Ongoing Plot! Needs more members. No more apprentices. Please do not steal the layout. intro You make your way through the wet, grassy terrain. The scent of wildflowers fill the air, leaving a sweet smell behind. It is unknown how far you've walked, and you don't remember how long you've trekked through this seemingly endless stretch of land. You feel slightly unsettled, the lack of cover further strengthening the feeling. You don't know what could be concealed within the grasses.
Several moments later, a cat approaches you. His pelt sways in the everlasting breeze as he saunters toward you.
"Hello stranger!" He calls out. "What are you doing in BloomClan territory?
Your mind spins, bewildered. What is BloomClan? You think he sounds friendly enough, and you slightly relax. You also notice the blossoms behind his ear and trailing after him. However, you are too confused to answer.
The strange tom's voice takes on a rising, sharper tone. "Not answering? I am Robinstar of BloomClan and I command you to answer." The petals adorning his pelt flutter quickly, but you take no notice.
Agitated, he leaps toward you, pinning you down by the shoulders. His claws slide out, sinking into your fur and drawing blood. You start to panic and frantically think about how to escape- No! You are mesmerized by Robinstar, who's paws are slowly relaxing. His flowers are completely still. His eyes turn a bright blue. He has you in his grip, and his voice slides easily in your mind, taking on an eerie whisper.
"Tell me who you are. What you are doing here. Everything. "
"I am but a lost wanderer who unknowingly walked through your clan's territory," you answer helplessly.
Robinstar dips his head, and releases you from your trance. Glancing forward, you see a larger, reddish golden tabby she cat with the same petals as Robinstar. She matches your curious eyes with her warm amber gaze.
"Robinstar is impatient but nonetheless a good leader. Don't mind him. I am Bloomstar, and I welcome you to BloomClan. StarClan has spoken."
She helps you up, and the two lead you away.

About the Clan BloomClan is a warrior clan in a river valley, and every cat has a 'special ability'- telepathy and the ability to invade/ hold others' thoughts. However, they cannot read minds. When using mind communication, their voice tends to raise pitch and lower to a whisper, often sounding chilling or frightening. This ability is developed and strengthened during apprenticeship, and declines but never disappearing as they reach the age of elders. Their ability is restored when they die and go to StarClan or the Dark Forest. If a kit dies, they will never have this ability. Outsiders don't have it either, unless they are exiled BloomClan cats or half clan. Half Clan cats have a weaker grip on their ability and can't hold cats in trances for long periods of times. Leaders' powers are strengthened at their nine lives ceremony. Some cats are gifted in their mind abilities, some aren't. It varies from cat to cat. Regular cats can mindspeak (without the eerie effect) to a BloomClan cat when the clan cat holds the other in a trance or invades their thoughts.
Their pelts range in color from dark brown to white, but can occasionally be black. Greys and silvers are rare, but still exist. They always have flowers and/ or flower petals flowing off their paws with each step, and these are usually light colors. They seem to like flowers and most of them have flowers or petals tucked in their fur, often behind the ears. The 'paw petals' and slower petals sway and move the direction the wind is moving, but are still and suspended in the air while using their 'special ability.'
Cats range in size, but are generally sharp eared and sharp muzzled, with eyes ranging from amber to green, sometimes blue. Cats eyes turn blue or purple when using their power depending on the original eye color. Blue eyed cats' eyes turn reddish pink. They are generally long legged and wide pawed, with thicker fur on their tails. Other than that, there is no typical look of the clan.
Their names are usually somewhat lyrical. (i. e. Bloomwhisper, Robincall, Willowgrace, etc. )
As a whole, BloomClan is warm, friendly, and welcoming, but they can also be impatient and prideful. However, they aren't afraid of having to resort to fighting or mind invading.

territory BloomClan is situated in a valley between mountains, and is bordered by many flowing bodies of water. Rivers and streams cut through the land, providing a source of fresh water. The area is dominated by grasses both short and long, with varied bushes dotting the entire territory. Groups of small deciduous trees are scattered in some areas, teeming with fresh kill. The territory is fairly large, so patrols and travelling tend to take a bit longer.
------------✿------------
locations + landmarks
*** The Sundown Hills should be replaced with the River Blossom on the second map. Sorry for any confusion. ✿ Bloomtwice - A small group of young trees similar to the Spirit Bloom. Cats visiting the Spirit Bloom often spend the night here on their journey. Be sure not to stay too long, or you may miss moonhigh. ✿ Breezecreek - A small, fast flowing stream that marks one of BloomClan's borders. ✿ Brooksun - A slow moving river on BloomClan's northernmost border. It may have a reddish hue at dawn. ✿ Camp - BloomClan's camp is located near where the Larkstream flows into the Heart Rush, and is relatively open as far as camps go. The dens are mostly underground, with entrances partly concealed by grass. However, the fresh kill pile and various other features are out in the open. There is not much hiding the rest of the camp, and thus it is always guarded. ✿ Creeksand - A sandy area with thin grass showing through. The Creeksand lines the Windcreek on one side and stops a few treelengths from the Woodtremble. Often used for as a training area, most commonly for battle practice. ✿ Flightwind - Refers to the land southwest of the Windcreek, excluding the Creeksand. This area can be prey rich in greenleaf, but the Meadowgrass area is preferred. ✿ Heart Rush - A rapid, somewhat turbulent river that passes by BloomClan's camp. This river is hazardous and best avoided. Kits are forbidden from swimming in this river and it is unknown why the ancient BloomClan built the camp there in the first place. The Heart Rush is calmer to the west of BloomClan's camp, and cats could possibly cross there. Legend has it that it is by the Heart Rush where Bloomstar found where her heart truly lies. This is disputed because she died near the Spirit Bloom. ✿ Hillpoint Downs - Usually referring to the high hills northwest of Lakepond. This area is often home to fleet footed prey. ✿ Lakepond - The source of the Spiritstream, fed by groundwater. This pond and it's surrounding space is often damp. Various medicinal herbs can be found here, and cats tend to limit visits for anything non herb related. ✿ Larkstream - A calmer, small tributary that flows into the Heart Rush. It flows next to the camp, and is safer to swim in. ✿ Leaf-fall Twolegplace - A temporary twolegplace set up by twolegs. It is a hunting lodge, but the cats don't know that. ✿ Lone Copse - A small group of trees south of Moondrip with no specific purpose other than being a marker for location. ✿ Meadowgrass - A general term referring to territory west of the River Blossom. The Meadowgrass is rich in prey during the warmer moons. Wildflowers can be spotted in most of this area. ✿ Mintpool - A small pool surrounded by herbs. This area is primarily visited by medicine cats or cats gathering herbs. The water tastes tangy due to countless herbs being washed in. ✿ Moondrip - A fairly small and thin stream leading to the Spiritstream. It is customary for cats visiting the Spirit Bloom to drink from it before and after their visit. ✿ Moongrove - A small grove of trees on the outskirts of BloomClan territory. BloomClan 'gatherings' are held here, similar to how SkyClan held theirs. The leader may sit on the tallest tree, with the deputy, medicine cat, and medicine cat apprentice gathered at the base. It is fairly easy to see the moon through the foliage. ✿ River Blossom - BloomClan's main river. The River Blossom is constantly used for navigation and hunting purposes. The river is often filled with plants at certain points. ✿ Skypoint - Several mountains to the west of BloomClan territory. ✿ Songbright - A copse north of Lakepond. Many types of birds reside here, and is a common location for hunting. However, once a bird startles, a cat is unlikely to get it back. ✿ Songsweep - A small group of trees on the edge of BloomClan territory northwest of the Spirit Bloom. Is another spot for bird hunting. ✿ Spirit Bloom - A flowering tree close to where the Spiritstream and Moondrip meet. This is where cats go to speak with StarClan outside of dreams. Nine lives and medicine cat ceremonies also take place here. An apprentice must visit the Spirit Bloom in order to become a warrior or full medicine cat. Legend has it that when Bloomstar died, she created the tree with her mind so that others after her could communicate with their ancestors. ✿ Spiritstream - A stream that flows from Lakepond and past the Spirit Bloom. One is forbidden from drinking from it, but this rule is never enforced. ✿ Starhigh - Several mountains to the east of BloomClan territory. ✿ Starsky Tree - A tall tree between Mintpool and the River Blossom. This tree can be used for outlook, climbing practice, or as a landmark. ✿ Sundown Hills - A large group of hills north of the BloomCamp camp. It separates Meadowgrass and Upper Meadowgrass, and can be a good source for prey. ✿ Treelark - Another group of trees, near the Larkstream. A variety of prey animals can be found here. However, one might just encounter a fox or skunk coming in from Starhigh. ✿ Upper Meadowgrass - The Meadowgrass above the Heart Rush and Sundown Hills. ✿ Windcreek - A swift flowing stream next to Creeksand. ✿ Woodtremble - Generally prey rich, but is also known for it's foxes. The foxes here usually come from the west, around Skypoint. all prey rich locations are naturally scarcer in resources when approaching leaf-bare. ------------✿------------

