You're all wonderful friends, you get along well, you've known each other for years and years. Some of you might have grown up together, some of you might be a little newer, but you're all great friends. You live together in this nice little apartment building with a wonderful little courtyard, it's in a nice part of town too. You couldn't have asked for a better life really. Your job pays well, you have a nice place to live, your friends are ultimately wonderful people. You guys all hang out together sometimes, you have each other's backs. Of course you get into the occasional argument or two but who doesn't really? Yes, it all seems so nice and lovely. Except...you're a hitman. Your life's not always flowers and sunshine, there's that darker part to it. You have good days at work and you have bad days at work, really who doesn't though right?
So I had this fun little idea of a group of hitmen who all work under one guy that live together in the same apartment building. Most of them have probably known each other for awhile, maybe there's a new guy or two. They're like your average, every day people except they have some killer skills that others might not possess. Usually they work as a team for larger jobs, and for smaller jobs it's more individual work. They get paid like anyone else would at a normal job, heck they even get commission should they become a more popular pick. But then I had this second fun idea. How amusing would it be if some random person with no skills in being a hitman or the like managed to actually move into the same apartment building as all these hitmen?
So like every role-play it's got some rules I'd like to be followed:
1. Please follow all forum rules, they're there for a reason
2. Keep it family friendly and all that, no over the top violence and what have you
3. It's not really an advanced rp, but I would like appropriate grammar and meaty replies. Nothing like "she walked" or "she walked next to him. She knew he didn't want her to ask where he was going. So she didn't. She kept quiet and walked" because it doesn't give people much to respond to y'know?
4. I'd like for you to be active, but c'mon, we all have lives and stuff so I'm not gonna expect you to be on all day every day type deal
5. For now probably a max of only 2 characters per person unless it doesn't seem like anyone else is gonna join
6. So while they're all probably very skilled and experienced, still no god-modding, power playing, killing people's characters without permission, and things like that
7. Have fun, it's more of an entertaining role-play as opposed to something darker or whatever, so I mean, have fun with it but don't go over the top
