Hello, and welcome to the New OTD Pagans Thread. In January of 2017, Leapkit made the original OTD Pagans Thread. They have since disappeared from the forums - but the pagan community has not. That's why I'm here, recreating the thread. Anyone and everyone is welcome to converse here. Have questions about paganism? Feel free to ask! I hope you enjoy your stay.

what is paganism? The word "pagan" traditionally referred to a follower of any religion that was not one of the Abrahamic religions (Christianity, Judaism, and Islam). Frequently this meant the followers of native Earth-based religions. Today, the term is generally used to describe people who are polytheistic or pantheistic(believe in more than one god) or practice witchcraft. Paganism is the original religion of the earth. We can see through archaeological evidence that before any Abrahamic religion came into existence, most people believed in a mother goddess and a father god.
Some pagans do magic, some don't. Some are polytheistic, and some are monotheistic. Some may mix-and-match gods and goddesses of many religions. There are even pagans who believe in angels. However each pagan decides to practice and worship, we generally all carry these three pillars:
1. Respecting the Earth and the things that dwell on it. 2. That we are here to teach and learn from one another. 3. We are following the path we were meant for and honoring our deities or ourselves.
rules Respect all forum rules. Questions are always welcome! If someone has a question and they are ignorant on a subject, do not shame them or be rude to them - praise them for wanting to educate themself. Fighting and ridicule will not be tolerated. If an uncomfortable/negative situation arises within the thread, bring it to me or the site moderators.

β πππ πππππ-πππππ I had Tarot of the Silicon Dawn, which is a beautiful deck, but I got it online and never really connected to it so I gave it to my datemate, who has had a lot more success with it. Right now I just have a pocket edition of the original Rider Tarot deck, but I love it and carry it around everywhere with me. What about you?
