I've thought about this long and hard and decided that I finally want to recreate DBC. For those of you who don't know, DBC was a sister "clan" to MBC (Mega Boneclan) back in late 2010 to early 2012. It was a kit-stealing "clan" and really... sort of cringey at the time, but was quite a lot of fun! Many things will be changed in the reboot, but some things will stay the same. Other things might be up to you guys! Things that will be Same: - The Plot- However, the plot will be getting a complete reboot as well. None of what passed on old DBC will be transferring to the new one. That way we can get a clean slate and no one has to have any prior experience, and old members can have a new experience with the same events, or they could spin an entirely new story!
- The Cats- My characters will remain the same. They will also still be a band of rogues, akin to BloodClan from the books which is where I drew the initial inspiration of course.
- The Thieving- Yep! It's still going to be a kit-stealers clan. I know those have lost popularity the past few years to the point of being nonexistant, but DBC ouldn't be DBC without it. HOWEVER since most clans have rules against it it will be mandatory to either 1. make a proxy clan to raid and alt pages, which i can do or 2. be polite and ask around.
Things that will be Different: - The Territory- Whereas much of it will still be similar, there's a lot that I just won't keep and for understandable reason.
The "Blood River" which literally ran red with the blood of murdered cats and kits... yeah that just won't do. lmao. How did the mods even let that slide for so long? Also it was eternal night there for... really no reason. Too Edgy(tm) Border pages would also be great. - The Layout- Obviously a fancy revamped clan needs a fancy revamped page. And I am going to need help with coding.
- The Powers- The old DBC had a lot of random things thrown in that really shouldn't be. Random powers, cats with wings, and other things that had no place. Instead I will create a set amount and type of these things and they will be plot related only. Not every cat gets to have a mad case anti-sue syndrome equal to My Immortal.
To keep it short, the TLDR is that things will be more developed and make sense this time. I want to be absolutely thorough with my recreation of this masterpiece. Keeping the old vibes with some clean cut twists.

Sounds fun to me! I've never been part of a kit stealing Clan! It would be a fun experience. :3 As long as the people you're stealing kits from are fine with it. I'm willing to help as much as I can!

Yeah thats going to be one of the major rules, always ask other rpers if they can steal a kit or make a proxy. I'll be working on proxy clans/tribes too with claim a cat characters so we might do some largescale raids and fights too. Or someone could make some sort of rival border page as well. Although, the kit thieving might be a less often thing and not as large part of the plot since it isnt popular, but oh well.

Sounds interesting. I've wondered what it would be like in a kit stealing clan.
you are welcome to steal from my clan BloomClan, there's a reason why we don't have a rule against kit---ing.

͐T͐͐ᴡ͐͐ɪ͐͐ɪ͐ᴀ͐ pumpkin pie Maplestone360Heres what I have so far. I wanted the layout to be completely neat and tidy, as well as easy to read on mobile. I made the banner gif myself but the round ones... i dont remember where they came from but they were on a layout of one of my other clans so i recycled them. I hope it stays in tact... Nope! All is well. A good portion is just some revising from the old pages I had saved.
Plus, this rp is basically my baby so I'm slightly possessive of how it will be done. Everything has to be just right
I will post the finished product here so y'all can revise it, ask questions if something doesnt make sense, make sure I didnt make any dumb spelling errors, etc.
Although, one thing someone CAN do is get me that list of battle moves and herbs from the official guidebook. I like to always have that as a quick ref and I havent found it in a while.

If you look on the Warriors wikia, they usually have all that kind of information there. :3 I don't have the official guidebook, though.

Here’s the battle moves: Back Kick - Explosive surprise move to catch opponent from behind. Judge opponent's distance from you carefully, then lash out with your back legs, taking all weight on your front paws.[1] Belly Rake - A fight-stopper. Slice with unsheathed claws against the soft flesh of the opponent's belly. If you're pinned down, the belly rake quickly puts you back into control.[1] Front Paw Blow - Frontal attack. Bring your front paw down hard on your opponent's head. Claws sheathed.[1] Front Paw Strike/Forepaw Slash - Frontal attack. Slice downward with your front paw at the face or body of your opponent.[1] Killing Bite - A death blow to the back of the neck. Quick and silent and sometimes considered dishonorable. Used only as a last resort.[1] Leap-and-hold - Ideal for a small cat facing a larger opponent. Spring onto opponent's back and grip with unsheathed claws. Now you are beyond the range of the opponent's paws and in position to inflict severe body wounds. A group of apprentices can defeat a large and dangerous warrior in this way. Watch for the drop-and-roll counter move, and try to jump free before you get squashed.[1] Partner Fighting - Warriors who have trained and fought together will often fall instinctively into a defensive position, each protecting each other's back while fending off an opponent on either side. Slashing, clawing, and leaping together, battle pairs can be a whirlwind of danger for attackers.[2] Play Dead - Effective in a tight situation, such as when you are pinned. Stop struggling and go limp. When your opponent relaxes their grip, thinking you are defeated, push yourself up explosively. This will throw off an unwary opponent and put you in attacking position.[2] Scruff Shake - Secure a strong teeth grip in the scruff of your opponent's neck; then shake violently until they are too rattled to fight back. Most effective against rats, who are small enough to throw. A strong throw will stun or kill them.[2] Tail Yank - Grab your opponent's tail and yank it with such force your opponent is thrown off balance. Teeth Grip - Target your opponent's extremities- the legs, tail, scruff or ears- and sink in your teeth and hold. This move is similar to the leap-and-hold except your claws remain free to fight.[2] Upright Lock - Final, crushing move on already weakened opponent. Rear up on back legs and bring weight down on opponent. If opponent does the same, wrestle and flip them under you. This makes you vulnerable to the belly rake, so it takes great strength and speed.[2] Half-Turn Belly Rake - Turn onto your side, slip under the opponent's belly, rake it with your claws, then swiftly turn back onto all fours out from under your opponent.[3] Badger Defense: Leap over opponent, turn on your back legs and bite opponent's leg. Used only when fighting badgers.[4] Duck and Twist: Simple defensive move. The cat ducks then twists around, rolling over onto their back, and then springs to their paws.[5] Jump and pin: Complicated move. Leap backwards, and bounce off the wall. With precise accuracy, land on the cat.[6]

