"T-That's because it's villagers ...whom chose to heal left ages ago. T-They left to form their own home.... and-others...wandered the world to teach their methods-to those whom they deem worthy....o-or passionate about medicine and well being-" He coughed, "B-But... they chose to denounce the name Solai to walk their own paths....a-as respect by their once home-they were free to keep their name....and return as they please...b-but I doubt they would-n-now even less..." Rowlin inhaled deeply trying to stop the light headedness. He turned his attention seeing Celestia's unit come into play, his gaze was lost in the stairs, confused and flooding in sympathy. He was grateful for what Aika has done, to close a door on a light brimming moment, but upset to an extent to think how much other's had been driven down into this confusion. Derick shifted Aika around, he kneeled on one knee then lapped the other to act like a chair. With the makeshift chair he carefully sat her down. "Not human?" He raised a brow then placed a hand on on free hand, "I feel a hand, just like mine.." He then moved his hand and tapped her knee, "I feel a knee, and I spot a foot." His voice had risen to a light heartened toned. Reaching lightly for her hair he tugged on it lightly, "And hair, then two ears, two eyes, oh-a nose!" He poked her then finally moved his hand for her chest. "And the source of your spirits, your motivation, and your day to day fate; your heart." He smiled. "If you were not human, would you have not stood up for your people today? Would you have not apologized to the ones you accidentally accused? Would you not be here crying after the battle has come to an end? Or would you not be worried for the well being of others?" He tilted his head. "Experience is not given, it is earned; learn from your mistakes and weave it into your eyes of life." He waved a finger now, "Learn well, and be prepared for anything that is to come. If not for your sake, make it for the sake of those whom serve you." He nodded. "If you speak from within, your voice will be herd louder that the mask cannot bare to hold you silent." featherleg((Aye ty for clarifying I see-you were going more for an Avatar type feel where the water tribe is known for healing. )) ((I was just going with the nerve therapy, because it seemed most fitting for a painful reuinion. But I also had a leeway idea that you would have the two tribes be rivals of sorts. Therefore I included a "division" line, which thankfully came from my Bio Lecture this morning.)) (("If we trace far enough back, we are all related." "I am related to you, as you are related to me" )) ((While it sounds odd out of context the lecture was Evolution, based on what Science deems. Therefore if we use those websites to trace our blood and herritage/anything science; at one point we all cross paths without realizing. Ofc that's many YEARS.)) ((So I thought it would be most fitting. If I overlap in something that may seem too out there; do let me know or provide a crash course. But when I come up with stuff I will work my best to leave it most open to be later manipulated. In this case it's like Starwars. Where Star Wars The Clone Wars Animated Series happened in between episodes 2 / 3. They do whatever they want in that series but the outcome will always be the same. :3 ))

mintedstar/fur🦇 Rowlin shrugged at the thought, briefly closing his eyes to recall the moment. "A-Aye...make it be so. But, all is not too lost; it is very heartwarming to know that some traditions are still followed to this day. It keeps originality, and creates the best excuse for a father to punish his kid. Even if that culture is nowhere in their relations." He held excitement in his green eyes; it was the talk of recalling such adventures that filled his spirits with life. He held out a hand to demonstrate an inviting gesture; "O-Oh if you have an adventure to share, the floor is all yours." He stated in a very cheerful tone. "I have many stories of world travel, and most thankful to my profession I have been granted the opportunity to fly worldwide. Hence my friend too travels; which makes meeting up a rather interesting experience." A local? or someone new to town? If I wasn't new to town, it would be easier to tell them apart.. He blinked then turned to signal one of the waiters, "Tea please, surprise me!" He challenged then turned his attention to Tom, "Anything of interest?" He raised a brow. Tom payed no mind to the waiter. He was tired of the dirty looks. Maybe if he left them a tip at the end of the day they would let him come back. "Oh, I enjoy listening to different travel stories. But let me see..." Tom thought about it for a second. "Umm, worst time I ever had was probably when I went to Alaska. I can't deal with the cold so much, so I wasn't very suited for spending a week on a mountainside in a very bad snowstorm. If you want bad food, try eating the same rations ever single day. And on the way back down the mountain I broke my foot." Tom looked rather distasteful at that. It hadn't been the broken foot so much, but it had been to frozen to heal until he had gotten to a warmer building.

