I personally don't mind who my characters are paired with, but I'd prefer it if they were placed with a team that suits them well. And I don't really want them in the same group. I think Hiro would be good in the first dimension and Daiyu in second or possibly third, but I'd like opinions on who they'd be good with at least XD)

[ to give you all a sense of my own characters, here's a little warning thing for the twins with their pros and cons, if you want your character paired with them. ]
-- kishimura katashi pros: focused, brave, straight-forward, fit + strong, quick reflexes, mentally strong, strong willed cons: panicky, rude, focused only on finding his brother, emotionally immature, disrespectful, untrusting, dimwitted Katashi can be a bit of a handful to deal with and he's not the easier person to get along with in the least. He's rash and goes purely on instinct or by what he hears or sees. He might have a great focus, but that focus is extremely narrowed down to finding his twin brother and finding his twin brother only. There will not be that much care nor regard for his partner and most likely will take out his frustration, fear and anger out on the poor person that he's paired up with if it is not his twin. He's extremely attached and nervous without his brother, so he puts up a lot of defenses when he's not around and comes off as very disrespectful and rude, verbally beating down on anyone who attempts to even get close to him. He's very possessive and a bit emotionally immature in this sense, taking out his feelings and pushing them upon another person without regard for them in the least, but if he's close with one person, this can be dulled down so he isn't so harsh. He is a bit panicky and always worried about his brother, so in this sense, he's really scared of losing his twin. While he's not a very emotionally stable person, he has a strong mind and will, being set on finding Satoshi and getting out of there alive. He might not be positive and a cheer to be around a lot, but he's determined and he won't let you give up. If you disturb him too much, he'll leave you alone or force you to come along with him in his search for Satoshi or finding a way to get to him. He's strong and quick, being that both he and Satoshi were in cross country and regularly keep themselves in shape, so carrying someone or having to strain his body to do something isn't something that will be a worry with him. He won't let you give up, that's for sure and if there's a thing about him, it's that he's fearless (and stupid) to the point of being willing to take a chance with death if it meant he could be with his brother again. And while he may not like having someone that isn't Satoshi around, it's better than completely being on his own and will protect you if the time ever comes for you to be protected or shielded from danger.
-- kishimura satoshi pros: gentle, understanding, kind, fit +strong, quick reflexes, emotionally strong, strong willed, kind, supportive cons: constantly worried about his brother, quick to doubt, mentally weak, too untrusting, indecisive, too observant, can get over-whelmed too easily Satoshi may be nicer and more understanding than that of his twin, but he's not the most stable person to be around and can get over-whelmed and struck down by the possibility of losing the one person he holds the closest and the most dear to him. He tends to hide a lot of things and let his emotions build up with no healthy way of letting them out and let them eat away at his mind until he has an emotional break-down. Of course, that's what Katashi's there for typically, to support him and be there to know when he's upset. Being that he doesn't trust a lot of people, he keeps things to himself and will only share things and let himself vent only to one person; and that's Katashi, the only person he really trusts. He's quick to get down and while he tries to keep a positive outlook, he's constantly over-whelmed with fear and worry for Katashi, knowing that his twin isn't that smart nor is he rational and will charge off into the jaws of death if he thinks he's heading in the right direction of finding Satoshi. He's emotionally very strong and able to take a lot, but there's only so much that he can take, that he can see before he cracks and breaks down. He can't make up his mind on what he'll want to do or where to go and tends to over observe events and things and panics a little too much in his own mind. However, that being said, Satoshi will push away his own feelings and thoughts to care for your needs, being a gentle and caring soul that wants to see you get out alive. He's very supportive and puts up a facade to stay positive and tends to try and stay that way for his partner's sake. He's respectful and willing to understand another's problems more than his twin and while he's a little narrow-minded, he's willing to work things out and help you out. With a kind heart, he's more nice to being asked on which twin he is and more understanding of your limits. He won't push you past your limits, and can be understanding, but you have to understand that his first priority is to find his twin brother before he gets himself into too much trouble. Because without his brother, there's a limit to how much he can take before breaking down. He's supportive and willing to protect you without a second thought. However, if it comes down to it, like Katashi, you show any sign of betraying him or acting in an aggressive manner towards him, he will be quick to leave you and prioritize his own safety before yours. He plans on seeing Katashi again and he will not let someone else ruin that chance.

