(Mkay, I figure I'd throw Marie in too)
Marie was casually glancing out of one of the windows to narrow her eyes at the sight of more neighbors moving in. Good, maybe there was some new blood to be... Wait... She frowned as she was already picking something up. The whole thing seemed off and strange to her. A part of her felt tense and uneasy while she was running a hand through her hair. No, this wasn't right at all. She felt her stomach grow a little uneasy while she tore her gaze away from the new house.

ROLEPLAY- Riley approached Marie from behind and reached up to rub her shoulders. "Hello." He breathed softly, following where here gaze had once been, he pursed his lips and narrowed his eyes. "Something isn't right about them." He mumbled. "You feel it too, right?" -

Marie nearly jumped out of her skin as she heard someone come up from behind her. She nearly laughed, seeing that it was only her husband. She let out a relieved sigh before she looked over her shoulder to glance to him. "Mmh, I haven't felt this wary about a group since the Arentino clan..." she murmured, referring to a vampire coven that didn't stick around for long. "I'm glad I'm not the only one sensing it." she added.

ROLEPLAY- Riley leaned down a little and kissed his wife gently on her cheek. "Shall we go and greet out new neighbours?" He asked slyly, rubbing at her shoulder's gently to try and help relieve some of the tension tha tthey were both feeling. "Maybe we can get a wiff of who exactly has come here..." -

(Lol, you're fine)
Marie smiled slightly at his affection before she chuckled a little bit. "I'd like that... You plan on reporting it to your mother?" she raised an eyebrow at him. After all, she essentially married into the family, and she wasn't a real big fan of Scarlet being the matriarch... Oh well, that was just how things went around here. "We should definitely check them out though." she added after a moment.

OOC CHATTER {{ - Who turned Marie?
(also sorry it might take me a few posts to fall into the flow of everything) - }}
ROLEPLAY- Riley hummed softly. Although Scarlett technically wasn't his mother, he still respected her as if she was. The Coven leader was important to them all. "We need to keep up appearances too, of course." He responded thoughtfully. He tilted his head as he looked over at the window, out to the new people on the street. "Although, I don't think they'll care much for that," his eyes narrowed. "This feeling ... I really don't like it."
Aster wandered out of her room, heading into the kitchen. -

(You're fine, don't worry about it. Marie got turned by a vampire who attacked her when she was a teenager)
Marie felt herself smirk at such a silly thought. They had kept up appearances ever since they had joined the coven in the first place. A part of her knew that it was just the way things were, and there was nothing she could really do about it anyway. Oh well. Her eyes narrowed slightly before she leaned back a little to lean against him. "Well, if they turn out to be vampire slayers, we can always kill them in the night." she mused thoughtfully.

ROLEPLAY- Riley chuckled warmly, wrapping is arms around her waist and setting his chin on her head. "True." He laughed, "Very true." He glanced down at her. "Best do it before they set up defences." He glanced back over at the window again, eyes flicking between the truck and each of the new people. This was an interesting situation. -

Marie hummed in response while she placed her hands on his arms now that he was holding her. "Yes, I can already figure that at least one of them is up to no good... I've hardly seem a family with a large brood like this..." she murmured, taking note that there were at least four younger people walking to and from the house. "They'll hopefully won't be too big of a problem to deal with." she added.

OOC CHATTER {{ - I may poof to sleep soon. - }}
ROLEPLAY- Riley hummed again, "They all seem very young, you're right. Young people are easy to take out, and it makes it easier to get control of the older ones as well." He turned his attention back to Marie fully. "Have you fed recently?" He asked curiously. -

Marie pursed her lips for a moment before she chuckled a little more. "Mmh, not recently, I can go for a couple more days... I figure we'll just have to get to the store eventually." she murmured as she closed her eyes. "What about you? Have you fed?" she asked him as she reached up to touch his face tenderly, "Guess we have to check if the kids... If the kids have fed." she mused, knowing that Aster probably had yet to feed.

OOC CHATTER {{ - I th ink this might be my last post. I'm tired ;; - }}
ROLEPLAY- Riley nuzzled her hand in response and reached up to stroke Marie's cheek with his knuckles, staring at her fondly. "I can go another few days or so." He responded, then glanced over at the kitchen and then back at his wife. "Yes," he sighed. "We have to keep an eye on Aster's intake. We don't want to risk a frenzy with her with the new neighbours as they are." He glanced at the kitchen as Aster was leaving. She had a half eaten banana sticking out of her mouth and a small packet of chips in her hand. She took the banana out of her mouth and smiled sheepshily, knowing she had been caught. -

It was around noon on the day of June 10, and outside the Dimirs' car, the rural landscape of Virginia flashed by in greens and browns, slowly turning to the colors of the town of Willisten. It was a small town of only a few thousand, in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains- not a big city, but not strictly rural. Safe, clean. A perfect place for a family; a perfect place to start over.
Oldgarden Way. William Dimir surveyed the neighborhood carefully as he turned onto their street, judging the neighbors and keeping an eye out for their new house, 4264. There it was, a large brick house on a corner. It seemed bigger in person than in the pictures for its listing online, he thought as he pulled into the driveway. The children piled out of the car almost before William could put the blue Suburban in park, eager to be free after the long drive from Maine. Natalia, his wife, followed quickly as well; she wasn't one to let the kids wreak havoc on the house without her supervision.
William remained in the car for a moment longer, staring up at the house. His new home. He wondered how long this one would last for; after all, eventually they would have to move again. Barring tragedy or discovery, eventually people would start to notice that they didn't age. It was a pity- it seemed like a nice neighborhood. At least they might get a few good years out of it.
Finally, the red-haired man took a deep breath and stepped out of the car, gathering his keys and other such small belongings which had accumulated in the front seat during the drive. As he headed towards the front door, a strange feeling hit him suddenly and made him stop in his tracks: an overwhelming sense of alarm. He paused, instincts torn between flight and fight as his gaze drifted past his house to the one directly behind it, now seeming to loom almost ominously: a large dark-stone house that could be described almost as a manor, obviously built some years ago and inspired by Victorian architecture. On the black mailbox, in elegant red letters, was what he assumed was the family name: 𝒮𝓉. 𝒞𝓁𝒶𝒾𝓇𝑒
His attention was drawn by movement towards the top of the house, to a small balcony on the third floor. There stood an older woman wearing a plain but elegant dark green dress, a wine glass in hand as she leaned against the railing. His heart stopped as, even from this distance, his pale blue eyes met her vivid green ones. Jerked from his stupor by the shock of seeing the woman, he hurried up the steps and inside the house, letting out his pent-up breath as the door closed safely behind him. He glanced around the entrance, seeing no sign of his kin. No doubt they were upstairs arguing over bedrooms. He stood there for a moment, gathering his senses, before heading upstairs as well to find his wife.