herbs
✿ Borage Leaves- To be chewed and eaten. The plant can be distinguished by its small blue or pink star-shaped flowers and hairy leaves. Great for nursing queens as it helps increase their supply of milk. Also brings down fever. ✿ Burdock Root- A tall-stemmed, sharp-smelling thistle with dark leaves. A Medicine Cat must dig up the roots, wash off the dirt, and chew them into a pulp, which can be applied to rat bites. Cures infection. ✿ Catmint(a.k.a catnip)- A delicious-smelling, leafy plant that's hard to find in the wild; often found growing in Twoleg gardens. The best remedy for greencough. ✿ Chervil- A sweet-smelling plant with large, spreading, fernlike leaves and small white flowers. The juice of the leaves can be used for infected wounds, and chewing the roots helps with bellyache ✿ Cobweb- Spiderwebs can be found all over the forest; be careful not to bring the spider along with you! Medicine Cats wrap it around an injury to soak up the blood and keep the wound clean. Stops bleeding. ✿ Coltsfoot- A flowering plant, a bit like a dandelion, with yellow or white flowers. The leaves can be chewed into a pulp, which is eaten to help shortness of breath. ✿ Comfrey- Identifiable by its large leaves and small bell-shaped flowers, which can be pink, white, or purple. The fat black roots of this plant can be chewed into a poultice to mend broken bones or soothe wounds
✿ Dock- A plant similar to Sorrel. The leaf can be chewed up and applied to soothe scratches. ✿ Feverfew- A small bush with flowers like daisies. The leaves can be eaten to cool down body temperature, particularly for cats with fever or chills.

