[ so is the clan in the process of migrating, or are they just a wandering clan that moves with the seasons? reminds me of geese in a way xD also we could have them on the outskirts of a town? Or perhaps they live in a ghost town that's completely deserted? that'd be a cool concept. or perhaps they live in the ghost town, then humans come to demolish and rebuild which forces them to leave and that's how their journey starts? perhaps there's a clan that just lives on an island and has to survive that way? just throwing random ideas out here in case one of them sparks something better in one of you! c: ]

WORDS
I was thinking Red Dead Redemption terrain and towns type of deal- very old Western concept around the Texas/Mexico area! I don't think we ever decided on a plot really but obviously the cats are struggling to survive and need to communicate with towns and humans and other animals alike. They could live in a small ghost town of some kind, and be able to travel long distances to actually inhabited towns in small droves to scavenge or communicate. That would be fun! c:

I think that idea would be really cool. We can work with it to make it super dangerous and have some fun plots.

Territory Vast open plains and swaths of trees cover this unpredictable and unforgiving landscape. "Territory" is as much land the cats can physically push themselves to travel to- and for such, it is frequently growing and changing, moreso corresponding to "this is how much land we've discovered and hence it is our territory". Up in the north there are untamed depths of forest and the highest points discovered even hold snow at some points of the year- the danger posed makes this portion of territory not frequented unless a change in temperature is needed. The cats mostly dwell in the midst of the territory where sand and rock stretch from horizon to horizon. It is typically very hot and sunny all year round but shade is still provided by small forests and spatters of trees that thicken in some areas and thins in others. Mostly, it's grass, shrubs, small trees, and cacti. Down to the south is an almost inhabitable zone of heat and desert with nothing but white sand, sparse grass, cacti, and towering canyon, earth-toned red rock. Most notably throughout the territory are the various human settlements that the felines both avoid and purposefully interact with in equal amounts. After all, a quick run to the pasture's water wells are easier than traveling to one of the few streams nearer to the north for water. The clan cat stronghold is in an abandoned ghost town, felines taking refugee in the dilapidated buildings.
