Bonefang was sunbathing around camp, he stretched out his long legs and yawned. His silver and dark spotted pelt rippled as he moved, he enjoyed the sun but not so much the chilly breeze. He lifted his head and opened his eyes, his brown eyes glanced around camp for a moment. He wasn't nosy by any means, but he liked to know what was going on around him at least.

Nightpaw woke up slowly, blinking sleepily as she yawned. She stretched, then began grooming herself so she'd look presentable, trying to get her thick fur to cooperate. She wasn't sure what Cinderfrost had in store for her today, but she hoped to learn as much as she could!

Russetpaw was bored, Hailrush wasn't around yet so she couldn't leave camp. She decided to go see what everyone else was up too. The long hair calico made her way out of the apprentice's den and start trotting around, saying hello to everyone she seemed to pass. She poked her head into the medicine cat's den and saw Nightpaw just getting up, "Hello Nightpaw!" she mewed giving the fellow apprentice a small smile.

(I need to sit down and actually make a roleplay profile, they look so nice!!)
Cinderfrost shifted lightly in his nest, not quite ready for the day to begin. Luckily enough, it already seemed like a lazy day; it was by no means early, and his den wasn't flooded with cats looking to him to tend to their wounds. He didn't mind, of course, but some times it got to be a touch overwhelming for the skittish tom. He moved again, this time feeling an obnoxious twig prod his side and he let out a small squeak in surprise; he immediately sat up from his rest and located the offending object that disturbed him. His blue eyes narrowed and he reached down to pull it from the nest with his teeth. He shook his head a bit to gently dislodge it without mussing up the rest of his nest, and spat it out once it came free. "That's better," he hummed to himself, "but I guess that means I'm up for the day." He stretched his limbs and yawned lightly and noticed that his apprentice was already up and moving; he felt a little sheepish about having slept in. "Mmmm, I should probably do something with Nightpaw today," he realized, feeling a pang of regret for not having anything planned. He yawned a brief, "Good morning, Nightpaw," before he shook himself out, not bothering to groom out his messy fur, and strode toward the back of the den to inspect their supply of herbs. He heard the sound of Russetpaw, but elected to let Nightpaw handle her, as he didn't want to intrude.

Nightpaw jumped just slightly when she heard Russetpaw come into the Medicine Cat Den, since she had only been paying half attention as she finished grooming herself, and had been about to reply to the greeting from Cinderfrost. "Hello, Russetpaw!" meowed Nightpaw. The calico was always so friendly, & Nightpaw thought it was nice how she always checked on everyone. "How are you today?"

(Yes, absolutely! I was hoping to get an apprentice for her, I just didn't realize it until you posted it ^^; )
Hailrush's mouth was full as she carried a squirrel and two mice back to camp. She was never one to sleep in, especially not with Leafbare coming upon them within a few moons. To be fair, she never slept in; there wasn't enough time in the day to sleep in past sunrise. Thus, she found time each morning to do something, whether she was up on time with Eaglestar to do a dawn patrol or before any other cat and would simply leave the camp for a solo hunt. Either way, she was constantly on the move, expressing the desire to be busy at all times of the day. She emerged into the camp, and quietly strode to the freshkill pile to deposit her catch. The pile was dwindling, but she assumed it was due to the rest of the clan having eaten by this point, and kept a mouse for her breakfast.
While she settled down with her mouse, she noticed her apprentice at the medicine cat den, making idle conversation. She made a small, affectionate huff, wondering how the apprentice could waste time with such things; when she was an apprentice, she was always raring to go at the crack of dawn with her mentor. She shrugged off the light thoughts and Hailrush decided she would finish her meal before recruiting the young Russetpaw for her day of training.

Russetpaw sat by inside the medicine cat's den, "I'm doing well, was feeling bored so I decided to see what everyone else was up to!" She purred. She looked around the den and sniffled a bit, "This place really smells like herbs and medicine." she wrinkled her nose as some of the herbs, "I hope I never get sick." she muttered.

Nightpaw mewed in amusement at Russetpaw's comment. "You shouldn't, as long as you eat well and keep up your strength!" Nightpaw didn't want any of her Clanmates to be sick either, but she knew she always had to be prepared. "It really only happens if you're weak, or during hard times like leaf-bare."

Rainshadow saw that Hailrush had returned with some prey, though he noted that pile was indeed getting smaller. Perhaps they should do a midday hunt as well. He decided to join her, as she didn't seem to be in too much of a rush.