"How do you know all of this? Actually, don't answer that. You need to rest Rowlin. We'll discuss this later." She said as she propped Rowlin in front of her and began to trace star and moon like glyphs on his upper back wounds and slowly connected them together, linking her powers to increase the intensity of her healing as they shimmered a moon like silver. "This will help close and heal wounds that are not so deep and....well, hard to get to. I'll do my best to make sure your wounds heal efficiently. As your new teacher, I take fully responsibility for what has happened to you." As she watched Derrick a weak but elegant smile crossed her lips as she tried not to laugh. "I suppose your right." Take away the idea that my heart beats like yours though... "I'm afraid I made a promise back there....to tell the truth to those who saw what I did. It maybe be a...poor choice, but I feel like I can't keep this barrier that I've built up between those who trust me like you and Celestia do." Auransky (Not a problem! Haha yeah I take inspiration from a lot of things for this. The wolf that they fought was based off of the wolves in Bloodborne as well as the Swan's Fountain from the buildings in Bloodborne and the snowy/magic setting of I am Setsuna. Also I love that quote! Btdubz, I'm thinking of making Celestia a current character, not just a past one. Would you be comfortable with making Derrick one as well? It's fine if you don't but I thought I'd ask ^^)

Rowlin lightly laughed, but followed with a grunt of pain, "I-I can answer all your questions-w-when you feel it most fit..." He voice softly replied, he had regained some feeling, but it was a numbing sore ache. "I-I as well look forward to your instructions, oh wise one.." He turned his head to try to tilt the weight off once side, "I-I think...t-that did good-" He almost smiled. "G-Good?" Derrick turned his attention; "D-Did that devil mess with your head?" Rowlin silently shook his head, "I-I might-be able to answer where and why I was there that-night...." He rested his head against the tree now. "I-I take it you remember?" Derrick's voice sounded hopeful. "P-Perhaps..." Rowlin hesitated, "An image, but-it will come..." "Thank heavens.." Derrick nodded in relief. Derrick returned his attention back towards the Princess; he lightly pushed her off him, while standing back up himself. He laughed a little himself, "A dear friend told me once, to laugh in times of most troubles. But he also told me a lot of things that I still sit to this day and question-as per he was best known for his double meanings." He shook his head now recalling many times he had been lectured himself. "Nonetheless, the truth shines light, it brings wanders and all will be well. You have proved today, to have stood by your people. Your solders I am certain thought scared at first will follow you reguardless. If you answer their questions faithfully; they will see you for who you are, and not what you are." He tapped her on the side. "Now-we should head back, or-" Derrick paused taking a look at the clearing once more. "Should you take another minute to contain yourself?" featherleg ((hello hello! I just got home from a long day of school + errands + taekwondo. )) ((OOOHHHH I'd be so down for making Derrick a present day character. W-Would they be married? <3 Is it bad that I'm really loving this? W-Wait how would we make him survive so long? Time travel, vampire, a curse, accepting willingly a curse to stand besides the person he loves? Pfffttt Deerick will do anything for Celestia. )) ((oh, and can we just pretend that Drew, and vIdal were rescued,a nd brought back to camp; blah blah blah ))

mintedstar/fur🦇 Seeing that his new companion had no interest he confirmed his drink and watched the waiter go, before turning his attention back to Tom. He listened with interest to the story it sounded like a horror film alright. I'd be bummed too if I broke my leg in the cold like that... "The same rations?" He raised a brow, "Oh dear that does sound bad, but you should be grateful to still be kicking to this day." He lightly chuckled. "I've seen a few people break, and sprain on mountain hikes; this one person whom I hiked with at Mt. Whitney, boy was she something else. Ditched her boyfriend at the halfway mark because he said that he wasn't going up the full way since last time. A-Anyways; she makes it to the top, and on her way down she tears through her leg. Now she's dragged that lag 10 miles downwards, and trying to not slip and fall. It was brutal; to make it worst-o-or savage.." He tilted his head slightly upwards to recall the event. "She made it to the halfway point and was offered a ride down. She called them all babies and continued down the mountain, with her boyfriend accompanying by then. I love her to death, she's a great hiking buddy but my goodness she just showed all the boys who was boss. Afterwords she was told to rest up in two months; she was up and about doing things by the week, in pain but still moving. The time before that she also tore her muscles, got that looked at, was told to sit down and two weeks later she was hiking again." He shook his head at the thought now retunring his full attention back to Tom. "She wants us to get a group going for the Himalayas. W-Which I have no objections too, but goodness she will leave us behind!"