✿ Horsetail- A tall plant with bristly stems that grows in marshy areas. The leaves can be used to treat infected wounds. Usually chewed up and applied as a poultice. ✿ Juniper Berries- A bush with spiky dark green leaves and purple berries. The berries soothe bellyache and help cats who are having trouble breathing. ✿ Lavender- A small purple flowering plant. Cures fever ✿ Marigold- A bright orange or yellow flower that grows low to the ground. The petals or leaves can be chewed into a pulp and applied as a poultice to wounds. Wash paws thoroughly in running water afterwards. ✿ Poppy Seed- Small black seeds shaken from dried poppy flower, these are fed to cats to help them sleep. Soothes cats suffering from shock and distress. Not recommended for nursing queens. ✿ Poppy Seed- Small black seeds shaken from dried poppy flower, these are fed to cats to help them sleep. Soothes cats suffering from shock and distress. Not recommended for nursing queens. ✿ Stinging Nettle- The spiny green seeds can be administered to a cat who's swallowed poison, while the leaves can be applied to a wound to bring down swelling ✿ Tansy- A strong-smelling with round yellow flowers. Good for curing coughs, but must be eaten in small doses. ✿ Thyme- This Herb can be eaten to calm anxiety and frayed nerves.
✿ Watermint- A leafy green plant found in streams or damp earth. Usually chewed into a pulp and then fed to a cat suffering bellyache ✿ Wild Garlic- Rolling in a patch of Wild Garlic can help prevent infection, especially for dangerous wounds like rat bites ✿ Yarrow- A flowering plant whose leaves can be made into a poultice and applied to wounds or scratches to expel poison.
✿ NOTE ✿ ✿ Deathberries- Red berries that can be fatally poisonous to kits and Elders. They are NOT a medicine! Known to Twolegs as yew berries. BEWARE! ------------✿------------
battle moves ✿ Back kick- Explosive surprise move to catch opponent from behind. Judge opponent’s distance from you carefully; then lash out with your back legs, taking your weight on your front paws. ✿ Belly rake- A fight-stopper. Slice with unsheathed claws across soft flesh of opponent’s belly. If you’re pinned down, the belly rake quickly puts you back in control. ✿ Front paw blow- Frontal attack. Bring your front paw down hard on your opponent’s head. Claws sheathed. ✿ Front paw strike- Frontal attack. Slice downward with your front paw at the body or face of your opponent. Claws unsheathed. ✿ Killing bite- A death blow to the back of the neck. Quick and silent and sometimes considered dishonorable. Used only as a last resort. ✿ Leap-and-hold- Ideal for a small cat facing a large opponent. Spring onto opponent’s back and grip with unsheathed claws. Now you are beyond the range of your opponent’s paws and in position to inflict severe body wounds. A group of Apprentices can defeat a large and dangerous Warrior in this way. It was deployed to great effect against BloodClan’s Deputy, Bone. Watch for the drop-and-roll countermove, and try to jump free before you get squashed. ✿ Drop-and-roll- Used as a countermove against leap-and-hold. Drop to your stomach and roll in an attempt to squash your opponent under your weight and escape their grasp. ✿ Partner fighting- Warriors who have trained and fought together will often instinctively fall into a paired defensive position, each protecting the other’s back while fending off an opponent on either side. Slashing, clawing, and leaping together, battle pairs can be a whirlwind of danger for attackers. ✿ Play dead- Effective in a tight situation, such as when you are pinned. Stop struggling and go limp. When your opponent relaxes his grip, thinking you are defeated, push yourself up explosively. This will throw off an unwary opponent and put you in an attacking position. ✿ Scruff shake- Secure a strong teeth grip on the scruff of your opponent’s neck; then shake violently until he or she is too rattled to fight back. Most effective against rats, which are small enough to throw. A strong throw will stun or kill them.
✿ Teeth grip- Target your opponent’s extremities – the legs, tail, scruff, or ears – and sink in your teeth and hold. This move is similar to leap-and-hold except your claws remain free to fight.
✿ Upright lock- Final, crushing move on already weakened opponent. Rear up on back legs and bring full weight down on opponent. If opponent does same, wrestle and flip him under you. This move makes you vulnerable to the belly rake, so requires great strength and speed.
✿ Water Combat Moves ✿ ✿ Double-Front Paw Slap-Down- Splashes water into the face of the enemy!
✿ Underwater Leg Sweep (Front or Hind)- The opponent will not see it coming under the water's surface so he won't have the chance to brace himself before losing his balance.
✿ Push-Down and Release- Almost all cats panic if they are submerged, while others know how to hold their breath underwater. This move can be used to secure a decisive victory, because its most likely to make the opponent surrender!
✿ Underwater Clinch- Uses a Warrior’s weight to hold the opponent below the surface, with a firm grip that enables the Warrior to bring his enemy spluttering back to the surface before forcing him under again!
✿ Tail Splash- Temporarily blinds the opponent by flicking water into his eyes.
✿ Underwater Push-Off- Crouching and erupting out of the water and into the opponent, using surprise and impact to knock him off balance!
✿ Rushpaw Splash- Using the noise of water splashed at a distance to create a decoy, leaving oppertunity for a surprise attack!
------------✿------------
abilities This is a list and description of some of the abilities BloomClan cats possess. ✿ Block - The ability to tune out any distractions at will, whether it be real or in the mind. Also keeps a cat from penetrating another's thoughts. This can bring all focus to the task at paw, and is useful when hunting. This does not work with Hold or Dreamvisiting, and is a rare ability that not many cats have. ✿ Dreamvisiting - Visiting other cats in their dreams. This ability is similar to Jayfeather's power in Power of Three and Omen of the Stars. ✿ Forced Speech - When a cat uses their mind to force another cat to speak, whether it be with mind or audible words. ✿ Hold - This keeps a cat still and prevents a cat from moving their limbs. It requires immense concentration, and uses a lot of energy. Most cats cannot do this. ✿ Invade - A cat forces their words into another cat's mind. It is like being spoken to, but it is currently impossible to block. Sometimes used when a cat is giving orders, for it is highly unlikely one won't be able to focus on the voice. ✿ Telepathy - This is a common method of communication in BloomClan. A cat can talk to other cats using their mind, and vice versa. It is used very often in situations ranging from battle signals to everyday conversation. A warrior can communicate with cats across the territory with this. Outsiders temporarily gain this ability when mind spoken to by a BloomClan cat. However, induced telepathy is generally much weaker and goes away once the BloomClan cat stops talking. ✿ Vision - This is when a cat forces a scene or vision into the mind of another cat. The scenes are often vivid, and can cause momentary confusion, disorientation, or blindness. ------------✿------------
ceremonies
✿ Apprentices- Performed when a Kit has reached the age of six moons old and is ready to receive his or her Apprentice name and is assigned to a Warrior of the Leader’s choosing to mentor them. It is unlawful for a Kit younger than six moons to become an Apprentice.
Leader: “(Name of Kit), you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to become an Apprentice. From this day on, until you receive your Warrior name, you will be known as (Kit’s name prefix)paw. Your mentor will be (name of Warrior). I hope (name of Warrior) will pass down all he/she knows on to you.”
The Leader calls up the Warrior he/she has chosen as a mentor.
Leader: “(Name of Warrior), you are ready to take on an Apprentice. You had received excellent training from (former mentor), and you have shown yourself to be (quality) and (quality). You will be the mentor of (Apprentice), and I expect you to pass on all you know to ( name of Apprentice).”
The mentor touches noses with the Apprentice, and the Clan greets the new Apprentice by calling out their name. After this, the Apprentice will usually go greet their family, or go see to their mentor.
✿ Medicine Cat Apprentice- Similar to an Apprentice ceremony, however the Apprentice being named will be assigned to the Clan’s current Medicine Cat as their mentor, and after the ceremony both Medicine Cat and Medicine Cat Apprentice must journey to the Moonstone/Moonpool to greet StarClan. In addition, it is the Medicine Cat who holds the ceremony. Same rules apply, an Apprentice must be at least six moons old.
Medicine Cat: “Cats of (Clan), as you know, I will not be around forever. So it's time I took an Apprentice. I have chosen a cat who has shown (virtues or morals). Your next Medicine Cat will be (Apprentice).”
Leader: “(Apprentice), do you accept the post of Apprentice to (Medicine Cat)?”
Apprentice: “I do.”
Medicine Cat: “Then at the half-moon, you must travel to the Moonstone/Moonpool to be accepted by StarClan before the other Medicine Cats.”
Leader: “The good wishes of all (Clan) will go with you.”
The mentor touches noses with the Apprentice, and the Clan greets the new Apprentice.
At the Moonstone/Moonpool
At the next half moon, the Medicine Cat goes with the Apprentice to the Clans’ sacred place to present them to the Warrior ancestors, where the Apprentice confirms their wish to be a Medicine Cat.
Medicine Cat: “(Apprentice), is it your wish to enter the mysteries of StarClan as a Medicine Cat?”
Apprentice: “It is.”
Medicine Cat: “Then come forward.”
Medicine Cat: “Warriors of StarClan, I present you with this Apprentice. (He/she) has chosen the path of a Medicine Cat. Grant (him/her) your wisdom and insight so that (he/she) may understand your ways and heal (his/her) Clan in accordance with your will.”
The Medicine Cat Apprentice touches his/her nose to the Moonstone or drinks from the Moonpool. Then the Medicine Cat and the Apprentice lay down and have a dream from StarClan.
✿ Warriors- Performed when an Apprentice has completed his or her training, when the Leader or their mentor has deemed them ready to receive their Warrior Name. All newly appointed Warriors, by tradition, must hold a silent vigil overnight and watch over the Clan. They are not allowed to speak during their vigil, even to the Leader unless otherwise permitted, and may not sleep until their vigil has ended.
In BloomClan, a visit to the Spirit Bloom is necessary, much like how apprentices in the forest clans visited the Moonstone prior to receiving their warrior name.
Leader: "I, (Leader), Leader of (Clan), call upon my Warrior ancestors to look down on this Apprentice. (He/She) has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as a Warrior in their turn. (Apprentice), do you promise to uphold the Warrior Code and to protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?"
Apprentice: "I do."
Leader: "Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your Warrior name. (Apprentice), from this moment you will be known as (Warrior name). StarClan honors your (quality) and (quality), and we welcome you as a full Warrior of (Clan)."
The Clan cheers the new Warrior’s name and touches noses with them. From that point forward the new Warrior will hold his or her silent vigil while watching over the Clan overnight.
✿ Deputy- When the current Deputy of the Clan steps up as Leader, after the current Leader has either died, retired, or proven unfit for the rank (either followed by demotion to Warrior or exile), a new Deputy must be appointed. Each new Deputy must be named before Moonhigh. Sometimes a current Deputy may die or retire as well, and leaves the rank to someone else of the Leader’s choosing. Other times a Deputy will be demoted or chased into exile if they have broken the Warrior Code. A Deputy must have trained at least one Apprentice to qualify for the rank.
Leader: “I say these words before StarClan, so that the spirits of our Warrior ancestors (or former Deputy name) may hear and approve of my choice. The new Deputy of (Clan) is (Warrior’s name).”
✿ Medicine Cat- Named when the Medicine Cat Apprentice has earned their new name or the current Medicine Cat has passed.
Medicine Cat: "I, (Medicine Cat), Medicine Cat of (Clan), call upon my Warrior ancestors to look down upon this Apprentice. [He/She] has trained hard to understand the way of a Medicine Cat, and with your help [he/she] will serve [his/her] Clan for many moons. (Apprentice), do you promise to uphold the ways of a Medicine Cat, to stand apart from rivalry between Clan and Clan, and to protect all cats equally, even at the cost of your life?"
Medicine Cat Apprentice: "I do."
Medicine Cat: "Then by the powers of StarClan I give you your true name as a Medicine Cat. [insert Medicine Cat Apprentice’s name here], from this moment you will be known as (new name). StarClan honors your (quality) and (quality)."
✿ Elders or retiring cats- Performed only when a Warrior, Medicine Cat, Deputy or Leader is ready or ordered to give up their rank and move to the Elders den due to age, illness, or injury, where they will be cared for by the Clan. Elders may still defend their Clan during battle or raids on the camp if they must or see fit.
Leader: “(Warrior), is it your wish to give up the name of a Warrior and go to join the Elders?”
Warrior: “It is.”
Leader: “Your Clan honors you and all the service you have given to us. I call upon StarClan to give you many moons of rest.”
The Clan will call out the retired Warrior’s name and then they will go to the Elders den.
✿ Name changing- Occurs when there is a purpose for changing a cat’s name, such as due to a sign from StarClan, or when the name no longer suits said cat. A cat may also make a request to the Leader that their or someone else’s name be changed
Leader: "Spirits of StarClan, you know every cat by name. I ask you now to take away the name from the cat you see before you, for it no longer stands for what he/she is. By my authority as Clan Leader, and with the approval of our Warrior ancestors, I give this cat a new name. From this moment on he/she will be known as (new name), for (description of the reason). We honor his/her (quality) and (quality)."
The Leader rests their muzzle on the newly named cat’s head.
The newly named cat will give the Leader’s shoulder a respectful lick and the Clan will cheer the cat’s new name.
✿ Vigil for the Dead-
If a Clan cat dies, their body is taken to the center of the camp, and several of their Clanmates, usually the cat's family members, close friends, and mentor/Apprentice sit vigil for them through the night, sharing tongues for the last time before the Elders bury the cat in the morning.
There can also be vigils for cats without bodies and suspected dead. There is no burial, but the cats still sit vigil.

