[Ugh I got Arte's pronouns wrong //facepalm// I need to remember to add them too]
"I'm sure they're fine," Elisa smiled "but we ought to check. And I have to light their fire anyway. At least if they are ill I can make sure they're warm."
So once again they left the chambers and Elisa headed out and walked a little along the corridor to where Arte's chambers were, knocking gently but clearly on the door. Nobody was in the hallway so Elisa decided to use the childhood nicknames for the group to cheer Artemis up.
"Arte? It's El and Gabe. Won't you come and play outside with us? After I've lit your fires, of course," Elisa asked.
The request was worded to sound exactly like she did as a child when she would come and ask the princes and princesses to come outside to play. She even put on a childlike voice, hoping it would cheer Gabriel's twin up a little bit.

(Thats okay. I probably will call him HIM at points and stuff too, they don't mind which pronouns are used, being true GN, they will respond to male, female, or neutral pronouns in the same way XD)
Gabriel followed after her down to Arte's wing of the castle, holding his flute, and a blanket to set down on the ground after they went out into the gardens. He smiled even warmer, if it were possible when she used their childhood names. immediately brought back to that place of happiness and warmth.
Artemis had perked at the knocking, knowing immediately that it was not Gabriel, since he never knocked, and rather just burst in whenever he felt like it. Not that Arte really minded, in fact they were rather fond of their twins ways. A small smile lit Arte's face as they heard Elisa's voice, and the carefully worded request. Artemis got up, briefly disturbing Mortem, who crowed angrily but settled down just as quickly before they opened the door a bit, smiling slightly at them both. "That is not a request we have heard in many a month." though it was known that they didn't really like leaving the castle, Arte was not about to say no to his twin, and their best friend. "Wait here, we will join you. Mortem and Vitea could use some air any how." Artemis retrieved their two ravens, harp and a hat with a wide brim, so their skin wouldn't burn in the sun.

[Fair enough XD]
Elisa smiled immediately upon hearing Artemis' voice. She was happy that they were alright - when Gabriel had mentioned that he hadn't seen his twin in a little while, Elisa was definitely a little bit concerned about Artemis. At least she knew they were not ill.
When they opened the door, Elisa smiled and slipped inside the prince's chambers for a moment, saying that she had to light the fire. She did so before leaving the room again with Artemis so they could all go outside and enjoy the sunshine.
"Okay, out to the gardens we go," Elisa smiled "I'm sure Mortem and Vitea will enjoy being outside for a little while. And so will I"
Oh, she couldn't wait to be able to spend a little bit of time in the sun again with Gabriel and Artemis. When they were children, Elisa had been closest with the two twins, since they were the closest to her own age and they had the most in common in that respect. Elric had been good company before the death of the queen, after which he wasn't so much fun anymore

Gabriel smiled and wrapped his arm over his twin's shoulders "That took less begging than usual, you must be feeling well, huh Arte?" though his voice and mannerisms were a bit teasing, it was clear that Gabriel was relieved as well. He was glad to find Artemis in good spirits and health and any day Artemis left the confines of the castle was a momentous occasion. It hadn't been easy on them growing up, not just because of the loss in parental figures but because of their wildly contrasting personalities. Ever since he had learned to talk, Gabriel had been outgoing and sociable. He made friends readily and easily, Arte on the other hand...well...lets just say no one knew they could talk for about a year after they learned to speak. Well, no one had known, excluding Gabriel and Elisa.
Artemis smiled slightly and gently ducked under Gabriel's arm. "We feel pretty well, yes. It has been a good week for us." They grinned and walk in easy silence with Gabriel and Elisa, actually quiet looking forward to spending time together. He couldn't remember the last time he and Gabriel played the instruments in the garden for Elisa. It had been more than a year.

"Well, I'm glad of that," Elisa smiled when she heard that Artemis was alright "I'm lucky to be catching a break at all today. The castle is so busy at the moment, what with all of the talks with neighbouring kingdoms. There's never any peace around this place right now. But enough about that. I want to forget about work and be like we were when we were kids"
She was so excited for this. It had been so long, and she loved the company of the twins. It was a rare day indeed when Artemis felt well enough to go outside, for one thing. Even rarer was it for Elisa to be able to take a break. It had been a year since they'd all been able to go outside together and just relax like they used to do when they were children and they used to spend all of their time out in the gardens.
It was funny, but none of them had been aware of status at that time. About how the princes and princesses shouldn't be spending time with the daughter of a maid, or about how Elisa should be acting around the princes and princesses. How she should be using manners. Now they knew, but just chose to ignore these rules and do whatever they liked.