(Ohhh myyy dude they would be totally married. I think they just naturally work ^^ hmmm I was going to go with that they both turned, but a curse would be interesting. Oh and yeah Drew and Vidal are back at camp, for sure for sure. ) "Alright, that should heal within the next few hours." She said firmly as one of her men brought her horse over. "I feel like it would be most fit to speak when we're not in this forest that is charred and burnt to a crisp." For whatever reason, Celestia seemed rather....aggravated and frustrated, an emotion that she barely wore. And her troops had certainly taken note as they began to head back towards the village in silence. "I would laugh now, but I feel that would be ill of my current state physically.And...w-we should head back." Aika said as she felt her sides feel a bit more in place, but still worn. "I need to address our troops in some manner before I rest. We should also consider how to progress from here on out. Perhaps leave it to the majority to decide whether they would feel safe staying here with barricades and walls rebuilt around us or relocating to somewhere nearby." While she certainly wanted to stay within the village for not only her but her troops sake, but also to keep Celestia at her current state of power. Being near the Moon's Spire, which was located safely beneath the village center, improved her connection and strength with the moon that she and her people looked to for guidance. Leaving would mean losing that advantage, but would increase the chances of keeping her troops hidden. Auransky

"A-Aye..much appreciated.." Rowlin faintly smiled. He turned his attention back towards the clearing then looked around in silence. Hearing her tone was a bit frightful, not the soothing usual tone that would mellow the mood. Derrick nodded, "Very well then, we shall head back at once." He whistled for his companion. "But Princess, I feel like staying up here would be the wisest choice. We have the high ground, a most needed asset to our needs. Many others will agree." He waved then turned to see his horse stop around the outside of the clearing, he waved gently. "Then we shall meet you back at camp. Do not trouble yourself too roughly my lady; just see that everything will fair well." He assured then glimpsed over towards Ceselestia; he was upset seeing her like this, but what happened had happened. It was all unavoidable. His feet started shuffling across the clearing, before he began walking towards his horse. "R-Rowlin come with me.." He instructed. "A-Alright-" Rowlin blinked. "Well my boy, you ran all the way out here. Certainly no steed to head home." Derrick teasted helping the boy onto the horse. Rowlin fought hard against the urge to stand still; it was that feeling where not moving one bit felt more comfortable then moving. WHen he made it too the horse, Derrick helped him up, but the pain on his sides still stung a little. The healing would take time, and the mussels which went numb; will return with stinging horror eventually. "A-Aye." Derrick climbed his own horse. "We shall meet back at camp-and waste no more time for we must do this right." featherleg((I'll work on the form then! ;p )) ((But yea a curse, naturally turned, or something of the sorts. So by the guess in your surprise; mages don't have a longer life span? xD We can eventually come up with the "how" later. Or blame Vincent, because blaming a dead none-existent character seems to work best. ))

(I mean, they caaann have expanded lives through turning or by necromancy, but both of those forms of immortality are highly frowned upon. There's also godhood, but we haven't talked much about that ) Aika watched them as she breathed in the now ash filled air around them, letting out a small cough before she turned around to see Celestia's back turned to her, her hands balled into fists as she was now visibly shaking. "Celestia?" She called out in a whisper. "F-Forgive me my lady, but I need time alone." Never once had she heard her friends voice so broken. Part of her wanted to reach out to her, to remind her that they had made it, but obviously now was not the time. "Of course....just make sure to return to us." With that, she picked Kyv up from the ground and sheathed the blade before approaching her horse to head back to the village. Once she was sure Aika had left and was out of ear shot, Celestia slammed her fist into the tree next to her as her eyes closed. "I'm sorry father...for letting our home be ruined like this.....too see the grounds we hold so dear be consumed by our enemies flames.." A slow stream of tears flowed down her cheeks, collecting at her chin as she stood silently. Auransky