I actually feel like Daiyu would pair really well with Satoshi, and Hiro would do really well with Takashi. If you want I can type up their own character analyses, but I'm not the best at analyticals. Like I FEEL my characters, but I suck at putting it into words. I imagine Daiyu as the picture image of a strong, independant woman. If it came down to it, she would suck it up and brave through the school with the best of her abilities if nobody was paired with her. It would suck and she would likely die because of reality, but she will definitely do her best. And she definitely refuses to give up on anyone, although she will press for a more logic driven plan than an emotional one. Instead of bolting to find Takashi first, she'd quickly pick up on the danger. She'd definitely try to get a feel of their situation first, although finding Takashi will be on the agenda; just not immediately. And if it ends up not being possible, she'd probably try to either a.) get Satoshi to realize this or b.) lead him on with the false hope of it being possible. (although I assume one twin's death would immediately result in the darkening of another) Her top priority: Get as MANY people out alive. At. All. Costs. Including her own life. She is also not quick to conflict, although her analytical nature can make her seem cold or distant at times. But it is usually just her mind turning to solve the giant puzzle, so communication is always key. However, she also has a very hard time accepting failure. She is fine with being wrong, but she hates it when things go wrong, if that makes sense. For example, if they try to obtain a key item but end up getting trapped because of it, she would probably blame herself and fall into a sort of depression. Even if it's something small - like solving a small self-resetting puzzle for a simple key - if she's under enough stress, she will push herself to figure it out over and over and over again until she is weak from exhaustion. This can cause conflicts with others because if they don't help her, or give up, she'll allow them to do so but still continue her own attempts. It would make for an unhealthy relationship, although I think Satoshi's kindness, fair intelligence and physical strength would help keep her afloat in tense situations. Not to mention the fact that they're already semi-friends, and that she's one of the top in school, so that should give him some incentive to trust her judgement. Still, if all of her teammates die, this will most likely result in her darkening. Starting out on her own would give her no reason to worry for the others apart from the goal of finding them; she'd just worry about her own safety for the time being. But being with others would mean she'd have more than one life to worry about; all deaths would be like the ultimate failure to her. On the other hand, Hiro is a deredere shota through and through. While your characters were based off of the Hitachiin twins, Hiro was based off of Honey-Senpai; just a taller albino and without the combat experience. (lol) While some people who live sheltered lives may be scarred by these sudden events, I feel like Hiro would be more like a blank slate, with more mental room to take in these experiences head-on. They wouldn't be piling onto more stress or baggage, so he'd be less likely to snap early. This combined with his naturally positive attitude would mean that he'd not only take Katashi's insults in stride (*is insulted, pauses, then smiles and continues walking* "Don't worry Katashi-kun, I know you didn't mean it!") but that he'd also treat him kindly, as if they were friends. Nobody can abandon him, simply because he refuses to leave their side unless they personally threaten his life. (ex: a darkening) He isn't cowardly, so panicking or abandoning his group is highly unlikely, however he is naive. This means that he'll probably be looking towards others for guidance, but will be resilient in helping when he can. The problem is that with his self-sacrificial tendencies and the wrong type of teammates, they may not be smart enough to solve a puzzle and he'd become an easy casualty. His lack of experience can also lead to the accidental death of his teammates, so he is highly unlikely to lead for this reason. Annnd that is all I can think of for now! But yeah these are my thoughts on our characters so 👉👉 yeah )