(Lol you right you right. Also it's been four years x3 he just stopped talking after two years into his enslavement.)
Keegan nodded slowly, relaxing at the thought of being able to speak without worrying about others listening in on the conversation. Elric might be understanding, but the others in the palace might not be. He swallowed uncomfortably, throats aching from all of the talking he'd done, his vocal chords clearly protesting their misuse. He glanced up, mouth drying at how long it'd been. He just thought it might have been a year- of course he'd kept the possibility of it being longer in his mind, but overall he'd thought it would have been shorter than four years. He was shocked at the fact that Elric didn't believe the rumors, not once, and didn't know how to feel about someone actually taking his side on this. Where was he when this all happened, when he could have used a dissenting voice. Perhaps he'd be ruling over his kingdom now, the same confident and friendly man he had been four years ago. Now even the thought of being around another human terrified him, let alone speaking in front of a crowd. "F-four years?" He echoed faintly, not responding to the last bit of the comment, still trying to process everything. Suddenly a wave of nausea overcame him, clearly the rich pastries were too much for his stomach, and he looked a tad green.

(Yesss I could see him as Little John. Next time she leaves to cause trouble he should come along XD)
"Exactly!! Huh, I knew there was a reason father wanted to keep you around, you have good ideas," she said in a low voice, chuckling. Her father often was speaking about how useful Thoren was, but she highly doubted that he was meaning that he was smart enough to keep his daughter from getting caught. She paused, seeing the library. "Well, this is the library. It's pretty much only used by Elric and Arte, but you'll find Rebby there too if she knows Elric is there. That girls practically attached to my older brother," she said, sounding highly amused at this comment. Ever since their mothers death Rebby became attached to the eldest. She used to cry and cry until Elric came in until she fell asleep, and then she'd end up wandering the halls in the morning until Elric found her and put her back to bed. Elric was practically parented her, considering how attached she was to him. Of course she was close with the rest of their siblings, but her relationship was a bit different with Elric.

[Whoops, apologies x]
"Four years." Elric repeated "And I'm sorry I couldn't help you. I tried, really I did, but there was nothing I could do if I couldn't find the evidence to prove that you were innocent."
Elric had his hand on the library door when he noticed that Keegan was looking a little ill. Elric bit his lip, looking at the former prince. He was no good with feelings. Far too complicated things.
"Are you alright, Keegan? I'm sorry, I know it's a shock. We don't have to go in there and talk about this if you really don't want to." Elric replied.
He didn't know what to do. The prince was clearly struggling and Elric was at a complete loss as to what he should actually do about this whole situation. After all, there wasn't exactly much he could do to help. The truth was the truth. And Elric really couldn't help him, no matter what he did. He had tried to write papers but they just didn't have enough backing to be credible. What he needed was hard, solid evidence, something he was severely lacking.

"Yes." Artemis quickly agreed "There is no need for us to focus on what is going on in the palace. Politics and all the talks are extremely taxing on everyone. We don't need to fret about it today." He gently pet Vitae's feathers and let Mortem perch on his shoulder. "We miss the older days...when we never had to worry...or attend the balls if we didn't want to...the proposals from other princes and princesses is stressful"
Gabriel laughed softly at his brother "You are popular with the lads and lasses Arte. those proposals are compliments." His smile soften as they reached the door to the garden " However I couldn't have said it better myself. I much prefer the peace of the garden with the two of you for company." he reached the door, and threw it open, letting in the light and warmth of the sun, visibly losing all tension in his body "My and what a day. its perfect." He held the door open for them, as was custom. Elisa was a lady when she was with the twins, and Gabriel was afraid the door would downright crush Artemis if he were to try and take its weight. __________
Thoren chuckled softly. "I doubt that your father really keeps me around for my ideas, but rather for my handiness." He grinned slightly, but his eyes grew soft "I suppose I am just Lucky. There are plenty of black smiths and handy people in the kingdom. If he wouldn't have picked my mentor to be the black smith previously, I wouldn't be here." He walked with her for a while in silence for a while, taking in the tour she was providing, and looking around the massive castle, while pondering his previous thought, and how differently his life would have turned out, if he weren't the royal black smith. He would have probably ended up in a farmers field some where.

