things she needed to be out in public; however, disgust was something she apparently could show when out in the hallways of Auradon Prep.
An odd bean shaped creature came scurrying onto her path. She looked down and scowled at it, brown-amber eyes narrowing as she looked the disgusting thing over. Angry or stressed? A warm hug? Or throwing a ball? Bella couldn't stifle back a snort of contempt at the mere thought of all those things. Crossing her arms she waved a hand. "Go on, shoo," she huffed. The princess had no time for such disgusting creatures, especially when those disgusting creatures were trying to tell her she was stressed or angry. As if. She was Bella Bête, and a Bête never felt such emotions.

Montez Rivera Tragoudó son of miguel and calliope
If Toby was cursed then who would even want to curse the poor boy? He didn’t have any known enemies on Auradon as far as Montez knew, and the enemies of his parents were all stuck on the Isle where magic didn’t even exist whereas on Auradon it did exist, it was just banned. It could still be used, however. That was a big difference between here and across the ocean. But that still left the question of who had cursed Toby, and there was also the why as well. Who and why? ”I guess you can never be sure,” Montez spoke up after a moment of thinking about things and how there were more questions asked than answers given. It was confusing and would take time to work out, but there was bound to be something out there that would let Toby know if he was truly cursed or not. Montez would have sat there and put more thought into it had Toby’s curse not acted up again.
Like earlier there was concern from Montez, but he stayed put this time, realizing that Toby was indeed fine and could recover on his own. ”Yeah, serious bad luck,” he echoed what Darcy had just said. ”I don’t know if somebody can naturally be that unlucky, zorro. I say it’s a curse.” He looked over at Darcy as if silently telling her to back him up, but it seemed like fate wanted to back him up when the shelf of all things broke. How often did a shelf break when a non-cursed person walked by it? Not many.
This time Montez got off the bed and walked over, reaching down and picking up a few of the books that had fallen, putting them into a neat pile. ”Not cursed, hmm?” He looked at the fox boy with a raised eyebrow. ”I think that bookshelf just said differently.” Montez stuck a few more books into a neat pile before asking, ”You okay this time? Maybe you should sit back, I can clean this up.” Having a bookshelf break and books fall all over you surely wasn’t a good experience. It was bound to hurt, and Toby was already bruising from his accident earlier. Maybe it was time for him to take a break before he ended up dying in Darcy’s room.

Honoka Vienna Hamada Daughter of Hiro Hamada and Vanellope von Schweetz
Honoka frowned at Bella's treatment of her son, but said nothing. Truth be told, the Hamada girl had expected something like this. Bella Bête wasn't the type to admit her faults or problems, and she doubted she'd open up to her little bean any faster than an actual human being. It was time to test Barkmax's disengage function.
Except...Maxie whirred for a second, as if he were confused.
He had a prompt to follow. "Always know I'm here to help...c'mon, Maxie." She'd programmed it after someone suggested that a patient might refuse treatment, and she couldn't force them to get help.
Beandog kept right on trucking.
"Negative emotions can sometimes cause us to react...sporadically or irrationally. Are you sure you wish to refuse?"
Okay, this was still fine. She was a high-risk patient, and Maxie's readings prompted him to try one more time. He was still following his programming, and Honoka let out a breath she'd been holding.
This was still fine. He was still doing okay.
