He didn't look their way. He was afraid they'd see the emotion in his eyes. Ollie only lifted his hand in farewell before vanishing into the forgotten realm. He didn't want Orion to find out where Ress and Enix were staying, so for now, he'd follow Shadow from the forgotten realm. Her presence was more clear to him in this realm. When the time was right, he'd go out and be the distraction, just as it was planned. Ideas and possibilities flitted through his head as he walked behind Shadow.

Shadow walked forward, she lost sense of where Ollie, was but she was sure he was behind her. It took a long while, but she thought of where Orion would mst likely be. He always hid there, and perhaps it was the best place to look. So, she walked, staying invisible as she opened a door softly, glancing at the building inside, before letting it softly close behind her. Sure, she could be invisible, even intangible at rare moments, but it was hard. She couldn’t exactly walk through walls, she was still a part of the living realm.
It didn’t take long to find where Ollie was, the building was tall, but not outlandishly so. Multiple stories, all held up by brain controlled creatures, all with little memoirs to their god. A false god.
Nothing but a mortal like Ollie and Shadow, Orion was just a man who fed off of fear and weakness. Shadow felt fearful, seeing this place felt all to real but she continued onwards, especially when she passed a door that had scratched wood, spelling out six letters.
H.O.L.L.O.W.
She blinked, that was newer, but not as new. Blood splatters etched the scratched in letters, and it was an isolated room. She gulped, curiousity bubbling as she gently pushed into the door, opening it, but remaining invisible. She was greeted by darkness, something like an old friend, as she stepped fully inside.

Ollie looked around for any nearby living memories before reappearing before the building. He was far enough away from Ress and Enix that he could start acting as a distraction. Besides, he needed to preserve his power for when they came across Orion. He followed Shadow inside, looking around. What was this place? The entire place felt strange and gave him the creeps. He stopped when Shadow stopped, and he looked through her, at the letters on the door. Was that... blood? An uneasy feeling made his stomach turn. Shadow entered, and Ollie hesitantly followed. He stopped by the door and looked into the darkness, his mind reaching out for something, anything.

Blink nodded. Good. She seemed to know what she was doing. He briefly followed her gaze to the room she had been in minutes before. Having not looked into the room, he presumed that her 'loved one' was inside. "Got it. I'll see you there." Turning, he walked away. He was already forming a mental map in his head with all the knowledge of the area as he could muster, but to see it from her suggested vantage point should clarify in his mind where it was. (Good evening everybody! Shall we timeskip, Light?)

Something was in the room, presence wise. But it didn’t seem completely human, but it wasn’t nonhuman either. It was terror, at it’s finest, about in a being that didn’t seem to live and breath, or really feel much of anything. It was unkown.
Umbra looked at the presence, frowning softly. Oh, they would never save their friend. She knew that too, she knew what her counterpart would tell. But the fact was blatant, the Holly that existed before was gone, and now Orion had Ollie where he wanted him. But she hid a smile too, for she knew little pathways of the future that no one else could see. “It begins,” she whispered.
Then there was Orion, and shades hiding about. Though Orion remained a bit silent, smirking softly, “Welcome, Ollie. It’s so nice of you to join us, but so dumb of you to come alone.”
Shadow glared at Orion, silent, though she felt fearful and tired, she looked back at Ollie, her breath fanning out softly. She was freaked out by the blood that littered the room, and what seemed to be parts of a dead body sitting on a table in the corner, with wires and metal scraps just laying about. But she did say she would help.