"I miss the older days too. They were so carefree" Elisa replied as she thanked Gabriel for holding the door for her, as usual. Nobody ever bothered to hold the door for Elisa.
As they walked outside, Elisa undid the bun that held her hair, removing as much of her uniform as was feasibly possible until she looked significantly more normal. Well, it would just have to do.
"You're right," Elisa said as she shook out her hair "it is a lovely day. The perfect day to be outside with my two favourite people in the palace."
Gabriel and Artemis were Elisa's best friends, without a doubt. They were both very kind people at heart, Elisa thought. Artemis was just a little quieter and took a little longer to show his kindness. But that was okay. It made the both of them unique. Twins were generally the complete opposite of unique, by definition, and yet these two twins were as unique as you could possibly get.

"D-Duncan's too smart t-to have left anything," he responded, shaking his head with a sigh. His brother had always had that manipulative streak to him, a cunning that was beyond Keegan's understanding. He glanced up, realizing that he must have looked ill, that his body was mirroring the discomfort in his stomach.
In all honesty he was touched, that someone cared enough to clear his name. He just thought that everyone had believed that he'd commited those horrendous crimes. He was never close to many people, even with the old confidence he had in his leadership skills he was painfully shy when it came to making personal connections with people. There was a man he'd been... romantically involved with, but even he didn't believe Keegan when he protested and claimed his innocence. He said he couldn't risk it being the truth, and he couldn't ever have a fugitive found in his house. Keegan was sure that's what had broken him in this entire situation.
"I-its not talking about it. I-I-it's the food, I think. V-very rich," he managed, his voice sounding hoarse as he spoke. He was still fighting to keep it down, not wanting to lose his stomach in front of the man. It'd been days since he'd had a drop of food in his stomach, and he ate too much so his body was fighting him on it. They stepped into the library, but he was more focused on keeping the food down than taking in their surroundings.
--- Tori was, quite frankly, eternally grateful that he had been chosen as an apprentice for the royal blacksmith. She didn't know what she'd do without the guy- the one who was constantly poking fun at her, helping her lighten up, who kept her secrets even though she knew that he was aware of her night time antics. Of course the mans didn't know what she did exactly, just knew that she got herself into some trouble during the night. She wanted to keep it that way, because God if he knew what she was actually doing he'd probably never let her leave the castle alone. Freeing slave was a dangerous business, and she had her fair share of scars just from assisting in escapes. "Well I'm glad you were chosen, but you were for s reason, look how talented you are."

"Ah, don't worry, I'm sure it'll be fine if you give it a minute. Why don't you sit down?" Elric asked, gesturing to one of the many chairs in the library before moving along the library shelves.
His fingers moved along the spines of books until he stopped at a sheath of papers. He had bound them together but they had no cover. He drew them out before seating himself on one of the other seats, near where Keegan was sitting, so they could talk. He passed the other man the papers.
"Your brother might but smart, but not smart enough. I still managed to find a few things, and I've outlined my views on these papers. There is plenty of evidence that could help prove your innocence, but I'm a respected scholar and I don't publish anything unless I'm sure my argument is airtight. There's something missing. I just need something more, something to help prove your innocence beyond a shadow of a doubt. Unfortunately, if there is such a piece of evidence, I have overlooked it thus far."

Keegan nodded his ascent, too afraid of opening his mouth, the nausea overwhelming him. He slid into one of the seats, placing an elbow on the table and resting his head on his hand. It truly seemed as if sitting up was too much for the former prince at this point. His stomach was roiling, but he forced himself to pay attention to what the man was talking about.
He startled, watching with wide eyes as he dropped the papers in front of him, recognizing the lettering but unable to actually read it. He touched the papers, nausea forgotten about, surprised that he had this much evidence on his favor. "Wh-what evidence do you have, in my defense? There surely can't be this much," he murmured, slipping into the kingdoms tongue. He couldn't believe that someone was actually fighting for him, and he couldn't help the tears that pricked at his eyes, threatening to spill over. After all these years- four years of thinking no one cared, that they all just thought that he was the villain his brother painted him to be.

