Sundown! Where water runs down the sides and cats could sleep in more or less dry nests! The mottled warrior was thankful that StarCLan had made such a place for the warriors of BloomClan. A refuge of sorts for when the camp floods, which happens every now and then. Rufflefur rolled her eyes in amusement before she leaped into the air with joy and merriment. "This place is dry and perfect for our new camp!" The she cat declared, perhaps expecting some sort of unamused reaction. "Ah come on! You guys aren't funny at all! Let's go." In spite of her enthusiasm, Rufflefur's pelt was in a less than cheerful state. She bent down and licked her flanks which were plastered in mud. Some of the earth wound up on her tongue, and she flicked it in disgust. Her unruly fur was dripping and she didn't bother to shake off the water. » NETTLEFLY | SUNDOWN HILLS | ORCHIDBLOOM ˜*•. ˜”*°•.˜”*°••°*”˜.•°*”˜ ˜”*°•.˜”*°••°*”˜.•°*”˜ .•*˜˜*•. ˜”*°•.˜”*°••°*”˜.•°*”˜ Nettlefly approached the downs slowly. His eyes glanced down at his paws and he hunched over as if he were carrying the entire fresh kill pile. In truth, he was carrying nothing but his nerves. He made a mental note of the cats he saw arriving. If any cat was missing... What would Robinstar do to me? Would I be exiled? Would I lose StarClan's blessing? The warrior's anxiousness grew, despite having arrived at Sundown. The camp wouldn't get flooded out, but there were different troubles. He knew that whatever dangers there were at Woodtremble and Treelark wouldn't just go away. Soon they would come back. He shivered in fear for the future. Focus, Nettlefly. Count the cats. One, two, three, four... He took a deep breath and counted. He turned to Orchidbloom. " How many cats did you count?" He asked telepathically. The pale warrior felt may have been wrong in his counting, so he wanted to seek confirmation. -bluestorm-» ROBINSTAR | SUNDOWN HILLS | NIGHTLEAF ˜*•. ˜”*°•.˜”*°••°*”˜.•°*”˜ ˜”*°•.˜”*°••°*”˜.•°*”˜ .•*˜˜*•. ˜”*°•.˜”*°••°*”˜.•°*”˜ Robinstar gripped the prey he carried in his jaws tightly, afraid it would fall out and become unfit to eat. When the Clan settled down at Sundown, they may not have enough energy to hunt. The weather was awful and the temporary camp needed sorting out. He would also need to welcome the loner to the Clan. He preferred to conduct such business at the camp when it wasn't all washed out and terrible. The leader felt stressed, even more so with his age. Four more lives until he would be off to see StarClan, if they'd take him. He thought about all the strange occurrences this season and doubt rose in his mind. How could StarClan have sent such calamities to their descendants? The flash flood was not the worst of it. Worst of all, it appeared that everything had happened for a reason, and everything was connected. He reached out for Nightleaf's mind. " I'm going to the Spirit Bloom," he whispered. " The foxes, the flood, being driven from camp- it all had to happen for a reason. There's something not quite right about this. I haven't seen anything like this in five lifetimes. What do you think about our situation here, at BloomClan?" @sapphire646