[ ah, it's katashi, not takashi.
and just remember that everyone has to be flawed. no one will be able to escape this well nor with a positive outlook. it's going to mess them up severely and you will most likely only have one character, if even that, by the time they might manage to escape. ]

Ack, sorry I'll fix that! And oh yes, I know heheheh ... This is how my characters would start out, but I'm certain they'll wear down over time. I just don't want to spoil that part, because I have some BRILLIANT ideas for my characters' downfalls. We'll just see what fate decides. >:,D)

I asked this earlier, if you don't mind •w•) Hey guys, once the main cast is together would it be alright if I drew my interpretations of them as a group? I've been lacking in inspiration (I actually drew my profile picture; she's a character for my own video game idea) and this rp is really cranking up my imagination lol)

heyo! character analyses whoa! I would do mine but I don’t have my laptop atm ;-; writing so much out on a phone is too annoying haha. Maybe later... tho I don’t care who my characters are paired with... I might want to see minami/katashi just because of how bad and explosive that would be, what with both only having one person in the group they really know/trust well ahaha. Tho I would also understand wanting to avoid a situation like that xD

So Keiko analysis, hmmm…)) (Kinda basing this off of your layout, devil)
-Nakamura Keiko Pros: Protective, Stubborn, Emotionally Strong(Conditional), Agreeable. Cons: Passive, Not Physically Strong, Leaps Without Looking.
Keiko could work with anyone in terms of familiarity. She’d probably be alright even with someone like the Newcomer, who others of the group might find harder to relate with. She also is fairly protective of the entire group, and would most definitely start by searching for the others and ensuring their safety, which aligns with most others views(I think). If she gets stuck with the Shadow Leader or Leader, it’d probably be a decent fit, since she would follow their guidance and respect their decisions. If she was stuck on her own, she'd have a very low chance of survival. Keiko can't make up her mind with no one else around to guide her, and would probably end up making a stupid mistake in a blind attempt to try and reach the others. As long as she's with at least one other student, she'll probably be alright. Better if this friend is one who will take charge of the situation, because she wouldn't be the best leader of a group. Keiko will most definitely view the incident as her fault if she figures out it wasn't just an earthquake, but she'll see this more as motivation to find and rescue the others rather than hate herself. She would be supportive of those who would despair, and sorta work as an optimist in a bleak situation- “I'll make this right. Don't you worry bout a thing. It's my fault, so I’ll fix it.” She wouldn't willingly let anyone in her group start to succumb to negative feelings, including herself. She'd be good in a group of three, seeing as she could also use her tendency to mediate to help two others work better together. The thing about Keiko is she loves everyone in the group like family. As long as they are all fine, she'll be great emotionally. However, if one of them dies, she's not going to take it well. This happening would likely dramatically speed her Darkening, and completely change the way she acts. She'd lose a lot of her optimism, becoming more grim and hopeless. She'd become obsessed not with finding her other friends, but keeping the other member of her group safe from whatever threatens them- even if that threat is imaginary. If there was only one other member in her group, and they were the one who died, Keiko simply would not survive. If a member of her group was injured, she would have a slightly less severe reaction, probably insisting they don't move until the friend has completely healed. Once something happens to ground her thoughts to reality, she'll become much less emotionally stable, and may quickly come to believe there is no way out.
((If that makes sense? I wrote a bit more, but I felt like it was just repeating stuff and cut it.))

Yeah when I was little my mom and I were poor af - I mean food stamp, donating blood plasma for money poor - so we bred dogs, but when she became pregnant after finding and marrying my dad, we had to move for room - like, I remember using a curtain to divide the dining room so that there'd be a place for my new step siblings - and couldn't have pets anymore in our new neighborhood. But after the depression hit and things spiraled downwards from there, my mom caved and my bby helped so much. Recently the new stress of being an adult has affected me badly again though, so I'm freaking EXCITED to get a new kitty. It gives me hope :3 )
