So, I saw this and I've actually never been on dragon cave before today, but I remember my dragon obsession just half a year ago. So I joined and have two eggs. What exactly am I supposed to do?

Clicked your eggs! Basically what you do is raise your eggs to adulthood by having people click them, and collecting as many dragons as you can. Some dragons have special abilites, and some are rarer than others. You can breed hybrids sometimes by breeding two different dragons together, or just breed your collection up. There are some end goals you can make for yourself, like having a male and female of each dragon, or getting the GoN (Guardian of Nature), and the Avatars as well.

To add to the above:
There are some helpful places like 'click sites' that you can add your dragons to, so they have a better chance of living. The general rule is: only add them to two or three on when there day counter reads 6-7 days. Once it hits five days you should be safe to add it to as many as you want.
Other long-term goals are to make an impressive lineage (like I am planning, using some lyrics for names), or getting rarer things like Cheese dragons, chickens, a Leetle tree, or the rarest dragons: Neglected and Zombies.

Oh, okay. I read through the entire thread. Can my eggs be put in the hatchery? They're in my signature. The first one has 4 days 18 hours, the blue and white has 6 days and 23 hours, the white has 7 days, and the pink one has 7 days. And I'll probably be getting more until I reach that limit mentioned somewhere.

Based on what I've been told, people have to click on it for them to be healthy. I've clicked yours!

Hey little! Basically, the goal is to get your dragons to adulthood by other people clicking on them. They have a limited time to hatch and grow up until they die (starts at 7 days.) Essentially you're reliant on other people to get your lil' cuties to live. There are different stages of hatching, as you can see with my eggs. They'll start to get cracked until eventually they have big holes in them, letting you know they're almost hatched. After they grow up you can get more eggs, raise more dragons, breed your dragons, etc. There are different levels of rarities on dragons, so you can aim to collect the rarest, or make certain challenges for yourself (like getting male/female of every dragon, starting a lineage with song lyrics, etc.). It simple yet challenging, which is the cool part Also- I've clicked your eggs to help you along : )

Thanks silver! Can you explain the whole eggs getting sick if they have too many views at once thing? Also the actions I can do on them. Thanks! I've already clicked yours

Sure! The first part is pretty straightforward; If you get too many clicks on your eggs too fast, they will get sick. You can use the 'hide' action to fog the egg so no one can click it, and it can get better. 'Unhide' it and people can click it again. If you have had an egg for more than five hours but dont want it, you can use the 'Abandon' action and it'll go to the abandoned pile, which you can access here (https://dragcave.net/abandoned). The 'Kill' action does just that. If you can't abandon the egg because you haven't had it for five hours, you can kill it. This is (I'm pretty sure) the only way to get rid of a hatchling. When your egg hatches you can name it using the 'Name' action . However, the name has to be unique. Meaning, if one member named it's dragon 'Rain', you can't name your dragon 'Rain'. Hatchlings and Adult Dragons have a few extra 'Actions'. Hatchlings have a 'Freeze' action, which keeps it from growing up. You can also use 'Describe' on hatchlings to add a personal description and to give your dragon more character, but only if it's frozen. Adults have a 'Breed' action, which you can use to breed them (obviously). You can also use 'Describe' on adult dragons. There is also 'Release', which is a peaceful way to get rid of your adult dragon. Also, on certain dragons, there is a 'BSA', or 'Breed Specific Action'. This means that certain dragons have certain ablities. For example, a Pink Dragon's BSA is to influence the gender of an egg, the Red Dragon can make your egg hatch faster, and the White Dragon can cure sick eggs.

Thanks much! This really helped : )
I can't wait to see what my dragons look like!
Oh, and do you know if it tells you that your dragon has gotten sick?

Not exactly, as it hasn't happened to me, but it should say under the lines of the description about it being sick. I looked it up on the wiki and it should say something like, 'The shell of the egg seems soft, as though there's something wrong with it.' For hatchlings, it should say, 'The hatchling seems sick. It hasn't been eating lately and it doesn't move very much.'

Silver is correct. It appears by the egg/hachti description. It's happened to me before, so I know. Nothing you need to worry about to much now. Just don't add your above 6 days old eggs to more that 2 or so click sites until they reach 5 days.

White dragons can heal sick eggs? One of my eggs is apparently a white dragon, so that means it'll grow up to become a pediatrician or something.

I've clicked them as well Also: Yay! My egg isn't sick and my other eggs have hatched! Time to grow my nursery :3 Daydreamer if it grows up to look like this guy then it should be able to help prevent an egg from dying of sickness. I haven't been able to expirement and see if it actually cures the egg, as I haven't gotten one yet.
