Okay, so I might seem stupid but I sold off all my Warrior Cats books to buy the fancy new spine box sets. Things came up and now I have no books and just an Amazon cart full of box sets. Should I spend the money for the box sets (I wanted the spine art really bad) or should I give in and get cheap used novels and get all the books back for a quarter of the price?
You guys think the box sets are worth it?

Ehh not really. The story is still the story, regardless of how fancy it looks on the outside. The spine art is a nice collectible (if you can even call it that), but aside from that it doesnโt change the value of the most important part of the book: the story itself.
If youโre into that sort of thing, then sure, go for it. Iโm just saying that I personally wouldnโt.

I have both, and when I look at them on the shelves, the old covers appeal to me more. The fact that you already sold all your old ones to get the new ones speaks to how bad you want the new ones, so I say get the ones that make you happier, as long as it doesn't take from money you need for necessities (food, rent, bills, etc)

I rarely reread books, so they end up being shelf fodder. So I thought the spine art would be better for me.