Riding back towards Camp; Derrick couldn't help but keep turning his head back. He could see the frustration in the two, but it was a big part of war. Everything was a price, there was no willing; it was a must, a need and a progression to the next page. He shrugged now turning his attention back forwards. "I-If you don't mind me asking.." Derrick glimpsed out. "Do you really hold a faint image of that brief vague period?" Rowlin nodded, "T-The pain-it resurfaced some questions, and-the answer I been dying to seek it is there on the tip of my tongue; I see it but I cannot grasp it." He looked down. A frightful reality surfaced, but....for now that is the least of my worries..."Just relax, we should be at camp shortly." Derrick assured. featherleg ((I'll let you decide then. that question isn't something that really needs to be answered, I just let my curiosity hit xD))

Aika kept her distance as she rode back, keeping the pace of her horse to a light stroll. Her mind wandered between trying to find the words she could say to her people to explain her circumstances while also dealing with the fact that she had taken someones life. This is war....one that I started. It should be expected. But.... She shook her head as she saw the buildings of the village coming into view. Her grip on her reigns tightened as she breathed in deeply, trying to gain her composure. Auransky(Sounds good ^^ )

Riding into Camp Derrick slowed his horse, into an open clearing on the side. He usually would head for the stables, but in this ocassion or seeing horses everywhere; just fit the moment. But then he realized he had Rowlin, so he turned his horse and headed for Rowlin's cabin. "Despite whatever you hear, or whatever appears, promise me you will rest." His voice was firm. Rowlin nodded softly, "A-At this point all I wish for is rest. But how many nightmares await, I wonder.." His voice sounded rather hopeless, but the pain and still sound of "water" in his ears muted his hearing by quite a bit. Derrick stopped by the boy's cabin, and assisted him off the horse. Despite Rowlin assuring he was okay to go inside on his own, Derrick insisted and helped him inside. It was only when Rowlin was seen by Derrick in his own bed laying down; that Derrick dismissed his voluntary services to return to the others. Once outside he climbed back on his horse, and began to ride through the camp. There was a lot of movement and talk. Rumors about ambush, traitors, and even some divine monster lurking in the woods. He couldn't help but tisk at the thought, or the fact that things have been driven. He paused spotting some of his own unit; approaching them their expressions said it all. "Our nightmares may be laid to rest." Derrick softly assured his unit. "Now we wait for the Princess to address everyone here, her unit, Celestia's unit, my unit and the other groups bundled into this little makeshift group." featherleg

Carefully, Aika dismounted her stead and took in one more moment of silence before walking towards the crowd that had gathered around Derrick. Have faith in yourself, you can do this. As she made her way to his side and in front of the crowd, only now showing how beaten and damage she was, her armor and clothing soaked with dried blood as well as her hair and face. Her gaze looked across the crowd before she spoke. "I understand that many of you are confused of what just occurred, and many of you have questions on the actions that were taken. I will try my best to answer what I can, but please ask what you will respectfully." Auransky

Drew, and Vidal made their way for the gathering crowd. They looked around and spotted Grayson and Ungus. Augustus, was in a far end pf the grojp, he had Riley leaning onto him for support. "I-Is it true that, Brodey and Nicholas are dead?" A Voice called out from the crowded. After the question was addressed another question rose, "Since last night... rumors raised, and please forgive me my lady.." another voice spoke out. "But these rumors have to do with yesterday; the wolf that attacked. O-oh would do us all an honor for you confirm that you were in no way connected to yesterday's attack." "W-What my.friend is specifically looking for to know," another voice spoke out from the crowded. "Did you somehow manipulate the wolf in attempt to kill us? W-We were all hoping for it to be a lie." "M-My lady, is it true that? ... that our enemy somehow managed to contaminate us with malaria?" Another voice asked. "B-Before Brodey went missing, there was talk about him having it by some intervention..." "Hey now, keep the topics relevant. Diseases are not!" Drew called out. "S-Sorry..." "M-My lady..." Grayson stepped forward swallowing in what's up being regret for asking. "I-if you do not mind, h-bow did you gain such marvelous strength? That which you gripped, and strength unwatchable to any of us, even if we tried. H-Huh speed, and reflexes were up there... A-Are you...secretly training with someone?" "M-My lady!" Riley called out. "I-Ks he....He dead?" He leaned against Augustus. His eyes skimmed the audience , hearing whispers that he* might actually be referring to Brodey or Nicholas, but he meant the traitor. His gaze was fine seeking an answer at the end of a storm. "Arent you going to ask her about how she pulled off that-" Augustus silently gasped. Riley shook his head, "...Grayson asked, I should.not waste my breath repeated." "But hereyez, and her being?" Riley glimpsed away. I-I wish to know, but... I cannot find my self to ask... she may do to me as she did back there once again.