the warrior code The warrior code must be followed at all times. Failure to do so will be punished accordingly.
✿ 1- Defend your clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from rival clans, but your loyalty must remain with your own, as one day you may meet them in battle. ✿ 2- Do not hunt or trespass on another clan’s territory. ✿ 3 - Elders and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. ✿ 4 - Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life. ✿ 5 - A kit must be at least six five, sometimes four (according to Bloomstar) moons old to become an apprentice. ✿ 6 - Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name. ✿ 7- A cat cannot be made a deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice. ✿ 8 - The deputy will become clan leader when the leader dies or retires. ✿ 8 - The deputy will become clan leader when the leader dies or retires. ✿ 9 - After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh. ✿ 10 - Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats. ✿ 11 - No warrior may neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if that kit is from a different clan. ✿ 12 - An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or it is necessary for self-defense. ✿ 13 - A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.

BloomClan's history
Once there was a time, when no cats had mindspeak and to have it was considered not normal.
Out of the meadow walked a strange cat. She was different from most, for she had the unknown mindspeak. Petals flew off her paws with every step, fluttering in the air, dependent on the breeze. Her name was Bloom Whisper, and she was an outcast. She was captivating but others were fearful of what she could do.
Bloom Whisper lived in these lands for as long as anyone could remember. Yet, nobody was risking their life to talk with this strange cat. She was isolated because of their differences, and shunned for nobody knew who she truly is.
Then one day, a cat approached her. One cat became two cats, which in turn became more cats. They were entranced, wondering, how one could be so different yet so similar at the same time. Bloom filled the others with hope, and offered her paw in friendship.
Eventually, word spread. Now, not everybody liked Bloom. Some wanted to get rid of her. So it was that fateful day, that Bloom was attacked by a great force of cats. She was strong, but not strong enough. On her deathbed, she told the others that even though she will depart, her spirit will always remain. That she will be watching. Guiding. Leading the way.
Finally, she closed her eyes and gave up her body. A flowered tree grew in her place, near the constant rushing of water where she made her home. And when her friends came to visit, she gifted them her powers and they formed a clan.
That's how BloomClan came to be, and we will honor our Bloomstar forever.

rules ✿ 1- Please follow all the forum and any possible ghost rules. Failure to do so would result in being removed and reported. ✿ 2 - Please be active. Do not join and then disappear for weeks without warning. Life is a thing, but try to roleplay each of your characters at least once per week. Twice a week for high ranks and characters important to current plots. StarClan/ Dark Forest/ Outsider cats do not need to be roleplayed unless of course they are significant to the plot. If you are going to be gone, PM Twiia. ✿ 3 - Every post you make should have at least three sentences per character. It is okay if your posts are shorter, but try not to make it happen too often. While this rule can be stretched, one liners are not going to be acceptable by any means. ✿ 4 - It is preferred if there are few or no spelling errors or typos in your posts. Txt Tlk is not permitted, except in OOC chat. Even then, keep the txt tlk to a minimum. Anything that is out of character should be separated from roleplay. Using ( ) [ ] { } for out of character is okay. ✿ 5 - No powerplaying, godmodding, or anything of the like. It is rude to the person on the receiving end and everyone else. ✿ 6 - Keep your cats somewhat realistic. I don't mind unrealistic markings, but nothing like purple fur and eyes that change from molting orange to rainbow. ✿ 7 - Kits and apprentices cannot have mates or kits. ✿ 8 - This roleplay is accepting toward LGBTQ+ characters. If you have a problem with this, then you can leave. However, please don't make the sexuality of your characters the only thing that defines them. ✿ 9 - No Mary Sues or Gary Stus. When making a character, please give them flaws and a personality. Your character cannot be the best at everything. At the same time, do not make your characters overly tragic with a depressing backstory and no positive traits. ✿ 10 - Do not make major plots without discussing it first. If something happening will affect the whole clan, or a good part of it, please PM Twiia. If you want to create a minor plot (i. e. predator attacks a patrol), then please discuss it with the plot participants. Same goes for wounding or killing other characters. Make sure the other person is okay with it before proceeding. We have a BloomClan private message set up and we'll add you when you join. ✿ Character start limit is five living cats and an infinite amount of dead cats. Of course characters can die in roleplay, so you may make more. If you want to add a character, PM Twiia. ✿ Kit stealing. We don't steal kits here, but we're okay with it as it provides an interesting plot. Kit thieves are welcome to come and ask to roleplay snagging a few kits. Just be prepared as BloomClan will fight back. But the stealing itself is allowed, provided everyone is polite outside of roleplay.
Please follow the rules. Breaking the rules will result in a strike. Three strikes and you are removed. You are welcome to rejoin in a week, or the next time the clan opens if it is closed. If you have been out five times, you are banned from the roleplay.
Every member has three flowers by their name. With every strike, a flower is removed. When your last flower is removed, you are out.
If you have at least one flower left, then they can be regained after nine weeks.

