a summary
1. The Noob-
Brand new account. Usually a lolrandom humor form. Bad grammar, usually. Pure. Usually has a warriors screenname and an avatar that they either drew or found on google. Does not understand the jokes of OTD, which is most definitely a good thing. Usually leaves the site quietly after a month.
2. The Average OTDer
Usually has a "typical" account username or their old one from the forum to be ~nostalgic~. Either has a really artsy aesthetic avatar or an ironic one. THERE IS NO IN BETWEEN. usually makes jokes that revolve around self deprecation, how horrible the site is, how everyone around them is an idiot, and while this is fine and well it kind of gets annoying after a while but nobody wants to say they actually like the place or have a good self esteem out of fear of looking like a complete and utter noob. Mixed opinions on drama that will probably escalate into drama. Don't really care anymore. Lots of unhealthy coping habits. Strangely, when The Average OTDer roleplays it's really good and brilliant, and their ideas are usually really great (this has the unwanted side effect of wanting to join their roleplays but knowing you're not good enough to do so and then just watching everything from a distance).
3. The Art Person
Unintentionally makes everyone feel horrible about their art because usually their art is top-tier actual art level. Doesn't post much. Throws all their art in OTD and then yells about how dead the art forum is. Proper grammar, usually. Secretly just wants to be validated. All art people appreciate and rival each other at the same time and it's a very strange, somewhat begrudging relationship.
4. The Clan Roleplayer
Usually keeps their old forum screenname and avatar. Has a huge post count because all they do usually is roleplay. You see them in every fan clan, and they've become their own sort of clique that you become somewhat afraid to join in on because they probably have much more experience than you. Rarely posts outside of Fan Clans. You often wonder how they can keep all 200 of their characters in check.
5. The Off Topic Roleplayer
Basically the Clan Roleplayer but slightly more ~aesthetic~ and usually somewhat prejudiced against cat roleplays in a very strange way. They usually have 6 one-on-ones going at any given time, most of which are threads of their own when it would be perfectly reasonable to just make them PMs. There are so many of them you can't even really tell who's who anymore. Somewhat exclusive to an extent.
6. The Troll
You know these when you see them. They come in basic subtypes-
-The Ones That Want R-Rated Stuff On WCF
-The Lolrandom Ones
-The Gibberish Ones
-The Political Ones
-And actually good trolls that don't harm anyone and become part of the forums.
7. The Cats Debaters
Stoic, proper people that love debates and take a cash cow children's series a bit too seriously. Probably still miffed about Scourge's collar. Most of them have been around for years, and you wonder if they've always been debating over where Onestar will go when he dies or whatever. Have an universal hatred for The Last Hope, which is completely justified. Masters of making overly long posts without a tldr.
