Okay, so, I'm creating a Clan. However, I think that my idea is quite a unique thing to do, and FlameClan will have lots of special rituals and traditions. Basically, they sort of worship fire, as well as StarClan. It's very complicated, so I'll set it all out for everybody to read. Should I change anything? Or post it now?
Introduction:
You gasp happily as you enter the forest, safe from the marshes. You've never trusted marshes, not since one of your friends died there. You look around, your pelt warm in a patch of speckled sunlight. You decide to go towards the scent of prey, and pad off in that direction.
You lean up to sniff the air, and quickly pick up the scent of a frog. You recoil in slight disgust, disliking the scent of the slimy creatures. However, your belly growls noisily at that moment, and you know that you must hunt. Slipping down into a hunter's crouch, you look around the clearing, finally spotting the frog. You were lucky that your belly hadn't scared it off. Edging towards it, you lined yourself up, and pounced, killing the creature instantly. However, just then, you heard the loud bark of a dog, and a huge dog bounds into the clearing, racing straight at you!
You hiss at the dog, and drag your claws across its muzzle. The dog growls in response, and lunges at you, but you dodge back, and quickly go around to the dog's hindquarters, biting it's back leg. Surprised, the dog topples over, and you attack it some more, clawing and biting. The dog is in a vulnerable position, and you could kill it, but you hesitate, one paw in the air. Finally, you step back, and let it escape. As you sit there, staring after the dog, a brown-and-black she-cat, with bright green eyes, emerges from the bushes, nearby to you.
"I saw that battle." She said. "It was brave of you to fight the dog, and kind of you to let it go. That's how we do things here. Brave, and kind." She continued. "My name is Tawnystar, the leader of FlameClan." The she-cat introduced ourselves. "We are the kind, brave, nurturing warriors of the wooded mountains. We worship the flame, and the heat that it gives off. Would you like to join us, young cat?"
You were surprised at this offer, and didn't answer straight away, but you could feel the she-cat's gaze burning into you like the fire that her group, apparently, worshipped. "So, young cat?" Tawnystar questioned you. "Will you join us, and become another bright flame of FlameClan? Or will you reject my offer, and go back to wandering the woods, with no real meaning in your life? What will it be, young cat?"

Clan Name: FlameClan
Territory:
FlameClan lives in a forested mountain range, with plenty of streams, rivers, small lakes and pools, clearings, wildflower spots, and the like. FlameClan territory has many waterfalls, including the one in their camp.
Landmarks:
The Burn-Cave: Where kits go to decide whether or not they are ready to become apprentices, and where the flame appears that signals that an apprentice has finished their Warrior Challenge.
The Training Clearing: A medium-sized, mossy clearing, with a sandy floor, and a smallish-medium, shallow pond. Apprentices learn to hunt and fight here, and can learn to fish, swim, and to do water combat in the pool.
The Moon Crystal: Where all of the Clans go to communicate with StarClan. Not technically part of the territory, but very close.
The Shimmering Falls: A beautiful waterfall, near the foot of the mountain. Lovers often come here to be alone!
The Old Camp: Early on in FlameClan's creation, before the rogues attacked, FlameClan had to move camp to escape disease. Some say that when you stand in the Medicine Den of the Old Camp, you can hear the dying, pained yowls of the ones who were left behind...
The Abandoned Twoleg Kit's Clearing: In the depths of FlameClan territory, a few seasons ago, a group of Twolegs left their kit here. Instead of being hostile towards FlameClan, the kit has learnt to work with them, and has even learnt to speak cat!
The Raven Hill: This is towards the SageClan border, where the forest is beginning to transition into moor. Plenty of crows, ravens, and other birds are found here.
The Wildflower Meadow: This is a beautiful meadow, filled with wildflowers. On Greenleaf evenings, fireflies fill the air, and this is often where a kit's first outing will be to.

Camp:
The FlameClan camp is set in a medium-largish bowl/crevice in the mountains, about halfway-to-high-up. Above the camp, it is extremely dangerous to continue, and is only explored further in order to visit the Moon Crystal, or to set apprentices their Warrior Challenges. In camp, there is a waterfall running down the back of the camp, and a small-medium stream/small river running down the middle of camp, about 3-4 Taillengths wide, and 1 Taillength deep. Further towards the waterfall, there is another, larger, rock, about 1 1/2-2 Taillengths tall, where the leader sits to address the Clan. There are several caves in the walls, which are used as dens. There are three caves behind the waterfall, which are the Medicine Den, the nursery, and the elder's den. There are two caves in each wall of the camp. On the right side, there is the apprentice's den, and the leader's den. On the left side, there is the warrior's den, and a small cave, which the Clan uses to gather moss.
