1) gimme shelter -- the rolling stones (open)
"Oh, a storm is threat'ning
My very life today
If I don't get some shelter
Oh yeah, I'm gonna fade away
War, children, it's just a shot away
It's just a shot away
War, children, it's just a shot away
It's just a shot away"

2) rocket man -- elton john (open)
"And I think it's gonna be a long long time
'Till touch down brings me round again to find
I'm not the man they think I am at home

"Trouble's coming for the free men
We shake them, shake them with the free hand
So stand tall, shout out with me
(YOU CAN FOLLOW THEM TO HELL)"
chaos, fear, and uncertainty are embodied in a ruthless, lawless criminal terrorizing the barely settled midwestern united states during the later part of the nineteenth century. a sheriff risks it all to stop them.

"So let's let things come out of the woodwork
I'll give you my best side, tell you all my best lies
Seeing me rolling, showing someone else love
Hands under your t-shirt
Know I think you're awesome, right?"
it's (either Europe or the US, we'll decide) right after the first world war. it's the roaring twenties--the era of the so-called "lost generation." a young war veteran encounters a widow/former nurse as they explore their city's nightlife, and learn perhaps more about themselves than how much liquor they can tolerate as a strange relationship develops.

- my responses are around 5/600 to 800ish words (and that's on the shorter end? starters can get crazy hoo boy) so like.... know yourself and don't make a claim here if you can't at least match that pls thanks
- pro tip: look @ my recent posts to get an idea of how much I write
- I am not super active. I'm a uni student athlete so my free time is p limited. expect like one or two responses a week
- uh
- as far as characters go, mine usually aren't younger than high school students and tend to be in their late teens + early 20's
- idgaf about lgbtq+ or pairings or whatever (or, even better worded, I'm chill w any type of character you throw at me in a potential romance setting)
