They sound so different though! yeah they are different, but it's worth noting that even in england, accents vary greatly. there isn't a singular british accent, kinda like how there isn't a singular american accent. as far as british accents go, welsh and scottish accents are technically british :) anyway here's a fun map of the british isles

Oh. They sound so different though! yeah they are different, but it's worth noting that even in england, accents vary greatly. there isn't a singular british accent, kinda like how there isn't a singular american accent. as far as british accents go, welsh and scottish accents are technically british anyway here's a fun map of the british isles Ok. Fun fact! In "Smith and Jones" when The Doctor is on the moon with Martha. THe line "Judoon Platoon on the Moon" As specifically put in there because David Tennant had issues keeping the british accent with long oo sounds! Basically the writers were messing with him

by british accent i'm guessing you meant something like the london accent or at least the stereotypical one... and yeah he was okay but you couldn't tell he was scottish, it was definitely pretty obvious tbh

he did okay but as someone with the southern accent he was trying to immitate it definitely didn't sound right and it was pretty easy to tell he was scottish, especially in the 'rounder' sounds like o's and u's

The Isle of Man (seen between Wales and Scotland) is not part of Great Britain or the United Kingdom.