Nightleaf :Nightleaf was scanning the area, hoping to find a suitable place to make a temporary medicine den. "This is could be an omen Starclan is sending us. A message." She explained to her leader. "I think you should visit Spirit Bloom and ask Starclan for answers." Nightleaf then remembered about Jewels. "But before you leave, I need to see you about this loner. Is that alright?" She asked. She was a bit anxious about bringing Jewels in. Would the clan reprimand her for bringing in a loner? Or would Jewels be able to prove herself? They'll be answered soon...͐T͐͐ᴡ͐͐ɪ͐͐ɪ͐ᴀ͐Spottedpaw :The walk to Sundown Hills began to slowly light Spottedpaw's mood. Now, she was back to her old self : talkative and bubbly. SUNDOWN HILLS - Though the rain still poured with terrible ferocity, Orchidbloom's tension was alleviated a great deal when she arrived at Sundown with the clan. Hearing Nettlefly's question, Orchidbloom began a lengthy, thorough count of the cats.
Eaglestrike, Cloudheart, Larktalon, Tawnywing, Ashfeather, Flaxtrill, Cherrywhisper... these brave warriors had traversed immeasurable danger with her, and she was grateful for the spirit of positivity and strength they brought with them.
Nightleaf, Duskpaw, Fogpaw, Spottedpaw, a small kit, and was that...? Who was that? A grey-white tabby sat next to Nightleaf. Orchidbloom decided that she wasn't an active threat, but her thoughts swirled. A loner? A new cat who had come to the clan while Orchidbloom was gone? She pushed paranoia aside and delivered her psychic answer to Nettlefly.
"I think that's everyone... Have you seen Robinstar? I need to speak with him."

EAGLESTRIKE || Sundown Hills || -bluestorm- Eaglestrike had immediately gathered with a small group of warriors on arrival at Sundown, resting the herbs he had carried on the ground in front of him. Many of the warriors and apprentices were tired from the journey now, and they needed to get their temporary camp sorted as soon as possible to allow the clan to rest after the day's adventures. The fox attack that had occurred this morning seemed like a moon ago now, all their attention now focused on their efforts to restore the camp before them. He counted himself lucky to have such determined and resilient warriors around him; they were all what kept Bloomclan so strong.
He turned to the apprentice beside him, marvelling at Duskpaw's continual positivity through all that he had endured today, "Duskpaw, glad to see the journey hasn't wiped away your eagerness to help your clan," he said with a small, amused smile on his face. He could remember when he had first come to this temporary camp - he had been just the same as the apprentice beside him now. There was something about a new location that always seemed to excite the apprentices, "Bloomclan has used this camp temporarily before, so dens should already be dug out. We may just need to reinforce them with the sticks many of our warriors have brought from camp, and make sure the walls are stable enough for us to sleep in them tonight." ASHFEATHER || Sundown Hills || -bluestorm-, ghost. Ashfeather stood with Eaglestrike, her gaze focused on the newcomer in their midst, curious as to why she was here. Snapping herself out of her thoughts, however, she figured she should be of use to her clan right now. Knowing that her body was too tired to hunt right now, she decided to put her energy towards small tasks that would help around camp. She had carried a large bundle of sticks with her to their temporary camp, which now lay in front of her feet, and knew they would come in handy right now.
Hearing Eaglestrike speaking to Duskpaw, she nodded along with his comments, "You can start to help me rebuild the warrior and apprentice den," she chimed in, wanting to get started right away; the sooner they began to work on the camp, the sooner they would finish and be able to rest, "These should help with that," she added, gesturing to the sticks she had carried in front of her. Glancing behind Duskpaw, she spotted her own apprentice, "Fogpaw, you can come and help too."
CHERRYWHISPER || Sundown Hills || @sapphire646 Cherrywhisper stopped next to her apprentice, taking in the familiar sights of their temporary camp. Despite the storm still raging on around them, this camp had fared quite well - though it would still need some work in order for them to settle in. Still, it lacked any sort of flooding bar a few huge puddles dotted around the area, so it would be perfect for now. "It's impressive, isn't it?" she said to Spottedpaw, hearing the awe in her voice, "I've always enjoyed coming here."