The gray tom made a mental note of his herb supply, feeling apprehensive about the upcoming Leafbare. He was short on catmint and tansy, both of which helped cure the various coughs. He interjected into the two apprentices' conversation nervously, "Yes, and we are getting low on all of the herbs that help cure those Leaf-bare illnesses. It's not that time yet, but it will be here before we know it." He fidgeted his paws and glanced over the rest, "It also wouldn't hurt to find some coltsfoot... and it's also the season for dried oak leaves." He let out a deep, almost exasperated sigh, glancing over at the thyme supply. That was running low too and he felt his belly clench a little. "That's the one I need," he thought, moving his paw to grab a few dried leaves. They soothed his nerves when he began to feel too anxious, and he tried to ration out his supply to last as long as possible. He slowly chewed it, making a small face as he swallowed the bitter herb, not feeling a whole lot better as of yet. At least they had to make a herb run, so he didn't have to go out of his way to resupply himself.

Hailrush glanced over at the warrior that was approaching her, and dipped her head in greeting once he came within an appropriate range. "Hello, Rainshadow," she mewed curtly, licking her muzzle free of some of the mouse blood that had stained her white fur. "How is everything today?"

Russetpaw smiled and then turned to head out of the den to leave Nightpaw and Cinderfrost to their work. As she left she caught sight of Hailrush and Rainshadow, she trotted over and stood next to her mentor. "Hello Hailrush, hello Rainshadow." she dipped her head respectfully to the warriors.

Nightpaw nodded in understanding, mewing farewell as Russetpaw left the Medicine Cat's Den. "So should we make a run today to try and find what we can?" she meowed to Cinderfrost. It wouldn't be a bad idea to try and stock up on what they could now, before the plants to treat symptoms in leaf-bare stopped growing for the season. She had noticed their thyme supply had been running lower than usual as well.

Rainshadow nodded in greeting to Hailrush. "Everything seems fine so far" he meowed, "Though the fresh kill pile is getting a little low. I did see Ebonymask and Brightblizzard leaving camp not too long ago, perhaps they went out to hunt." He settled down next to her, tucking his paws under his chest. He saw one of the apprentices heading towards them, and meowed back in greeting, "Hello, Russetpaw."

(Sorry guys; I went to class. I have a lot of homework tonight so my replies might be spotty too. :S)
Hailrush nodded in agreement to Rainshadow, finishing her mouse in thought. The large silver tabby flicked her tail lightly and gruffly replied to the tom, "We never seem to be able to keep up with it." Generally it wasn't an issue; the fresher the pile was, the better, but her paws itched in apprehension of the moons to come where prey would be in short supply. Lost in a bit of thought, she was caught a little off guard when Russetpaw had found her way over to the two warriors making small talk. She hardly let it phase her and mewed a curt greeting to her apprentice, welcoming blinking her eyes to her; Hailrush was mildly impressed that she didn't have to pull her away from the medicine den. "Hello there, sleepy head. Ready for training?"
--
Cinderfrost nodded and made a soft hum to himself a little before formally responding. "It does look that way. It would be best to grab a large supply before the plants die off from the cold," he mewed lightly to the apprentice. "How do you feel about the Rapid River? Are you ok with crossing it?" He asked lightly, not wanting to make Nightpaw do something she wasn't absolutely comfortable with. Cinderfrost shuddered at the thought of her falling off the oak bridge and down into the rough waters and had to calm himself. He hated crossing it now just as much as he had in the past; it was too bad that their main herb supply was in the fields across it.

Eaglestar padded over to Bramblestorm with Bonefang trailing a tail length behind him. "Bramblestorm? I would like you and Bonefang to go border patrol, shouldn't be any dangers so that's why I'm sending just the two of you. Just travel to Carnation Shore and then upriver from there." The leader didn't wait for much of a response before turning around and walking away.
Bonefang watched the leader leave and sighed, a stoic expression on his face as he looked at Bramblestorm.

Bonefang nodded and followed Bramblestorm,"So how is your day going, Bramblestorm?" he said in a sarcastic tone. He made his way out of camp and headed south west to Carnation Shore.

Bonefang huffed at Bramblestorm's respond, "At least it's not raining I suppose." he grumbled. His tail flicked back and forth behind him, his eyes and ears surveying the forest around them. Fallen leaves crunching under his paws and a small, chilly breeze tugging at his pelt.