(hey guys I am switching to mobile, so my replies may be a bit shorter)
Gabriel smiled as he followed after them. "Hear that Arte? We're her favorite people" he grinned
Artemis chuckled softly, having taken a moment to get used to the sunlight, it took a moment, being as they were not duly used to it. "We already knew that. Because Elisa is our favorite too." He grinned at both of them before he move to gently set Vitae and Mortem on one of the bushes, so they could do as the pleased. Artemis was not very worried as he had raised them since they were chicks, and they were well trained birds.
"I suppose that logic makes sense." Gabriel smiled and laid out the blanket for them to sit on. "And I agree. You two are my best friends." ____________ Thoren nodded softly. "I wasn't quite so talented when I started though. That sword you were using earlier was one of my works, and you saw how it broke." He grinned at her. "I am a much better black Smith now, for sure."

"Like I said, Keegan, I'm a scholar," Elric chuckled "We're extremely talented at making a lot out of a little. My main argument is that there was no weapon in your room before the murder, according to some eyewitness accounts, but there was afterwards. It sounds like it was planted there, to frame you. Then there was the fact that nobody had ever seen you training with the weapon you were accused of using. The point I relied on most didn't require any evidence, though. I wrote that it would be underestimating you if it were assumed that you didn't think people would suspect you of the murder, so you wouldn't commit the murder; you'd know it would result in accusations of treason and, at worst, even death. But your brother? He had a lot to gain by framing you. He could kill two birds with one stone, as it were, and rise to power unimpeded. And nobody would suspect him because he wasn't first in line. But yes, like I said, I just need something physical. Something from the scene of the crime that absolutely proves that it can't have been you. But I'm completely stuck in that regard. It doesn't seem to matter how hard I look."

[No problem, Solstice]
Elisa smiled, eyes sparkling with childlike happiness "Well, I'm very glad of that. It's important to have best friends."
She settled herself on the blanket alongside the twins, stretching herself out in the sunlight, letting the warmth seep into her skin for what seemed like the first time in months. She let out a sigh of relief as she began to relax, sitting back and appreciating being outside with Artemis and Gabriel.
"Oh, this is so nice. It feels like forever since we did this. We ought to come out here more often"
She wished they could. It was very nice to pretend that this was possible all of the time, even though they all knew it wasn't. there was nothing they could do about life and the way it kept them apart

"Wow," he breathed, taking on all the information that had just been given to him. They were all logical arguments, ones that he'd never thought of before. If only he'd had Elrics frame of mind, but his face pinched immediately. Even if they could prove this Keegan had no interests in returning back to his home. The events that had transpired taught him he couldn't trust anyone who was in that retched palace. Not only that, but whenever he was in a room with more than two or three people he panicked, he wasn't in any frame of mind to lead.
"B-but w-what is your goal? If D-Duncan was ever e-exposed who'd lead D'ra? Th-they'd be left l-leaderless," he stuttered, thinking of the politics of it. He curled his hands together now, trying to keep himself upright.

"An astute question," Elric replied, sitting back "I suppose you have good reasoning for questioning me. But I'm not looking to take over D'ra if that's what you're thinking. I'm just trying to do the right thing and make sure you're brother is seen for who he is. And to clear your name, of course. I thought you might want to take back control of your kingdom once they know you're innocent, but now it's clear to me that you might not feel up to that. I'm sure there is somebody in your kingdom who could lead. Even if there's nobody with a drop of royal blood in your kingdom, there must be some kind of protocol to determine who can lead."
He was trying to figure this out himself even as he spoke these words. All he knew was he couldn't allow Duncan to continue to rule.
[Maybe at some point Duncan finds out how close Elric is to exposing him and captures him? That's if we want the plot to take a darker turn]

"Th-there's always my youngest b-brother, if he's alive," he said thoughtfully, warming up to the idea. His youngest brother was five years younger than him, but was mature beyond his year. He'd been on a trip during their fathers murder, so he couldn't help his brother if he wanted to. He wouldn't be opposed to exposing Duncan, showing the world his true colors but he still feared going back to his old home. "I c-could never go back. C-can't t-trust anyone th-there." He informed the man before his face turned a deathly shade of pink and he shot up and out of the room. He managed to make it to a decorative vase before promptly losing all of the contents inside his stomach. His body trembled in protest, retching until there was nothing left, leaving him trembling and weak on the ground. He was embarrassed, being reduced to this, not even able to handle simple pastries in his stomach. He let out a soft string of curses, hitting the ground lightly in frustration, before retching again into it. (Omg yesssss I love that idea.)

