"As we've taken notice, no leaving class without permission. That's more so that I can keep up with you, and that if there is ever something like an attack from villains, I'd be able to know where you are at all times. Please, be respectful of your classmates. You'll all be trained to be heroes one day. Pro heroes, at that. So please, be kind. Also, I am your homeroom teacher. Your main teacher. You'll have many teachers in this hallway, from literature all the way to music and math and so on. You'll see and interact with students not from the hero course. Please treat other with respect as well. We'll be doing training exercises three times a week, and heroic pre-lessons twice weekly. Understand?" She smiled wide, raising her marker for emphasis, "We have just enough time today to introduce ourselves. I know, I know. It's a bit of a difficulty at times. But we can simply state our names and our quirk. It'll be easier, given that we'll need each other one day." She stood away from the board and in front of the whole class. She flicked her wrist and a cloud formed inside her palm. Lightning danced along her skin. "My name is Florence Winchester, or Flora for short. You may call me Flora, Miss Flora, Miss Florence, whatever you want. I really don't mind. My quirk is the manipulation of the weather. I can also create clouds and precipitation and even lightning with my bare palms." She chuckled softly, closing her hand around the cloud. It faded simply. She pointed at the classroom now. "Alright! Who's next, hm??" Sallow sat at her desk with her cheek resting in the palm of her hand. Her elbow was propped up on her desk in front of her, and the heel of one of her feet tapped quietly along the ground. She had pricked her finger cautiously to let blood well from the small cut. She proceeded to collect it in the air, forming the liquid into a small floating crimson sphere and holding it just at her eye level. Of course, she made sure to stop the blood from flowing on her fingertip so that it wouldn't drip onto the desk. She had mostly been simply drifting around in her thoughts, and even after Florence got the two boys in trouble, she hadn't paid that much attention. However as the teacher began to direct her words more so to the entire class, she lifted her chin to look at Florence and actually listen. As she finished speaking, Sallow lifted her right hand quickly into the air, and without waiting to be called on, she stood up. She smiled at the class as well as Florence, sticking up one finger with the sphere of her own blood hovering meticulously above her dark red painted nails. "My name's Sallow Smith! My quirk allows me to manipulate any blood that has made contact with air," The girl let blood flow once again from the pad of her finger, this time letting it drip down a moment, before collecting it and grouping it up with the other liquid. "I've been told that my quirk belongs to a villain, but I hope you all as my classmates won't share those opinions!" She pushed a bit hair out of her face, then took her seat again, continuing to mold the blood into different shapes and play with it, and placing her chin once again in her hand. (Boop! Hope this isn't a bad place to jump in.)

=== anormallife : Mikel smiled, happy with Aspen's decision, and followed him over to the booth. He grabbed a menu as well and sat down, reading the many entrees inside. There was so much! Different types of sushi, many platters for occasions and events, and even meal platters from two people to seven! It all looked so good. "I don't even know what I want..." Mikel mumbled, "It all looks good to me." He looked up from the menu, noticing the waiter coming over. "Welcome to Galactic Koi, may I get you something to drink?" The waiter asked politely. Mikel noticed it was a complete opposite from the guy tossing sushi to costumers about twenty feet away. He almost started to laugh at the comparison. "Um, yeah, I'll just get a glass of water." He glanced over at Aspen to see what he was going to get. Aspen scanned the menu in front of him. There was just so many options. There was no way he could choose just one of the entrees. "I don't even know if I'll be able to decide." Aspen mumbled as well as he continued looking over his options. He took his gaze away when the waiter came over to their table and asked for their drink order. "Uh, I'll just get a water as well." He told the waiter. When the waiter walked away he turned his attention over to Mikel. "So I was thinking, how about he get one of these platter things and we can each have a bit of everything." Aspen suggested with a slight smile as he pointed to it on the menu.