Where They Go To Commune With StarClan:
At the very top of the highest mountain, there is a small cave, with an entrance tunnel just large enough for one fully-grown cat to squeeze through at a time, if they are in a hunting crouch. Inside the cave, there is a beautiful, crystal-clear crystal, sometimes as blue as the Greenleaf skies, sometimes as green as the greenest grass, sometimes as golden-orangey-red as the most beautiful sunset, sometimes as white as the purest cloud. This is the Moon Crystal. It is said that this crystal never appears the same way to any pair of cats. Growing around it, is a strange, purple flower, found nowhere else in the entire area surrounding FlameClan and the neighbouring Clans. To commune with StarClan, you must pick one flower, consume the petals, and sniff the fragrance. Touch your nose to the Moon Crystal, and the spirits are with you...
Origin Story:
A long, long, long time ago, back at the lake territory, there was a small, ginger she-cat, with bright green eyes. Her name was Flameheart, and she lived in ShadowClan. Unfortunately, Flameheart lived under the reign of a tyrant leader, Newtstar, who was, seemingly, tearing ShadowClan apart, from the inside out. Many opposed to Newtstar's rule, including Flameheart, but nobody wanted to say anything, for the fear of death.
One day, Flameheart came back from a hunting patrol on her own, to find out that ShadowClan had, finally, fallen apart. Newtstar had finally snapped, killing a cat who had opposed his want to wage war on ThunderClan, and sparking a fight. When all the infighting had been over, only a small group of rebellion cats had remained, wanting Flameheart to lead them. At the next gathering, Flameheart explained the situation to the other Clans, and, together, they reached a decision.
The next moon, Flameheart left a cat named Goldenfoot in charge of ShadowClan, and, with a group of cats from all four Clans, left to found their own group of Clans.
Moons passed on the journey, and, finally, the group had found the perfect territory. There was a mountain range, a forest, a hilly moor, and a marsh. From there on, they split up. A humble and herb-inclined tom named Sagetail and his brother, Eaglepelt, took a group of cats onto the moors, forming SageClan. A feisty, and vicious she-cat named Lilyfang and her best friend, Dandelionpelt, took a group of cats into the marshes, forming LilyClan. An intelligent, mysterious, and calculating tom, named Hawkbright, and his elderly mother, Rosepelt, took a group of cats into the forest, forming HawkClan. And, finally, Flameheart and the remaining cats adventured into the mountains, forming FlameClan.
Flameheart, now Flamestar, thought that everything was going brilliantly. No cat had died yet, after all. However, this peace did not last long. Within the next two or three moons, a group of rogues attacked the FlameClan camp, ravaging the Clan. No cat could defeat these rogues. Flamestar thought that the Clan was finished. However, then, a ray of sunshine shone onto a pile of dead leaves, sparking a fire, which raged through the camp, burning the rogues to a crisp, but not touching a single den or FlameClan cat. Flamestar proclaimed that the flames had saved them, and, from then on, FlameClan would worship fire and heat.
At the next gathering, when Flamestar announced this, she found out that such the same thing had happened to the other Clans, too. Sagestar had found a strange bundle of herbs, which had treated a deadly sickness which was tearing through their Clan. SageClan now worshipped herbs, and, particularly, sage. Lilystar had found a lily with a strange scent that grew on their territory, which had warded off the foxes which had been attacking their camp almost daily. LilyClan now worshipped these lilies. Hawkstar had witnessed a hawk bring prey to the Clan, many times a day, when their kits and queens were dying of hunger. HawkClan now worshipped hawks.
Ever since that day, each Clan has worshipped those things greatly. FlameClan worships fire. SageClan worships herbs. LilyClan worships the strange lilies. HawkClan worships hawks. But, most of all... every cat, herb, strange lily, hawk, and flame in the Clan's territories worships StarClan, for showing them what to worship, or, in the case of the herbs, strange lilies, hawks, and fire, who to protect.
Traditions And Clan Life:
In FlameClan, when a cat is ready to become an apprentice, they will be sat in a small cave, just outside of camp, where fires seem to burst out of the ground when they are needed. Fire will surround the apprentice, and, if the apprentice is loyal enough to sit still until Sunhigh, and trust that the fire will not burn them, then they will become an apprentice. If not, however, they must wait another moon to be apprenticed.
When an apprentice is ready to become a Warrior, they will be set a Warrior Challenge. The night before the challenge begins, the leader will be sent a dream by StarClan, telling them what the apprentice must do. The day after the dream, the apprentice will be sent away from camp, not to return until the Warrior Challenge is complete. The moment that the apprentice's Warrior Challenge is complete, the Burn-Cave will burst into flame, letting the Clan know that the apprentice has finished their Warrior Challenge. When the apprentice returns, they will receive their Warrior name, and a feast of prey and Catmint will be consumed that night.
