History
Lostclan was once Hiddenclan, named after their ability to stay hidden from the human world for many moons in a forest that few humans or cats ever went. Hiddenclan, or Lostclan, was founded by a group of cats who were thrown out of their old clans, because of their powers. They formed their own clan in this mysterious set of woods and called themselves Hiddenclan.
Hiddenclan stayed hidden for many moons before a single human child discovered a young warrior by the name of Emberstep. This was in fact, Burntstar's great-great grandfather. The young warrior was seen by the human child, who told many about his story. Few believed him but those who did came looking for Emberstep. The threat became too great and they had to do something.
Starclan sent a prophecy of four cats, one of each element, who would save the clan. They combined their powers and formed an invisible shield around the forest. No one knows for certain what it looks like from the other side because there is no way to get to the other side besides destroying Legacy Rock which is what has kept it invisible all these moons.
From then on, the clan has lived in peace. Burntstar's family fought to defeat the embarrassment and foolishness Emberstep has put upon all those related to him. Now however, the clan faces a new threat. One that is inside the shield.
The clan has been under great stress, a few cats rising saying that their element is the strongest of all. Tensions are high as the clan fights from within. Some wish to separate the clan into the elements while others wish to stay together. Will the clan manage to stay together, united as Lostclan, or separate?
Traditions
▸Gathering: Every full moon, the cats of Lostclan gather at Legend Rock to discuss what is going on in the clan. They discuss things such as large decisions, new warriors, new apprentices, training of the apprentices, new kits, new queens, and remember the deaths of those in the past moon.
▸Element Ceremony: When a kit turns 3 moons and their element and power has been discovered, a ceremony is held to honor the new member of the clan and their power. During the ceremony, the kit receives a gem stone necklace that is the color of their element (orange, fire; blue, water; green, earth; white, air). This also informs the clan of the kit and provides support for the struggling kit and the parents. It is a stressful time when they finally discovered their power and are trying to learn how to use it best. Their parents help the best they can and need the support of the clan.
Territory
▸Legend Rock: In the center of the clan's territory, a large rock stands. There are four sides to the rock, each side holding the symbol of each element. A flame for fire and light, a river for water and ice, a tree for earth and plant, and a breeze for wind and air.
▸Sand Pit: This is a large pit where mentors bring their apprentices to train. It is surrounded by rock to protect the forest around it from the powers of the cats.
▸Burnt Forest: If you couldn't tell by the name, it is a section of the forest that is burnt and has not yet recovered. This was named after Burntstar himself and the ruined forest. He had become angry at a young warrior who disobeyed the warrior code. He ends up setting a small part of the forest on fire. Those of the water and ice element helped to stop it but has yet to recover.
▸Pebble Stream: This is one of the many streams that run through the territory but is the closest to the camp. It has many pebbles and gems inside of it and is where the gems are found for the Elemental Ceremony.
▸Camp: Lostclan's camp is more to the northern part of their territory. It is surrounded by rock and thorn bushes to keep the clan safe. A small pool of water lays in the center of the camp to provide water to all. On the western side of camp, There is a large rock in which is used for meetings such as ceremonies, Lost Rock.
▸Leader's Den: The leader's den is inside of Lost Rock. It is a rather large cave with one nest along with space for small meetings with senior warriors, the deputy, and the medicine cats.
▸Deputy's Den: The deputy's den is located to the right of the Leader's den. It is yet another cave in Lost Rock, smaller but still spacious enough for a nest.
▸Medicine Cat Den: The medicine cat's den is located to the left of the Leader's den. It is not in Lost Rock but is in another cave a few tail lengths away. It has two entrances and three separate caves. The main one holds the many nests for those injured or sick. The slightly smaller one has two nests inside, one for the medicine cat and the other for their apprentice. The other one, has shelves and holes in the wall to store herbs.
▸Warrior's Den: The warrior's den is located in the southern part of camp, it is near the entrance of the camp to protect it. It is yet another cave, larger than every other sen to fit the many warriors. It connects to the apprentice den by a short tunnel.
▸Apprentice's Den: The apprentice's den is slightly smaller than the warrior's den and is a cave. It connects to the warrior's den by a short tunnel.