Marie nodded a little bit while she looked over at their daughter, starting to chuckle softly at the sight of her. "You okay? Take it easy, no need to make yourself sick this morning, we'll probably be heading to the store sooner or later." she smiled over before leaning up to give Riley a small kiss on the cheek. "I bet we could probably get something from the woods..." she mused. Of course she had to deal with drinking animal blood. It wasn't the same as just having a human slave to drink from. Oh, she was starting to get a little nostalgic. She felt herself smiling before running a hand through her hair. "You need anything, Aster?" she asked her young girl. -- Natalia easily heard her husband coming up the stairs. It helped that the stairs were newly creaky, and she had learned to listen out for the gliding steps of her family in the first place. She pushed back her blonde hair before adjusting her glasses while walking out of the master bedroom. "William..." she called over before she easily caught sight of him. "Hey... What's the matter?" she asked as she quickened her pace before standing at his side. "You look like you've seen a ghost...everything okay?" she tilted her head to the side. The last time he had gotten this tense was the cause of their move in the first place. "Talk to me." she added quickly.

William sgood still for a moment, trying to find a way to express his concern without it seeming silly. "It's probably nothing...." he began, his voice still carrying just a hint of an almost stereotypical Transylvanian accent despite having spoken English for so many years. "I just have an odd feeling about the neighbors. The... St. Claire's? According to their mailbox," he continued.

Natalia raised an eyebrow at him before letting out a long sigh through her nose. "No, don't tell me that." she muttered to him while she reached over to squeeze his hand gently. She looked out one of the windows to stare out to the other house. "Mmh...weird and Victorian..." She didn't want to label it as vampire, but after years of being raised as a vampire hunter, she knew that vampires could be sticklers for the old ways.

William nodded. "Seems almost too obvious." That was the main reason he doubted his instinct- being a vampire was dangerous, and being too obvious could get you killed. He hopes that the neighbors were just odd and that it was setting off false alarms. Still, one could rarely be too cautious.
"It's probably nothing, but we should still probably tell the children to be wary," he commented, half to his wife and half to himself. "Though, we've moved enough, they should know to always be careful in a new place by now."

Natalia pursed her lips while she watched the outside for a while. Maybe she figured that this could have been a silly coincidence. She reached up to pet his hair for a moment or two. "Yeah, I feel you." she admitted while she glanced up to him with a gentle smile.
"I just hope that the kids can have a good couple of years here." she murmured as she leaned up to give his cheek a small kiss. "Come on, you can help me organize some of the dishes?" she offered so that he could try relax a little more.

ROLEPLAY- Aster finished off the banana and shrugged a little. "I'm good with anything that you get." She responded, rocking on her feet, her attention was on the window of the happenings outside, rather than her parents in front of her. "I'd like some blood though..." She trailed off, absently licking her lips. -

William couldn't help but let out a chuckle at the reminder of such a mundane task. "Sure," he replied, wrapping his arm around his wife and giving her a squeeze. He knew she was just trying to take his mind off of the potential danger until they knew what to do about it, and though it wouldn't work he appreciated the gesture nonetheless. "I saw the kitchen when I came in. It's quite a bit bigger than the old one. We should have no problem finding places for everything."

"Well of course we'll get some blood." Marie said as she pulled away from her mate and was patting her daughter's head for a moment or two. "You just ned to behave yourself, I think I saw new kids that came with the neighbors... If they're human, we don't need you feeding off of them like crazy." she said sternly as she pt her hands on her hips for a moment or two. -- Natalia felt herself smile at the thought. "Yeah, maybe I'll be tempted to buy more glasses for showing off." she teased him gently. She had always made sure to get steel utensils for her family. Only once did she casually place actual silver utensils down she she had been particularly mad at her family for forgetting mother's day... She leaned up to kiss his cheek while pulling back to open up a box filled with some old dishes from her family.

William laughed, taking Natalia by the hand and heading towards the stairs so they could get to work unpacking. "Don't get ahead of yourself, or we'll end up getting rid of boxes of stuff when we have to move again," he teased lightly. Of course, it didn't matter if she got more glasses or not, they always ended up having to throw things out when it came time to move- or flee, as it seemed more accurate at times. Hopefully they would have time to unpack completely before that happened again this time, though.

ROLEPLAY- Aster pouted, but nodded anyway. "I knoowww..." She sighed. "Can I ever have human blood again?" She asked, knowing that the last time that she did she did nearly frenzy.
Riley smiled gently at his daughter and his wife. "I'll go see if Scarlett wants anything in particular." He told Marie gently, excusing himself as he made his way up the stairs. Once at Scarlettt's room, he knocked gently. -
