At least she was still good at finding stuff. Kiran Kiran took off their sneakers and socks and placed them next to Sara's drink. The teenager began walking towards the water, a feeling of happiness coming over them. They loved to swim, but it was even better with their friend there.

"Yeah." She breathed. "Me and Shadow... my sister. We always used to look for sand dollars. But then her breathing kicked in and she had to stop." Glory's eyes filled with sadness but then she shook her head and her cheeriness resurfaced. "Sorry."

"No!" She answered immediately. "I'm sorry it's just... I don't know. It's not your problem and I should try not to focus on it." She hid her sadness with a genuine grin. "Wanna go see if we can find more?"