▸Nursery: The nursery is in the northern part of camp. It is another cave, about the size of the apprentice den. It has padded floor of moss and many nests.
▸Elder's Den: The elder's den is in the western part of camp in yet another cave. It is also padded but is also well lit and aired to make the elders comfortable.
Elements & Powers
▸Your character may only be of one element and have only one of the powers listed underneath of it.
▸Most cats get their element from their father but can be any power underneath that element.
▸Every power has restrictions and these cats are not indestructible.
Air/Wind:
▸Aerokinesis - manipulate the air, wind, and gas but only a certain amount for a period of time before tiring.
▸Aeroportation - teleport using air/wind currents but only for a short distance.
▸Air Mimicry - transform into a cloud of gas, fog, or mist but only for a certain amount of time before tiring and is difficult at first to change back.
▸Deoxygenation - suck up all the oxygen from a place but only a small amount of space for a certain period before tiring.
▸Lung Adaptation - breathe anywhere, this includes underwater but only for a short period of time before tiring.
▸Wind Generation - create blasts of wind but only a certain amount and for a short period of time before tiring.
▸Flight - have the ability to fly at will but only for a certain distance for a certain period of time before tiring.
▸Levitation - the ability to make anything rise up in the air and move around under your control but only smaller objects and for a certain period of time before tiring.
Earth/Plant:
▸Geokinesis - control, manipulate, create, generate and reshape or shape earth/rocks/stones but only a certain amount and for a short period of time before tiring.
▸Earth Mimicry - have a body made up of earth or earthen substance but only for a certain period of time before tiring and is difficult to turn back at first.
▸Fraxikinesis - manipulate burnt matter but only a certain amount for a short period of time before tiring.
▸Geo-Thermokinesis - manipulate, control, and create lava, magma and volcanoes but can only do small volcanoes and a certain amount of lava or magma for a short amount of time before tiring.
▸Granulation - can turn things into sand but only small objects and only for a certain amount of times before tiring.
▸Terraportation - teleport via the earth and earth-based materials but only a short distance and a certain amount of times before tiring.
▸Ecokinesis - manipulation of plants but only a certain amount and for a short amount of time before tiring
▸Healing - ability to heal others with touch but takes longer for larger injuries and illnesses to heal and can only be done for a short time before tiring
Fire/Light:
▸Pyrokinesis - create, control and manipulate also generate fire, flame and heat but only a certain amount and for a short period of time before tiring.
▸Fire Breath - breathe out flames but only for a short period of time and a certain amount before tiring.
▸Fire Mimicry - have a body made up of fire but only for a certain period of time before tiring and is difficult to turn back at first.
▸Heliokinesis - manipulate and control the sun and sunlight but only for a short period of time and a certain amount before tiring.
▸Melting - heat molecules to melt things but only small objects and a certain amount of times before tiring.
▸Self-Detonation - explode self and reform but only a certain amount of times and is difficult to reform.
▸Pyroportation - teleport or move though fire but only a short distance and a certain amount of times before tiring.
▸Invisibility - be unseen but only for a short period of time before tiring.
▸Light Generation - emit blinding light or glow in the dark but only a certain amount and for a short period of time before tiring.
Water/Ice:
▸Hydrokinesis - manipulate and control liquid water and mold it into any desired shape or form but only for a short period of time and a certain amount before tiring.
▸Aquatic Respiration - breathe underwater but only for a short period of time before tiring.
▸Dehydration - absorb water but only to small area and for a short period of time before tiring.
▸Hydroportation - teleport across short or long distances through liquid water but only a short distance and a certain amount of times before tiring.
▸Water Mimicry - turn into liquid water but only for a certain period of time before tiring and is difficult to turn back at first.
▸Water Generation - generate water but only for a short period of time and a certain amount before tiring.
▸Cryokinesis - control ice, snow and other forms of frozen water but only for a short period of time and a certain amount before tiring.
▸Freeze Breath - freeze things in solid ice but only for a short period of time and a certain amount before tiring.
▸Freezing - lower the temperature in kinetic atoms to freezing temperatures but only for a short period of time and a certain amount before tiring.