When a new litter of kits is born, it is traditional to bring them to the Burn-Cave, and see whether the flames will burst when the kit is placed in the Burn-Cave. If the flames burst, then the kit will either become a great leader, the mother or father of many great warriors, or a medicine cat. Such a kit will almost always be mentored by the deputy, or the leader. Unless, of course, they become a Medicine Cat!
When a cat retires, they will go to the Burn-Cave for the final time in their living body's life. They will sit in the Burn-Cave, and, if the flames burst for them, then they will be able to retire. If the flames do not burst, then they cannot retire, for some reason. However, a request to retire is rarely denied. If the flames burst for the retiring cat, then the leader and the cat will return to camp, and the ceremony will be performed. That night, a feast of prey and Catmint will be consumed.
After a cat dies, their dead body will be sat vigil for until dawn, when the body will be placed in the Burn-Cave, and the flames will be allowed to flare around them, until the Medicine Cat confirms that the cat's spirit has made it safely to StarClan. After that, the cat will be buried somewhere in the territory, usually either the Wildflower Meadow, or at the Shimmering Falls. It is said that, if the flames don't burst for a dead cat, then that cat's spirit has gone to the Dark Forest...
Personality:
FlameClan cats are very loyal and will serve and protect their clan with their lives, but they are also very kindly and affectionate towards their Clanmates. They tend to hate confrontation, and battle. Many FlameClan cats also love kits. It is rare to see a FlameClan older kit, apprentice or warrior that does not dream of one day watching their newborn kits play and explore in the sun, or has already experienced this joy. FlameClan cats are brave and courageous, and tend to shun cowards. FlameClan cats are devotional to their Clanmates, Clan, family, friends, and especially StarClan and fire!
Pelt And Eye Colours:
FlameClan cats tend to have brown, black, ginger, or grey pelts, in order to blend in with the undergrowth. Pure white, or golden cats are rare, but golden is more common than pure white. Albino cats are almost unheard of among FlameClan cats! FlameClan cats tend to have green or blue eyes. Brown is common, too, but rarer than green and blue. Golden is extremely uncommon in FlameClan, but the rarest colour is lilac. Only a few incidents have ever happened of lilac eyes in FlameClan.
Fighting Style:
FlameClan cats will carefully plot out battle plans and locations of where to attack other clans, and mentors teach their apprentices to follow these plans to the letter. Therefore, they don't tend to fare well in surprise attacks. They tend to be fast and sprightly with their claws, and it is easy for them to leap onto an enemy's back to attack them, but up close, it is difficult for them to land their teeth in the right place.

The Warrior Code:
1: Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.
2: Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.
3: Elders, queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating.
4: Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.
5: A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
6: Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.
7: A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.
8: The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies, retires or is exiled.
9: After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before Moonhigh.
10: A Gathering of all four Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.
11: Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.
12: No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan.
13: The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code.
14: An honourable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win their battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or if it is necessary for self-defense.
15: A warrior rejects the soft life of a Kittypet.
16: Each Clan has the right to be proud and independent, but in times of trouble they must forget their boundaries and fight side by side to protect the four. Each Clan must help the others so that no Clan will fall.
The Rules:
1: At least three sentences of roleplay, please! Preferably, more! "I don't know what to write!" Is no excuse - Just describe! What's your character seeing, smelling, feeling, hearing, tasting? What are their emotions? How do they feel about the current situation? If your cat isn't very talkative, that's not a problem - You don't need to have any dialogue at all! Just describe!
2: Please try to be active! This means, logging on and RPing at least twice a week. If you won't be able to RP for a bit, please say so, and designate another person to RP your characters whilst you are away. High-ranking characters, prophecy cats, and apprentices on their Warrior Challenges are expected to post at least 4 times a week.
3: The other three Clans will be NPC for now. If you would like to be in charge of SageClan, LilyClan, or HawkClan, please remember that SageClan is humble, conflict-avoiding, and quiet, LilyClan is feisty, aggressive, and battle-hungry, and HawkClan is intelligent, calculating, and problem-solvers. Please message me, and I will be more than glad to give you leadership of any of these Clans!
4: Please follow the general personality types and pelt/eye colour types of the Clan. I don't mind an odd-one-out here and there, but if everybody isn't fitting in, then I may have to change the generics, and that would be a bit of a hassle, wouldn't it?
5: Kit-Stealing and battles with the other Clans are fine, as long as you check with me before starting any conflicts with the other Clans. Any kits that you steal will be expected to either be an NPC, or RPed by you.
