A burning tree fell on him. It says "his wounds from Tigerstar" but legit the tree is what killed him in the end

Firestar lost his last life in The Last Hope. Lightning struck a tree after his final fight with Tigerstar, going on top of him. So he lost his final life because of a burning tree.

He died from the wounds Tigerstar gave him, not from the tree. Dovewing just imagined him getting up and walking away because she didn't want to believe he was dead.

The Erin's insisted that he died from Tigerstar's wounds but in the book is literally shows him dying from a burning tree falling on him.

No. The tree that got struck by lightning was the tree that fell into camp back in Fading Echos, the same one that killed Longtail and paralyzed Briarlight. Firestar couldn't have been crushed by it because it was already on the ground prior to his death.

The Ultimate Guide, page 13, clearly states: "Except for one life lost to illness, he gave each of his nine lives for the sake of his Clanmates-most of all his final life, lost in the battle against the Dark Forest. A blaze of lightning marked the moment that Firestar joined his warrior ancestors-ancestors not by blood, but by heritage, honor, and tradition." And on page 74: "Face-to-face with his enemy Firestar, Tigerstar struck the fatal blow that took the ThunderClan leader's ninth life."
The tree didn't kill him. Tigerstar did.

This question is so controversial because the Erins are not consistent.