Masaki stood up from his seat "I guess I'll go next then. My name is Masaki Noya. I'm the son of the number 10 hero Volcanis" he said "My quirk is flame control which allows me to create and control my fire as well as it's heat. I can't use too much of it though or my body will end up overheating" he said as held out his hand with his palm facing up. A decent sized ball of flame appeared in his palm and Masaki started to play with it's shape with it going to a small vortex of fire all the way to a puppy before Masaki extinguished the flame

Florence smiled at her new students, trying to quickly grasp names and quirks to her memory box and store them for later. It would be a tragedy if she'd forgot some of her lovelies' names! And by doing this, she knew others would grasp the names quickly, too. She wanted them to understand their quirks more, and by simply telling the others what their quirks were with their name, it would establish a place for them. A place for them to grow and get stronger with the help and encouragement of their classmates, their teammates, their fellow pro heroes. She couldn't wait to see what this new class had in store, for both herself and for each other. She grinned at Sallow, "That's quite the lovely quirk! As I'm sure others have said it is a villain-like quirk, I think it can very well be a strong quirk as a hero! Especially for those that need help that are bleeding out or have injuries." Then she turned to acknowledge Masaki. "That's a great quirk, and I'm proud to have the number ten hero's son in my class this year! And probably for the next couple years to come! You'll do great, I'm sure! Especially with this lovely crowd of people." She gestured towards the others in the room. "We'll all count on each of you to build each other up these next few years."
Sherlock decided it was his turn and stood up, catching Florence's eye. He lifted his hand in a small greet, dark eyes half lidded and a neutral expression on his face. "My name is Samuel Leon, but everyone calls me Sherlock. This is because I have a quirk that allows me to be quite perceptive of my environment and of other people. I can usually tell when someone is lying, and I have great vision, of which can let me see to multiple things at once at far distances. I want to grow stronger as a hero so I can show people exactly what I can do, and possibly get the chance to stand with the big heroes and fight crime and save people too." He nodded his head and took a seat again. He hated having everyone's attention on him in a small space like this, one where they'd most likely get to know him more than he'd like to allow. If he was famous one day as a hero, it would be different, but this... this was like everyone's eyes were on him, judging him. He gulped his anxiety down and looked away. He would not show his nervousness now, not to those he'd grow to learn, knowing each and every one of their secrets. As much as he used his quirk to be perceptive of others, he sure didn't like others to be perceptive of him.

Eyeing the multiple things that came with the platters, Mikel quickly nodded. "Yeah, totally! I think that'd be great, because we could also get to try different stuff. To be honest, I haven't had most of the sushi on here. There's also bowls of rice and cups of their sweet chicken soup. I'd like to have some of that soup on the side." He held his hands on his stomach, "But ahhh I don't know if I could handle all that food..." The waiter eventually came back by with their glasses of water. Mikel asked for a lemon with his, placing it on the tip of his glass so the juice would gradually go in his drink. "So, we going with this?" He asked Aspen, eyeing the platter, as the waiter stood nearby their table.

(( hope this is a good starter!! =w=
Lucan Trengrove had sat in the middle of class, listening to the other students go on about their quirks, how they work, and their hopes for the future. It was interesting to see newer students and their powers, no doubt they'd have a bright future ahead of them. For Lucan, a new year meant even harder work to become the Pro Hero he wanted to be! He stood up confidently and began to introduce himself after Samuel was finished. "Lucan Trengrove, hero name Scarabae, present! Quirk, Stag Beetle," he listed off quickly before raising his arms up and posing to show his extra limbs. "Giving me the abilities of, well, a beetle...!" The enthusiastic young man smiled as his "antlers" twitched, knowing it didn't sound like much. "I'm a third year here at UA, and I can't wait to see how you all prove yourselves as Pro Heros! Lets do our best!" After his whole spiel, Lucan sat down sheepishly. Had he overdone it?
Mukade was skipping out on his classes, under the excuse of being too ill to attend. He had kept himself hidden as he roamed the city, finding nothing of interest. He attention was drawn to UA, the prestigious school that was known to produce society's next generation of heros. Other schools seemed to pale in comparison to its majesty, making Mukade scoff. He headed for the outside of the school's wall, hidden by the foliage. "Alright my friends, lets see what this place has to offer..." he whispered to a handful of insects in his hands as they dug underground, under the protective walls of the building, finding their way inside of UA.

Masaki bowed and sat down in his seat before Sherlock had stood up. As he looked around the classroom he could tell from the look in their eyes that they were serious about being heroes which he was thankful for. He had met other pro heroes and there were some who just seemed like they weren't serious about their jobs as a hero. He was glad that he wouldn't have to deal with anyone like that so far because those people irritated him the most.

