So did you have fun voting today? I wasn't keen this year. I hate our Government at the moment. I did not. I actually forgot that I had to vote (I have to absentee vote everything, so thats annoying) until a couple of minutes before the poll booths closed. I ran an 11 minute journey in three minutes and somehow made it on time.
And yes, I agree. The government sucks. We'd be better off moving to New Zealand.

Ok! Oh boy, here goes. I'm going to tell it exactly as my mother tells it - it's up to you to decide whether or not you believe it.
My grandparents built mum's childhood home. They bought the land, developed it and built a house they lived and raised two children in it. I can't remember how old mum was when she saw it, but definitely a teenager. One night, she'd sleeping in her bedroom, in pretty much the middle of the house. Her door is open. At some point, early in the morning, she wakes up feeling like she'd being watched - here, she always makes a point of saying that she never felt threatened, only observed - so she sat up and saw what she describes as a 'blue lady in a long dress' standing in the doorway. They stare at each other for a long time, then the lady backs up out of sight. When mum goes to check, there's nothing there. A ghost? Maybe.
Years go past. Mum doesn't see the lady again, nor does she tell anyone. She's not sure if they'd believe her. Heck, she doesn't know if she believes it. Maybe she dreamed it (bizarre, vivid dreams run in the family). Eventually, mum moves out of the childhood house. Eventually, my grandparents sell it - and, bizarrely enough, one of mum's good friends buys it and moves in with her husband. The three of them go out for lunch one day, and mum decides to tell them - just for laughs - about the blue lady. At this point, they're the only ones she told. They both swear they never shared the story.
More years pass. My brother and I grow up. Their kids grow up. Then, about 7 years ago, friends of our family friends from come to stay. They sleep in the houses spare bedroom. One day, one of them wakes up and comes downstairs with a strange look on his face. Says something along the lines of 'so, has anyone else seen the blue lady, or am I going crazy?' Mum's friend flips out and calls us immediately - dude from England had never heard the story, but somehow sees the same apparition. So now we're pretty sure that there's something else living in the house. At least it's pretty benevolent.

Hey Mint! I’m doing ok - just getting settled into university, which I absolutely love. I think I’ve hit my stride now, but I’m juggling a huge amount of work, so my online activity has taken a hit. I have, however, found quite a bit of time for sketching, since I have a five hour gap between classes on Wednesdays.
How are you?

Fun fact. I just got Netflix last week and found out I'd missed an episode of Lucifer. Then I also got Amazon Prime yesterday because I could get a trail of it. I relate to that large gap between classes! Glad you've hit your stride and are enjoying yourself! I just started Spring Break. What classes are you taking if you don't mind me asking?

ENJOY NETFLIX You’re just in time, too! Season four finally has a release date - May 8th on Netflix!
I’m currently taking 3 classes - ‘Citizenship and Communication’ (I don’t like it very much, but I have to take it this semester as it’s the core class), ‘Stories from the Streets’, which is my introduction to journalism course and ‘Fictional Forms’, which is my creative writing class. It’s so much fun. I get to write a lot, which is awesome. I’ve got my first short story due on Friday.
Spring break sounds nice! I’ve got my mid-semester break next week, so I get to go home nad visit my family for eleven days, I think.

Yesssss. Very nice! Ooooo. That's after my finals I think! I get to binge watch uninterrupted! Where you the one who watched Teen Wolf? Or am I thinking of when I was talking to Kayla? Erg. Yeah, that does sound a bit boring. The other two sound really interesting though! I'm taking a literature class right now, so I'm reading (and should be reading now) Hamlet. Fun!

Yep, I watched Teen Wolf. Binged the whole thing in about four days, since it was being taken off Netflix here. Drove my brother mad screaming at the tv. Fortunately, he’s learned to deal with my fangirling.
I once read a strange retelling of Hamlet, told from Ophelia’s perspective, except she faked her madness and somehow survived the whole thing. Other than that, all I know about Hamlet comes from a) The Lion King and b. text posts from tumblr.com. This is the play that the ‘what, you egg? [He stabs him]’ line comes from, isn’t it?

