We are in a secret U.S. government-funded organization. Division was created and supervised by an organization called Oversight which is responsible for black operations including espionage, sabotage, and assassination. However, Division has gone rogue and performs under-the-table murder-for-hire. To protect themselves, they have created a series of 'black boxes', hard drives containing every job Division has ever done, as leverage to prevent Oversight from ending Division. These black boxes are hidden in secret locations around the world, under the protection of Guardians, high-ranking Division agents. Division fills its ranks primarily by recruiting young people with troubled backgrounds, often directly from prison. Division fakes the recruits' deaths, erases all evidence of their past lives, and molds them into efficient spies and assassins. The recruits generally do not have the freedom to leave the agency. Recruits may be "cancelled" (killed) if their progress is deemed unsatisfactory, and to this end, Division implants the recruits with tracking devices as well as kill chips. This is where we find our characters: as members of this elite black operations organization. Every day of their lives is intense training, up until they are given their first mission.
t h e R U L E S I. Be respectful y'all, please. II. 500+ words per role play post, this is a semi-advanced role play. III. Keep it PG! Yes, they are assassins and spies and stuff and murder will happen but keep the language to a minimum, the private times to pm's, and the violence to the bare minimum descriptiveness. IV. Characters have no family connections. They're either dead, they never met them, or they're estranged enough that the characters disappearance means nothing. Try to be creative with backstories, however. Division is rather conservative, so keep hair and eyes natural colors (they can have died hair or wear natural-eye-colored contacts during missions and stuff) and their clothing is limited to a uniform and they have no personal items. V. Try to only have two or three characters; more is fine, I would just prefer it if you only take on what you can handle. You can have up to two Division Members (those who have completed training)
A B O U T D I v I S I O N The Division facility's location is unknown, but that's unimportant. Each recruit gets their own room, small with only a twin bed, a closet where all of their clothing is hung, and a small desk and desk lamp. The rooms are side by side lining a long hall way and the doors are locked at night. There is a lobby-of-sorts where the recruits wait to be lead to training or to the cafeteria. There are a handful of training rooms, including the gymnasium, computer lap, and weapon's room. The cafeteria is large enough to hold all the recruits and division members. After several years in Division, members are able to live outside the facility in their own apartments but they are not allowed to have civilian relationships. Division has a number of "safe houses" around the world where recruits and members can stay before, during, and after missions until they can be picked up by Division drivers.
All recruits receive the same training up until they choose a specialty. New recruits usually train for six months to a year before choosing a specialty, and then after they choose a specialty, they learn that for four to six months before being given their first mission. There has been a rare occurrence where a New recruit of two or more months is giving a mission; this is sort of a survival of the fittest tradition where they send a recruit they believe to either have potential or weakness into a mission that may either make their career or lead to them being cancelled (killed). Recruits are anywhere between nineteen and twenty one when they are brought in, so some recruits with specialty are younger than new recruits, but age doesn't really determine power.
S P E C I A L T I E S Field Agent - Members who complete missions Operations - Members who are on the strategic team. Tech - Members who are hackers Guardian - Highly skilled members who have gone through rigorous training. Cleaner - Members who clean up crime scenes. Reapers - Members who cancel rogue members and recruits. Guards - Members who watch over recruits. Medic - Members who are trained in medicine and surgery.

Jacqueline Anke Moreau [ Fifty-two | Female ] - Beautiful is not a word one would use to describe Jacqueline Moreau, even if the word would have been accurate of her several years ago, maybe a decade or two. No, rather Jacqueline Moreau is a woman who would be easily described as harsh looking, her face outline with prominent lines, her cheekbones high and obvious, her jawline protruding, her nose pointed. Witchy, almost describes her perfectly. Just put a pointy hat on her head and hand her a broom and you immediately have the Wicked Witch of the West. Of course, she is not as ugly as the Wicked witch, she has no immediately obvious facial imperfections, she almost looks too perfect, as though she has gone through several surgeries. Maybe she has, many speculate that due to her family still being alive, she's gone through extensive plastic surgery to change her identity, but those are just rumors. The woman has long black hair, down to just past her hips, but few have seen it down and it is almost always pulled up into a tight bun, gelled so that no loose hairs stick out. Her lips are usually drawn tight, as though she is disappointed in you, and her eyes are narrow and if she were to turn her gaze on you, you might believe she's about to turn you into a toad. Speaking of her eyes, they are a deep brown color, a bit like chocolate but definitely not sweet enough for that. Jaqueline is 6 feet tall, looming over most of those within her gender, and her back is always straight, her posture wonderful. Her clothing style is not unique, as in it is never not the same thing. Pencil skirts, blazers, button-ups, heels, she looks like either an angry librarian or perhaps the CEO of some pretentious company, but that observation is up to the on-looker, of course. - Jacqueline is the kind of woman that the moment she steps into a room, she commands it. Her presence is powerful, it's hard not to take her seriously, and perhas that is why she was chosen for the Head of Division. She is also ruthless, willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done, willing to destroy anyone who gets in her way, willing to try her hand at controlling those who are supposed to be controlling her. In this way, she is dangerous. She does not take no for an answer, her word is her command and if it is not followed harsh punishment will ensue. She tries to give off a motherly air at times, holding out a hand to those who appear to need help, but if they seem unhelp-able, she brushes them to the side. She is a very strict woman who follows the same routine everyday, expects everything to be done the same way every time, and who expects the ultimate best of those who have tried to align themselves with her. She is not a kind woman, she does not go around giving gifts or even so much a word of encouragement. Stubborn, however, is her most defined trait, as it embodies her being. Stubborn, Stubborn, Stubborn - it's her way or the high way, and if not that then consequences will be faced. She does not throw tantrums, but she has fits - not the screaming, kicking, cursing kind - in which she crushes her enemy or whomever has betrayed her without so much as a second thought. - Born in the United States of a first generation French immigrant and second generation German immigrant, she grew up in a household of mixed cultures. Although similar their cultures were, her mother and father spoke different languages and had a hard time communicating with one another despite her father, a borne French Man, having had learned English for her mother. The language barrier ended up destroying the relationship and in the court of law, her mother regained custody of her. She rarely saw her father as after her parents split, he moved across the country and married a little American girl who was Jacqueline's elder by only six years (she was fourteen when her parents divorced.) Her mother died of breast cancer when Jacqueline was just starting college and she completed several years in legal studies until she was an attorney for a high profile businessman. She was recruited by Oversight when she was thirty-seven and took over their side project of Division when she was forty. After a few years, she found that they did better with under-the-table jobs and began going against Oversight, threatening to spill their secrets if they tried to stop her.

T O J O I N Simply, fill out the form below. If they're a new recruit, just get rid of the specialty section and continue. This role play primarily focuses on recruits, but we can have members do missions and stuff.

[ Crime Boss ] No details about who hired the hit, but the crime boss of a foreign country is in the United States, poking his head places where they don't need to be. So, Division has been paid under the table to take him out. Very important as the payment is large so only the best is to be sent on this mission. Takes place at a charity function where the Crime Boss intends to take what is made in the function for profit. Who's on it? Name of Agent
A large portion of this idea goes to the CW show Nikita. I have changed a few details, of course. You should really check it out, it's a really good show <33