Spottedpaw :Spottedpaw padded towards Cherrywhisper. "What should I do to help?" She asked, hoping she could help Bloomclan in any way. The storm seem to have lay forgotten in her mind, as she was too busy admiring their temporary camp. I wonder why Starclan didn't make this a permanent Bloomclan camp. She thought to herself. Despite the puddles that were slowly growing bigger, this could have made a decent camp, in her opinion. ashfeather

Fogpaw stared with mildly strange intensity at Jewels, her dull stare fairly creepy. Actually, she was almost as freaked out as the stranger. First the flood had happened- the first one she'd experienced in all her time there, and now this-other cat was here? Oh, and the foxes! She couldn't forget those. Why was all of this happening? The lack of information made her twitchy enough, not helped by the general stress of the day.
At her mentor's instruction, Fogpaw sprang up, blinking rapidly to appear more focused. She'd almost forgotten her mentor was here, to be honest, as she couldn't recall having talked to her during the rain. Nonetheless, she briskly headed to where Duskpaw, Eaglestrike, and Ashfeather were standing.
Tawnywing was working on making a temporary fresh-kill pile, using some of the smaller sticks to create a relatively dry platform. Normally forest prey could be buried, but the camp was only temporary and the ground was very marshy even here. They'd forgotten who exactly came up with this- they were sure they'd heard it from somebody. Maybe one of the senior warriors? He could ask, but with no basis...he could find it out later. It was kind of ridiculous that he was thinking so heavily about it, anyways- not that he realized it.
Scorchkit was attempting to apologize to Nightleaf, but the presence of the cat he didn't know next to her, plus the ongoing hesitance towards trying to talk to her at all, left him awkwardly fidgeting a few feet away and pacing back and forth. Ok, it's simple! Just say you're sorry about the medicine den. And that you couldn't get her important herbs out- no, that sounds horrible! You should have been more responsible! You're almost an apprentice, Scorchkit! Despite his attempts at self-motivation, he continued with his pacing.

To be fair I would have liked to forget her too. He stole a quick glance at the prancing mottled she cat. He was not impressed with her antics. If anything, Rufflefur was about as useful as a fox. The brown warrior thought back to the fox attack at Hillpoint earlier that day; shivering as he remembered those huge jaws clamping around his neck. He had been saved, of course. He felt a fierce loyalty, to each member of his Clan. And Orchidbloom, for she's a natural leader and one of us. He accepted her presence in the Clan. In fact, he welcomed it. " I think Robinstar's over there with Nightleaf and the new cat," Nettlefly responded as he pointed to the cats in question before turning back to face Orchidbloom. -bluestorm-» ROBINSTAR | SUNDOWN HILLS | NIGHTLEAF, JEWELS ˜*•. ˜”*°•.˜”*°••°*”˜.•°*”˜ ˜”*°•.˜”*°••°*”˜.•°*”˜ .•*˜˜*•. ˜”*°•.˜”*°••°*”˜.•°*”˜ Robinstar dipped his head in agreement. He held back to hear what she would say, but his attention turned to the loner beside the medicine cat. He wondered who she was. His fur laid flat and dripping with water as he calmly studied the she cat. He decided she was no threat, and he relaxed. He spun around to face Nightleaf, listening intently at what she had to say. "It is," Robinstar replied. "A good idea in fact. I'm sure your friend will be welcomed into our Clan. " He nodded, first to Nightleaf and then to Jewels. @sapphire646 Blossomshadow

The she-cat stayed silent as she watched the two cats interact by what she could only assume was telepathically. When the leader acknowledged her she bent her head low in respect. Once she and Nightleaf had gotten to the destination, she couldn’t help but notice the fearful and questioning stares she received. Most relaxed after a moment of not perceiving her as a threat, which she was not. Jewels wasn’t even sure she wanted to join the clan, mainly due to not knowing that much about the clan itself or what it meant to be a part of something like it. Her eyes stayed curious as she waited to be addressed. ͐T͐͐ᴡ͐͐ɪ͐͐ɪ͐ᴀ͐ @sapphire646