So many voices, this is--no, I can do this. I must."From what I understand, both Brodey and Nicholas were executed at some point by Lacklan who is the one who orchestrated this assault. To address your concerns with the wolf that attacked Lady Celestia's caravan, I had no part in trying to manipulate or control the beast. The only actions I had towards it were to attack it and stop it from damaging both the caravan and the people with it, and those who were here in the village. As stated before by Sir Derrick, that type of wolf is a native specie to these grounds and usually does not appear as such a beast unless tainted or corrupted. I know no such way on how that corruption occurs, both now and before." Is that believable? It's the truth, but they could easily doubt it. "On the topic of disease, I am uncertain. I would advise everyone to be cautious for the time being while I and my ranking officers and generals look into it." She felt her knuckles go white as she heard the last two questions. She knew the answers; how would she respond? "I did not gain my skills in combat willingly. As many of you know, this war started when a rouge force attacked my family and a majority of the citizens in the capital. What has been kept hidden for these past months is what happened to not only myself, but many others during the attack. We were killed. I speak not in metaphors nor in the idea of passing due to losing ones home, but in the fact that I lost my life that day. The only way I stand here now is by means that I still have yet to understand completely, but some of you have already witnessed what I am capable of because of the events that took place on that fateful day. Now I understand that many of you might be frightened of what I am, and I openly accept that. My only wish is that you all will one day be able to see that I did not wish to become this." Her gaze now turned from uncertainty to determination as she spoke, as if once more, something snapped into place. "What I do wish for is freedom and peace for you all. For my people, my nation, to return to prosperity once more. If that means I must use these new found skills to do so, then so be it. However, I still want you all to trust me. And has a dear friend once told me...trust is earned. So if I must earn your trust, I will try my hardest to do so. I hope telling what I have now will start that trust, as well as the news that Lacklan's madness has been ended." Auransky

featherlegMurmurs were herd from all directions, each holding a different tone based on the.various responses. Eyes would occasionally turn to a different direction before turning back towards the speaker. Between the whispers , a few voices were herd more clearer then others. "So Brodey wasn't the traitor?" "But Lacklan said he was-" "N-no you idiot,The princess just said Lacklan was the traitor." "-Does that mean everything Lacklan said was a lie?" "-what does she-" "Shh! Hush now, she is still addressing us." The whispers fell silent. Attentions returned back towards the princess. "N-Ny lady..." Augustus raised a hand. "You wish to seek the freedom of our land which was taken within the blink of an eye. That much is agreed upon all of us, but-we can you assure us that you will not rip our hearts for pure pleasure?" "W-what does he mean for pleasure?" "We are in war... traitors must be stopped" "But ripped hearts?" "It probably means manipulation.." The whispers died down again. Grayson slammed his sword deep into the ground. "Princess, I don't care what anyone says! I don't believe such rumors, and I don't care what happens to myself at your hand. Death, died? Those words hold no meaning because I clearly see you right before me. My father spent his life serving your bloodline, and every day he'd come home he would talk of wonders of your family. How pride gave him strength to do his duties for your family. You have earned my respect as my father has given respect to your family. May death come to me at its greatest!" He stood upright , keeping a firm tone despite the whispers which flew in the clearing. "I speak this openly, I follow you; whether you were a monster , turned into one or will become one. You are our hope.to tomorrow, and if you lead us into the fire, then I die a fool. I still doubt your choice for advisor, but if you picked him out of your decisions then I respect that. Go-to anyone who dares say otherwise, I wish you well in life." Ungus stepped forward, "my family is nothing more then mere shoe makers. Had it not been for the royal family's open opportunity to enroll for apprenticeship , I would not be here a Knight by your side. I am thankful , and have seen the family do great things time and time again. I stand by you princess, and you alone." "My sister-she was a maid at the royal castle." Drew stepped forward. "She spoke of marvels and luxury which the family lived in. But she too spoke of the kindness and consideration of the family under many situations. She was killed that night alongside many others whom served the house. But I too am glad to have been an apprentice of many knights before me. I wish their deaths not to be in vain , and i wish for my sister's soul to smile for she talked of the princess none stop. Therefore, I promised to fight until we reclaim our land." Vidal finally made his way forward. "M-My parents worked as tailors in our family shop. They always were most delighted to work for the toyal family. I enrolled as an apprentice, and sometimes I was able to deliver the orders personally. The castle walls had a voice of hope, and prosperity for the future of our people. When the engagement was spoken off my parents were most happy to have had the honor of making the princesses attire. B-But they too were most saddened when the attack happened. They are alive, but they too seek vengeance for those whom lost their lives that day. Hence i will walk with the princess until my final day." Riley stepped out of the crowed with the help of Augustus, "My father was a Knight who's final assignment was with Vincent-" he paused to take a breath, his.sounds any have been minimised, but the pain of memories still lingered. "M-My father was assigned personally amongst many to serve the exclusive unit. Before that he served the castle grounds, as many others before us. He always discussed with us as apprentices the good which the family did. It is through what the house did which earned respect for the family. I-I will follow you, my lady..." "As will i-" Augustus helped his friend rebalance his posture. "My thoughts do not change." Derricks called out. "I have surveyor family, been given the opportunity to serve in the exclusive unit, and shall continue to aid you to my best efforts." "I will stand by you!" "So will I!" "The lies will not break us!" "Princess, do not doubt yourself!" Other voices added in, as more and more agreed. Granted there was still a few individuals who stepped farther back into the ranks, but the majority were on board.