allegiances ✿ BloomClan ✿
✿ Leader ✿ ✿ Robinstar - 55 moons - Twiia
Robinstar is a reddish brown spotted tabby tom with a darker back. His paws and tail are tipped black, and a thin white stripe runs along his left haunch. He is rather small and lean, built for hunting. His eyes are yellow and often narrowed. A small cluster of orange blossoms behind his ear match the color of his petals. He walks with a slight, barely noticeable limp. - Robinstar is generally friendly, quick to strike up conversation. He sometimes appears almost carefree, without any stress. Despite this, he has an impatient side that often shows itself at the worst of moments. He doesn't trust very easily and may pick fights with strangers. When conversing, he'll never tell the whole story, because he stopped caring long ago. - Robinstar is physically hindered after a fight against badgers and moons of the warrior life. He has mastered the Block and Hold along with the other BloomClan abilities, but his skills and health are slowly declining. He has four lives left. ✿ Deputy ✿ ✿ (Will be chosen by Robinstar)
✿ Medicine Cat ✿ ✿ Nightleaf - 41 moons - @sapphire646 - Mentor to Willowpaw
Nightleaf has a lithe body with black fur. Her paws are white and her eyes are a bright green.
- Nightleaf is caring for her clan and always ready to help others when needed. This means she just wants the best for her clan. However, she is usually snappish and sarcastic at others while she is trying to do her work and when others don’t listen to what she tells them to. This makes her resort to use her abilities on them.
- Nightleaf’s abilities include the ‘Hold’ ability and the ‘Vision’ ability, which she thought would help in her medicine cat duties. The ‘Hold’ ability would help her keep her patient still while she forced-feed them their herbs if they didn’t want to while her ‘Vision’ ability would help her send pictures to her patient of what would happen if they didn’t listen to her. However, she has concentrated on trying to master her ‘Hold’ ability for a long time that she sort-of forgot to train to her other abilities. Her ‘Telepathy’ ability is weak.
✿ Warriors ✿ ✿ Orchidbloom - 40 moons - Napoleon
Orchidbloom is a dark-brown she-cat with green eyes. She is relatively large, but has a clearly feminine build.
- Orchidbloom is a caring cat, but after several disagreements with the leadership of BloomClan about everything from mentorship choices to clan law. Following a particularly bad argument, Orchidbloom left the clan entirely and, despite countless search parties, managed to remain being located.
- Orchidbloom had a tenuous relationship with Robinstar for a very long time. She also has remained very good at utilizing the abilities unique to BloomClan cats, and has exceptional aptitude at Mind Invading.
Orchidbloom is Duskpaw’s mother. However, Duskpaw wasn’t raised by her and Orchidbloom had already deserted the clan by the time Duskpaw became an apprentice. Therefore, Duskpaw does not know this. He knows of the she-cat who abandoned the clan but not who Orchidbloom really is.
✿ Redstrike - 37 moons - Honcho
Tall semi-muscular built tom with big paws and a long tail. He is a red colored tom with a mix of orange in there too. Have scars on his muzzle, leg, and one of his ears are torn.
-
He is always looking after his clan. Always will be loyal no matter what and would die protecting it,
✿ Cherrywhisper - 34 moons - ashfeather - Mentor to Spottedpaw
Cherrywhisper is a short, calico she-cat, with the majority of her ginger and black markings found on her back and top of her head. She has kind, sea-green eyes, a small, lean frame and a long, thin tail. While she makes for a good hunter, being fast and light on her feet, her lack in strength makes her ill-suited for fighting. She loves to adorn her pelt with various coloured flowers, their contrasting colours mirroring the contrasting colours of her pelt. Her petals are multicoloured and often pale in colour.
-
Cherrywhisper is an extremely kind individual who tends to keep to herself and shy away from conflict. She always attempts to help those in need, but can be naive and overly trusting of those who may not deserve it. Her tendency to avoid confrontation can also mean that she is sometimes pushed around by others and doesn't voice her opinion. She has an unwavering loyalty to both her clan and those she cares for, and has a motherly-like presence.
-
Eaglestrike is her brother. They also had another sibling, a sister called Fernpaw, who died of illness while they were all still apprentices. Surprisingly, Cherrywhisper shows the rare aptitude for the ability, 'Block'. This came about due to her shy personality and tendency to avoid conflict; oftentimes, she would attempt to literally block other cats out of her mind, developing the ability as a result. Despite her strength in 'Block', she finds it quite difficult to perform any other abilities - even basic 'Telepathy'.
✿ Eaglestrike - 34 moons - ashfeather
Eaglestrike is a tall and powerful, gray tabby with piercing, green eyes. His muscular body and broad shoulders make him an adept fighter, and what he lacks in speed he makes up for in endurance. He normally will not decorate his pelt with flowers, not because he has anything against the tradition - in fact, he will often admire all the different flowers used by his clanmates - but just because he doesn't feel that it would suit him. His petals tend towards the warmer spectrum of colours, mainly consisting of reds and oranges.
-
Eaglestrike is an honest and loyal tom cat, fighting for what he believes in and fiercely protecting those he cares for. In particular, he has always watched over his shy sister, Cherrywhisper. While he can be quite kind, he is not outwardly friendly and instead maintains an almost professional relationship with his clanmates, not letting many cats into his life and trusting very few. He is not afraid to stand up for what he believes in or feels is right, and doesn't take well to betrayal. While he is quite calm and collected, he has a raging hot temper if cats push him too far, although luckily that is rare.
-
Cherrywhisper is his sister. They also had another sibling, a sister called Fernpaw, who died of illness while they were all still apprentices. Eaglestrike has perfected the abilities 'Invade' and 'Telepathy', although neglected to develop any others. He can communicate with cats over long distances as a result.
✿ Ashfeather - 32 moons - ashfeather
Ashfeather is a blue-gray she-cat with ice-blue eyes. She is of average size, with a lean frame that makes for an adept hunter; her agility and speed often make up for what she lacks in strength. She makes a point to keep her long fur in good condition, making sure to keep it well-groomed. She tends to shy away from decorating her pelt with flowers, although she does like to keep a couple, small flowers behind her ears. Her petals are a light blue, matching her eyes.
-
Ashfeather is apathetic, blunt and often sarcastic. She takes great pride in both her ability to hunt as well as her appearance, and often looks down on those that are unable to perform to the same standard as her. And yet despite her cold personality, she could be considered a valuable addition to the clan. She is loyal to the clan, a skilled hunter and a vicious fighter. More surprisingly, perhaps, is her soft spot for kits – somehow, they never receive the brunt of her cold personality or quick temper. It takes a lot to win her trust, and so often her loyalty isn't shown.
-
Ashfeather mainly focused on improving her 'Vision' and 'Telepathy' ability during her time as an apprentice and young warrior, causing her other abilities to practically become non-existent but those two to become particularly strong. Interestingly, she has managed to work out a way to minimise how vivid her visions are, allowing her to be able to use the ability for activities such as training, where she can show apprentices how they should be moving during a battle/hunt through a vision. Her focus on perfecting 'Vision', however, means that while she can perform 'Telepathy', she can only use it when within close range to the cat she wants to speak to.
✿ Cloudheart - 31 moons - ashfeather
Cloudheart is a pure white tom cat with bright blue eyes. He has a large, muscular body, standing at an intimidating height, making him a powerful ally in combat. His bright coloring, however, makes it harder for him to hunt or sneak up on an enemy. He always tries to keep his fur in good condition but more often than not forgets to actually groom it, so it's often ruffled and unkempt. By the end of an average day, most, if not all, of his flowers and petals will have fallen out of his pelt. His petals are an assortment of blues and reds.
-
Cloudheart, despite his powerful stature, is not an aggressive cat but is quite the flirt. He is very light-hearted and courageous, and is a fun individual to be around or go on adventures with, but his carefree nature can also land him in trouble if he doesn't think or care about the consequences. Surprisingly, while he may not show it, he is actually quite a guarded cat and hides many of his deeper and more serious emotions under his carefree exterior, having a lot of fun with other cats but never really letting them see any deeper. Once he does care about someone else, however, he is fiercely loyal.
-
Although Cloudheart excels when it comes to physical strength, his abilities are not as strong; he can perform basic 'Telepathy' with relative ease but beyond that, he finds it difficult to do much else, only dabbling in 'Invade' every so often - and only due to it having some similarities with 'Telepathy'.
✿ Rufflefur - 30 moons - Twiia
Rufflefur is a dusky she cat in various shades of brown ranging from the average brown to almost black. Her eyes are ringed and her tail a solid black. Her mottled pelt still retains a kitlike, fluffy quality. She has no visible marks due to her fur. Rufflefur's eyes are a yellow green and her petals yellow orange, but she currently has no flowers. - If you've met an overly prideful BloomClan cat, then you've definitely met Rufflefur. She loves to tell tales of her accomplishments, even if it isn't much. Even stretching the truth if necessary. She has a big ego, and being Robinstar's kit doesn't help. She may come off as insensitive, but she can't find a stopping point. She likes to speak with lots of details and describe everything, and so might be slightly annoying. But her loyalty and devotion sort of, but not really cancels it out. Despite her seemingly self centered attitude, she tries her best to do her part and will defend anyone. She will brag. She does irritate most cats. But what's really going on in her mind? What is she trying to achieve? - Rufflefur is secretly afraid of failure and detests being laughed at, so she tries to hide it. However, she doesn't really know what she's doing. ✿ Owlfeather - 27 moons - tigerlememe
