A Hyperbeam smashed a tree and Zero nimbly dodged to the side. Percy covered his eyes from the debris that flew at them. "Alright everyone, use Thunderbolt. Azula, you use Grass Knot." one of the Gyrados took a hit and was knocked back into the water, stunned by the attack. Another Gyrados was enraged and smashed it's tail into the ground beside Zero. "Whoa there." Percy patted his neck to calm him when he reared up.

I wrote the summary paragraph for my essay, be proud haha A Milotic would be interesting! The Gyrados would definitely be more protective over their remaining territory if some had been taken.)

(congrats!!!!! I've done nothing..... lol) (Which will be super ironic bc Milotic are the Tender Pokemon and calm other Pokemon down... but i think that would have the opposite effect on Gyarados bc they just so angry) (Uh you wanna rp the Milotic?)
Spark got between Zero and the Gyrados and shot it with a Thunderbolt, driving it back for a moment so Zero and Percy could get a little space between them. She then swiftly dodged a Hydro Pump.
Sam turned their attention to looking around. "Okay..... if I was a pissed off Gyarados..... what would piss me off?" They muttered to themselves, scratching their head as they looked for anything out of place. "This would really help if I had a water type Pokemon to search the river for me." They shook their head, wishing their friend was here to help. HE would know what to do.

Sure ^^ And i'll let you know if I ever finish haha)
Percy nodded to the bug pokemon in thanks and had Zero put some distance between the water and him. If the Gyrados were going to attack the shore he wanted to stay out of their path. The raging Gyrados finally ran out of energy and looked confused, swaying from side to side "Azula use Grass Knot on the Gyrados on the left." the Grass Knot cause the Gyrados to fall to the side and back into the water. Two down.
On the small bridge that went across the river sat a large Milotic. Unlike your average Milotic it looked battle hardened and was much larger than what you'd see in the wild. Almost as if it had been a trainers once. If that was true it must have been abandoned. Perhaps that was the cause of its bad attitude. As soon as it saw Sam is opened it's mouth and sent and Ice Beam in their direction.

Spark had to use Acrobatics to dodge as one of the remaining Gyarados used Outrage and lashed out at her quickly. She sent off a Thunderbolt but was knocked back by a Hydro Pump from one of the other Pokemon. She righted herself and shook the water off herself, mostly unharmed.
"Oh shit," Sam swore as they dove to the side to avoid the Ice Beam. They rolled in the dirt a couple times before stopping, sprawled on their stomach. They lifted their head to look at the Milotic with a frown. "Well hello.... you don't belong here now do you?" They knew Feebas and Milotic didn't usually inhabit the lake. They whistled to get Flare's attention and made a twirling motion with their hand, directing the Talonflame to circle the Pokemon and draw it's attention. Sam then fished out their phone and called Percy, hoping he was in a position to answer.

Milotic turned it's attention to the bird pokemon and glared at it. It let out an Icebeam, but it wasn't aiming well through it's irritation. On the other side of the lake Percy felt his phone buzz against his hip. He slipped it out of his pocket, "Hullo! Find anything Sam?" if he was getting a call it was safe to assume the Champion had.

"Yeah, a big angry Milotic," Sam replied as they tried to maneuvar out of teh Milotic's direct eye-sight. "I think its an abandoned Pokemon, looks strong." They weren't quite sure what to do to get it to calm down and then move it so it wasn't in an environment that was unhealthy and causing too much problems.

"If you can't calm it down I think you might just have to knock it out. If we can incapacitate it we can move it out of here." Percy suggested. He was ticked that someone had dumped a Pokemon here. Didn't they know anything about invasive species?! "I would prefer we get this done as soon as possible and calm these Gyrados down."

"I'll do my best," Sam said before hanging up and focusing back on the Milotic. They wanted to see if they could calm the Pokemon down first, but if that wasn't going to work quick enough then they had no choice but to fight the Milotic. "Flare!" They called and waved their Talonflame over to them. When there was a break in the attacks from the upset Pokemon they stood up and tried to stand in a non-threatening way. "Easy there, Milotic." They tried to say in a soothing tone. "We don't want to hurt you. I'm sure you don't want to be here any more than we do. We just want to help." They had their hands up to show the Pokemon they meant no harm.

Milotic obvously wasnโt going to be swayed that easily. It lashed out towards Sam with its tail and the air around it grew cold as it prepared another Ice Beam. The grass around the bridge it sat on was covered in frost, showing that it had been here for a while. The water around the bridge was completely empty of Pokรฉmon. For a Milotic it seemed very violent and aggressive. It released the stored energy and froze the ground in a long row, the ice coating it in an instant.

Sam barely had time to dodge the tail and was about to get hit witht he Ice Beam but Flare flew in and managed to push Sam out of the way in time. "Thanks girl," Sam breathed thankfully. They quickly got back to their feet and reached into their bag and pulled out a berry. "Are you hungry Milotic?" They called and tossed it so it landed near it on the bridge. Their foot started to slip on the icy ground so they did their best to step to the side.

Milotic took their movement as a threat and opened its mouth again. This time however it used Scald. Piping hot water aimed at the bird Pokรฉmon spewed across the ground. The ice that had been there a moment before was melted by the heated water. It started to move from its position and towards Sam threateningly. Based on its actions it didnโt look like it was in the mood to compromise.

(AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH WHY IS HOMEWORK SO HARD TO FOCUS ON)
Flare was knocked away from Sam by the burning water. She was fine for the most part, lucky to have not gotten burned, but she had taken some damage and her feathers were soaking wet and almost too heavy for her to fly. Sam glance back towards their Pokemon before returning their attention to the.... very big and very close Milotic. "E-easy there Milotic," They said softly as they slowly started to back away. They reached into their belt to grab a Pokeball, but their foot slipped on the muddy ground and they fell on their back with a loud groan, Pokeball falling from their hands and rolling a few feet away. They looked up at the looming Pokemon, feeling quite... anxious about the outcome of the next few moments. "I have a friend right there," They spoke gently and nodded their head to the Pokeball. "Who can help calm you down so we can get you out of here. If you'd just let me..." They started to reach for the Pokeball.

Milotic looked ready to finish them off when a loud crack of thunder caused it to jolt in surprise and look over to the battle with the Gyrados. It looked like Percy had called out Alice who had taken out the last of the Gyrados with a large Thunder attack. The Milotic obviously noticed that the distraction was gone and that maybe another trainer was going to come over. That was enough to distract it from Sam for a moment as it considered what it should do.

Hey hey Noble, if you have some time you think you could trade some Pokemon with me? I'm really close to finishing the Pokedex and I only need the trade evolutions and some Pikachu exclusives.)

Sam took the distraction to scramble over to the Pokeball and release the Pokemon inside. "Rose use Sweet Scent!" They called as their Venusaur appeared between them and the Milotic. She let out a loud cry and shook the flower on her back, a pink powder spread out around the area, hopefully calming the Milotic when it smelled the powder. If now Sam was going to use Rose to battle the Milotic.

Milotic seemed to calm down a bit, but was still on edge. Instead of attacking right away it looked at Sam warily. These actions were a stark difference from the earlier attacks. Roses attack seemed to have worked in calming down the water pokemon. With the Gyrados no longer raging it almost felt too quiet.

Sam worked their jaw in thought. Their next move would either calm the Milotic down more or cause it to rampage again. "I'm not going to hurt you," They repeated softly to the Pokemon. "None of my Pokemon have attacked you, I haven't attacked you. I understand that you are scared and alone. If you let me I can get you to a better place that will have people who will be nice and take care of you." They tried to explain softly.

Milotic didn't look like it wanted to leave this place. After all, it was the place it's trainer left it. What if it's trainer was to return for it? The expression on its face looked a bit sad, but it lowered it's head in agreement. Percy took this time to walk over to Sam, keeping his pace slow and non threatening "The Gyrados are knocked out, but not for long."

Sam slowly stood up and glanced back at Percy with a nod. "Okay, let's head back to town with our new friend and figure out where to go from there." They recalled Rose and Spark back into their Pokeballs.
(Skip to when they are back to town? bc i have no idea how they are gonna get this giant Milotic out of there)

lol Sure)
Percy led the group back to town, which was a task with their new friend, and stopped by the Pokemon center. When they entered with a Milotic Nurse Joy was a bit stunned. She walked over to the desk and asked "Um, what can I do to help?" the group got a few stares from the other trainers in the Pokemon Center.

Sam quietly explained what had happened to the Milotic to Nurse Joy, ignoring the stares. "We were hoping you could check it over for injuries while we figure out the best way to take care of it." Flare was doing her best to befriend the Milotic and keep it calm while they were surrounded by all the trainers and other Pokemon. She wasn't being annoying or pestering, just calm and friendly.

Nurse Joy nodded, "Of course, please come back here Milotic." the Milotic felt calmer around Nurse Joy and slithered to the back room with her. Nurse Joy had that kind of nature that could calm anyone down. Percy assumed it came with being a healer. Sighing he turned to Sam and said "I'm glad we got that sorted out."

"For the moment at least," Sam agreed as Flare flew back over to them. "That Milotic was strong, that's for sure..... I wonder if it would like to come to the Pokemon League with me...." They wondered aloud. There was lots of space for a big Pokemon such as it and it would give the Pokemon the chance to battle and get stronger by battling other strong trainers.

"I think that it belong to a trainer. I can't be certain, but a few months a trainer came in and lost to me. One of their Pokemon was a Milotic." he hummed thoughtfully. The trainer didn't seem incredibly kind, but they didn't stand out as someone who would throw their Pokemon out "But I bet it would appreciate a change of pace and environment."

"If that's the case then that Pokemon has been by itself for a long time," Sam sounded upset at that fact, they were incredibly empathetic towards Pokemon and couldn't stand any Pokemon being in pain or hurt. "Well anyways, we didn't find Team Infinite which sucks but at least we know they aren't around here." Just another location to mark off in Sam's mental list.

Percy nodded "It seems that my city isn't housing any of them so far. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for ya though. And don't feel like you have to have official business to come visit. I'll take ya on any time." he rubbed Cheris head thoughtfully "If you do take Milotic with you, please make sure it has friends. Being alone for so long can't be healthy."