( 𝘧𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘦 : this class is for first years mainly, but we can say that Lucan is just watching and joining the class because his got filled up or something, if you want? I probably should have made that more clear, sorry.) Sherlock hummed in thought as he watched Lucan's introduction, the image of his quirk quite interesting to him. He really enjoyed watching and getting to learn other people's quirks. And this was definitely a new one for him. A beetle? How unique. He wondered what exactly that quirk could grant him during a battle or rescue mission. Sherlock looked over at Masaki and grinned, "There's some cool people in here, huh?" He whispered to the other boy, wondering who would stand up next to introduce themselves. --- Rowan Wilde took his time exiting the UA building, reaching into his pocket to pull out a cigarette and lighter. He really needed this, considering the bs those that represented the official meeting were telling them. He was in a new mood of stress, one that a smoke might fix, if only for a moment. They were on break now, so he could mull over what the heck they were spouting in there. No new updates about the new founding legendary league of villains, but they were bringing up a deal about sending the students with their internship deals and their supervisors on a mission to locate the bases of the new league. And help? How stupid were they? Wait until the actual president of UA found out about this game. They hadn't brought their mission up to the full board yet, the next meeting with the president of UA starting in about thirty minutes. Even if Rowan was a pro hero now, that didn't mean he wasn't concerned with what happened here. These kids were still KIDS, they didn't need to be taken out and put in the line of fire from new villains. No matter if "internships" were considered. It was dangerous. He stopped at the gate of UA, placing his hand on the scanner and leading himself out. He couldn't smoke on campus, but he sure as hell could outside past the gate. Reaching outside, he took a small drag, instant relief flooding him. God, those cowards in there were idiots. The president was obviously going to disagree. Right?

Masaki looked over at Sherlock and nodded "They do seem pretty interesting. Even though we live in a world filled with people with quirks, I still find it amazing at how unique some people's quirks are" he said "I don't think I've ever seen someone that looked so similar to an insect but hearing about his quirk, it seems like he could be useful in certain situations. Though I shouldn't be that surprised seeing as how powerful insects could be if they were on the same scale as humans"

"I agree," Sherlock replied, eyeing some of the other students who stood up to announce their name and quirk, "Just think of the strength and power he could have once trained. It could be quite the pro hero quirk." Sherlock smiled, "Not having a physical quirk is strange sometimes, because people think that you're quirkless unless you have some sort of physical ability or mutation about you. I've had multiple people assume I was quirkless, until I called them out for lying to someone close to them. It was easy. Or talking about an event that was happening a couple miles down the road that I could see. But other than that, it's hard to really see someone's quirk when it isn't a physical manifestation."

"Thats fairly true. Transformation type quirks and Mutant type quirks are far more easily spotted than Emitter type quirks. I've never been mistaken for quirkless though or if I have, no one has said anything to me so I wouldnt know" Masaki said "But there are so many quirks out in the world that if they trained them enough, they could use it for good."

(no worries! work has had me too)
"Yeah, you're right," Sherlock smiled at Masaki, before a glint of something flared in his eyes. He instantly reached down to pull a notebook out of his backpack, a pencil with it. He started writing something down as soon as he opened the pages. "I want to write down everyone's quirks. That way, if in battle, I can find out their strengths and weaknesses. It will be good info in case we have to battle at the festival." He remembered watching a documentary on their school's president, back a good couple decades ago when he was in his first sport festival at UA. Sherlock had seen their president face off against a few good people, before being defeated. But the defeat was extraordinary. He wanted to be like their school's president, someday. But with his type of quirk...it was really hard.

"Thats gotta be a pain though. You then have to memorize each quirk and different ways to counteract each one. That requires a ton of mental power though from what I have gathered, you seem like you can easily handle that" Masaki said as he stretched his arms out above his head before relaxing them to rest against the back of it. "I'm sure you'll have several notebooks filled with information by the end of this year. Seeing as quirks can grow and you haven't seen everyone's quirks utilised to their full potential its only to be expected. Take mine for example, not only can I change the shape but also I have been able to start controlling the heat. I'm not the best at controlling the heat but you have to factor that into your battle plan"

"Hm...that's true. I could go through a lot." Sherlock sighed, closing the notebook. He really didn't want to start a collection like, notebook after notebook. But...if it took learning and calculating other quirks well enough, then so be it. "Oh, well. I think it will take a lot of brainpower to focus and memorize other quirks. But, if it helps not only me, but others as well, I think it'll be worth it. Especially when sometimes quirks tend to 'change', so to speak. Or, we think they have one quirk but it ends up being something else entirely." He started to put the notebook back into his backpack, noticing everyone had called out to Ms. Florence. "After this, I'm probably going to go to the closest library and do some information research. They have games there too, though. Want to come with?" He raised an eyebrow and looked back to Masaki, curious of his answer.