6: No Powerplaying, or killing other people's characters. Ask before injuring or killing!
7: Please use a random generator to determine how many kits a she-cat has, unless a prophecy says otherwise. If you have more than one kit, please put up at least one kit to be RPed by somebody else on the Joining Page. The kits will be put up when they are born, with the pelt and eye colour, and no personality yet. If the kit has not been claimed to RP within two weeks, you may RP the kit yourself. Letting other people RP your character's kin increases bonds between roleplayers, and ties into rule 8 nicely. Here is a link to random number generator for determining litter size(Please not that I am not advertising this website in any way, shape, or form!)
8: Don't close yourself off in your own little world, with your own characters! Create relationships with other RPer's characters - Crushes, mates, parent-and-kit bonds, siblings, friendships, mentor-and-apprentice bonds, maybe even enemies!
9: This RP runs in real time, IE: One day IRL = One day in the RP. Time will run at BST, my time, so I can moderate more easily. However, the weather, temperature, and climate will be randomly generated, and not based on any particular place in the world. Please note that if SageClan, LilyClan, or HawkClan become non-NPC, at any point, their RP will run BST, too, so it syncs up with FlameClan.
10: LGBTQA+ characters are accepted. If you do not approve of this, but still want to RP, you may have a character who somewhat doesn't approve of LGBTQA+ cats. However, please don't make them be too loud about it. Maybe, they could just mumble angrily whenever they see, hear, or mention LGBTQA+ cats? (I am not LGBTQA+ myself, at least, I don't think I am, but I have nothing against these people. Be yourselves, people! Everybody else is already taken! )
11: Don't be too graphic with love or battle scenes, please. For battle scenes, just say the action, like "I slid under the white tom's belly, raking his belly with my claws." Don't be too graphic with your description of wounds, for example, don't say "The she-cat's wound was crawling with maggots", or the like, that just brings up bad images. For love scenes, nothing too graphic. Just say something like "And, we padded off into the territory together." At the end of your post, put a symbol, so that the other RPers know what's happened. If you really have to, do something like this: "Oakstream purred seductively, smiling. After that, everything was a blur..." As before, the cat with hearts symbol.
12: Forbidden love, breaking the Warrior Code, and leaving the Clan to become a rogue, loner, or kittypet is perfectly fine! However, not too much of this, and please message me, first, before doing this. If you transfer to another Clan, if that Clan is NPC, you will no longer be able to RP that character, unless it transfers back, like what Graystripe did.
13: You may only put a prophecy into the RP if you are a medicine cat, or the leader, and you message me with the prophecy and what it means, first, and I approve it. If you want to have a prophecy as a normal Clan cat, please see the RP Points system below.
14: Do NOT break these rules! If you break the rules 1 time, you will get a verbal warning. 2 times, and any posts that you attempt to make for the next day will be removed. 3 times, and any posts that you attempt to make for the next 3 days will be removed. 4 times, and you will be REMOVED from the RP.
The RP Points System:
The RP Points System is a system that I created, in order to reward activity, good RPing, and following the rules! The way that this works is that, for every literate, within-the-rules post that you create, you will be rewarded with 1 RP Point. If you do not RP for over 1 week, then all of your RP Points will be wiped, I.E: REMOVED! You will not get your RP Points removed if you assign a temporary RPer for your characters in your absence. Neither you, nor the temporary RPer will gain any RP Points from your characters in your absence. If you save up enough RP Points, you can get a reward! Here is a list of rewards that you can get:
Crazy Eye Colours: The Rainbow: Get Red, Orange, Ice Blue, White, Black, and Grey as eye colours. (5 Points)
Crazy Eye Colours: Neon Lights: Get Turquoise, Pink, Purple, Tan, and Lime Green as eye colours. (10 Points)
Crazy Pelt Colours: The Rainbow: Get Scarlet Red, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet as pelt colours. (20 Points)
Crazy Pelt Colours: Neon Lights: Get Turquoise, Pink, Purple, Lime Green, Ice Blue, and Light Blue as pelt colours. (30 Points)
Prophecy: Be allowed to suggest 1 prophecy as a normal Clan cat. (35 Points)
Keeping Them To Yourself: Be allowed to keep all the kits from one litter to RP yourself, if you please. (45 Points)
Drama: Be allowed to have a dramatic plot point all to yourself! (55 Points)
ULTRA Dramatic!: Be allowed to have three dramatic plot points all to yourself! (65 Points)
Did StarClan Give You Those?: Be allowed to give a character ONE, NOT OP, power! (125 Points)

(20 Points)
