the sun doesn't set where i live until after 9pm so it's not even really dark until like. 10pm. sucks if you ever want to see fireworks because they don't start until after 10 lol. and in the winter it sets at like. 5:30pm and is dark at 6ish. (altho daylight saving time adds a bit)

Here, it doesn't get dark until some time after 8 and it's always humid. Also, it's always over 80 degrees during summer :/ I prefer fall, tbh.

during the summer it doesn't get dark here, period. for the entirity of june and half of july the sun doesn't set. we get sunset but never twilight and then for like two weeks we don't even get that the sky just gets a little darker and that's supposed to pass for night.
not gonna lie tho, I love it, if only because the alternative is the sun setting at 2 and it being pitch black at 3:30. still, fall and spring (when the sky works like it's meant to!!) is the best time of year

I mean, it depends really. sunset takes all of ten minutes in the winter and then twilight maybe half an hour at most, so there's not really an in between there. you go into a grocery store while it's still light out and buy a carton of milk and some flour only to step out into darkness. it's kinda disorienting. if you mean like seasons of whatever then yeah, obviously there's an inbetween of a few months between the total darkness and constant light, but you start noticing the late nights in late april and start noticing they're gone by late july, then in mid october you start seeing the nights stretching out so that's not massive either.
