- That's fine ^.^ I think I'm only going to use Adeline and Ethan for now but lemme know if you want me to use someone else~ -
Adeline slowed her pace as she rounded the corner, sighing as she spotted the Institute just up the road ahead. It wasn't that she hated the Institute, after all the old cathedral had been her home for as long as she could remember. After the Cold Peace the comforting walls gradually turned into a cold prison, keeping her neatly tucked away and out of sight from the rest of the world. Her pace slowed the closer she got to the building, eventually coming to a halt as she plopped herself down onto the front steps to catch her breath. It was still early morning, the sun was just beginning to peak out above the trees in the distance. It was part of her daily routine to go for a run first thing in the morning, something her parabatai detested. Her hair was pulled up for once, although some strands had fallen from their constraints and hung loosely around her face. Like her runes, her navy blue tank top and black shorts seemed to stand out against her fair skin, slowly growing more prominent the higher the sun rose.
Ethan sat in his large desk chair, slaving away over documents as usual. Bash had been slacking off more than usual lately and left nearly every Clave message unanswered, which meant no sleep for his brother. It wasn't that running an Institute was extremely hard, but when the Clave expected an answer at a certain time and didn't get it... Well, you can imagine how that would create more work. Reaching to grab is cup of now cold coffee, the young Shadowhunter leaned back in his chair as he took a sip. The office was located on one of the upper levels Institute, the desk placed along one of the walls facing the large stained glass window portraying the Angel Raziel. His father had loved how the sun made the room fill with a rainbow of colors as the sun rose, starting as a small burst and growing until every corner of the room was filled with light. It was like that now as Ethan sat in his parent's old chair, smiling to himself as he watched his hand appear to turn blue as he went back to his work.

Ashton was outside of the Institute, balanced on one foot(her other foot was locked behind her slightly bent knee)precariously on a nearby rock as she watched the sunrise. She was working on her balance as it had not been as great as it has been. The brunette was in leggings and a loose fitting Green Day t-shirt that seemed a bit large and male-like for her. In all honesty, the shirt was Dylan's, but neither one of them seemed to care that Ashton liked to take his shirts to wear. In addition to the shorts and leggings, the young Shadowhunter was wearing no shoes, which deemed the question of how she got up on the rock without hurting herself. She didn't seem to notice Adeline jog up, but she did hear something jog up which made her go on alert. Just because the girl seemed to be meditating or something of the sort, it didn't mean she was completely shut off to her surroundings. She just wanted to see if Adeline would notice her or say anything to her.