Just as she was about to respond to Augustus's question, she watched the out pour of responses from each solider which quickly overwhelmed her. Mother, Father, where ever you may be, I hope you can see this. She waited until the crowds jeers had lessened before speaking again with a gentle smile. "Thank you, everyone, for putting your faith in me." She bowed deeply in response, but felt the immediate pain of one the wounds on her waist open up. I-It didn't heal properly?! Was the only thought that crossed her mind as her right hand clutched the area of the wound, her knees buckling a falling forward as a wave of faintness hit her. Auransky

"P-Princess!" Derrick ran out to assist Aika who had collapsed. He knelt down and quickly lifted her into his arms. He wasn't about to let his face of concern flood the show; keeping a sturdy face he faced everyone. "Well then, you have seen what sacrifices your princess puts for you all; and many of you have shared your trust and reasons for her. Now all of you are dismissed, go rest and await your next orders." He turned away and started walking for Aika's quarters. "Celestia, come with me!" He called as he raced off. featherleg((Sorry for not replying sooner xD I was making the question of the week, in OTD))

(Its all good! I was actually at work for the last five hours so don't worry ^^ Also I feel so bad for Aika because of how stressed she is but I'm somewhat glad I get to build her character in this backwards manner since in the current timeline she is much stronger and confident in her decisions than she is currently) Colors began to blur in and out of her vision as she tried to keep her eyes open. "Did I do the right thing Derrick?" She muttered as she started coughing; clearly some of Lacklans attacks had done a number on her or weren't able to be healed back in the forest. Her back felt like broken twigs just sitting on water. Hearing Derricks voice, Celestia snapped out of her frustration and got on her horse, riding back as quickly as possible. She could cry later, right now she had a job to do. Auransky

"My lady, you did a fine job." He softly assured. Oppening the door he walked in then rushed through the rooms for her personal quarters. Once inside he gently laid her on her bed, "Now you must really rest-this is too much in such little time." He stated softly, taking a look at his wrist, S-She'll be here soon...for sure!"But do not worry, it seems you fared well, and the results were most uplifting."