Introduction
You stalk onward into the thick oak and redwood forest, the sky all but blotted out and the path ahead lies in complete darkness. Between the shadows and thick underbrush and tall grass, you have lost your way not knowing which way is out. Suddenly you stumble and fall into a patch of thorns clawing your pelt and sticking to you. Behind you is a mrrow of laughter. "Nice going!" the voice caterwauls, "I was wondering how long you were going to plod in circles before falling into one of our traps. Who are you? Are you looking for kits?" You see a pair of glinting yellow eyes and a dark gray form of another cat emerge and stare mockingly down at you. "Oh well, I guess it doesn't matter. You're our prisoner now. Welcome to DarkBlood territory, I am Dark." History
"What? You want to know how we got here? Fine, I will tell you. We started off as just a bunch of rogues, fighting, stealing, hunting, you get the idea. But eventually in a place like this where no one wants to give up their share of land there has to be some compromise, and that's where I came in. We banded together for shelter and convenience and made a blood pact--Hence the name. "We're all siblings here now really. Each member is loyal to each other and to me most of all since I am, of course, their leader. Stop laughing! Of course rogues can know loyalty! Other rules, like those laws Clan cats have, those are a different matter. It's only against our laws to murder and steal from a fellow sibling, and if you break it the consequences will be severe. Other cats? Don't matter. "In fact, we've perfected thieving from our neighbors. To us, all that matters is us. Prey, herbs, even kittens. Who cares if that's cruel? Any kit we steal is raised as one of our own and treated kindly among our ranks if they so choose to take the blood oath in their coming-of-age ceremony when they're 6 moons old. Though if not, they are exiled. "What is the blood oath? Are you considering joining? Well, it does require you to bleed a little in the literal sense. There's an old ritual tree where the ceremony takes place. You'd have to pri ck your paw pad with a thorn and the leader, I of course, will do the same as you repeat a few words after me. Quick and not-quite painless." -- The original DBC was a roleplay made by me as *Leapkit* and co-run with Greeneyes of RiverClan which lasted from 2010-2012 and was a sister-rp of MegaBone Clan and allied with other well-known kit-stealing clans. It was never terribly big and only had a few active members but with those super-active members we boasted the single largest kit-count of any rp at a whopping 2,506 stolen kits.
Loosely based on a forest-dwelling BloodClan concept, the og plot was wild, crazy, edgy, and every bit cringe worthy with emo superpowered winged cats everywhere. Something that has now has been remedied thoroughly through the reboot. I consider this particular rp my absolute baby, and was so excited when it was brought up to me to remake and encouraged by several users. This reboot is not a continuation of the old DBC, and new members do not need to have any of this prior knowledge, so this blurb is just for an extra history on the rp itself. Please have fun and enjoy reading through the page, even if you decide not to join. :3Territory
text Plots
With the DarkBlood alliance having just been formed, the loyalties of every cat in camp are in question to one another. There is only a slight trust in how much the completed oath actually bound them together and tensions between ones that were once rogues are quite high. It is up to the Leader and her soon-to-be-appointed Second and Shaman to sooth tensions and enforce the unity of them all. Who will break the oath, and who will stay a DarkBlood cat? Allegiances Leader --Dark | Female | 32 Moons A lithe and short-furred solid dark gray cat with gleaming yellow eyes. Relatively even tempered, she can also find humor in almost anything. Though when she does get heated, prepare for one hell of a fire. She tends to approach both situations and cats with a healthy level of cynicism before coming to any conclusion. No one quite knows where exactly she came from and her personal life is just as shadowed as she is. She is excellent in stealth as well as her leading capabilities, both of which she takes a great deal of pride in. Second --Open - To be appointed in-rp Shaman --Open - To be appointed in-rp Rogues --Grimm | Male | 32 Moons A dark gray tabby with black stripes and amber eyes. Dark's littermate. He doesn't talk much either because he doesn't have much to say, or isn't that bright. It could be likely that both are true. He's powerful and broad shouldered unlike his sister and grumpy temperament. He both respects and defends her leadership with his life. Bones | Female | 18 Moons Bones is a short, thick-furred white she-cat with a large black splotch on her back and the tip of her tail. She has dark green eyes and a sharp nose for easily tracking prey or threats. Unfortunately though, her left eye is slightly clouded from an injury before joining Dark. She's surprisingly open and trusting to the other cats. Pine | Female | 46 Moons A very dainty-looking tortoiseshell with sleek long fur and bright green eyes. Despite her age, she is extremely naiive and has a softer spot for the kits both stolen and blood-born. She's nearly always eager to help train the apprentices and patrol, but for all of her boundless energy she is a poor fighter. However she excels at climbing trees and chasing squirrels. Apprentices --Cats Mollies --None Kits --None Elders --None The Dead --None - Please do not join as dead. Exiled --None - Please do not join as exiled. (Will open up as plot furthers) Outsiders --None Rules
