((Sweet. XD Wait. My dear Drake is with Callie... wait, is he? o.O I think he may have excused himself from her. *goes back to stalk self* Either way, Mason, Jace, and Ash will be there and that's enough. XD I shall start. =3))

((I think he's good enough that I can totally just steal Drake? Otherwise I'll just have clones of him at different parts of the day.))
Jace had basically spent most of the time "setting up" by following Ash around, asking her what he thought were important questions about the party. Like, "Why did I have to buy juice?" and "Do I have to go?" Of course, the more questions he asked, the more his little sister seemed to get annoyed.
Finally, Ash had turned around to face him, hands on her hips. "Why don't you go play your guitar or drums or something in your room? I'll come get you when people start showing up to help or... whatever. Just take a break and unwind. It will be fine. Stop worrying so much."
Jace hadn't argued at all and had taken off for his room, which was at the very end of the house. It was a nice room with a tall ceiling and a loft where his bed was. The walls were bright yellow while the walls that faced out were all window. It was peaceful, and it was his favorite place, other than music rooms. Smiling, he headed over to where his instruments were. Ah yes, his music. His favorite thing about this place.
While Jace was doing that, someone pressed the doorbell not once, not twice, but three times until Ash thought that she might just smack whoever was on the other side. Before she could even make her way to open the door and greet the guests, the door was opened and in came Mason and Drake, as she had suspected.
"We're here!" Drake announced cheerfully.
"Hey, Ashy. How you doing?" Mason grinned and hugged her, which was not what Ash had necessarily wanted, but it had been a while since she'd seen Mason.
"I'm fine and I'll be better when you let me go." Ash grumbled and pushed him away from her. "No one's here yet. We were just starting to get ready to set up. I think some other people might be coming by to help set up, too."
"People? Like who?" Mason asked. He was biting his bottom lip and he felt sick to his stomach. He knew there was a good chance that Adriane would be here. Part of him was excited, but more of him was nervous. If she came beforehand, there would be no avoiding her. If she arrived when everyone else was partying, he could hopefully try and keep his distance.
Ash, of course, knew why Mason looked so worried. "I think a couple of Jace's college buddies. And I guess they know or are somehow related to Mia from school."
Mason nodded his head. "Alright. I remember Mia."

When Jace had approached Jack to invite him to the party, he'd had no hesitation as he accepted the invitation. He hadn't been invited to may college parties and he missed the days of high school parties. So he'd promised he'd be there. Sophia had agreed right away too. After all, she was the queen of the social scene at any event. They'd just have to drag Mia to the party.
"Come on, Mia. It won't be bad. Your classmates are there too. It's not like it's just going to be Jace and a few of his friends. It's a lot more fun than sitting at home and studying for chemistry," Jack had stated, leaning against Mia's doorway. "You could actually make some new friends."
"Not interested. I have plenty of friends."
"Who?"
"Katie. Kid. Jess. Michael. Chase."
"Katie's your sister and Kid only likes you because you feed him."
***
That was how Mia ended up standing outside of Jace's house between her brother and her cousin.
Jack lifted his hand, rapping loudly on the door.
"Is that necessary?" Mia asked.
"Of course. I can't just barge in. The party hasn't started."
Sophia smiled. "Yeah, that's where I come in," she said. She'd done Mia's hair and make up for the party, making her look like, in Mia's words, a brown haired Barbie doll.
"Whatever. I'm just gonna set myself up in the kitchen and engage anyone that comes in," Jack said.
"Engage? Marriage, conversation, or a sword fight?" Mia asked.
Jack thought about it. "Depends." With that, he laughed.

((I love that. XD "I have plenty of friends." And then the list had a horse.))
At the knock on the door, Ash smiled. "That's probably them. Drake, can you go make Jace leave his room?" She asked as Drake saluted her and took off for Jace's room. Rolling her eyes, she walked over to the door and opened it up with Mason walking after her to help greet them.
"Hi, Mia!" Ash waved at her as she stepped aside to let them come in. "I'm guessing you two are Jack and Sophia. Uh, Jace will hopefully be leaving his room. He might be dragged out, no promises. I'm afraid it's just us, and Drake and Mason right now. I don't know know if you remember him since his dumb self dropped out."
"Ok, that's uncalled for." Mason said, obviously cross with Ash. He smiled and waved at them. "Hey. Welcome to the party, although there isn't much here yet." He said, glancing over Jack and then looking Sophia and Mia up and down. Well, Mia had certainly changed since he dropped out and Sophia... well damn, she was hot.
"I think it's called for." Ash grumbled.
At about that time, Drake and Jace returned from Jace's room with Jace looking, as always, awkward, and perhaps a bit disheveled. Drake had not been polite about making Jace put down the instrument and exit the room with his hands where Drake could see them.
"Hello, I'm Drake. Nice to meet you. And Mia! Hello! You look good. I like it." He said, all sorts of politeness and with plenty of compliments ready to go.

