Mark turned back to face her as the cab pulled away from the curb. "It was my pleasure." He replied in complete honesty. He had never felt so relaxed around anyone before. "Maybe I'll run into you again sometime. Share another cab." He found himself hoping that would be true as he glanced at his watch. "I better get going. Don't want to be late." He stepped in the direction of his office building. "Have a nice day ma'am." He waved to her with a smile. (When should we time skip to? That evening? The next day? A few days later?) (AHHHH after my long poor I totally forgot to reply here!!! I'm on winter break for two Monthes ish lol thanks for reminding me!) (Let's skip a few days to make there meeting like a little more like oh! Hey! It's you again) Lyra stood on the sidewalk trying to not frown, she actually enjoyed the ride to work for once. A small smile crossed her lips as he spoke about another cab ride together. "I hope so too. Have fun at work Mr business man who wrestles bears." The small smile turned into a large one as she waved her hand a bit before turning and walking the short distance to her work. "Hey I'm here!" She called as she went into the café she worked a while waiting for substitute teaching jobs to open up. "Yah late get changed sweetheart." The voice of th olde woman who ran the place came from behind the counter it wasn't mad; it was firm. So, Lyra raced off and got to work. Once her shift was over she clocked out and headed home. She was tired from a busy day. Her thoughts went back to the man in the taxi, she hadn't even asked for his name. Sighing she dropped into her bed not excited for tomorrow morning.

(It's totally okay! I completely understand!)
Mark couldn't help the smile that was on his face for the rest of the day. It wasn't like he was normally a grumpy person, but on this day he was extra positive. The ride to work had lifted his spirits a little further. He hoped that he would see the girl again, but he doubted it. His spirits returned to normal at the end of the day as he climbed into a cab alone and headed for home.
A few days passed, and he was losing hope of seeing the girl again. After all, it was a large city. He passed so many new faces every day. He started his walk towards work like normal, keeping his eyes open for an empty passing cab.

Mark spotted a girl running frantically the road. A cab was pulling up to the curb for her. Mark recognized her immediately, even though she seemed to be more frazzled than before. "Hey!" He called out after her, walking a little faster to catch up. He could tell that she was in a hurry, but he didn't want to miss the opportunity to see her again. He made a mental note to get her name and number this time.

Mark cleared the distance between them quickly. "If you don't mind." The smile on his face mirrored the one on hers. He couldn't help it, she seemed to just bring it out of him. He had no idea what it was about her that made him so happy. He reached forward to open the cab door for her.

Mark climbed into the cab next to her and pulled the door shut. He gave the cab driver the address before turning to the girl. "You look a little flustered this morning." He observed casually. He set her briefcase on the floorboards carefully.

Mark frowned slightly. Seeing her so distraught worried him, though he didn't quite know why. After all, he hardly knew the girl. "Then I guess we better make sure that doesn't happen." He replied and turned to the driver. "Take 2nd street instead of 5th please." Mark had lived there long enough to know that even though 5th was a shorter route, 2nd would get them there while avoiding any traffic that might be there.

"Flustered" She laughed a bit, "That is a understatement. I slept through my alarm cause I worked the closing shift the other night." Lyra rubbed the back of her neck nervously. Her hair was up in a pony tail today, so her long curls now sat just below the tops of her shoulders. "If we hit traffic I'm going to be late and Laurel will gently scold me, which makes me feel worse than if she just would yell at me." Again the girl laughed but bit her lip a little thinking about letting the little old cafe owner down.

Oh no! It's perfectly okay! I just don't want you to forget about me 😏 I hope you are feeling better!!!)
Mark nodded. "There's usually less traffic." He returned her smile. "Not many people know that, so shhh." He put his finger to his lips and winked jokingly.

Can I claim Muse B in plot 3? I love the idea of them being a radio show host, plagued by the new hit single. Would you mind if I made a guy?

Ember Dove Riley grew up in a family of businessmen and women. It was always expected that she would follow in those footsteps and live up to her families expectations. Imagine the disappointment on her parents' faces when she announced that she recieved a small record deal with a local label, Pure Pop Records, and then the horror when she dropped out of college to pursue music full time.
Tonight was Ember's third concert under Pure Pop. It wasn't anything huge, just a small venue. Ember was just begining to branch out and recieve more publicity. She stood backstage, waiting for her cue to go on. She stood infront of a mirror, taking deep breaths to calm her only slightly shaky nerves.
Before she went on, she checked her hair and makeup. Her blond hair was curled perfectly and fell to the middle of her back. She wore a tight red top and black skinny jeans. The heals she wore brought her normally 5'4" self to 5'7". The 22 year old took one last breath before heading towards the stage.

Ice, is it possible we could make a separate thread? I can make it if you'd like, I'd just prefer to not mix up replies.

(Sorry I got sick and super inactive ) A small smile tugged at the corners of her mouth, it was sweet of him to make the effort for her not to be late to work. Most people wouldn't care they would just let it happen and shrug their shoulders. "2nd is faster than 5th?" She asked the smile still dancing on her lips. Lyra couldn't help it the gesture was small but sweet, plus he didn't even really know her so why make the effort. Bump inky

Mark looked suspiciously from the driver to Lyra. He leaned in close and whispered. “Then I guess we’ll have to kill him.” Mark winked at Lyra, a small smile on his face.
The driver rolled his eyes but kept his comments to himself.
(Hey! Everything been okay? I was a little worried!)

(That’s exciting! Do you like it?)
Mark laughed at her comment, but didn’t have a witty comeback this time. In all honesty, he just loved being around this woman. Pretty soon, the taxi driver pulled up to the sidewalk.

(Really!? that's my major ) Mark's heart skipped a beat as she scrawled something on the paper. There is no way she is giving me her number. He thought in disbelief. After all, she was so out of his league. He watched her race into the building, a smile stuck to his face. It wasn't until after she had disappeared and he had handed the taxi driver the fare that he looked at the paper. His heart skipped another beat and then began hammering when he saw her name and number on the paper. He stuck it carefully into his pocket and headed to work in disbelief. Once he got to work and settled at his desk, he pulled out his phone and plugged her phone number into it. He debated for several minutes on what to say and ended up sending: "Hey, it's Mark. From the Taxi." Lame, but he couldn't think of anything better.
