@borderline
"I don't often get the chance to talk to someone like you." Muse A is a clan cat in a clan that borders a twolegplace filled with twolegs upon twolegs, and of course with twolegs come their pets. Dogs, rabbits, and cats galore -- each house seems to hold at least one twoleg pet. Muse A can’t help but be curious and drawn to the mysterious cats that live within the walls. Muse B is your regular old kittypet, living with a young pair ow twoleg-mates and their twoleg kit, a rambunctious little boy. In order to get away for awhile when accidentally injured, Muse B finds themself face to face with Muse A, a strange scented cat from the forests..
Izumi -- a fluffy silver point-furred kittypet with bright blue eyes. A collar of sapphire blue sits on their neck with a shiny silver tag and glittering stones.

Izumi had been happy with her housefolk for a long time. As old as she was, which actually wasn't very old at all, the silver and white cat was not aware of all she could know about. As a pet who had grown up as a pet, born to a pet, and living as a pet -- Izumi was comfortable with her life.
On the other hand, she felt threatened. Her housefolk had a kitten, a loud and hyper little one that would often try to pet her. One day, however, the kit went a little to far and suddenly Izumi felt as though her leg would never be able to move again. Searing pain overtook her and she did the only logical thing and scratched them. And then she left, escaping into the backyard and out into whatever lay beyond her fence.

For as long as he could remember, Wrendapple had always been curious about what lay beyond OakClan's territory. He knew of the twolegs and their pets; from time to time, dogs would escape into the forest and would either leave the clan alone entirely, or would attack viciously - though not common, he was not a stranger to it. Even with the dangers he knew that hid behind the strange barriers of the twolegs, he was curious. On border patrols that brought him close to that section of the forest, he would pause and watch with a curious gaze, would watch weird kittypets as they wandered along the barrier but did not try to go to the forest. He didn't understand it - why didn't they just...leave?
Perhaps they liked twolegs, though he didn't know why. The only twolegs he'd seen were vicious. Part of the forest was still regrowing after some loud twolegs had caused a fire; things like that were why he found himself nervous of them.
On this particular day, the slender tom weaved his way through the familiar undergrowth, ears twitching back at every little sound. His mission was to gather the catmint that grew at the base of the barriers near the twolegs places. It was tempting to jump over said barrier to gather what grew within; but he knew that it was dangerous, and so he didn't. Instead, he approached one of the nearest barriers and paused, crouched temporarily. Wrendapple could smell a cat nearby - that wasn't a good sign. It took him a few moments to move again, sharp gaze focused entirely on the catmint. More grows in there, though, he thought, gaze glancing up to the barrier. I'll have to go there someday.
It was late enough in the day that the dew had evaporated from the leaves. He began to pick some of it carefully, his feathery tail swishing back and forth in a lazy manner.