Aika nodded as she felt the warm and softness of her bed surround her. Her eyes closed as she tried to regain a normal pace of breathing. A few seconds later Celestia entered the room, the area around her eyes still slightly red but she seemed better nonetheless. The coat she was wearing early was drapped across her shoulder as she had changed into what appeared to be a healers outfit, which very much differed from her normal battle uniform as the tones of the cloth were much softer. "Looks like she's getting the hang of self healing, but it's still not enough yet." She said as she set her healing pack down on the side end table by the bed. "I heard her speech, how was it received?" She asked as she pulled her hair into a loose bun, revealing the tattoo like birthmarks that ran down her neck and disappeared under her shirt, all of which resembling different constellations and moon cycles that only Lunaras were know to have. A Seeing Celestia walk into the room, Derrick smiled towards her presence. He was a bit curious with her attie, perhaps a little distracted; as he was too used to seeing her in her armor for battle. He pausd for a second to see her supplies, then glimpsed at her back. "A-Ah.. well her speech was well recieved." He stated with enthusiasm. "It went well, and we should have the sun shining on us ahead." He nodded now at the thought. He couldn't help but raise a brow now, "Oh that sounds like good progress! Over time she will master it for sure! B-But...for now what she needs most is rest." He shuffled the ground a bit with his feet, "Shall I leave you to tend to her?" He softly asked. featherleg

"Good to hear." Crossing her legs on the bed, she started pulling a few herbs from her pack and began mixing them in a small bowl. Her eyes looked up at him as she nodded. "I'll let you know if I need anything. One last thing before you go though...they don't believe she actually died, do they?" While vampires were nothing new to Celestia per say, she knew most people wouldn't believe they existed until they themselves encountered one in a rage of blood lust. Even if she showed everyone the massive wound Aika had received that day, they still wouldn't believe what had happened. Ignorance is bless, right?Auransky

Derrick nodded as he watched her mix the herbs, it was quite a wonder to know what to mix, and what to avoid. "I-I will gladly aid you at need." He paused, then shook his head. "T-They do not, so perhaps; it worked on our interest." He considered then leaned to the side a bit."But yes, if you'll excuse me-Do call me if you need me!" He stated walking out of the room. He made his way through the house, and out the door. It had been a long day for everyone, rest was best at most. He walked through the camp, heading to where he had left his horse earlier. Upon gazing out he blinked seeing his horse was gone. He crossed his arms now thinking about what possibilities. Perhaps one of the others...surely, yes! He turned his attention in a different direction. I should check on Rowlin first.. His feet turned and off he went through the camp. featherleg

Celestia chuckled to herself as she watched him leave before returning her attention to her work. While her magic did help heal wounds, her elders had found that the healing effects Lunaras's had did not ease the pain until the wound was fully closed, hence why they used herbs to help release any tension or pain that injuries would bring. Carefully, she removed Aika's armor and rolled her clothing away from her waist wound and began to clean the area. "You know Aika, it's kind of weird to think I was going to be sent to serve as your 'right hand' in the capital while Saizo was to be your 'left'. I mean, in a way, we still are." She said as she began to apply the ointment she made to her wounds. "I just didn't imagine I would still be fighting. To think I was going to be a diplomat...it still seems foreign to me. Although, I guess you could say the same for yourself now...." Auransky

Derrick made his way for the boy's cabin. It was once outside that he paused before hesitating to knock. Perhaps asleep-or attempting too. If he is, I should come back later and check- He stumbled seeing the door open partly, it was Jakup, but the greeting expression on the lad's face seemed rather edgy. "My boy, I hope you fare well." "I fare well, your concern is most appreciated." Jakup leaned outwards. "Is something the matter, if so; I can tend to it-" "N-No no!" Derrick assured. "all is well, I am just making my rounds, and checking on everyone." He lied calmly. "Oh, well; all goes well. If most I can assure you when my friend wakes up." Jakup nodded firmly. "W-Well may I check on his physical state in the last?" Derrick leaned to the side to glimpse inside. "You have much to do, surely everything should fare." Jakup assured. "What are you hiding?" Derrick raised a brow. "I hide nothing." Jakup calmly replied. "If it were not true, then we would not be here asking this question, now would we?" Derrick rested a hand against the door. He tried to lightly push it open but Jakup was applying force. Is he killing his friend or something-o-or did Rowlin run out and ask him to cover? He sighed now turning his body away while keeping a gentle hand against the door. "Well I guess I shall return at a later time-" Feeling the hold on the door relax, he turned and applied his full force to push the door fully open. Jakup did not expect this from Derrick, he was pushed back inwards as Derrick stepped in. "Now you tell me boy, what mischief are you two up to even in this dire setting?!" Derrick closed the door behind him. Jakup stumbled back into posture with hesitation, "It is nothing bad. We aren't up to anything, honest." "Then why the secrecy?" Derrick crossed his arms. "W-Well..." Jakup bit his lower lip. "Come boy, speak!" Derrick ordered. "He's having nightmares-" Jakup softly stated. "Then wake him up!" Derrick leaned forward. "He's muttering the events of his first encounter with Lacklan. He mentioned Vincent a few times, and several other questionable things." Jakup frowned, "I-I was writing down what I herd." Derrick grasped Jake on the shoulders, "T-Then why are we here? Come on," He dragged the boy into the next room. featherleg