(Good evening! Sure. There was just one moment I thought of adding. That is if he didn’t see her nearby.)
On his way down, Blink paused near the only occupied room of the hospital. He stepped inside, stopping just inside the door. “You’re lucky to have someone like her,” he said, interrupting the silence. “I’ll get that cure. For both of us.” He stood there a few more moments in silence before turning and walking away. “Make sure to look after her when you wake up,” he murmured over his shoulder. He seemed to carry a mysterious air with him, as if his words had more meaning than he was actually hearing.
—(So the point of meeting?)—
It was dark, but Blink’s enhanced sight and high tech goggles made it no problem to see by the weak rays of the moon. He had arrived early to scout out the area before the truck came. He crouched on a hidden place just underneath the bridge. From here, he had a good view of the road below and the surrounding area. His black and silver suit hid well within the shadows. Fernando and Pedro were hooked to his hips, polished and ready for action.

(This is the part in a book I lean closer and read harder and faster, my heart thumping. XD)
There was a strange presence somewhere in the room. Ollie couldn't begin to explain it. Orion was there, as were the shades. The stink of blood permeated the air, and the surroundings were grotesque at best. Ollie nearly balked at the sight. When Orion spoke, a chill travelled down his spine. He looked in the direction of Orion's voice. It seemed Orion had been expecting him. Strangely, he wasn't surprised. It looked like Orion had been dwelling here for a while, which meant he was in the house of his enemy. Nobody said this would be easy. One good thing- Orion didn't seem know about Shadow. It would be best to keep it that way. He took in a deep breath, gathering his energy and forming a serious look on his face with a defiant gleam in his eye. He increased his awareness of those in the room, choosing to see more mentally than with sight. His vision blurred as his awareness heightened. If he wanted to make it through this alive, he must become like one with those around him. Like water particles slipping around each other. "Maybe I'm dumb, but I can't allow you to hurt anyone else, Orion. This has to stop now. Don't you realize the pain and fear you're causing?" Reasoning. It was his normal go-to. He doubted Orion would listen to even a word he was saying, but it was a start. He had to buy Shadow enough time.
Fury was almost shaking with anticipation. He was itching to kill the man. He wanted to kill him now! He took a step forwards.

The presence simply seemed apathetic, dead, and utterly hollow.
Shadow stepped behind Orion, she seemed to find something, her emotions swelling with glee and relief. Though, when went to get the little sunstone from his neck, she was stopped.
Orion smirked, holding the wrist of the invisible girl, pressing hard and causing a cry to escape as he grinned at Orion, “I know your not that stupid, Ollie.” He smirked as Shadow reappeared, eyes wide. His gaze coasting over to Fury, before falling on Umbra, “Though, I must admit, you’re not as smart as I thought. Tsk tsk, time’s ticking...you came here for something, right?” He questioned, holding up his other hand to hold off his Shades.

Fury stopped- half grumbling, half growling impatiently to himself.
Ollie muttered a curse under his breath when he heard Shadow's cry, something he rarely did. Orion had Shadow. This wasn't good. His blood raced, and his power throbbed in his veins. "What if I did?" He tried to seem unconcerned with the capture of Shadow.

Shadow froze, forcing her pain down, as she stared at Ollie. Why wasn’t he helping her? What was he doing? Though she found some fear building as she caught sight of the presence, her throat closing up.
”Well, then I’d have to offer you a trade.” Orion commented, smirking as Shadow’s eyes started to turn grey, her movements freezing, he was gaining control back, but she seemed to be fighting it. “My Shade Back, and you’re friend back.”
The presence stepped forward, coming into the brief light. Even in the darkness, the grey sheen to their skin was obvious, almost metallic, with strange patterns and crescents lining their cheeks, and their forehead. Ebony hair that fell in short cascades, flaring out at the ends. In singular green eye watched Ollie carefully, apathetically, but was recognizable. This was a younger girl, similar in age to Shadow, with some blood staining her, and looking eerily similar to the one Ollie had come to rescue. Though, the younger look and apathy didn’t seem to fit. Plus, the right red eye was new as well. It wasn’t like Holly, but all the same, it bared an uncanny resemblance of a younger version of her, but no emotion was held in her eyes. Her gaze turned, almost robotic, to look at Orion, “Master, there seems to be intruders,” the voice was even indifferent, without an influx in tone, it sounded dry and hollow. Everything seemed empty, emotionless and void.

