In the Lower Camp, Squirrelleap was dashing back to camp from the lower beach where she had been walking, hunting. The ginger spotted tabby she-cat seemed extremely excited. "Guys!" she called as she entered through what would be the entrance to camp when the wall was finished; "Crab season!" she screeched. Raindrop looked up and away from Frostsplash, whom she had been speaking to. Crab season? Usually it didn't happen for almost another moon...This was the short quarter moon period when loads of crabs came up from the ocean to the beach- thousands of times more than any stray crab that regularly settled on the beach- to breed. And it was a good time for the cats of the lower camp- plenty of food, though sometimes difficult to get to, due to the shells on the crabs, and pincers to watch out for. Normally, kits happily awaited many pounds of crab being dragged into camp. "Why are they here so early?" Hazyeyes wondered out-loud, though mostly a rhetorical question. The crabs must have come up on the beach overnight. Fortunately, they always stayed on the lower beach, far enough from camp. Before the cats would be able to savor the crab meat on the massive scale, they would have to get more rocks to the cliff walls- normally, for the stray crabs they caught, they had a few small rocks they would drop off a low ledge of the cliff to be thrown onto the crabs to crack the shells. When there were this many crabs, however, it required a greater effort.

(You can do immortality if you want. I already told you that you can rp level nine. It's whatever you want to do, though, honestly. You don't have to do any! Want to rp Trickle in the apprentice mock battle?)

(Sure! And I guess I forgot lol! I can make a immortality and a whisperer. Ever since joining I've been meaning/ wanting to make one but it always slips my mind. I can post them shortly. But sure I think having Tricklepaw participate will be fun)

(Daycloud will be Flarekit's mentor, who will be made an apprentice soon. I already have mentors in mind for Soulkit and Brokenkit.)
Sharpear yelled at the group of apprentices in the training cave, "Get on with it already! We've got other things to do, in case you've forgotten," the harsh tom hissed. Emberpaw looked over to Staticpaw, immediately thinking to team up with him, since Flurrypaw seemed less receptive to him with Twilightpaw around...he gave her one last glance. Twilightpaw groaned, glaring at Flurrypaw to hurry up, eyes darting to Bearpaw, who seemed more than ready to fight, and little Tricklepaw, all alone in the corner.

(As soon as Aurorastar gets back from her chat with Dustdapple. So basically as soon as Cress is on.
Lol I'm excited to see who he will choose!)
Twilightpaw was still waiting for Flurrypaw, holding back. And it seemed other cats were steering clear of the big baddy Bearpaw. Wolfpaw was another strong, but easier target.

(Sorry, was on the front page planning!)
Tricklepaw sat quietly in the corner, her eyes observing every one else. She felt bad for Emberpaw, he didn't seem to want to be here. She let her eyes go from one to the next. She was probably one of the smallest here. Slowly she stood up and crept closer

"No way!" Twilightpaw moaned. "You're thinking like a kittypet again. Be a warrior," she pushed. Then she was rushing into the battle, towards Wolfpaw to fight him, away from her friend. Emberpaw looked between Staticpaw and Flurrypaw. And where was Tricklepaw? Perhaps she could join them...? Then they might have a chance of taking on some of the stronger cats, like Bearpaw. Maybe. He wasn't totally sure.

(The lady w/ the job I applied for just texted me...lol that's weird I've never been texted for a job before!)
Emberpaw sighed at Flurrypaw leaving and running off with Twilightpaw; they could have really done good all together. But whatever. He searched for other options, and his thoughts went to the rocky walls all around them. If his group of the smaller apprentices could get up there, fend off any attacks and use their powers to attack the apprentices down below...well...

Scorchdust spotted Tricklepaw and motioned her to go to Emberpaw. Giving her and him a encouraging smile.
Tricklepaw nodded and crept up to Emberpaw, looking up at him from her crouch she meowed "Hey, it's kind of intimidating huh?"

Twilightpaw moaned at Flurrypaw as she finally caught up; Bearpaw was in front of them, blocking their way from Wolfpaw. Clearly, they would have to take him out first. Twilightpaw unsheathed her claws at Bearpaw, growling harshly.
Emberpaw was too busy thinking to reply to Tricklepaw. His mind was ticking. "Do you think you would be able to climb up there?" he asked her, staring at the rocky walls of the small cave. "We may be small enough. Bearpaw and Wolfpaw certainly aren't."

