Not really, it doesn't have to be very long just enough to get an idea for who they were in their clan type thing

Great! Here's mine. Name: Ashbreeze Clan: ThunderClan Gender: Female Family: Will be revealed throughout RP Physical Description: Ashbreeze is a tall, skinny, and short furred smoke tabby she-cat. Her tail is extremely long along with her legs. She has large orange-yellow eyes and a constantly surprised expression due to their size. She has a build that is perfect for running, swift but not too frail. Personality: Despite her slightly graceful and delicate looks Ashbreeze is quite the tornado. She is sassy, spunky, and won't take no as an answer. She is potentially the most hotheaded cat in her Clan with that fiery ball of temper hiding underneath her good looks. At first she seems sweet enough (if not a bit bossy) but when things go wrong she won't hesitate to go into hysterics. Ashbreeze is quite the intelligent she-cat, always wanting to be a medicine cat as an apprentice until she discovered her skills in fighting and running. She was quite popular with her fellow apprentices because of her ability to tell stories. It's hard for her to open up to others because oftentimes she hides it under her bossy, sassy, and hotheaded exterior. Ack I had this saved for such a long time I copied and pasted this from my list of unused OCs so I didn't bother to shorten it, make yours as short as you want to.
P.S. A smoke cat looks like this

[ Creekfern | Tom | Medicine Cat ]
Creekfern has always wanted to contribute to his clan to the best of his abilities. As an apprentice Creekfern had always strived to the be the best at everything, and had helped out in the medicine cat den when he was free. He never planned to be a medicine cat, but after the loss of the RiverClan medicine cat apprentice he started helping out more and more to aid Mossheart. He quickly realized he liked being able to help is clan this way, and shortly after became a medicine cat apprentice. Creekfern is fairly easy going around his clan, but can be standoffish to other clan cats. He is typically only friendly towards the medicine cats in other clans, but is loyal to other clan cats that have helped him the past. He tends to put the needs of the clan before himself and his own well being, perhaps a little too much. He's used to being chastised by Mossheart for this, as he often returns to the medicine cat den with scratches. He hates being ignored, and is quite vocal about his thoughts and opinions. [ I didn't do too much on his personality, I hope that's alright. I'm planning to develop his personality mostly through the rp since he's a new character c: ]

[ Creekfern ] Creekfern hadn't been a part of the original patrol that encountered ThunderClan at the Sunning Rocks. He'd been in camp, preparing herbs for the queens. An apprentice had ran into camp, yelling about ThunderClan. Creekfern, Rosethorn, and Littlefire went to aid the patrol. When they got there a storm had picked up, but the fighting was intense enough to make them all blind to its danger. He was needed to help the wounded, but after he had healed and sent a few back to camp he saw an apprentice cornered. He had gone to help and had just begun to fight when the water finally cascaded over the rocks, pulling him off of the Sunning Rocks despite his best efforts to cling on.
He'd never been the best swimmer, but he had always been able to swim back to shore. This time was different, the current was far too strong for him to even try to go against it. He could barely keep his head above water, let alone make it back to the riverbed. Debris swept by him, but he was just able to sink claws into a branch to help keep himself from drowning. Creekfern managed to hang on for a little while, until it slammed against a rock and he was thrown off. He was pulled under the water a few times, and it took all of his strength to swim back to the top. Once he'd gotten pulled so far under he couldn't tell which way was up and just had to pray to StarClan he'd guessed right. At one point he was thrown against a piece of debris and he blacked out.
When he finally came to, he could feel the warmth of the sun. He ached all over and felt like a badger had chewed him up and spit him back out. Slowly he opened his eyes and peered around him. He didn't recognize anything. He simply laid where he was for a while, until he finally worked up the strength to finally push himself to his feet. He blinked and began to clean off his pelt, trying to gather his thoughts. After a moment, he began to look around for other cats that had been swept down river.

Ashbreeze had been itching for a bit of excitement. Obviously she had gotten it, she thought angrily with a sopping wet pelt. The day hadn't started off too bad. In the morning she had hunted a bit and picked a plump squirrel off of the prey pile. After going on an afternoon stroll with her friend that was quite uneventful she returned to camp and that's when she noticed a whole bunch of warriors were gone. After pressing the ThunderClan medicine cat she figured out what was going on.
What else would she do but to join in on the fighting at Sunningrocks? Ashbreeze was glad that she could finally be of use so she ran over and began to put up her best effort. Barely before she had gotten there she slipped on the water that had begun to rise over the rocks, letting out a surprised yowl before being pulled under.
She wasn't a good swimmer. Why would ThunderClan cats even swim? Ashbreeze fought to make it to the surface and breathe, but eventually her frantic paddling grew tiring. The water whipped her around and death seemed quite possible. She felt her limbs grow heavy when she couldn't stay above it anymore and slowly she was washed away. ThunderClan cats don't swim... that was her last thought.
An unknown amount of time later, Ashbreeze woke up. "Am I in StarClan?" She mewed with a dry throat. Despite the fact that she could barely move she felt anger brew in her stomach, and she began to yowl hopelessly. Her voice sounded terrible and her limbs ached more than she could ever had imagined. Well, this was great. Alone and washed away.