Ollie stared, feeling sick. Had Evanesce been trying to play some sort of sick joke? This mechanical shell wasn't Holly, even if it looked somewhat like her. "What have you done?" As horrified as he was by the 'thing', he could sense Shadow changing. He had to act quickly. There was no more time to preserve energy. The blue crystal glowed, and he released his forgotten power in a burst of light. His eyes briefly flickered blue. It likely wouldn't be enough to reverse the corruption, but he hoped to at least stall the shades and possibly even Orion as Ollie vanished into the forgotten realm for the few split moments it took to run to Orion and Shadow. Last moment, he reappeared to grab Orion's wrist with the crushing grip of his metal hand, hoping to force him to let go of Shadow. His flesh hand was flashing towards Orion's head, ready to deliver a heavy dose of chaos and confusion upon contact. Such an attack was the only way he could think of to keep Orion from taking his power.
(I hope that wasn't too forwards or OP. Tell me if it ever is, and I can see if I can change things. I only have a few more cards, but eh, we'll see how it turns out. ^^)

Shadow was trying to fight back, clenching her eyes close. But she didn’t have to for long.
Orion felt foggy, like a curtain was pulled over his mind, and then Ollie was gone. However, he grunted in pain, releasing the girl as Ollie grabbed him, his eyes flickering in anger, though, this close up, Ollie would be able to see the orange crystal and the sunstone hanging lightly out of Orion’s pockets. Though Orion glared down, “Attack!” He yelled.
The presence blinked, standing beside Umbra, who watched the fighting. It went to move to follow orders, but Umbra stopped it, looking at it with cold eyes, “Not yet.”
Nodding the creature obeyed. Turning to watch the fighting continue.

(Okay good. ^^ I haven't actually been able to try out much of his power in actual fighting until now. XD This would be the third time he's used it against someone in a fight. The second time in close combat.)
Ollie's approaching hand slapped against Orion's forehead, his palm hitting at about eye level (or maybe even nose height due to his lack of vision) as he released his power in a sharp surge- but not before Orion called his shades to attack. A glimmer glowed in his peripheral vision and brought his gaze back to focus. He let go of Orion's wrist and snatched what he could from Orion's pocket. (This all took from about 1-2 seconds) As soon as his hand wrapped around one of the objects, next thing he knew, something struck him from the side. The second object clattered to the floor. With a cry of pain, Ollie was was sent stumbling across the floor.
Ollie rolled awkwardly to his feet, his flesh arm hanging. His teeth were gritted against the pain that radiated from his arm. It might be dislocated, fractured, or broken. He didn't have time to check for sure. Fury was stalking forwards, a mad grin on his face. A weighted staff was spinning in his hand. "Blink?" Ollie murmured. No. The man was similar, but darker, bloodthirstier. He must be Blink's shade. So Orion had gotten to him as well. He tried to calm down and reassert his mental focus of the room. In the blink of an eye, Fury was standing before him, staff arcing down towards Ollie. Ollie barely managed to disappear into the forgotten realm in time. The end of the staff smashed into the floor where Ollie stood moments before.
Blink hadn't pulled a move like that since he lost control many years ago. That one was dangerous. They all were. He had to be careful, outnumbered as they were. At least they were able to get something from it all. He opened his metal hand.