Jack was the first to enter, followed by Mia and then Sophia. "Hi, Ash," Mia said. She closed the door once all three of them were in, not wanting to let bugs in. Plus, if nobody was coming yet, why have the door open?
"Yeah, I'm Jack. Nice to meet you. Sophia's-" Jack began. Sophia cut him off.
"It's nice to meet you. Im glad to see Mia actually does have some friends besides that stupid horse," she said, wrinkling her nose. She had a good relationship with Mia, but found Kid slightly disgusting.
Mia gave her a look before speaking. "Nice to see you again, Mason," she said, not making any comment about him dropping out. Hey, why should she judge what he wanted to do with his life?
"Hey buddy," Jack called when he saw Jace. He left the girls, Drake, and Mason to go see his friend. "What have you been up to?" he asked.
Mia watched him, before turning to Drake. "Thank you, Drake. You look good too," she said, though she knew she was the only one here that looked different from her usual self. She normally wore make up, just not as much as Sophia piled onto her before they left.
"Oooh, I like this one," Sophia said, nodding at Drake. "He appreciates my handiwork. Mia was my most difficult client," she said.
"Client?" Mia asked, raising an eyebrow. "You aren't a beauty person. You literally just do your own makeup and mine when you think I need it."
"Just wait till homecoming. And prom! Girl, we need to get you a date," Sophia said.
Mia turned bright red and shook her head. "We're not doing his now. Please, somebody, get me away from her," Mia said, looking between Mason, Drake, and Ash for help.

((I'm on. Today has been crazy. o.e))
Ash laughed at Sophia's comment. Although she wouldn't necessarily consider herself and Mia friends, if it took some heat off her back, she would agree.
Jace shrugged when Jack walked over to him and shot one last angry look at Drake, which Drake did not notice, before turning back to Jack. The poor guy's awkwardness was peering through like nothing ever had before, per usual. "Just, y'know, uh... hanging out... I guess..." He mumbled, pulling on his yellow beanie while he did so. "What about you?"
"Thanks, Mia." Drake laughed. "I tried some new eye cake today."
"Eye cake?" Ash asked.
Drake nodded his head. "Yeah, eye cake."
"It's called eye smudge, dummy." Mason said with a smirk at Drake.
"No, it's called eye shadow." Ash replied, a little bit in disbelief by their reactions. Shaking her head, she looked back at Mia and Sophia. "So, uh, do you guys want to help get started setting up?"

{Hello, I hope you don't mind if I join ^^}
Elita Ramos | Female | 17 | αυяσяα ησx Elita is short, at barely 5’3” and quite skinny with pretty much no muscle on her, but not in a way that makes her look sickly. She has long, wavy dark brown hair that reaches her waist and grey eyes, which are generally covered by blue wired glasses. She rarely takes to wearing her contacts. Her skin is light brown. She’s easily nervous, much more inclined to stay at home and shield herself from the world. She has a fondness for things she considers cute. She has amazing self-control considering how easily she gets angry and she also has a pretty creative and ambitious mind. Being the youngest of three children in a relatively wealthy family, she’s pretty spoiled as well as oblivious to the world and she knows it, so she tries not to be too selfish and she tries her best to understand things. She’s incredibly loyal to those she manages to get close to. She’s easily stressed out, which caused a breakdown in her junior year that had her dropping out of school entirely. She ended up losing contact with a lot of her friends. She instead decided to help out with her family at the flower shop they live above, usually tending to the flowers in the back so she doesn’t have to interact with people. When she isn’t working at the flower shop, she also likes to write stories, wanting to become an author one day. Dropped out of high school | Works at family’s flower shop | Little sister to Silvia and Tobias Ramos | Has anxiety and slight depression, but is working on getting better
Tobias Ramos | Male | 19/Freshman | αυяσяα ησx Tobias has messy brown hair and light blue eyes. He has a muscular, lean body and is about 5’10”. He’s quieter than his older sister, but doesn’t have much of a problem talking to people. He’s protective of his sisters, especially Elita. His loyalty to his family occasionally keeps him from getting close to others, but he still has more success with friendships than his siblings. His love for his sisters can occasionally come off as too overprotective and can cloud his judgment. He’s pretty understanding in regards to mental health though and plans to become a therapist. He can’t stand being still and enjoys exercising and being around people when he can. He’s not exactly studious or smart, but he tries his best. University of Westbrook | Works at family’s flower shop | Brother to Silvia and Elita Ramos | None
Silvia Ramos | Female | 21/Junior | αυяσяα ησx Silvia has brown skin and a slim, fit body. She has blue-grey eyes and wavy brown hair cut below her shoulders. She stands at 5’6” looking somewhat younger than she really is. She’s energetic, having no qualms about talking to people and speaking her mind. She’s friendly, but ignorant to issues that aren’t immediately brought to her attention. It’s actually a bit hard for her to make true friends, usually losing them after a year or two with few of them staying for long due to her somewhat wild and high strung nature. She does try her best to understand her little sister, but is still pretty confused about what she goes through. She comes across as insensitive a lot of the time due to her ignorance. She wants to get somewhere in the world and is determined to become successful. She’s something of the star of the family. University of Westbrook | Intern at a company office | Older sister to Elita and Tobias Ramos | Ironically enough, she’s allergic to flowers
Keilana Lennox | Female | 16/Junior | αυяσяα ησx Keilana has straight black hair that reaches her midback and southeast Asian features. Her skin is somewhat pale and her eyes are dark brown. She’s a pretty friendly girl, but tries too hard to fit in and be liked. She doesn’t know how much of her is actually her or not, as she spends a lot of time molding herself into what other people expect of her. Despite this, she actually has a fair amount of self-awareness, common sense, and good friend choices. She can come across as a bit conceited at times because she knows when she looks cute and likes to flaunt it. Even though she seems to never stop talking when she’s around people, she never actually says anything about herself or her opinions. She gets uncomfortable with displays of affection, whether platonic or romantic, but does enjoy the occasional hug and cuddling from those she’s close to. She’s brand new to the city and having moved from a small town where everyone really did know everyone, she’s found herself out of her element and unsure of how to proceed without the support of her friends. Westbrook High School | None at the moment | None | None

