I'm not sure what I wanna do here but I want it to involve magic, romance (fxf srry) and adventure. I also need it to be super casual cause Im really bad at being active plus I'm on vacation rn.
If anyone is interested in that, hit me up and I'll prolly answer with a starter? Or pop in with a starter. I guess ye. I have a tendency to disappear also. Unfortunately. Sorry in advance. If someone wants to do 1x1 hit up the PM's;)
Cool. Just jump in to my nothing post.

Poppin! Thanks. I've been really feeling this.
I'm gonna do semi lit bc I'm lazy and on my phone:(
Finally, after hours of searching, Shree had found what she needed. Slowly, she pulled her hands out of the mucky green water, her fingertips looking pruny from the hours of searching. And out with her hands came a necklace. On it, was a small blue jewel which was glowing slightly. Shree enclosed her now wrinkly hands, around the small stone, convering it and it's chain completely. It was a miracle she had found it.
She gently placed the trinket in her worn out brown dress's pocket and straightened up. She wiped her hands down her sides and looked around. Surrounding her was forest and water. And at the moment, she was knee deep in the swampy water, her toes moving slightly, feeling the mud between them. Slowly, Shree began to make her way back to her home, made from wooden planks, on wooden planks. Honestly, it was more of a shed.
Idk what or how ur gonna answer this. I'm so sorry omg

((shhhh i'll make something up. i'm not entirely sure how we're gonna make it work but you know what we will. and dont feel bad for literacy, i'm currently trying to push my literacy up just a tad bc currently i'm doing like one paragraph repsonses so...))
Griffin had been searching around in this gigantic forest for ages. He came out a while ago trying to find some herbs with his mom but discovered they weren't in season. Disappointed they had turned back and gone home, but this time his mom sent him back --alone. Griffin strode confidently to where they found the stubs of where the herbs should be. When he found the spot, everything was right where his mother had said it would be. Easily the boy could pick out which of the seemingly identical plants his mother would need. The plants his mother wanted were that of the magical sort, they all were bred to look the same but only herbologists were able to tell the difference. Griffin put down his bag and began to study the plants feeling the plants veins and listening to its aura. As the lanky young man began to pick the leaves, he heard something, careful as to not make a sound he got up and scanned the area. Checking his jean pockets for his pocket knife he saw what had made the noise. It was a girl in a brown dress coming out of the water soaking wet heading towards a shack. Cautiously he called out to the girl, "Hello?" He figured a man in jeans and a button down plaid shirt couldn't be too threatening but people were always so paranoid, especially the ones alone in the woods.

Okay, I'm glad we're gonna make it work! ) If I don't answer is cause I've fallen asleep! I'm old and get tired easily lol..... And please don't worry about your literacy either, just you do you my dude. Shree was almost at her hut, so entranced by her steady wading: and the ripples in the water she was creating, that she almost didn't hear the voice that called out, a distant hello. That's odd, she's never heard or seen anyone else in these woods. Although she had been living here only briefly, so it was possible she had missed them completely during her stay, or they were even newer than her. Lost in thought, she almost forgot to turn around and answer the call. Slowly, she turned around, her light grey hair following behind her as she did so. Giving a slight wave, with squinty eyes, she responded hesitantly almost questioningly, "Hello?" Her voice came out in a small yet loud voice. She sounded like a young child, though she was far from that. She took one step forward in the pond, trying to get a better look at her new neighbor. It was then she remembered her necklace. She would need to put it in a safer location before she made any acquaintances.

((we got this. its fine if you fall asleep it happens. thanks yeah its just something that i wanna do for myself. thanks for being chill about it though, i go thru the 1x1 rp searches and its like i need you to write 5 paragraph responses and if you don't pls leave. and i'm like i'm sorry i'm trying man. and i get it bc if i can't give you stuff to work with ...nvm im rambling but no thanks ))
Griffin took the other hello as welcome, and waving back decided to draw closer to the young girl. Leaving his basket beside the plants he came closer to the pool. Griffin had never seen anyone around here, the three times he had been. He supposed it was possible someone else was looking for herbs or just wandering around in the nice little alcove the forest area created. The wading in the pond stumped him though. Why would you voluntarily step in that? he thought to himself quizzically. Deciding that as man who was previously just wandering around in the forest humming Disney songs to himself carrying a very feminine basket he decided that he was in stance to judge. The grass began to squish underneath his tennis shoes as he came closer to the marshy reeds. Once he stopped at the edge of the pool he realized the woman had gray hair and wasn't the young girl he mistook her for rather someone older. "I'm G-Griffin," he stuttered out.

Yes well. Looks like I fell asleep. Sorry my guy. Ya ya no need for five paragraphs unless u wanna Honestly, if I can answer a well written one liner, that's perfect lol
She watched from her place in the pond, the other person beginning to move. Forward. Closer to her, he seemed to be carrying something, it looked like herbs. A small smile crossed her face when she thought of a young man looking on his own for herbs. Whether it be for soups, ointment... Spells... possibly?
Shaking her head slightly she realised she had missed what he said, still lost in thought. Indeed she was staying. Back tracking, she took a small step behind her, creating once more small ripples in the water. She went in to a slightly defensive crouch, though the boy seemed harmless, she was still never at ease. She was ready to run if needed.
Finally, she answered, "I'm sorry," a pause, "I missed what you said, love." The last bit ending in almost a snicker as she glanced from the water back to him.

its okay i'm more of a nightowl anyways so people fall asleep on me all the time. ))
"It's fine," Griffin replied. "I said, I'm Griffin-in," he reiterated, trying to very carefully not to stutter, unfortunately this only made it worse. His voice rang out in the clearing making some of the birds nearby look up and hop farther away from them. Noticing this he kind of shirked away from the forested area and closer to the pond, rather awkwardly he stood, realizing that maybe the woman was hard of hearing. Of course, you put a guy who stutters and a woman who possibly can't hear, together, he thought to himself, shaking his head slightly with a bitter smile.

Griffin is v cute!!! And I'm sorry I kinda hit a block but I wanted to move the convo between these two along:)))
Shree stared at him. Looking at his lanky body moving slowly, closer to the pond's edge, "careful you don't fall in," she warned. The she hesitated before adding, "...Griffin". Testing out the name on her lips. A moment assed before she moved her eyes from his feet to his face, she realized he was quite young, he looked a little distracted, she thought.
Carefully, she took one more step forward before prying, "why are you here?" Not even realizing how blunt she was being. She patiently waited for an answer.

thanks! i'm trying out a char with a stutter for the first time as i know a good friend with a stutter and a stammer. and honestly i've hit a block with this one too. so its okay. i feel like once the chars get to know each other that it might be easier.))
"Herbs," Griffin replied easily. "My mom's witch but she's too old for the trek, so I got sent." Maybe it was the mannerisms or maybe it was just the black haired man's nature but he always had had a kind of lax tone about him that always just kind of rolled off in a very easy going manner. He shuffled his feet on the grass, his eyes flicking between the older lady and his now wet tennis shoes.

Oh really? I love that u keep trying new things!! :))
I low-key wanna do another round idea tho(idk what), but if you wanna keep up with this one we can do that too. I just feel like I've created a character that does not suit your cute Griff in any means!