Golden tabby she-cat with bright green eyes. - Outgoing and friendly personality ✿ Flaxtrill - 20 moons - Twiia
Flaxtrill is a pale brown classic tabby she cat who's on the small side. White fur runs down her belly and collects at her tail, which is completely white other than two rings of brown just above the base. Her toes are white, which end in shorter, hooked claws. Her eyes are a bright green that reveals anything and everything. An entire flower crown consisting of various wildflowers always adorns her head, often changing. Her petals are multicolored. - The cat known as Flaxtrill rarely sits still and would rather stay up all day. Flaxtrill is optimistic and energetic, willing to do anything even if the request is questionable. She wouldn't mind doing patrols all day, or guard the dirtplace for an entire moon, if it means she could be praised. She craves the attention because it makes her feel better, for some reason. She cannot keep a secret by any means and her lies are usually pitiful. However, she is still discovering herself. - Flaxtrill sometimes behaves as if she has no mind of her own, and sadly that's true. She will willingly try to fulfill all requests, whether or not it be successful. Overall she could be a nice and friendly cat to know, but don't tell her anything important until the last minute. Also, you are welcome to make her do apprentice duties, which she will dutifully complete. ✿ Nettlefly - 20 moons - Twiia - Mentor to Duskpaw
Nettlefly is a brown spotted tabby tom with lighter paws. His muzzle and belly are white, along with thin, hardly noticeable streaks through his pelt. His frame is tall and thin, with a sort of elegant look. His eyes are hazel- green with gold flecks and his petals are deep red. He occasionally has a flower somewhere in his pelt, but recently he's been going without it. - Nettlefly is often a nervous wreck with a bad habit of forgetting. He often doubts himself and doesn't have that much faith in himself. He tries to be more reserved and doesn't start many conversations. He will however, speak when spoken to. Stumbling on words and wishing he could leave. As a result, he tries to conceal his thoughts to avoid seeming like a mouse-brain. At least he doesn't have much of a temper and is can be considered level headed. - Contrary to what his figure might suggest, his hunting skill is rather poor. His strengths lie in his mind, or rather, someone else's mind. When mind speaking, or the like, he seems less anxious and more in control of the situation. He is currently working more on the Hold skill, something he only recently figured out how to do. He's also gay, but that's currently still secret. ✿ Breezewhisker - 20 moons - @negatorri
Breezewhisker is a muscular, slightly stocky tom with grimy white fur. His eyes are an unimpressing shade of amber, but he does look extremely intimidating and could easily be mistaken as a figure of authority. He has all the usual physical traits of a Bloomclan cat, long legged and wide-pawed.
- Breezewhisker seemed to have been born with the ability to Dreamvisit. Breezewhisker can be classified as annoying by all means. He loves to flirt, go on adventures, and just act childishly all around. He tries to dodge responsibility whenever he can, but at least his jokes are on point. Many members of the clan disapprove of his laziness, bad behaviour, and recklessness. He is very impulsive and loves to act out to impress his fellow clanmates. Usually Breezewhisker is never working and never on patrol. He hates others bossing him around, after all. Breezewhisker is quite a fun tom to be around but eventually his lack of responsibility will make you wonder whether it’s worth it to be friends with him. When in trouble, he likes to blame things on others.
✿
✿ Apprentices ✿ ✿ Willowpaw - 9 moons - @negatorri - Apprentice to Nightleaf
Willowpaw is a long-legged, long furred pale brown tabby with an unusually tall height. Her eyes are a slightly pale but bright green, fitting her lighter coloured brown tabby fur. Her appearance is rather typical of Bloomclan, besides her lithe but slightly awkward build.
- Willowpaw prefers to not talk much, but she seems nice enough. She is most skilled at the Vision and Invade abilities for no particular reason and is pretty much average or below average with the rest. She is quite intelligent for her age, but then again what is intelligence if you never show it? Willowpaw likes to communicate by telepathy if she ever even does communicate, and she can seem eerie or creepy sometimes as she does like to surprise others. She isn’t very fond of interacting or playing with others, and doesn’t like to waste time. She always comes off as cold. Also, her first impressions are terrible.
✿ Spottedpaw - 8 moons - @sapphire646 - Apprentice to Cherrywhisper
Spottedpaw is a tortoiseshell she-cat with black fur and cream coloured patches all over her body. She has a fluffy tail and bright amber eyes.
- Spottedpaw is caring and loyal to her clan and the Warrior Code. She tries to help her clan as much as possible but she is sometimes clumsy.
- She came to Bloomclan when she was just 4 moons old. When she became an apprentice, she thought that if Bloomclan took her in, she was just a burden and an extra mouth to feed. This is why she tries to help her clan, even though sometimes she doesn’t really help at all thanks to her clumsiness. She only knows the abilitiy ‘Telepathy’, but it is weak.
✿ Duskpaw - 8 moons - napoleon - Apprentice to Nettlefly
Duskpaw is a slender blue-gray tom with a solid shade throughout his pelt. He has pond-colored blue eyes and black, stringy whiskers.
- Duskpaw is a kind, supportive young cat. He strives to help wherever he can in BloomClan's day to day functions. He seeks to become a warrior as soon as possible and cares very much about his apprenticeship and training. Occasionally, Duskpaw has periods of shyness and isolation, but it never lasts too long.
- Duskpaw has a natural but very basic understanding of Dreamvisiting. On several occasions, other apprentices have mentioned to him that they saw a cat like him in their dreams, never knowing if it was truly him. He doesn't know how to harness this power, but is aware of it.
✿
✿ Queens ✿ ✿
✿ Kits ✿ ✿
✿ Elders ✿ ✿
------------✿------------ cats outside the clan ✿ Outsiders ✿✿✿ StarClan ✿✿ Bloomstar - Twiia Bloomstar is a golden mackerel tabby she cat with a reddish tint to her coat. Her muzzle, belly, and right paw are white. She is tall and thin, with medium length fur that flies easily off her pelt. Her eyes are a bright amber, almost matching her petals which are reddish orange in color. A single red flower is set in front of her left ear, which is shredded on the side. Apart from that, all the scars from her previous life are gone. - Bloomstar was a zealous and charismatic cat, but seasons of being dead have taken her far. She now exhibits a snarky, sarcastic side to her personality, and rarely feels pride in the success of her successors. She gets bored easily and complains a lot while pacing around StarClan. She is restless and longs for some action, but holds back the urge. - She might as well be going mad and seems to enjoy sending vague prophecies and visions. However, how BloomClan seems to worship the ground she once walked on somewhat disgusts her. She doesn't want to cause misfortune to the clan she created, but at the same time, something needs to happen and she might just be breaking. ✿ Paleflax - TwiiaPaleflax is a tall, lanky pale brown she cat. Her pelt features many white speckles along her sides, giving her a spotted appearance. Her nose is a pale pink, with a white spot above it. Her eyes are blue in color and her petals are often a sickly white. She often has drooping, wilted yellow or white petals behind her ears. Her voice is raspy and ill sounding, but she is otherwise healthy. Her pelt is always slightly ruffled, even more so if the wind is blowing. - Paleflax speaks quickly and likes to get straight to the point with short, sharp responses. She likes to move around and has a lot of energy. She is stubborn and doesn't like being pushed around, which eventually led to her downfall. Loyalty is her strong point, even if she is unwilling. But her readiness to put herself in danger to spare her clanmates has made herself a symbol for reckless and unnecessary behavior. Unlike some (i. e. Rufflefur), she feels that overconfidence has no place in a warrior. - Paleflax died leading a patrol against foxes near Woodtremble. She was getting old and at that point, should have retired to the elders den. However, she felt that she was still fit enough to remain a warrior, so she did. Her body gave up on her and so she was killed. She may be somewhat related to Flaxtrill, but it is unknown. ✿ Fernpaw - ashfeatherFernpaw is a short, calico cat, very similar in appearance to her sister, with the same kind, green eyes. Because she died when she was an apprentice (around 8 moons old), she is not fully grown and is therefore smaller than the average cat. She always used to decorate her pelt with all kinds of coloured flowers, matching her multicoloured petals, and so always appears with this assortment of flowers even in Starclan.
-
Fernpaw was always the 'fun' one among her siblings, always dragging them on adventures, her infectious laugh following them all the way. She was a confident and bubbly cat, contrasting her sister's shy personality and brother's serious nature. When she fell ill during their apprenticeship, she tried to remain light-hearted, even while knowing deep down what was in store for her. After dying, she watched down on her siblings with pride, although sometimes agonised over their lack of adventure. She has always been frustrated that she never became a warrior, and having to watch down on the clan without actually being able to do anything irritates her beyond all else.
-
Having died when she was an apprentice, Fernpaw only has a basic understanding of the Telepathy ability, although she had began to develop Dreamvisiting. She is often frustrated that her abilities do not match those of the other full-grown Starclan cats, and has developed some jealousy because of it.

