The Kingdom
Welcome to the Kingdom, if you are a tom then go speak to the General about becoming a Soldier, if you're a she-cat then go speak to the Queen about becoming a huntress. What's that? You don't think that's fair? Well stranger your first lesson here is, it doesn't matter what YOU think! If you live in the protection of The Kingdom then you do and live the way we tell you to, no questions, no backtalk. Understand?...Good.
Kingdom Laws:
The King's word is law!
The King has the right to change the rules at any time.
Any Law breakers are to be sent to Stone Cave to serve time, how long a sentence depends on the crime.
All toms are to be Soldiers, and all she-cat are to be Huntress's and Kit Mothers.
Kits will begin training for their roles as soon as they can see, hear, walk, and speak.
However, they cannot be taken out into the forest until they are six moons old.
Trainees may continue to nurse from their mother until 5 or 6 moons old.
Kits with high ranking bloodlines are to have their mates arranged for them by their parents.
If a tom wishes to become mates with a certain she-cat, he must ask the she-cat's parents for their blessing. If both parents are dead then they must get the King or Queen's permission.
She-cat's are not allowed to learn how to fight, when they leave the camp to hunt at least two Soldiers must escort them.
When the King dies, his oldest living son is to take his place.
There are no Elders, cats will fight or hunt until their last breath.
Cat's unable to do their jobs, whether born wrong or injured are to become Healers or they will be sent away.
The King, Queen, and General reserve the right to ration prey and keep certain families from eating as another form of punishment.
Cats who are found out to be traitors against the King or Kingdom are to be killed, families of the traitor will also receive punishment if they had knowledge of treason.
Any cats found to be speaking or helping a traitor will be punished!
Helping a cat during their punishment is forbidden and result in the helper and/or their family being punished.
