Nikolai Volkov -- Where's Bored and Deep 19 -- Senior -- Male Western -- Cutting Face claim is Matthew Daddario. 6'; is one of those rare high schoolers that can grow a full beard but he keeps it under control. Severe RBF and constantly looks like he's unimpressed. He is actually a pretty fun and warm person. Has a pretty dry sense of humor. Originally from Russia. This kid is essentially always eating. Had the nickname Eat Nik in middle school because of how much he loves food. -- Forgotten Where's Bored and Deep -- Tuba -- Quarter Horse 12 -- Gelding -- Nikolai Volkov 15.1; THICC AQHA reg. dun, probably close to 1200 lbs. no markings. Forms. Yes. I have Riley picked out but still want more I just have to decide who to use. Is there a limit on characters? I didn't see that anywhere, but I was thinking of using four - two boys and two girls
Riley Capps -- King Dynamite 17 -- Junior -- Female English, Eventing description & personality [can be short] other -- Waffles
King Dynamite -- Dino -- Thoroughbred 10 -- Gelding -- Riley Capps description and personality traits [must include at least 3 traits; description to be no longer than three short sentences] other -- Waffles

you can have as many as you'd like as long as it's not too excessive and you can keep track of them all

just checking how colors appear
test test test test test test test test test
I really like how the two silvers look, especially the lighter one. I also like the gold and the blue, so some options are blue/gold, blue/silver, blue/dark silver. if y'all have any other suggestions let me know! and I'll be going with the 2nd banner

Here's some tradition ideas? I just kinda threw out everything so few free to scrap/edit them
Vague tradition ideas ~
Halloween Ride/Christmas Parade
Christmas/Halloween/Easter/Whatever parties where the local town high school invites HBRA students? Or a dance with both schools?
Ooh a big HBRA dance at the end of the year and it's their only dance so it's everyone's only real chance to get all dressed up and fancy and have a dance
Not really a tradition, but if they offer lessons to kids from town, they can be taught by a school student (with instructor recommendation) for extra credit or some other incentive?
Annual dodgeball game? Could be a dorm vs dorm tournament where the winners get something special? Or seniors and juniors va sophomore and freshman (or any grade combos) or students vs faculty
End/Beginning of the year trail ride/camp out. Either everyone or the seniors lead it for the new freshman
An all school fun show kinda thing. Try a different discipline, mounted games, costume contests, etc

Not a huge fan of the local high school parties idea, but I do think the HBRA dance could be a thing. however, I think there should be, like, three dances throughout the year with the last being prom so it's the most formal.

I like 2, 4, 5, and 6 the most
And that sounds good for the traditions. Is that all you wanted or should I throw out more if they come to me?

traditions: Introductory camp-out - At the beginning of the year, the incoming senior class hosts and organizes an introductory camp-out. Students leave on their horses the first Saturday morning of the school year and return the next afternoon.
Halloween ride - Every Halloween, students have the option to dress up both themselves and their horses and go out on a midnight ride. This event is supervised and organized by the seniors. In past years the ride has gone through the trails on campus and then entered the town.
Fall formal - At the beginning of November, Helen Browning Riding Academy hosts a fall formal. It is required for all female students to wear dresses and for all male students to wear button-downs and slacks or khakis with dress shoes. People not enrolled to Helen Browning Riding Academy are not permitted entrance to the formal.
Winter parade - Helen Browning Riding Academy proudly participates in the town's annual winter parade. A group of exemplary riders are nominated and selected by the faculty based on their riding and academic performance. Horses and students are dressed up in winter decorations. Helen Browning Riding Academy hosts a dinner for the town afterwards.
Winter formal - A few days after the winter parade, Helen Browning Riding Academy hosts a winter formal. Similar to the fall formal, all female students are required to wear dresses and all male students are required to wear button-downs and slacks or khakis with dress shoes. People not enrolled to Helen Browning Riding Academy are not permitted entrance to the formal.
Prom - In the spring, Helen Browning Riding Academy commissions a venue to host the annual prom celebration. The dress code is black-tie and girls are not to wear dresses above the knee. People not enrolled to Helen Browning Riding Academy are permitted entrance as long as they fill out a visitor form at least two weeks prior to prom.
End of year camp-out - The final event of the year is the end of year camp-out, again organized and hosted by seniors. Students leave the morning of the last Friday of the school year and return the following afternoon, leaving campus and returning home that Sunday.
sound good?

Any idea on how long/detailed you wanted it to be? I've got about 2 paragraphs right now and a few more things I wanted to expand on but I could easily cut back if you wanted a short 1-2 paragraph summary

I finished it! A few notes before I post it - I know the writing is bleh, but I just figured I'd get the basics down and run it by you and could do some polishing when I have a chance - I just said TOWN until there's a name - I'm not sure what you had planned but I kinda based it off a town that I've gone to on vacation every summer since I was a kid (we have a cabin about twenty minutes away)

TOWN is a small town located a short drive (or moderate walk) from campus. With a population of around 2,000, TOWN doesn't have a ton to offer, but they make it work. Downtown TOWN is the main hangout for both HBRA students and local teenagers.
When it comes to places to eat, there's a few fast food chains, including a McDonald's and Subway. There's a more popular family owned restaurant called Ryland's Bar and Grill. Downtown TOWN is also home to a movie theater. While quite small, it usually manages to show the most recent and popular movies. There's also a smaller arcade inside which is a big attraction for the younger kids. It's probable the biggest place for families to go and is very busy on the weekends. Besides that, there aren't many attractions. There's a local park with a small playground, though most of the equipment is broken and only used by high schoolers when they walk down to the park for gym class. There's a skate park, though it's known as a common hangout for the 'bad kids' and delinquents. The most popular attraction for teenagers would have to be either the mall or the lake.
The TOWN mall is very popular. There's a food court and about 15 stores. There's even a grocery store, making it the only real place for shopping in the entire town. The stores sell anything from food to clothing to books to household appliances. While there isn't much 'fun' to be had, many teenagers will waste hours walking from store to store or hanging out in the food court to catch up on homework or chat with their friends. The TOWN lake is also very popular. There's a small beach with a roped off swimming area, leaving the rest of the lake open for boating, fishing, and tubing. Many of the town's festivals and fairs are held near the lake due to its high popularity among citizens.
The last major place in TOWN is the high school. It seems to be the center of the town's attention, always on the front pages of the news since there's so little going on in the town. Despite the small population of the town, it has a large student body due to students that commute from nearby towns. The school's mascot is a cougar and they seem to have the best football and basketball teams in the area. Many students are involved in after school activities, so the school is usually bustling with life hours after students are dismissed.

Nice town description!! I would just say to up the population. Maybe 10,000? 500 just seems a little small to me to have a mall and all those other stores but maybe I'm just thinking waaay too realistically. Β―\_(γ)_/Β― It's up to macbeth anyways.
In the mean time, i'm gonna try to get a few more characters done.

Thanks! And yeah that's true. We could make it bigger and/or take the mall out and replace it with a few individual stores?
