Isabel --
Isabel has the body of a warrior. She stands at about 5'5 and has a slim and muscular build. Her dark brown hair is usually braided, though sometimes let loose, and her eyes are a dark and intense blue. Isabel's skin is fairly pale and unmarked except for the jagged scar trailing from the right side of her forehead down to the corner of her mouth.
Isabel grew up in a kingdom where the mind was honored above all else, to an extent. The army is made up of the strongest, fastest, and brightest of her kingdom and are chosen by strict guidelines. Those who aren't chosen to protect the kingdom instead follow pursuits of the mind. Poetry, music, art, writing, research... Those are all common jobs in the kingdom. It's home to some of the top war strategists in the world and Isabel works closely with each one of them.
Isabel is truly a warm and loving person with a bright spirit and lots of energy. That is, however, buried beneath the somewhat cold and unwelcoming feeling she gives off. Her scarred face doesn't help the intimidating figure of the young queen and many don't get to truly know her. Instead, they follow her commands out of fear and respect instead of genuine like of the queen. This has caused her to become rather lonely with few close friends. The large scar on her face is also a source of discomfort for Isabel. She feels insecure about it and know that it unnerves many people. Good when she's dealing with enemies, bad when she wants to make friends.
Isabel comes from a family of three children. The oldest is Cassius. He became an assassin at a young age, working with a legendary assassin. He stayed in contact with his family, even teaching his younger siblings how to fight. In a more stealthy manner as well as a more physical manner. Due to the training she received from Cassius, Isabel is a surprisingly skilled fighter and the constant training keeps her body in shape. It is a known fact that she always has a few weapons on her body. The second is Isabel. She inherited the kingdom and is now queen. The youngest is Alexander. He left home at a young age to become an explorer and is often sending letters home with stories of his travels.

Vespastiran Auraelius Runihura
Vespastiran is deceptively slight, standing at 5'9 with slender shoulders and scarred bronze skin. His hair is raven-hued, though it often appears more blue than black, and is in a seeming perpetually windswept state despite his efforts to neaten it. Rae's upwards tilted eyes are of a rosy hue that mixes magenta and red, the color and jewel-like vibrancy marking him as a member of the royal family. Further, the skin above his right brow is inked with a stylized crown tattoo. He can often be seen in the elegant trappings of his people, favoring the earrings that thrice pierce his ears.
Vespastiran is the 22 year old emperor of a sprawling empire that can owe its wealth and success to military might. With a combination of magic, skill, and cunning, they have managed to conquer a good portion of the continent of Viscarna and certain cities across the seas, cementing Vycenea as a force few dare to challenge. Vespastiran has been a key figure in this, having personally led many of the battles that have resulted in the empire's current glory during his seven year reign.
Rae reflects much of his warrior culture in that he is blunt, arrogant, and always up for violent solutions to his problems. Yet his borderline childish energy, short attention span, and playfully irreverent nature tend to cause no end of trouble for his courtiers, advisors, and attendees alike. Vespastiran is an arrogant spendthrift who largely does as he pleases, but remains a favored monarch due to his prowess when it comes to business and actually taking up his role- When it suits him. Though imperious, he's also remarkably easygoing and seems to have no difficulty in finding allies or making friends out of strangers. It is in fact his most innocuous character trait that can account for many of his past victories.
Vespastiran was the sole heir to the Vycenean throne following the unexpected deaths of his parents at fifteen. While he ruled by proxy, for many years it was believed that he would never truly become emperor, and his death was both hoped for and encouraged. For while his nearly-red eyes mark him as a member of the imperial bloodline, his magic was considered woefully inadequate for his position. Rae was born without combat, or Red, magic, and is instead only capable of using 'common' Colorless magic. In particular, a raw and formless brand that is difficult to shape.