"I can't trust anybody here," Elric replied with a laugh "Except Rebby, but that's only because she's eight. When she grows up she'll be as much of a threat as the rest of them. But it doesn't mean you should give up. but I understand. If you truly don't want to do that, perhaps your little brother should take your place as the king back in D'ra."
And then Keegan had...well...vomited. Everywhere. Elric tried not to react. He had to show that it was fine for Keegan to do whatever he needed to
"It's okay," Elric said as he rushed over to try and comfort the other male in whatever small way he could, even if he was awful at it "You're safe here. Your stomach will get used to the food again soon. And it'll be lunch before long so you won't have an empty stomach for long. Just take it easy on the food a little bit at lunch and you should be absolutely fine.W

(Gabriel volunteers to help rescue his brother...or then again, maybe not, because By succession...he would be the next in line..and then he is technically innocent...> nah...he has to much of a conscience) Gabriel smiled softly, as his eyes fluttered closed, taking in the warmth of the brilliant sunshine, the sweet smell of the flowers and the outdoors, and the slight ruffle of the summer breeze, immediately about 8 years old again. "We must make it a point to do this more often." he agreed, voice soft and dreamy as he let his eyes flutter open again, and looked up at the passing clouds. "If there is no time, I will order it be mandatory for the staff...at least 5 minutes can be spared on days like today." "One should always partake in the beauty each day. Even if that beauty is the sound of the falling rain." Artemis added quietly, having snagged the spot on the blanket that was under the leafy tree, thus still in the shade. His knees were drawn up to his chest with his arms wrapped around them, as he looked to the sky as well, watching the scarce passing clouds "The flowers bloomed early this year. That was always a sign of good luck to come."

The last feeling he had before he vomited was relief, knowing that Taron was still alive. Although he'd grown up knowing he couldn't trust any of his siblings, no one in the palace he still had a soft spot for his highly intelligent little brother. Frankly he had always thought that Taron should be the ruler, no one in the kingdom could compare with his intellect and honesty, and he was the best at foreign relations. The only department he lacked in was combat, and even then he had guards to protect him.
Then his stomach decided to completely reject the food given to him and he made a mess in the hallway, leaving him embarrassed, frustrated, and a bit terrified. He managed to flinch away from the prince as he neared the sick former slave, his mind immediately expecting punishment for making such a horrid mess. Then he heard the gentle words and he looked down, body burning but he didn't know if it was because of embarrassment or a fever, able to feel how his body was reacting, knowing it's how it did when he was sick. "'M s-sorry," he muttered, horrified as he stuck in the same spot, feeling another wave hit him.

[Ooh, that could be interesting too. A genuine decision that has to be made as to whether Gabriel will help. Some inner turmoil]
Elisa smiled "That would be wonderful, Gabe, but I fear that even if we only spared five minutes, nothing would get done around here. The palace needs to function perfectly, and for that to happen the staff usually can't spare a second. In fact, I'll probably be told off when I go back in there. Not that I exactly care."
She honestly didn't. She never listened when she got told off anyway. So what was the point in worrying about it? It didn't matter anyway because she could just say that she was spending time with the princes. Nobody would dare argue with her if she told them that because if they questioned it that was tantamount to arguing with the princes. It had worked for Elisa countless times in the past, that was for certain, and she had gotten out of a lot of trouble.

"Don't apologise. It's completely fine. Are you sick?" Elric asked, concern knitting his eyebrows together "I can get a doctor to come and help you if you want. I don't know much about medicine or...uh...healing illnesses. Of course, it still might just be the food, but, uh, that was rather a lot of vomit."
Elric was certainly a little grossed out by these bodily fluids, but he didn't show it. He had to remain as logical and calm and rational as he possibly could. This wasn't the time for Elric, of all people, to stop thinking clearly. He was always logical and analytical, and this was most definitely not the moment for that to stop. He had to clear his head and continue on.
He knew he should get someone to help, but he would only do that if Keegan wanted him to. He didn't want the other man to be more embarrassed than he already was.

