[ Prepare for Titanfall ] [ Joining ] To join, simply fill out the form below and make a post on this page. Please only have one post in this thread for all of your characters. If later on you decide to make more then edit your original post and add them there, but make sure to tell me about it. :P
If you wish to claim a canon character then simply name the character and I'll put it down as claimed on the front page. Not that there's literally any canon characters in the rp right now besides Blisk but eh, maybe it'll come up later. Characters will be Pilot and Titan pairs so make sure to make both a Pilot and a Titan unless you wish to have somebody else roleplay your character's Titan or pilot. Try to keep numbers relatively even between the mercenary groups. It's not vital but it would be better if the two teams are balanced. || Pilot Form || "Moniker" refers to the name that your Pilot will use on the battlefield. Allies and enemies alike will recognize your Pilot by this name. It could be a codename or nickname, or alternatively just the Pilot's first or last name. It's kind of like a stage name. In 'physical description' make sure to describe their armor's architecture and coloration as well as any patterns or markings it has. Armor types can be original (in which case describe it through writing as best as you can) or taken from either of the games (in which case just say what the armor is, i.e. "Pulse Blade Pilot from Titanfall 2" or "IMC CQB Male from Titanfall 1"). Weapons and equipment are listed on the front page under Pilot Loadouts, there is no hard limit on what a Pilot can use but please be realistic in how much your Pilot can carry at a time. Everything else should be self-explanatory.

A nickname would generally be derived from those letters but not always. Preferred/Voiced Gender would be the gender that the Titan presents itself as, including the pronouns it uses and how its voice sounds. Titan classes are listed on the front page under Titan Loadouts. Physical description should include coloration and any external art or markings as well as patterns. You do not need to describe the Titan's architecture as each class has a set chassis and general appearance. No history section is necessary for Titans given that their stories are typically tied in with their Pilot's, but if you feel a need to put down a history then do so in the Other section.

|| Katya Brandt || Chatterbox or Kat || SN-2104 || || 23 || Female || Pansexual || || Apex Predators || || Kat is 5’1”, slender with little curvature. She’s built for speed and flexibility rather than strength. She has a youthful appearance, childlike even, with shortish black hair and green eyes. Her armor is dark grey with white wrappings and dark red accents, it resembles the IMC female sharpshooter armor (Titanfall 1) except she has an additional plate over her chest and no shoulder plates. She wears a unique helmet with a smooth faceplate that can act as a screen to project different emoji-like expressions. As a mute this is one of the ways she can communicate, with the other ways being gestures, writing/texting, and expressions. She’s almost always exaggerated in her body posture and facial expressions in order to convey her thoughts. Kat knows some sign language as well but few others know it so it isn't useful to her most of the time. || || Katya almost certainly has a few screws loose. She is cheerful and acts innocent most of the time but has a sadistic streak and enjoys battle a little too much. She doesn't care for many people but for certain people she is fiercely, unswervingly loyal. Kat has difficulty relating to others and rarely expresses empathy or sympathy. She seems to take joy in others’ pain and in causing that pain herself. The mute girl has a morbid and cynical sense of humor and somehow manages to be sarcastic and critical of others without saying a word. As an aside she is a very good interrogator- while she is unable to ask questions she is perfectly willing to cause pain and her silence is unnerving to most people. || || Chatterbox’s focus is solely on speed and stealth as reflected in her armor choice- light with few actual plates. Her weaponry typically includes an RE-45 Auto and a BE3 Wingman, which she can dual-wield, and she occasionally throws in a Longbow DMR when she feels like it. Her tactical ability is a set of Pulse Blades and on top of that she carries at least three Data Knives on her person at all times. She’s kind of obsessed with knives if we’re being honest, but her skill in using them can’t be questioned, as she is adept both at throwing them and using them in close-quarters even when up against guns. As for ordnance, she carries one or two Firestars but usually doesn’t need them. Her kit is tailored entirely to ground combat with no anti-Titan options, which is a weakness in some circumstances. She makes up for this by simply avoiding enemy Titans unless her own is nearby. The small girl also possesses little physical strength and is only a mediocre shot among Pilots. || || Katya was a street urchin on one of the Core Worlds who joined up with the IMC’s independent contractors as soon as she was old enough in an effort to escape poverty. She excelled in the ‘survival of the fittest’-style Pilot training regimen and received a full Pilot certification after only a few years in the program. She was shipped out to the Frontier mere months before the battle of Demeter. Fast forward to a few months before Operation: Broadsword where during a routine mission her patrol is ambushed by Militia Pilots and her Titan is destroyed with her still inside it. Despite taking severe wounds to upper torso and neck she was able to survive and was hospitalized for the duration of the operation. After her medical discharge it is known that she went off the grid for a few months after stealing a new Titan. Her activities during this time are unknown, but she resurfaced with a membership in the Apex Predators and her loyalty placed firmly in their leader, Blisk. || || Katya is unable to vocalize or make any sound whatsoever beyond breathing due to damage sustained to nerves around her larynx which leave her vocal cords paralyzed. She is unaffected beyond her inability to speak but the damage is irreversible by medicine and unlikely to heal any time in the future. She can communicate through sign language, gestures, expressions, and writing or texting. In battle her helmet is able to project expressions to indicate her thoughts if she is wearing it. ||
|| SN-2104 "Essen" || Katya Brandt / Chatterbox || Masculine || || Brute || || SN-2104 is entirely standard in its appearance with the regular IMC steel and silver color scheme, except for some added dark red accents, a colorful pink, blue, and green Dia de los Muertos skull painted on the front, and a small Apex Predators logo painted on the right arm. || || SN-2104 is cold and logical, preferring to keep things strictly business between himself and his Pilot, which is perfectly fine by Kat. He strives to obey his Pilot’s orders at all costs and answers only to her, most likely because of the work-around hack that Kat implemented in him in order to circumvent protocol when he was being stolen off of the IMC assembly line. It is most likely that his distant personality is because of his lack of a proper neural link and unfinished programming. This unfinished nature also occasionally manifests itself in random gaps of memory, stuttering, improbable leaps in logic, and occasionally drastic mood and tone changes. In short SN-2104 is possibly even more insane than its Pilot despite its attempts to keep things together. || || SN-2104 is not fully programmed and thus has an improperly-functioning neural link. This imperfect match is something of a liability and the link is held together mainly by repeated hacks and overrides on Chatterbox’s part. For now it seems to be as stable as a regular link, but it leaves SN-2104’s personality unstable and drastically shortens its AI’s expected lifespan. ||
|| Alan MacArthur || MacArthur || EV-0812 || || 37 || Male || Asexual || || Steel Wolves || || Alan is 5’11 with an average build and lean musculature. He has pale skin and red hair in a close buzz cut with a messily shaved stubble. His eyes are grey-blue and he has a strong jawline and slightly crooked nose. Alan’s armor is similar to the M-COR male sniper armor from the first game but with the Pulse Blade Pilot’s helmet from the second. It is a standard drab green and tan color like standard Militia armor but has brighter green accents over some parts of the body and the Steel Wolves logo painted over the chest. Alan has a heavy Scottish accent and tends to speak loudly and cheerfully. || || Alan is a stubborn and driven individual, which is probably one of the main reasons the Steel Wolves exist at all. He doesn’t take kindly to losing. MacArthur is a veteran of nearly every large-scale Militia operation and believes wholeheartedly in fighting for the freedom of the Frontier. While he puts the needs of his fellow Pilots first he is not above rejecting lucrative contracts for moral reasons and wants nothing to do with the IMC or any of its affiliate factions. He is a better tactician than a fighter but isn’t above getting his hands dirty. Alan is compassionate and wears his heart on his sleeve; he hates deception and prefers being straightforward. || || MacArthur uses the Holo-Pilot tactical, the V-47 Flatline rifle and a R-6P Softball grenade launcher. For ordnance he carries Arc Grenades. He’s got a very balanced fighting style and doesn’t take many risks, preferring to hold back a little in order to analyze the situation and give orders effectively. || || Alan has served in the Militia in some form or another since the war started and only left when he developed a heart condition. While it could be controlled with a pacemaker he was rendered unfit for service. Rather than give up the man simply became a mercenary and proceeded to help out Militia forces for small prices, barely more than he would make on a Pilot’s salary. Over time more people started to follow him and he officially founded the Steel Wolves as a unit for ex-Militia members who still wanted to do some good. Nowadays the Wolves are somewhat more independent from the war and have gained a reputation as effective guns for hire but they still prefer to work for the Militia whenever possible and MacArthur is still close with a lot of active service members and higher-ups. || || Has a heart condition which causes palpitations and increased risk of heart attack- these effects are minimized with an implant but he is still more vulnerable than the average person. ||
|| EV-0812 “Evie” || Alan MacArthur || Feminine || || Ion || || EV-0812 has a drab green chassis with brighter green accents and a wide ‘racing stripe’ down the middle of her chassis which is filled with a red and black tartan pattern. She also has a white wolf paw print covering the upper left part of her torso, above her “head”. || || Evie has a relaxed and confident persona. While she is still equally bound by protocol and committed to the mission she rarely expresses concern and attempts to compensate for others’ apprehension with optimism. It’s strange to hear it from a massive robot weighing several tons, but that’s part of the reason it usually works. She is also vehement in promoting the ideals of freedom and independence, as a Militia-designed Titan. Her patriotism almost borders on arrogance and is honestly pretty misplaced since she no longer serves in the Militia. || || N/a. ||

