Improvement in 2017!
I had an art pause in 2016, but started back up again in '17 and I've made drawing a hobby! I think I started out with nothing. Wouldn't you agree?
Note: Spoilers are there, it is just hard to see them. Whoops
Summer of 2015
Stark backgrounds, no anatomy, awful coloring.
JanuaryβFebruary of 2017
No coloring, mostly doodles, stark backgrounds. Made in iPhone notes. Quirky, and some okay (albeit simple) concepts.
March of 2017
Made with Autodesk SketchBook. Anatomy needs more thinking. It's easy to use the fill tool to color in a plain white canvas but apparently that was a strong NoΒ© from me. Could work on lines.
April of 2017
Always avoids drawing feet. Anatomy could use a tad more polishing.
-(months later)-
Today, November of 2017
Made with ibisPaint X on the iPhone. Drawn with my finger. Anatomy has improved. Sorry for the stray lines on 2nd drawing.
Tell me what you think below!

Wow, you've done so well! I bet even you will be shocked with how much you improve next year; be sure not to give up! Where did you go to learn the anatomy better? I took a few college courses on it, though it was human based. Maybe books or something? Oh, that might be a fun holiday gift idea, if your family celebrates anything! Anatomy books! I might just have a gift idea for some of my own family members. Anyway, the original question: anatomy resources?

I'm so excited to see what will come, I've even improved a lot this year alone. I'm pretty shocked too. I just looked at others' drawings for starters. I read a lot of animal comics (dont u judge me) n look at a lot of fellow animal artists so I got inspiration from them and their techniques. I also own a vet anatomy book, it was $50 sadly but it's pretty worth it. It shows muscular and skeletal anatomy and also shows the inner organs of animals which is really helpful

@faerie So you already had the book idea! So far ahead of me! It's really cool you have something like that to turn to. I also think it's pretty great you used other artists as motivation and learning points. Art has so many different uses, and only a handful are noticed most of the time. Maybe you'll be someone's inspiration soon!

Autodesk Sketchbook is such a great app but I'm too much of a tightwad to dish out the money for a subscription
That said, there is so much improvement in your art! Keep up the good work!