[anyone up for a roleplay?]

(Sure! You can start first!)

||Here's some starters, more or less.||
» ROBINSTAR
It was dawn, only a while after. For the first time in a long time, Robinstar wasn't up and about. Pressing matters were on his mind and they took over his body, keeping him up all night. He sensed that his time will come soon, and it was rather problematic that he hasn't named a deputy yet. He had been temporarily assuming the duties, but he wouldn't be around forever.
Time to get up and sort the patrols, he thought to himself as he exited his den. His petals hung stiffly, as if they too had been questioning.
» RUFFLEFUR
"Fox dung!" The mottled brown she cat cursed under her breath.
Rufflefur was in pain. For reasons unknown to StarClan, she jumped into the Heart Rush at moonhigh and tried to swim. She had managed alright, in spite of being slapped by currents and bashed against jagged rocks and surfaces. However, her pelt was streaked with blood and open wounds, which was evidence of less than wise judgement.
Oh well. A new adventure, a new story to tell. And what a story!
Behind her grimace was a smug smile, written with obvious pride. However, visiting the medicine den would be a smart decision.
Nightleaf! She called out with her mind, trying to reach out telepathically. You won't believe what happened last night.
The she cat's paws took her to the medicine den, tracking small amounts of blood through the camp.
@sapphire646 ||I know that character interaction makes roleplay, but I hope this doesn't sound too stupid.||
» FLAXTRILL
The cool, early morning breeze blew through her pelt, fluffing it up. The clouds were high in the sky, thin and wispy. Flaxtrill felt just as restless as always, but this time the small pale she cat wasn't bouncing about. Something was weighing her in.
"Something feels... chilling," the warrior whispered to no cat in particular. "Like the sky is falling on me."
She shook her head, coming back to her senses. She had a duty- to serve BloomClan. Today, that meant sentry duty until either sunhigh or Robinstar tells her that she is finished. Whichever came first. Her optimism returned and she sat up straight, eyes alert and focused. As alert and focused as Flaxtrill can ever be. Her bright gaze flew over the camp, and finally returned to the sky.
||Hunting and border patrols will probably be sent out soon. The deputy will be chosen after another page of roleplay.||

'What is it Rufflefur?!' Nightleaf snapped to the warrior telepathically. She was wrapping some of the remaining fresh herbs in leaves before leaf-bare could destroy them. Nightleaf had a feeling that this leaf-bare was going to be a harsh one. 'Why are you calling my name annoyingly?!' Nightleaf pressed on.
(There's nothing stupid about character interaction for the start of a roleplay. Also, sorry if I'm bad at role-playing. This is my first time.)

