So I wanted to make a semi-advanced or advanced small group roleplay. I had a couple ideas, but I wanted to get input/ideas from others. I was thinking that a guideline for post length would be 3+ paragraphs.
Plot ideas --
SURVIVAL- This one can go different ways. I was thinking it could be a basic plane crash island survival thingy or I had a dream where some college students or young adults won a trip to a luxury resort but they got there and everyone was gone. They have to survive and don't know why. Turns out it's a tv show taping them.
POWERS - In this world, people with powers are rare. Their powers show up around the age of 8 and the kids are usually kicked out onto the streets because they cause trouble and the parents don't know how to handle it. There's different groups after them (I have group descriptions typed already). A group of powered teenagers come together to escape to the Inn, a rumored safe haven.
SLICE OF LIFE - Basically a Friends type role play where they all live in a couple of apartments and live life together.
The second two are by far my favorite. Anyone wanna help?

I might end up making two separate ones for the last two ideas... I'd still need help with the first one of those two

Explanation of stuff (city, Inn, etc)
These are the groups I had described. They're all after the kids with powers Government // The government has a special division solely for tracking down and capturing kids with powers alive. They're then brought back to a secretive lab for tests in an effort to figure out what causes the powers. Predators // Predators are a private group working independently. They capture or kill powered ones and then either do the research themselves or sell the captured ones to the Ghosts or Government for a heavy fee. Ghosts // The Ghosts are a private company that work with the government. They deal with the unruly and dangerous powered individuals and can use rougher means to capture, even kill, their targets. They're paid a heavy salary. Lone Wolves // Lone Wolves are individuals that kill powered ones. They have their own reasons for what to do, but tend to be the most ruthless kind because they have no rules governing their actions.

Roles --
Leader - This guy is a natural leader. He's always been one to take charge and knows how to make the tough decisions. He'll do anything to protect his people. He's stubborn, strong, and protective.
Mother - This girl works closely with the Leader. She's the responsible one who makes sure everyone is safe. She's almost a moral compass for the group. She's caring, responsible, and mature.

Healer - This girl has dreams of being a doctor. She knows it'll never happen, but she has taught herself as much advanced first aid as she can and uses it to take care of her friends. She's sympathetic, lovable, and quiet.
Thief - He grew up on the streets. He had a rough childhood, but he learned how to survive. He's made himself a life by stealing from others. Though some of the others don't like it, this guy steals whatever they need. He's sarcastic, tough, and charming. {taken}

Fighter - This guy grew up on the streets. He knows how to fight with an assortment of weapons, as well as his hands. He's got multiple weapons on him at one time. He's strong, violent, and threatening.

Rules --
1 - This is a literate and advanced roleplay. I expect proper grammar and spelling. I don't expect perfection. I'm not perfect either. All I expect is effort. I'm also asking for a minimum of three paragraphs per post.
2 - Characters cannot be perfect or overpowered. Their powers come with drawbacks and the majority of our characters didn't have training. That means their powers may react unexpectedly and cause problems. You can also claim two characters, though they must be opposite genders.
3 - Have fun, respect each other, and follow forums rules. They should all be pretty basic without much explanation needed.
4 - Activity isn't a huge deal. I'm not super active either. Just come on once or twice a week.

Powers -- This is where you get to choose your character's power. There's only one character that has each power. I included a description, as well as drawbacks. If you want a power that's not on this list, just clear it with me and include a drawback.
Super Speed - This power allows the user to run at speeds unimaginable by human beings. However, it lasts for only a short period of time and makes the user more susceptible to tripping/crashing and getting injured when running.
Invisibility- This power lets the user and clothes become invisible at will. Anything they're holding will not become visible. However, the potency of the invisibility fades with time so it's easier to detect this person. They must rest the power so it can regain its strength.
Shape-Shifting - This person can shapeshift into any animal at will. However, they cannot disguise them self as another person, plant, or inanimate object. However, of the user stays in one animal for too long, they will become that animal permanently.
Fire Control - This power allows the user to control, manipulate, and create fire. They can also not be burned. However, they have a weakness for water. They cannot hold their breath for a long time or swim, making it very easy for them to drown.
Water Control - This power allows the user to control, manipulate, and create water. They can also breathe underwater. However, they are more susceptible to burns and fire.
Healing/Limb Regeneration - This power allows the user to heal themselves and others. They can even regenerate lost limbs. However, this power cannot be used during cooldown so it must be used sparingly. Cooldown time is related to the amount of power used, so healing a cut would have a much shorter cooldown time than healing a broken bone. Some wounds cannot be healed.
Voice Imitation - After hearing a voice once, this person can imitate it perfectly. However, they don't look like the speaker, so it only works when they're out of sight.
Plant Controlling - This power allows the user to bend plants to their will. They can make them grow quickly and do their bidding (tripping up opponents, etc). However, it can only be used with heathy plants in very plant dense areas. Grass does not obey this person.
Animal Communication - This power allows the user to speak to any animal. However, they cannot influence or control the animals. The have to make the animal like them if they actually want help.
Telekinesis- This is the power to control objects with one's mind. The user can move objects at will. However, it does not work on people and the user gets horrible headaches and exhaustion after using it.
Super Strength - This power allows the user to lift things that would be too heavy for a whole team of normal people. However, they get weaker and weaker the longer they hold something without a break.
Influence - This power allows others to influence the thoughts of others. However, it's not mind control and can easily be broken.
Enhanced Senses - The person with this power has all five senses enhanced. They can do things such as hear from further away and see things that others cannot. They also have night vision. However, enhanced senses mean that the senses are also more sensitive and easily damaged.
Walk Through Walls - This power allows the user to walk through any solid surface. However, they're very vulnerable right before and after walking through a wall.

Explanations--
Background - People with powers are rare. They're mysterious. Most of all, they're extremely dangerous. In the past years, children have been developing strange powers seemingly at random. Without knowledge of how to control these powers, parents aren't able to teach their children to master these powers. For this reason, these children become extremely dangerous. Powers begin to develop around age 8, and these children are usually on the streets, in a safehouse, in a government lab, or dead by the time they reach their teenage years. These kids, though dangerous, are also in a lot of danger themselves. The government is rounding up as many as possible in an effort to discover what causes these powers and to see if they can recreate the phenomenon themselves. Other groups capture them for the money. The government and independent scientists are willing to pay top dollar for a child in good condition. Other groups, and even individuals, are in it to kill these children.
The Inn - The Inn is a rumor shared among children living in safehouses. The Inn is a safe haven for these kids. It's said to be on a secret island where they're safe from any of the groups trying to capture them. They can train and learn in peace. Nobody knows how to get there. There's very little information about it, and even less is reliable.
Safehouses - Though it's hard to survive to adulthood in this world, some people manage to do it. These adults then take in kids they find on the street. They homeschool them, teach them to control their powers, and then send them out into the real world. Safehouses are the best living positions for these kids with powers, but it's hard to come across them and they're normally filled with six or seven kids already.