Ray's feet scuffed the sidewalk as he walked. One person glanced at him in annoyance, but Ray didn't care. He was taking the long way home. Maybe part of him wanted to get caught in the storm that was brewing. When the sky began to clear, he supposed it wasn't to be. Jerome was chilling at his place, and the girl... what was her name again? Anyways, she went home with her mother. Everything was sunshine and flowers, and Ray was back where he started. He sighed, and kicked a stone. The stone flicked into a nearby store window and alarms went off. Just great. Ray shuffled along faster, trying to seem inconspicuous. His shoulder bumped against someone in a sweater. He kept walking.
"Hey you!"
Ray kept walking.
"I know you! You're that dollah guy." She jogged up to him and took hold of his sweater. "Hey!" she shouted near his ear.
Ray stopped and turned. "I don't know wh-" He caught sight of her face and frowned. "Oh. It's you. Like I said. I don't have any money." He started to turn away, but Pip held onto his sleeve.
"Wait-" she pleaded. Ray could see now that her eyes were puffy. Maybe she didn't get enough sleep. She was staring at him in a frighteningly intense manner. "Go home," Ray said, turning away again. Suddenly nausea overtook him. The world seemed to suddenly grow in size around him. "What-!" Something was wrong. Incredibly wrong. Pretty soon, everything was huge, and the girl loomed over him, a dark figure against the giant lamplight. Before he could even adjust to the change, her giant hand clenched around him. "Hey!" he protested, wiggling in her grip.
"Don't worreh. I'll keep you safe now. You don't hafta be alone any mo'," her giant face smiled down at him. Creepy.
"I'm not-!" his words were muffled when he was dropped into some sort of pocket. He didn't know what was going on. All he knew was this was just one big misunderstanding. Today was just not his day...

Shadow watched this all happen, her eyes staring down at everyone, as fear enveloped her. She couldn’t help it as her eyes overcame with white light, pupiless, glowing, as her hair began to float. And in seconds, things began lifting in the room, flying towards the shades as Shadow hissed in anger, glaring at Fury as she sent them his way. “Leave. Him. Alone.” She warned, looking back at Orion. But almost immediately, she fell, gasping, the spurt of power was short lived.
Umbra glanced at the creature beside her, before smiling slightly, “Protect Forgotten,” she ordered, and Orion stared up at her with wide, angry eyes.
The creature narrowed it’s eyes, before walking forward, “Yes, Master.” It commented, approaching Fury with a passive, apathetic look, before glancing at Orion, “Halt!” She commanded, and Orion, despite his best attempts, froze, a red aura holding him in place, his face twisting into an angry look. She then walked closer to Ollie and Fury, standing still as she waited.

crap i did it again) Masaki gritted his teeth as he looked around for a way to stop Boris from attacking any civilians. Fortunately seeing a man come out of nowhere while they are on fire is enough to spook some of the civilians into running away. That and a man coverd in ice was probably triggering their flight response "So you're willing to go around and kill innocents just to do that? But what's to stop me from attacking you after you attack them?" He asked. He was trying to stall for time as he was trying to wrack his brain to formulate some type of plan. He didn't know the full extent of Boris' powers but he figured he would need to rely on his sight to be able control his ice like he usually does. (Sorry for dissipating into thin air, been busy trying to build something for someone bc they're too lazy to do it) Boris chuckled. "Do you really think I'd hit them all at once?" He questioned with a tilted head. "It's much easier to hit 'em one at a time, then by the fifteenth or sixteenth one you'll be too exhausted to do anything. I leave, and you never see me again." "Don't go underestimating your opponent now" Masaki warned "I highly doubt you would actually attack them one by one though. From what little I've gathered you would want me to feel the pain of not being able to save another person maybe even watch how my face changes as the despair comes over it or would that be too dark even for you?" He asked as he kept trying to think of something he could do but he couldn't think of one that could guarantee their safety. His best plan would be tomake a wall of flames around him and Boris but he didn't want to chance Boris attacking anyone. Masaki's shoulders slumped as the flames around him went out. "Bastard, you better hope we never meet again or I'm going to roast your sorry ass" he said