(I'm just going to a bit of a time jump if that's alright with you on Celestia's side of things) After three, no, probably four hours of deep concentration, Celestia had managed to heal most of Aika's wounds before she felt herself hitting the point of breaking. Just like vampires, magic borne had limits to their powers as well. It was rather visible that whatever spells she had been casting took a major toll on her, as her skin was not only covered in deep black and purple bruises, but her birthmarks that usually were hidden were now constantly glowing across her whole body. "I-I'm sorry dear friend....I'm afraid that's all I can do for now. Sleep well." She said as she wrapped her coat around her and made her way back to her cabin, trying to conceal herself as much as possible before entering the cabin, closing the door behind her, and removing the garment as she sighed deeply. And I thought yesterday was bad...Auransky

Derrick had sat in silence listening with Jakup to Rowlin's muttering. Though it appeared repetative, new words would mutter from time to time. The two boys had exchanged expressions from time to time as they listened to Rowlin mutter. "W-Well.." Derrick shrugged at the thought. "He said more, but that questionable moment is still a blur." He frowned. "Perhaps, but he will certainly bring it up." Jakup sounded hopefully. "Maybe, it be best we never find out-" Derrick considered softly. "Why so?" Jakup raised a brow. "Lacklan's dead....and maybe it be best we drop this all together." Derrick gazed away. "W-Well perhaps." Jakup nodded. "Alright my boy, I'll get going." Derrick stood up, "I've spent some time here, and I must get some rest myself. Do take it easy, and relax." He assured before dismissing himself. Jakup turned his attention watching him walk out of the room, he kept his gaze out until he herd the front door open and shut. He turned his attention back in, and leaned back into the chair. Once outside Derrick glimpsed around in thought. "Well, I must get rest." He softly told himself, then walked along the camp heading back for his cabin. Celestia might be asleep, so I should walk in carefully.. He considered. ((It's fine. )) featherleg

Sitting down on the bed, Celestia let her head fall into her hands as she took a deep breath in and exhaled. Her eyes wandered to look at her arms which still glowed a pulsing silver and blue. I'm going to be a bright blue flame for the next eight hours, huh? She thought as her eyes closed and curled her fingers into her hair. Mom was right, being a Lunaras does have it downsides. Shaking her head, she leaned down to start untying her boots while trying to figure out how and when she would start to train Rowlin. Probably not tomorrow since they all needed rest. Hopefully whatever sword training he was given was enough of a stepping stone for her to use in the future. Auransky

Derrick made it for the cabin; he silently walked in then closed the door behind him. He let out a puff of air, relieved to be able to call it a night. He headed for the bedroom, and without really a second thought he casually walked in and began removing his armor in the side of the room. The room was illuminating enough, that he assumed Calestia just left a candle on the side; Oh this feels relieving.. He let out an alleviating breath after removing all the armor which weighed on him all day. All he had now, were his tights, and rather loose shirt. It was when he turned to see Calestia lighting up , that he blinked in surprise. "O-Oh.." His voice was on a high note. "Y-You didn't light up a candle-er....to say you are a candle;n-no.... I mean you light up the room.." He blinked "W-We should sleep..." he softly stated. (( featherleg Any time skips in mind And I'll work on Derrick's form, just how old is Celestia btw o/ )) ((Second- up to this point I never really thought of an ability for Rowlin Maybe I did but it just sorta never slipped my mind. any thoughts? xD))

(Age wise she would be 26. Hmmm I was thinking maybe he has a modified version of mind control?) Celestia looked up at him in a rather startled manner, her cheeks were a dark red in response to both his compliment and just his general presence. "I-I usually try to hide all this but....my birthmarks tend to show after extending periods of healing. It's rather distracting to say the least...." She said sheepishly as she humbled with the ends of her hair. Auransky