Creekfern hadn't gone far when he heard loud angry yowling, a chilling sound considering everything that had happened. Creekfern had wanted to run straight towards the sound in hopes it was a clan mate, but he managed to catch himself. He wasn't clan territory anymore, in fact he had no idea where he was. The trees surrounding him seemed vaguely familiar, but that was only because they were similar to what grew along the border. Even if he hadn't thought through everything, his limbs wouldn't let him move any faster than a brisk walk. He ached all over, but he managed to force himself to continue. He had to figure out where he was, his clan needed him.
He hadn't gone far from where he had washed up when he saw a wet mass of fur. He slowed his pace to make sure they wouldn't hear him as he examined the form. The closer he got the more distinct it became, it was a cat. A sopping wet cat lying on the ground. He was down wind, thankfully and was able to scent ThunderClan. It was a faded scent, but he supposed that made sense considering they both probably had an unfortunate ride down.
He'd remained hidden behind a small grouping of tall grass, but after a moment finally decided to stand and walk towards the cat. He knew they had to be ThunderClan, but right now he had to swallow his pride and help. They may be from different clans, but they both ended up in StarClan. He had to remind himself of this a few times as he padded over to them. He assumed they didn't see him approach as they didn't say a word, so Creekfern took in a shuddering breath to work up his nerve.
"Are you alright?" He asked, trying his best to not sound angry. He wanted to sound just like Mossheart did when she was talking to their clan mates, reassuring and certain. He wasn't very good at this, but he'd never been a master at hidnig his own emotions. No matter how hard he tried, an inkling of his true feelings showed in his voice or in the way he moved.

Ashbreeze felt quite hopeless, and settled down to fall back asleep into a soaking wet pile. She was cold, angry, and didn’t want to think about the future. That was until a voice woke her straight up... Another cat? Ashwind peered weakly up at a cat staring at her with the fishy scent of RiverClan still coming off his pelt in waves despite him being also soaked to the bone. As soon as he finished speaking she quickly rose to her feet and puffed out her chest in a quick attempt to try and look threatening.
“I’m perfectly fine, thank you.” Ashwind snapped back, annoyance giving her voice a sour edge. Usually she wasn’t this grumpy but given the scenario obviously things had to be done.
“Hey... Are you the RiverClan medicine cat? I saw you at Gatherings. Or at least the apprentice, right? You can tell me where we are. Right?” Suddenly Ashwind’s eyes brightened up. Obviously he could do something... she wasn’t alone here. Despite him being a clear enemy she decided to leave it be for now. If he could help then he could help, so that meant she would be need to be friendly despite her fear.
Fear... that was something she hadn’t felt in a long time.

Creekfern had taken a step back as the ThunderClan cat stood up and puffed her chest out. He let out an indignant huff and stared at her irritably. ThunderClan, Creekfern scoffed in thought. Always have to make a show of power. That was fair, and he knew it. He was just as bitter as she was in their predicament. He'd done his part, he'd came to see if she was alright. StarClan couldn't blame him if she died.
He had begun to turn around, until he heard her speak again. He stopped mid step and looked back at her, looking her over to see if she was critically injured. He didn't see any signs of anything major, but then again there could always be internal bleeding. She was undoubtedly covered in scratches as he was, but that was nothing a little cobweb and comfrey couldn't fix.
He frowned at her, surprised by her questions. "I was the apprentice, I'm one of RiverClan's medicine cats." While it was true Mossheart was far from retirement, Creekfern had proved himself enough to earn his title. He was just as able as any of the other medicine cats... well almost, but they still had moons on him. He was a quick study, it wouldn't take long. Creekfern saw her eyes brighten as she asked if he knew where they were... He glanced down at the ground for a second, not wanting to make her lose hope. "No, not entirely," He admitted after a moment. "But we were taken down river, so that must mean RiverClan is up river. And so is ThunderClan." He looked towards the direction he'd indicated and felt uncertainty crawl across him. He only vaguely recognized everything around them, and it was only because everything looked similar. Same trees, same plants, but... there was also no RiverClan scent around them.
This alone made him anxious, he was so used to having the scent of his clan mates surrounding him. His entire identity was in his clan, and that had been stripped of him. He stared at the place RiverClan should be, as if it would magically appear. As luck would have it, it didn't. He took in a deep breath and let out in a shudder, trying his best to seem calm. He didn't want this ThunderClan cat to think him weak. He wasn't. He looked back to her.
"Truce?" He asked. "Until we reach our borders, of course."