There nestled in Ollie's metal hand, was the sunstone. That meant Orion must still have the orange crystal. They weren't out of danger yet. As he stared at the sunstone, a picture of the other Ollie wearing it around his neck flashed into his mind, and he smiled a little to himself. "Let's finish what you started," he murmured, sliding it over his neck. Pain forgotten, it was no problem to do the movement. Soon the stone was resting right next to the blue crystal. When he looked up at the scene before him, surprise flickered in his gaze at the sight of the metal creature helping out, but his surprise quickly turned into alarm at what he saw next.
(I kind of hinted at the orange crystal falling to the floor, but Orion might have picked it up. I just thought I might clarify since I was so vague in the last post.)
Fury looked around, searching for Ollie, his eyes narrowed. Something struck him on the back of his head with a tink. Fury whirled around, snarling and pulling his weighted staff from the floor. There. It was Shadow. An old hate stirred within him. He never liked that girl. As objects flew towards him, he struck some with his staff and some of the objects sliced through the arms of his jacket. He blinked out of the line of fire, somewhere closer to Shadow, but not too close. Now that she was the enemy, he was free to attack her, right? He saw her fall and grinned. Perfect. Blinking again, he appeared before her, his staff arcing downwards, but the blow never landed. Ollie had taken hold of Fury's arm with his metal one, stopping the attack. Fury couldn't help but pause. For a moment it wasn't Ollie standing there, but someone else. The word Fernando flickered into his head. --- (Oh man. What am I thinking? XD I was so hung up on 'tonight' I forgot what time of day 3 pm is. -facepalm-)
Blink continued to stare down at the street below. The vehicles were few and far between at this time of day. His eyes had widened slightly with her sudden words, but he refused to let her see he was surprised at her sudden approach. Heh. Sleep. He probably couldn't sleep if he wanted to. He was normally a light sleeper, but if that could be called sleep at all, then these days he was sleeping even less than before. Coffee, and stubborn passion were his prime energy sources at this point. "I could say the same thing about you," he replied, turning around to face her. His eyes settled on the explosives she held. "What's your plan," he asked, nodding towards the explosives.

”Activate teaching mode,” Umbra hummed.
The creature stopped, before looking at Ollie and Fury, “To save the Shades, you must have the orange crystal, the object that allows control, and the bloodstone, which represents life and death.” She informed Ollie, before standing still once more.
Shadow curled up in fear, shadows pooped around her like voids, she couldn’t control her power, but suddenly, the hand that was about to hit her stopped, and she looked up with big wide eyes at Ollie.

Ollie's arm was hurting again now that he was in the remembered realm, but at least he could use his metal one. He let a flood of memories he'd collected from Blink slip through his silver hand. "Sorry. Not this time. Not like this." The blue crystal glowed softly as he spoke. It was enough to confuse Fury for a while. Fury stumbled away, groaning at the revival of memories that were buried inside, beneath the fury. Ollie tossed Shadow a flashlight he fished from his pocket when his metal hand was free. "Use this. He can't stand the light." He smiled at her and turned back to face the room. From what he could feel, Umbra and the metal-like being were helping them. That left Orion and any other shades that were lurking around. "Got it," he murmured in response to the being's words. He turned in the direction of Orion. That must mean he still had the orange crystal and the bloodstone. Ollie strode towards Orion, his senses acute for any presence heading towards him. If any other shade's were were going to strike, this would be when he'd expect it most.

Shadow caught it, nodding and turning it on, though it at first shined in her eyes as she held it the wrong way, causing her to grumble as she turned it around to face Fury with a glare upon her face.
Orion remained in place, though he smirked in the direction of the creature, “But I don’t have the Bloodstone,” He trilled.

"A bit bold, but not a bad idea with good timing," Blink commented, ignoring the challenging look in her gaze. He looked out over the road. Too early and the truck could change its route. Too late and the medicine could be crushed. "I can get us to the truck quickly. Then once we're there..." Blink reached into a pack at his side and tossed her a couple smoke grenades. "For cover, when we get it and go. You have an escape route planned?" --- (Okay. ^^ I'll throw up a post in a little bit. I've been an incredibly slow writer lately. XD)