And even if they couldn’t finish everything it was always nice to have leftovers to take home. He then glanced to the waiter as they came back to their table with the waters that they got. He nodded at Mikel to answer his question then he ordered the platter for the two of them.

He nodded at Mikel to answer his question then he ordered the platter for the two of them. (i'm so sorry this has taken forever.) "Oh yeah, definitely," Mikel couldn't help but laugh at the statement. It was true. They would be heroes someday, pros even, and they'd deal with a heck of a lot more than overstuffing themselves. Plus, taking home leftovers to Oakley didn't seem that bad of an option. But... Mikel felt the twitch in his smile as he glanced up at the waiter. The thought of them being heroes one day...it also scared Mikel. Not because of actually being a hero; heck, that was what they were going to UA for. But because he was scared he wouldn't live up to his own dream of being a hero. He had a quirk that dealt with emotions and auras. It wasn't a physical manifestation, unless you counted the small horns atop of his head as one, but they had nothing to do with his quirk. His father had been the one to deal with emotions. His father was a doctor, a psychiatrist. His quirk fit well there. And Mikel's mom had horns atop her head, large and threatening, and sharp teeth that could bite and heavy strength and... Mikel didn't feel like he fit in well. He didn't have the upper strength his mom had, or the complete control and talent and skill his father had with his emotional quirk. Mikel hadn't seen another mental-based or emotion quirk in his class, either. Was becoming a hero even worth it if he couldn't follow through? He honestly just wanted to be a hero because his mother was a pro and she...she was amazing. "So, have you thought about where you want to start internships yet this year?" Mikel brought up. Had he brought it up before? He'd never know. "I was thinking an agency near a hospital. It would, uh, be a good place for a quirk like mine." --- In the sushi shop, a small shadow lingered in the door of a hallway, close to the restrooms. It watched the area carefully, glowing eyes moving from person to person in the room. They halted as soon as he caught sight of the two teenage boys sitting at a table together. He'd seen them before. They went to UA High. He'd seen them on the cameras a few times, back at his lounge, while patrolling the UA's campus for any signs of THAT hero. He sniffed. Why were those stupid kids here, on a night like this? Too bad. It just meant he'd found exactly what he was looking for.

It's going to be a pain writing all the quirks down, but I'm sure, in the end, it'll be worth it." He let his focus trail back to Florence in the front of the room. She had her pen out again, writing on the holographic board, something about numbers and dates and the types of studies one would get into when being a hero. Stuff Sherlock had already known. He'd down his research before coming here, he knew what UA had to offer. He continued to stay in his headspace the rest of the day until he heard the bell ring. (you wanna skip to them going to the library?)

Masaki nodded before he also turned back towards Florence and started to take down notes. He wasn't too thrilled that English was one of the subjects since he had always hated learning it. He could figure out why all these classes were being taught though, even if he didnt like it. Japan had many tourists so learning a foreign language was pretty much a necessity in the hero business

(no worries i understand. I've been thinking about taking the few of us who actually still rp on here (like you and anormallife) and just move it to direct message, since that way we can message back a reply when we can) After their first few classes, Sherlock was ready to work on some research in the library. Plus, his class in math had immediate homework, so he needed to look up on formulas that could help. He waited in the hallway near the library, wondering if Masaki wanted to join him today. He knew the other boy had said he'd like to earlier, but plans can sometimes change. Especially after a day like today. On first days, it can always be so overwhelming. At least he'd found a friend among the others.

(It’s all good c: also I’m totally okay to moving to pm if you want) Aspen didn’t really think about his joking comment about them being heroes one day too much. He just talked to the waiter with a smile as he ordered their food and he handed over the menus on the table once he was done doing that. He waited until the waiter had walked away before taking a sip of his water, it wasn’t as cold as he would like, but he could fix that. He set his water back down then he looked up and across the table at Mikel when he asked his question. He shrugged to answer his question. “A little, definitely not as much as I should be.” He answered him. With his hand still wrapped around the water glass, he focused his quirk to lower the temperature of his glass, significantly lowering the temperature of the water inside. He didn’t freeze the contents inside though, he made sure to only use his quirk just a tiny bit so that didn’t happen. “I would really love to intern with some of the top heroes but that isn’t always that easy. I do know I want to work in the city with some villain activity. My quirk works best when I have different objects to work with, and I want to show some pro-heroes what I can do.”