(Yes. It will be interesting for sure ^^)
"If anyone dares to tell you off, you can direct them to me, and I will explain the situation." Gabriel smiled at her, but the phrase "Explain the Situation" had a bit of emphasis to it, like it carried a threat. a threat that in no way matched the tone of the light words nor smiley-ness of the angelic Prince's face. He quickly moved on from that though, not letting it linger "Unless of course it is father, or Elric. I am afraid I would have no luck with an explanation there...besides they are both scary." He smiled sheepishly
"You are still afraid of father?" Artemis asked increduously, tilting their head. "is that fear not supposed to go away with age?" he teased his brother. Artemis knew very well why Gabriel was afraid of their dad, pure intimidation aside, Gabriel had always been the child most likely to cause trouble. When he was younger, the bubbly blonde prince was always cooking up ideas and trying them out and though he'd become more calm and dreamy with time, he was still a bit of an issue. His ditz air-headed ways ended with a lot of broken vases, or statues when he wandered around the palace. the most recent was a crystal lamp just the past week.
Gabe chuckled sheepishly and rubbed the back of his head. "I guess not."

At that Keegan gave a small, uncertain shrug. He really didn't want to burden the prince more than he already had, so he didn't want to admit the possibility of him actually being sick. He sensed the crown princes discomfort, and stood on shaking legs, breathing slowly as he did so as he tried to regain his composure after that horrifying scene. He had himself propped up against the stone wall, shivering at how cold it was as he studied the man with tired green eyes.
"I-Its been a long t-time since I've b-been sick," he said hesitantly, forcing his arms to lay still they wanted to cover his stomach. Despite what he was saying he still looked rather ill, his face taking on a rather ashen color.. He was still trying to process everything, from escaping to reuniting with Elric again and discovering he'd been working on proving his own innocence.

Rebby clung onto the woman tightly, moving her hand from the bigger one and wrapping both arms around the ladies arm. She found comfort in it, even if she just met the lady something told her she could trust Payton and she followed her willingly. She could hear Tibets careful pawsteps, realizing that he was walking ahead of them, so it seemed that he trusted the lady too. She smiled a little at the comment, happy that someone appreciated her climbing skills. Her older siblings did, sort of. They hovered over her too much, though, and she wanted to prove that she could fend for herself. "It's easy, all you have to do is feel for the holds in the wall. They're just little dips but if you push off hard enough it's easy to climb," she responded, seeming to warm up to the woman just a little bit more. "How far up was I? Was I close to the top?" She asked curiously, suddenly determined to get to the top of that walll. It would be a challenge, walls were hard because the dips he felt he usually weathered and that meant that not all footholds would be reachable and she'd have to be smart about it. As Rebecca wrapped her arms around her own, she tensed up. Why was the child so okay with her? It didn't make sense to Payton. How could someone who has killed so many people be a comfort to a little child? Shaking her head, she tried to get rid of the doubt she felt and the feeling of being unsure. Maybe this child just didn't know what she had done. But in her heart, she knew Rebecca knew what she had done, and not of the first time, was ashamed of herself. "You have quite the knack for it, indeed," Payton said softly, trying to calm herself. "You got a little more than ten feet up the wall. Lets hope next time you don't fall." Payton looked around and said, "Maybe we should head to the library. One of your brother's might be in there." She bent down and picked Rebby up so that she didn't have to walk anymore and they could get their faster.

Rebby puffed out her chest in proud in that, that was a pretty high height for her first time climbing it. The pride was quickly extonguished when she felt herself be lifted up and she let out an angry squeak, squirming. She thought that she was being picked up because she couldn't see, that it was only that, nor because the other was injured. "I can walk myself!" She snapped, suddenly a little temperamental, and she lifted her knee up in an attempt to shove away, but let out a whimper when her gash hit her side a little roughly. She stopped protesting after that, the pain catching her off guard as she buried her head into the woman's shoulder. She didn't want the lady to think she was a weak child, so she did her best not to cry out, gripping the cloth tightly as she did. (This ones kind of short. Sorry!)

As Rebecca struggled, her knee contacted her dislocated rib. Payton stopped and gasped for air. Oh my gods, she thought. She'd been hurt before and probably worse than this but it felt like a sword went through her lungs. Pull it together Payton, she thought. "I'm... sorry I frightened... you Princess, but I really... need to get you to your sibling as soon... as possible so you aren't in pain any more," she gasped. Payton did something she didn't do, she put a hand on the girl's hair and tried to comfort her. She continued to walk and once they got to the library, she knocked on the library door and then opened it. "Hello?" she called in, putting Rebby down. She use to come here at night when she couldn't sleep until she realized other people had the same idea as her. She never knew who would come in at night, but she knew that if she had revealed herself, the person would've been frightened. Just like everyone, she thought bitterly.