Willowpaw - Camp
Willowpaw was tired. She hated the weather and she just wanted to sleep, but so far the whole world seemed to be boring her to the point where she just couldn’t. Padding around camp aimlessly but making no eye contact with others, the lanky tabby apprentice gave off a slight air of annoyance for no particular reason.
She decided to see what others were doing, as that seemed to be the only thing she could do at the moment. Willowpaw suddenly turned her head to Rufflefur, who seemed to be injured and limping to the medicine den. Once Rufflefur had entered, she quietly moved to the entrance. She saw an annoyed Nightleaf, and knew the two were talking telepathically.
She’s injured, probably doing some stunt. I’m guessing she fell on some sharp rocks or something? Her pelt’s soaking wet, it’s not too hard to figure out what happened...
Willowpaw decided to pitch in, as she had nothing else to do. Usually she wouldn’t communicate with her mind as she did or even talk out loud, but obviously this was some sort of exception because she wans’t occupied (as she always was).

|| Sorry for the poof, as I was at school.||
» ROBINSTAR
Robinstar slunk around the camp clearing and finally settled down near the brook flowing lazily downstream. He dipped his head at Flaxtrill, who could probably use some sleep.
"You are free to leave now," he whispers into her mind. "You've been guarding the camp since sundown yesterday."
Robinstar secretly admired Flaxtrill's loyalty, but sometimes felt that the she cat needed to live a little. Besides, who would be more fit for night guard duty? Perhaps Rufflefur and Breezewhisker deserved it more. They really need a lesson in responsibility and duty to the clan.
» RUFFLEFUR
The proud she cat didn't flinch, for she was used to it. Not many seemed to like her attitude, which is all the more irritating.
"StarClan doesn't care if I'm annoying," Rufflefur retorted in her mind. "After all, I managed to do something not many that I know of have done! I swam in the Heart Rush! I actually did it, and made it about three treelengths! It was very rocky and there were so many obstacles, and I think I nearly died. But I did it, which is awesome, and now everyone should know! Maybe it should be a part of training! I could definitely teach Heart Rush swimming, don't you think oh medicine cat?" She paused, thinking for a rare moment. "Although, I think my pelt feels kind of tingly and there is blood streaming down my face. Can you do me a favor and patch me up?"
The mottled warrior licked a gash on her flank, unaffected.
@sapphire646 ||You weren't bad, not at all. I enjoyed reading your reply and responding to it. I also apologize for how cringeworthy this response is, and I hope Rufflefur's annoying personality doesn't affect anyone outside of roleplay. This is rather difficult for me, trying to play a character that isn't supposed to be very likable. ||
» FLAXTRILL
While Robinstar did let her go, she wasn't going to abandon her post yet. Who knows what could happen? Foxes could attack! The waterss could flood! Any existing kits could drown in the river!
I think I better stay until my leader has something else for me to do, concluded Flaxtrill. Then I could be useful. She hopped on three legs, lifting a different paw with each small jump. Anticipating Robinstar's orders, she found herself unable to stay still.
"It's okay," Flaxtrill replied quickly. "I don't mind watching over the camp, I really don't. Is there anything else I should do at the moment?"
||Who's up for a hunting patrol? Who would rather mark the borders? I feel like that could provide some early action. Maybe a fox is spotted near the wood, or a sign found on the outskirts of the territory?||

Nightleaf rolled her eyes and went to fetch some cobwebs. ‘If you get yourself injured like that, I don’t think that you should be teaching things like swimming.’ Nightleaf scoffed, returning with cobwebs and some wild garlic. “I don’t understand why you enjoy doing these... stunts.” Nightleaf said aloud. Her Telepathy abilities were beginning to weaken but she didn’t want to say that out loud to Rufflefur. She applied the cobwebs to the wouds of the she-cat. “Garlic prevent infections.” She reminded herself. Suddenly, the medicine cat caught a smell, which was at the entrance of the medicine den. “Willowpaw?” She asked.
Spottedpaw tried to stifle a yawn, as she padded out from the apprentices den. She wanted to help the clan even more, now that she was an apprentice. She looked around and noticed Robinstar staring at Flaxtrill proudly. ‘I want him to look like that to me too!’ She exclaimed, padding over to the leader. “Robinstar!” She called loudly, forgetting that it was still moonhigh.

Willowpaw smirked once more and was readying herself to pad away, but after she heard Nightleaf’s voice she stopped. “Yes?” She asked out loud. What was Nightleaf asking anyway... She really had to get back to pacing around camp aimlessly, she thought with mike amusement at her own predicament. Obviously Willowpaw needed something to do, and she couldn’t just walk away. Being an apprentice was absolutely useless. She liked to do useful things, but wasn’t exactly sure what was useful. She also didn’t like to tell others that she wanted to do something, because talking was an absolute and total waste of time. Peeking in the den and looking at Rufflefur’s injuries, Willowpaw sighed. “You could use dock leaves... it looks like she has plenty of silly little scratches." She mumbled to herself with a little spiteful chuckle.

Nightleaf flicked her ear when she heard Willowpaw’s suggestion. She was about to make a rude retort to Willowpaw before she recognise the small scratches next to Rulffefur’s open wounds. She sighed and padded away to grab some dock leaves. Nightleaf didn’t like it when other cats tried to help in with her duties. After all, this was her job. But she couldn’t help but be impressed by Willowpaw’s sharp eyes. Nightleaf shook her head. She came back with a few dock leaves. “I need to collect more.” She murmured, beginning to add garlic’s juices to the wounds before applying the leaves to Rufflefur’s scratches. “Do you want some poppy seeds to help you sleep?” She asked the warrior. ‘I heard what you said before.’ Nightleaf told the apprentice telepathically while waiting for Rufflefur’s answer. ‘Thanks for the suggestion.’ The medicine cat reluctantly thanked.

Willowpaw’s eyes grew wide. Nightleaf had heard her? Ducking her head in embarrassment and suddenly feeling extremely mortified, the apprentice tried to give a stiff nod. Nightleaf was her superior, and she really didn’t mean to do anything. Willowpaw quickly composed herself. No problem, I guess... She told the medicine cat telepathically while looking down at her paws. Willowpaw really did need to do some apprentice duties... she was hanging around camp like a silly elder. What could she do anyways? She never talked to any other apprentice anyway, so she was never in ‘the know’ about everything. Perhaps it was for the better if she tried to, hmm... socialize? Willowpaw inwardly sighed. She wasn’t really interested in that. “Goodbye...” Willowpaw mumbled as she briskly padded away. Now she just had to find something else to do or someone to observe.