Nightleaf :The medicine cat nodded, sensing the hesitation Jewels had on whether she actually wanted to stay in the clan. "You don't have to stay. I just don't want you to get killed during the storm, so you'll be safe with us." Nightleaf reassured telepathically to the she-cat. Nightleaf didn't know where the hostility she gave to Jewels back at the start had gone. Maybe it had disappeared during the walk to Sundown? Or maybe she had realised that if Jewels stayed, she would make a fine edition to Bloomclan? Either way, Jewels was probably safe now. "When will you visit Spirit Bloom?" She asked to Robinstar. [ Apologies for being so inactive guys >.< ] CHERRYWHISPER || Sundown Hills || @sapphire646 "For the time being I think the clan will be focused on rebuilding our dens so that we can get some rest." Cherrywhisper replied, thankful for her apprentice's willingness to help. It made her job as mentor a whole lot easier; she didn't think she would have been able to deal with a lazy apprentice. All of the Bloomclan cats always seemed ready to help though, and their resilience and determination was probably what had allowed Bloomclan to survive all these years, and would help them to endure anything that was to come. "Some cats have brought sticks and branches from camp to help with the rebuild here, but I think we should gather some more to ensure we have enough; we don't want our dens collapsing in on us tonight because of the rain."

"Let's all grab some of these sticks and head over there," Eaglestrike instructed, gesturing first to the sticks in front of Ashfeather and then to one of the largest dens in the area, "Just like in camp, we need to use these to prop up the walls of each den. It will stop them from caving in due to the weight of the rain."

CHERRYWHISPER | Sundown Hills | Spottedpaw
Cherrywhisper picked up the small sticks and branches in her jaws, not as enthusiastically as her apprentice, but quickly all the same. Her paws were starting to ache from the day's activities, and with the rain still drenching her spotted pelt, all she wanted right now was to curl up in a nice, dry nest. Unfortunately, the reality of their situation was that this would be one wet and uncomfortable night. But at least they could be confident in the fact that their dens wouldn't be flooded.
"Try and drop your sticks into each of the dens around here. That way, as everyone starts to reinforce the walls, they'll have plenty of supplies to work with," Cherrywhisper instructed telepathically, her mouth full with branches. Dropping her mouthful into the closest and one of the largest dens as if to prove her point, she looked back at her apprentice and added quickly, "Just remember to make sure you're not dropping anything on to anyone."

Petalflight Petalflight pushed out last after her clan; her excitement rose as she realized that they had finally made it to the end of their journey. If she was honest, she was looking forward to resting her paws, and tucking her kits to sleep. She placed the kit she held in her mouth down. Tinykit would have to walk from here on out and she trusted that the area was safe enough to do so if Scorchkit was being allowed to roam free. She sat down so Crowkit could slowly slide down and off her back, and then shook her pelt. Petalflight looked up to see Robinstar, Nightleaf, and a strange cat talking with each other. Instinctively she pushed her tail in front of her two kits and pushed them close to her. It wasn't likely the strange cat was a threat, but she wasn't going to put her kits lives at risk just because she wasn't sure. Tinykit Tinykit blinked up at the strange new area, it felt unfamiliar to the camp grounds that she had never left before. She had been excited when Robinstar announced that they were going on a journey from the camp to the Sundown Hills. A new place to explore! She thought eagerly to herself. Tinykit turned her head and then noticed the strange she-cat. Turning to her brother, she may have murmured to loudly to him, "Who is the weirdo cat?" because her mother let out an embarrassed hiss at her making her shrink. Crowkit Crowkit twitched his whiskers in amusement at his sister's words, of course she would be curious about the strange cat that had come with them, why wouldn't she be? He too was curious about the strange cat. If she joins us does that mean she's gonna be a warrior before us? That wouldn't be fair! We were here first! Crowkit dug his tiny claws into the ground, he didn't want the strange she-cat to be a warrior before him.

Dodging the dirty puddles, she scanned the area for any burrows, caves or bushes that would seem suitable. Spottedpaw :Spottedpaw nodded eagerly and dropped a pile of sticks near another den. “Then we can re-enforce the dens as a clan!” She said happily, jogging towards another stick. Spottedpaw loved it when clans worked together, that was what a clan was meant to be right? Anyways, if Spottedpaw helped out, Robinstar was definitely going to give Spottedpaw a warrior name. I hope it’s going to be something cool. She murmured dreamily to herself, picking up another pile of sticks. ashfeather