|| Marcus Zehr || Zephyr || AT-7840 || || 26 || Male || Straight || || Steel Wolves || || Zephyr's armor is the standard that is mostly given out towards grappling hook users, with a light gray paint job. Without his helmet he has black hair in a modern pompadour style, with stubble on his face. His eyes are a light blue color, and a scar is visible below his chin, near his neck.|| || Zephyr isn't afraid to get his hands dirty if it means completing the mission, but one thing some people consider a weakness is his sympathy towards others. He is usually willing to help out people in need, and he has a very hard time executing a surrendering enemy. When asked about his reasons for it, he merely says he "feels bad" about it, rather than being bound by a kind of honor code. Other than that he is friendly and loves to joke around occasionally. || || His arsenal composes of a Hemlock BF-R rifle with a holosight, and a wingman sidearm. His ordnance consists of a few firestars. He posses a grappling hook as his tactical ability. || || Marcus Zehr is a former pilot from the Militia, though it is unknown why he was discharged. Refusing to give up his own fight for the frontier, he wandered with a salvaged Brute titan as a vigilante until he discovered the Steel Wolves. Now he fights together with his brothers in arms, and his colossal companion. || || Other ||
|| AT-7840 aka "Red Star" || Marcus Zehr || Masculine OS voice || || Brute || || AT-7840's chassis has a dull red base paint with black smoke decals on the cockpit. Signs of wear are clear all over the titan from past battles, although the Steel Wolves' paw decal on the top of the cockpit is as good as new. || || AT-7840's AI consists of brute force. In auto-titan mode he can often be seen in the skies providing air support and peppering the enemy with explosive ordnance, all the while yelling expletives at them. Unlike some of his brethren, he focuses more on actually attacking the enemy than careful planning. Despite this, he is hard wired to obey his pilot, so he will do what he is told by Pilot Zephyr. || || AT-7840 was restored to working order by Marcus, afterwards the two paired together to help free the frontier. ||