Well, apparently Amazon Prime has it, so I guess I'll be watching it soon. XD More things to fangirl about if I like it. Pfft. Every line comes from Hamlet until proven otherwise. I haven't gotten to the big fight scene at the end yet, but probably. I've run across about 7 lines we use a lot (at least over here, don't know about what's more popular in the rest of the world). Mostly said by Hamlet. Hamlet is very snarky if you get past the language it uses. For example: King: Hey Hamlet. Mind telling us where you hid that body of the guy you just flat out murdered so it doesn't cause a scandal? Hamlet: I killed someone? Body? Not the faintest idea what you're talking about. Sure, the guy's dead and I killed him, but you ain't never finding the body ha ha! Or at least that's how I read it.

Oh, exciting!
I am five episodes in. Oh man. I like most of the characters, but in terms of favourites I’d have to go with Klaus and Diego. I mean... Diego is an absolute jerk (with terrible fashion sense), but I’m willing to let that slide. And Klaus is all kinds of wonderful. Hazel is starting to grow on me, though, for some bizarre reason. I don’t like Five. I want to hit Five.

I saw the trailer. o.o
Klaus is great. I love Klaus. Oh dear ... you're in for a wild ride for the rest of the show. I like all the characters to some extent don't hurt me, Five is my second favorite. XD Because he's infuriating and I tend to like a well done infuriating character and I feel like that's him.. I don't like Venya (spelling?) that much. Diego I think is my third favorite. He is an absolute jerk, you are right there. But good character moments and he's fun when he's frustrated. The side plot with Hazel and Cha-Cha is honestly awesome.

Heeeeeeeey. You're here now!
NOOOOOOOOOOO THEY FINALLY WORKED THINGS OUT AND NOW IT DOESN'T WORK OUT ;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;
Also how can this show actually get me to like all the guest-main characters they bring in? How? I really want Eve to turn up again. I really want Maz (spelling) to be happy. And I'm actually impressed because I thought I wouldn't like Eve but now I sorta kinda do. XD Also, I love how the plot at the beginning led into something a lot bigger and that it didn't, like, feature it was the main plot because I knew that wouldn't have worked if they had. It was an interesting season. I ... watched it so far I'm sure I missed some things. Share thoughts? Because I have a lot to scream about and not sure where to go. Also, have you seen Endgame? I think you were another of my friends in the MCU fandom?

I’m here! I’ve still got two weeks before this semester is finished (still got three assessments to finish ;-; ) but it almost done!
AHHHHHHH ITS OFFICIAL NETFLIX BROKE MY HEART But I was absolutely blown away by this season. It was absolutely fantastic. They storyline was wonderful, the character interactions continue to be adorable (and I’m so impressed by how well Netflix held onto the themes and all the characters motivations, and how well they handled actual societal issues oh my god). I agree - I went into this season fully prepared/expecting to hate Eve, but in the end I couldn’t. She was a fantastic character, and I’m sad that she didn’t end up with Maze, but i like that she’s going off to find out who she is before she commits herself to this new world she’s found herself in.
And yes. I have seen Endgame. That broke my heart as well, actually. I’m still trying to get over it. But DAMN, it was done so well. It was such a satisfying, well thought out conclusion to the past ten years of the MCU.
And between Engame, Lucifer and Game of Thrones, none of my ships have survived. Every single movie/show managed to tear my lovely relationships apart.

Yeeeeeeeeep. Netflix did indeed do this. I was actually very impressed how well they stuck to the characters. I'd love this show for the character development alone. The writer's are very, very good at it. I hope Eve - I mean she better - turns up again later down the line. What I really liked was that she still seemed to be an antagonist and a good person at the same time and I was just ... wow. How hard is it to do that?
-- okay, if anyone other than Dingo is reading this and hasn't seen Endgame, stop reading now.
Ha ha. I loved how they did that truthfully. I wish there was more time travel because honestly what there was was awesome. It was a three hour movie but I wanted it to be longer. There was so much and I really liked it. Of course the characters I want to be alive aren't. X') My poor heaaaart.
Which lovely relationship broke in Lucifer? I know which was in Endgame at least. *pats*

ONE WEEK LEFT UNTIL I'M ON BREAK AND THEN I SWEAR I'LL HAVE MORE CONTENT.
It really was incredible. I'm so immensely pleased. I really, really hope we get a season five soon! I think the cast are all really keen for another season, so now we just need to get Netflix on board!
Chloe x Lucifer for life! I will go down with this ship.
