( Well, considering that the camp spot hasn't been set up yet *prods 𝕊𝕙𝕒𝕕𝕠𝕨* that's probably not a good idea )

(Well sorry, I have a life.
I'm not in the best mood right now(Who am I kidding, I'm mad as...nevermind), not at you, but I really don't feel like being lectured.)

(I know that. And I'm not trying to lecture you. I just don't want this roleplay to die because of how much work was put into it, and I'm sorry if trying to move the plot along is a part of that. I was hoping that I wouldn't have to delete members early on but I have to stick to my word, which is why I'm trying to notify most of you guys. Although, it seems like most of the time my activity notices are ignored anyway.)

(Alright!)
Sparrow thought. "T-they probably crossed the river, to make sure the humans couldn't get to them." He hesitated, looking at the water. It was calmly flowing, but it was impossible to see how deep it was. It carried a few leaves and sticks with it, from other parts of the forest. His tail twitched.

(If you need a break that's fine, but the main thing that makes me upset is the fact that you were all told if you need a break for personal problems, etc. that you can let me know and you'll be pardoned. THAT BEING SAID, you're fine, and thank you for being honest.)

(That's fine. I'll post anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ judging by their position i'd say they group is probably either at the Fox Tail or Storkos River.)
Ethar took a deep breath, nodded, and padded cautiously towards the gentle river. He peered down at it, seeing for his first time a clear reflection. White and ginger fur, dark, oval eyes, and a long snout stared back at him. Never had he seen water as unclouded as this. The water back at the factory was always murky and dark- like the humans couldn't care enough to give them proper refreshments. He took a step forward, the water lapping at his paws. Kip didn't take any time to stop and admire himself. The elder figured there was nothing good to admire. Why would he want to see a scarred, ragged, dumb-old one-eyed gray fox? He walked bravely into the river, lifting his head to keep it above water.

Kumi met Branch's gaze, her lip quivered as she tried to think. That was a good question? Why did the humans seem excited today? "Maybe they're going to turn more foxes into coats or something. Or maybe kill us for food." The Lavander Fox said hopelessly, she felt a little let down by herself as she had no idea what was going on and was being question by a younger fox.

Veraque looked back, her fur sticking out a bit, "Just a little further!" she murmured, "We have to swim across," she explained, walking into the water and beginning to swim across. Her head tipped under for a moment, but she was able to pop it back up, yet the waves caused her small body to sink a little.
(Here we go! :3.)

[ Just letting you know that starting tomorrow until the 21st, I will be pretty absent because I will be working for my medical school internship every day, all day. I will still try to come on and respond to everything!

Sparrow frowned, watching Kip walk into the water. His tail kept twitching. He slowly walked up to the riverbank. The water was clearer than the factory, but he still couldn't tell how deep it was. The river was slow, but he still hesitated before carefully dipping his paw into the water. The current was weak. He dipped his other paw into the water.

Branch spoke. "Kill us? What are you talking about?" Worry filled her gaze. "They don't kill us! They wouldn't, they feed us and help us." She walked to the edge of the cage, looking at the hallway, her whiskers drooping. She remembered her family being taken away, but she never thought that... that would happen to them. "Would they?"

Oh, nice! Hope it goes well.))
Usnavi lifted his head, surprised when the Veraque spoke up. The champagne fox turned to Roma, Bambi and Catalan. "It's good to rest," he murmured, "but now that the groups started back up we should get a move on..."
Catalan sighed. "Yes, I suppose the sooner we get there the more time I'll have to rest later. Maybe the water will help freshen me up." The pregnant vixen gave a heave, and rose back to her feet, following after Veraque.
Kip waded through the water, his few toes and claws barely scraping the ground. His stubbed tail was lifted from the water as he paddled across. Ethar trailed behind him, having an easier time with the water. Being the a younger Red Fox, Ethar was smaller than an adult but still larger than his elder guardian. The water barely reached his shoulders, and even then he felt little traction with each step.

"My den is nearby, there are trees near there, you all can rest there," Veraque said, but gasped as the current snagged her small hing legs, pulling her under, she tried to fight it, but it wasn't working.

Usnavi was too busy trying to keep his own head afloat to notice Veraque struggling with the water. The smaller fox had never swam before. His whole life he'd lived in a cage, but naturally, his paws thrashed in the river, trying to push him forward. The opposing current didn't help in this situation, and his long fur dragged behind him.
Catalan trudged slower in the water, her heavy torso keeping her steady in the water. Her dark amber eyes went wide with surprise as she saw the fennec fox dip under the water, and not appear back up. "Someone help her!" the pregnant vixen wailed. At her current pace, she was moving too slow to catch up.

Sparrow waded after them, the current trying to pull his paws along with it. He carefully walked, but almost slipped a few times. The water was getting deeper and deeper and the current grew stronger. Soon, his claws barely scraped the bottom of the river. It was getting harder and harder to walk forward.
Fear filled him and his ears flattened on the back of his head. He tried to glance backwards to see how far they went but he couldn't. The current tugged at him. He struggled to keep walking straight. "S-should we turn back?" He called out, water starting to fill his mouth.

At this point, the water had reached Ethar's neck. Even though he was young, the fox always had quite the long legs. Hearing Sparrows call, Ethar tried to dig his claws further into the pebbly ground to hold him still. "We're almost there!" He called encouragingly, "we can head back, but we'd have to cross it anyway later."

Hearing Ethar's reply, Sparrow kept walking forward. The water started to rise above his snout and he could no longer hold onto the ground. He started to panic and his arms and legs thrashed frantically. He was trying to swim upwards, but the current made it hard to move anywhere. The water stung his eyes and filled his ears. Thoughts raced through his head. His snout reached the surface of the water and he took a hurried breath, before falling underwater again.

(Just a head's up Sparkly we're doing a bit of a prologue type thing, so camp hasn't been set up yet. The main group is crossing Foxtail River right now and after everyone's all gathered up we're going to do a time skip.)