"Just here for the party," Jack said. "You got anything to drink?" He was dressed in a dark hoodie and jeans. He'd cleaned up a bit for the party, but still managed to look as casual as ever.
Mia had learned a long time ago that it was easiest to agree with Sophia.
Then she watched the boys talk about the eye stuff, before laughing a bit when she realized what they were taking about. "Come on, guys. Even I know what eye shadow is."
"It's true. She just doesn't know what half the other stuff in my makeup bag. She literally has like four or five things in hers," Sophia said.
"Can we not talk about makeup? I think Mason and Drake would prefer a different subject," Mia suggested. She turned to Ash. "Setting up is a good idea. What do you need us to do?"
"I can greet people," Sophia said, wrinkling her nose a bit at the idea of actually setting up.
Mia gave her a look.
"Sophia will help too," she promised.

"Oh, uh..." Jace looked around and then pointed at some coolers lined up by the pool deck just outside some fancy glass doors. "We have pop and water and... juice boxes, for some reason. I don't think anyone managed to get alcohol, but Adriane might be bringing it later... I think."
Mason had been keeping up with the conversation but upon hearing Jace's remark, he paused for a moment to listen. Adriane was coming later... brilliant. Sighing, he turned back to the group. "We really don't want to learn about the different kinds of makeup. What needs to be done? Music?"
Ash hesitated, running over in her mind what needed doing still. "Yeah, I guess so, which is probably good because people will be arriving soon."
"And food." Drake pointed out. "Chips haven't been dumped into bowls. All we have is lots of liquids."

"If you needed alcohol, you could've just asked me," Jack said. He wasn't 21 yet, but had a buddy that would get him whatever he needed. They just made sure to put it away before parents came. "Maybe someone specifically asked for juice?" he said with a shrugged. Jack disappeared to get a bottle of water. "Did you want to throw this party?" he asked when he returned, guessing the answer as he asked.
Mia had caught Adriane's name as well, and only made a bit of a face. She hadn't spoken to the girl recently, but was not excited to see her again. "Maybe Mason and I could do music. Drake and Sophia could do food? Then Ash can just jump between the groups or supervise or whatever it is that she wants to do?" Mia suggested.
"I don't care how we do stuff. I just want the party to start soon," sophia said. Mia rolled her eyes.
"It'll start soon, but you have to actually do work," she said. She turned to Drake. "I'm sorry for suggesting You deal with her," she said, which earned her a small shove from Sophia. "She just gets whiny when there's a party. She likes to party."
"Yeah. There's food, alcohol, boys. What's not to love?" Sophia asked. "Maybe you should go to more parties, Mia. Unwind. Loosen up. You don't have to be a genius," she said, bough though she knew just as well as Mia that the two of them and Jack would have to work hard to be successful like they were supposed to be. Jack was the only one who seemed to have it all together.

{I'll just leave this here I guess?}
Tobias and Silvia had friends in some of the same circles, oddly enough, so they both knew people that were setting up the party and they had both volunteered to help out. Before leaving, Silvia tried to get Elita to come with, saying, "There will be high schoolers there! Maybe you can talk to some friends!" Elita rejected the offer, waving them off and telling them that she was fine with closing up shop on her own. It was late, and it wasn't like that many people came by anyway, so she was pretty sure she could handle it. Silvia huffed and started to protest, but Tobias dutifully interrupted and sent her to the car while he hugged Elita goodbye.
"I still don't get it," Silvia continued to rant, even as they pulled into the driveway and got out of the car. "She adored her friends. Literally, they were all so weirdly close. Why wouldn't she want to see them?"
Tobias was pretty much listening with half an ear at this point. Silvia, as always, was too out there to understand their introverted sister. "She's had a hard time this past year," he told her as he knocked on the door. "She needs to figure some things out first."
