Shira clamped down on her tongue, tasting a bit of blood as her teeth pierced her tongue. Fresh blood now ran freely from her wrists and the stinging needles of pain intensified when he yanked the ropes tighter. She tried twisting and rotating her hands to create more room, but it only made matters worse. She took a deep breath and swallowed, trying to push the pain aside. If she didn't fight it then it would get better. If she fought things would be worse. Survive.
Suddenly a large shout took her attention. They were to the center of town and the guards were moving the mythicals into a nearby stable. They'd probably be tied, fed scrapes, and then left for the night. Shira stumbled faster to avoid the constant jerking of the chain. It gave short relief, but another jerk proved her efforts useless and the rope temporarily dug into her wrist. She hissed in pain and moved forward.

Ellie was thankful that her ropes weren't as tight as some but they were still uncomfortable. She kept her gaze on the road below her, not wanting to see what the villagers were doing, and what faces they made when they saw her kind.

Tareck stood stock still as soon as he saw the stable. There was no way. He was not going to be treated this way. Digging his hooves into the dirt, he didn't allow himself to be moved and keeping those next to him from being moved as well.

Shira looked over her shoulder as the chain suddenly stopped moving. Once again, her eyes landed on that stubborn centaur. Her gaze hardened. What do you think you're doing! she wanted t shout at him. But her wrists proved the punishment for talking and she needed to survive. Shira glared daggers at the centaur. For not wanting to become a pack mule, he certainly acted like a mule. She looked away as guards startled toward the centaur, whips in hand.

Liam pulled the leather taunt in his hands. First the tiger girl and now the centaur. He couldn't wait to get these animals over his hands. He stood beside the other guards and gave a warning crack of his whip. "Get moving!" He shouted at the animal. Philip stood on his porch in the middle of town, his crystal blue eyes fixated on the scene. He took in the mythical one by one, examining them with a watchful eye.

Ellie tryed to hurry into the stable as fast as she could as to avoid the whip. She wanted to stay in the most fit position she can for the travel she was forced to endure. And sleeping on straw like an animal wasn't going to help. It was still hard to sleep on and could make her back sore in the morning

Tareck jogged in place, dancing away from the whip. He glared at the guard, voice low and furious, "Touch me with that and I'll break your knees."

"You touch me and I'll break your neck." Liam threatened. The whip was long enough to keep him out of kicking range but still able to strike the centaur.

Tareck felt the sting of the whip along his chest, a red welt forming under the impact. He kicked out as best he could, though the hobbles kept his blows from reaching the smug little guard. As the villagers began to gather, he shifted away from the crowd as best he could, hit frustration evident.

Liam raised his whip once more and prepared for another hit. "I hope you're not planning on leaving my streets bloody." Philip called from the cobblestone road. "I don't think this poor creature is worth that much effort. Either he listens or dies, simple as that." The noble replied, his demeanor was calm as it normally was. Liam lowered his whip. "I apologize, but this...beast is being a particular problem." Liam said through gritted teeth. Nobles weren't his favorite people. Philip looked at Tareck. "Submit or be killed, it's really your choice." He said.

As a voice rang out above the crowd, Tareck's eyes scanned the crowd until he found the source, a well-dressed man who apparently had some sway over the guard. He fixed him with a long look, examining him carefully, then let out a small sigh. Relaxing, he began to head towards the stable, never taking his eyes off the noble.

"See, very simple. Simple-minded beings don't understand your odd language. Talk to them like you would your own dog." Philip scoffed at Liam as he watched the centaur begin moving again. Liam ground his teeth and turned away, making sure everyone went into the barn. Oh, how he loathed nobles. "Po, feed those pigs would you?" He commented over his shoulder.

Shira looked up at the noble, a bit confused that he spoke up. She studied him carefuly for a minute or two and then she turned away. The centaur began moving and so did she. This was an exhausting day and the stable sounded like a luxury compared to the pig pen she had to sleep in last week. Shira moved toward the stable and after her restraints were checked, she was shoved into a tight stall, soon to be joined by others. She looked at the straw. It was better then mud. Shira awkwardly sat down, stretching her legs in front of her and setting her bond hands in her lap. Now she just needed to wait for food.

Tareck stood in the stall next to the others, taking up the majority of the space. Locking his knees, he let himself relax with a long sigh.

Sorry! My phone is being dumb)
Upon sitting down Ellie had a fire of hatred in her eyes. Literally. You could see the flames if you looked closely. She noticed she was getting red streaks in her hair but didn't bother to stop it. Her face was a bit darker with color, versus her very pale skin. She clenched her fists. When Ellie was mad, she was mad. No way around it. This is what happened to her everytime she was mad.

Shira glanced over at the girl then looked back at her scraps of food. "Getting angry doesn't help" She said flatly, "If it did, most of us would be gone already" She sniffed at her scraps of food. Gingerly lifting a peice of stale bread to her lips, she nibbled at it. Her face twisted with a sour look at the taste, but she continued to eat it. (Hmmm, I'm thinking about making another mythical, but I'm not sure what it would be )

She looked over at the human/tiger hybrid, "It doesn't have to help." Then she looked over at the person that gave her more food, "I don't want your disgusting excuse for 'food' either!" She grabbed some of it and hurled it at the wall, noticing it started to smoke a little. However, that was all she could really do without fire nearby, make things hot. She considered herself a living brick oven.

(Unicorn ) "Whatever we have leftover." Liam replied and waved Po away. He looked towards the inner part of town. Maybe they had something to occupy his time until the morning or at least somewhere with a good ale.

Shira sighed and shrugged, "Then whats the point? A waste of energy is all that is" She said, looking up as the food smacked the wall. "That is a waste. You could've at least given it to someone else" She stated calmly. If the girl wanted to make a ruckus, she was okay with it now. They weren't chained together so the movement and rebellion wasn't causing her any pain. But honestly, Shira did think it was a waste. The girl wanted to leave? Well she needed energy and strength for that. And for energy and strength, she needed food. No matter how bad it tastes.

"You can't waste something that is already equivilant to waste." She shot back. There wasn't any nutritional value in this garbage whatsoever. Ellie would pretty much be putting poison in her body! And what use would that be? She rolled her eyes. This is ridiculous. Slaves? She would rather be a servant and at least get paid for back breaking labor.

Tareck leaned over the low wall between the stalls, looking down at the group. He shook his shoulders for a moment, working out some kinks in his muscles, the snorted, "The tigress is right. We should eat what we can get. Starving ourselves is futile."

Shira raised an eyebrow at the snappy girl. If starving was what the girl wanted then so be it. Shira was surprised by the centaur's entrance into the conversation. She was further surprised that he even agreed with her. She looked at the centaur and then back to the girl. "You should listen to the centaur. They're really smart beings when they're prides not being challenged" She said, looking back to her food and picking through it. Her comment wasn't meant as a poke or insult to the centaur, she just spoke bluntly. She frowned. No meat. They didn't even give her meat. She might as well be a vegetarien tigeress. Shira nibbled at the rest of her bread and then moved to something else. Was that.....droopy lettuce? Gross.

"'Starving ourselves is futile!'" She mimicked the centaur, "Do you want to know what's futile? Eating this trash!" Ellie had a fiery temper, even over the little things in life, she can and usually will find something to be mad at. When she first was shoved in line, Ellie felt depressed and sorrowful, but now she had blistering fury. Not that she looked any more angry than she already was.