(Sry for not being on, had major storms all day yesterday and our internet and cable is so finicky, it was in and out non-stop, not worth trying to get on. Misty : I can't guarantee the days that I will be on. I'm an adult, and as such my schedule fluctuates daily and weekly depending on what is going on. As of now, I think I may be on this friday, but again, no clue honestly. Just let everyone know when you're on and someone, whoever may be on, will rp with you, if anyone is on. Srry Cress & Gingy, decided not to jump in that since they were doing skip time, that would be WAY too awkward lol! Not something I wanted to rp, Dappledsky interrupting that XD) Aurorastar said to Dustdapple, "I don't care about Cloverrain. She chose to go and help Galegust in the first place- the gets what she deserves!" the she-cat spat in anger. "I need to know many things- if you don't know, I trust you to find out. Firstly, is Iciclestrike a spy for Darknight? What are Darknight's plans for the Middle Camp? And finally, have any cats on his side been in contact with the spirits?" she questioned.
Darkstar smirked; he had known she would not choose the first option. Why would she? "I am planning on sending Oceanbreeze and Tricklepaw off to Aurorastar's group to act as spies; they crave the beach camp, and hopefully, Aurorastar will trust they want to be there for that reason. I would like to send Fogkit with them, using the ruse that I stuck her with a mentor of another power, leaving her incapable of learning to use her own powers- exactly what would happen were I not to send her. She will act as a spy with the other two, and will receive a mentor with her powers- Thunderbolt or Morningmist, perhaps."
Twilightpaw snapped, "Ugh, what? No way! We're not teaming up with this loser!" she spoke of Emberpaw. "Don't you want to win, prove you're a great warrior?" she retorted to Flurrypaw. Emberpaw shrunk back, wondering if Flurrypaw would follow suit. She used to be nice, being friendly to him when others weren't. But now...he wasn't sure. He noticed Staticpaw padding over to them.(Haha yeah, I get that. Sounds good) Dustdapple hesitated, somewhat taken aback by her leader's anger towards Cloverrain. She shook her head, trying to clear her mind and think. "Alright, so firstly, no. I don't believe Iciclestrike is a spy. I personally invited him to come meet you, and as far as I know Darkstar actually drove him out. I don't know for sure about Darkstar's plans for the Middle Camp, but so far he has made no move to take control of it. He's always preferred the Upper Camp, and so I doubt that he plans to move there. And apart from the spirits meeting Darkstar, Coppertuft, and Iciclestrike, no. I have not heard of any cats meeting with the spirits," she informed Aurorastar, rattling off the facts quickly. Dartsplash nodded, liking the idea much better. "Wonderful. It's about time we have ears and eyes on the inside," she purred with approval. "And I like the thought of Fogkit moving with them. However, as you know, she isn't the brightest of cats, especially without her brother by her side. You will have to drill the idea that she is a spy very deep into her head before sending her off. She could endange the mission otherwise," she said, cuttingly honest about her daughter.

Aurorastar nodded. "Very well then. Now, I need you to study all the cats there. I need to know who is really on Darknight's side, who just wants to stay in the Upper Camp over all else, and who is indifferent. We need to see who we can win over to our side."
Darkstar replied quickly, "I trust she will do the job well. You raised her, after all. I have faith in any kit you raise; they will make the very best warriors of all," he spoke gently.
Emberpaw nodded. "Great. Then let's go! Make sure none of the others can follow you up!"

Tricklepaw darted towards the wall, her claws out as she placed her paws carefully in the paw holds of stone. Her long legs aided in her stretch from one to the other, and her small paws allowed her to use a path that was to risky for larger cats

(Nah I guess it works not poetic but it works lolol)
Twilightpaw turned back as she heard strange sounds behind her near the cave wall. It appeared three cats were climbing the rock face of the cave wall. "Hey! She screeched. "What are you doing?" she demanded of Tricklepaw, who was closest.

Dustdapple nodded, listening closely. "Of course. I will be sure to do that. Do you want me to take cats aside that I think are wiling to come over to our side and speak to them? Or should I wait and talk to you before I risk revealing that I am a spy?" she questioned, thinking fast.
Dartsplash let out a rare purr and leaned in a little closer without thinking. "Thanks for thinking that, Darkstar, but there's only so much I can do to change a kit. They are born a certain way and they can only be mentored so much, even by their mother." She smiled over at him with a small shrug, before getting back to business. "But yes, that sounds like a good plan."
