(Yeah that sounds good. Sorry I haven't been on. I've been working the closing shift at work and once I get home I crash. I'm off for the next three days, so I should be on)

It was a crisp autumn day. Jacob jogged along the pebble beach of La Push, dressed in sneakers, shorts and a short sleeve hoodie. His breath could be seen as he exhaled, having been long before dawn. The waves lapped at the shore as he paused, staring out at the water, taking a short break. He placed his arms above his head as he breathed. He was glad his small pack was growing in size but he hoped his wolf mates would help him protect the families that remained on the reserve.

The morning that Jacob went out for his morning run, Leila woke early too. She usually slept in till 7 am, but today was Friday. It was the night of the weekly bonfire and she'd be preparing since Wednesday morning. Usually the pack ate burgers and dogs but she wanted to spice it up a little this week. She had extra pocket money she'd been saving. The pack would eat venison burgers and turkey dogs. She woke early to make it to the butcher shop by 7. She wanted to get some prime rib and ribs this time. She'd already spoken to Jacob about it and he sounded thrilled. Hopefully he would change his mind before tonight. She'd have to marinate them and slab them on the girl before three if she wanted them ready by nine. Having gotten a shower and gotten dressed, she grabbed her keys and purse and tortured to the car, just as the sun was rising over the mountains. It only took her fifteen minutes to get to town and she didn't waste a second. She got the meat and got out. She stopped by the small grocery store to grab more plates and four gallons of milk. Leila didn't really mind all the cooking she did. Being one of the few females in the tribe, she strived to cook and care for the boys. She made it back by 8:30 and started making eggs and bacon for the boys who'd be up and about by now. Yes, the boys were more than capable of cooking for themselves but she found pride in her work and she wanted little mess to clean because she knew boys threw everything everywhere in their wake. After walking back into the house and putting groceries away, she started on both breakfast and getting the food ready for tonight.

Bruno groaned as he slowly gets out of bed. Normally, he would sleep until late in the afternoon but today was a exception. Climbing out of bed, he begins to get washed up and ready for the day. Bruno had plans to go on a quick run and possibly have a quick swim. Bruno smiled when he noticed his dogs laying on the ground. "Hey guys! Ready to go for a walk?"

"Well, eat the breakfast and answer your own question," she replied, rubbing the meat with the marinade with a butter brush, dipping it in the bowl beside the ribs. She nodded to the table where the fresh bacon, eggs, and toast sat on plates, ready to be eaten.

Leila laughed at his exclamation with the eggs, but shook her head, beginning to chop vegetables ranging from carrots to zucchini. "No, not at the moment, Duncan, but that's. How about I call you once I'm ready for you?" She turned to him, taking a pause from cutting the veggies, knife glittering against the sunlight coming in from the window above the sink.
